I'm fine with the writing the blog, social networking, sending out the newsletter, and personal contacts. I am useless at all the analytics and numbers and parameters...all of it. I'm not a numbers person. I don't even want to be a numbers person. I don't want to spend hours poring over stats to figure out what I'm doing right or wrong. I abhor change, so having to change the way I do things frequently is like being beat up and left in a ditch.

I'm thinking of getting a partner who does nothing but all this stuff and nothing else. We each do what we are good at.

Does anyone else do this?

    • So when you see your numbers going down, so you give the writers advice about how to bring more viewers in based on the stats? Do you work together as a team, or do you just outsource writing and never really get to know the writers?

      I want someone who will work hand-in-hand with me. An equal partner who has a stake in the business. I can see where someone working numbers could just hire people to do the writing, after all, you tell them what keywords to use however many times in which places. I'm an SEO writer, so I know how that end goes.
