I will start with this advice - you have to build trust in order to become successful at affiliate marketing! Without the trust factors you might make a quick sale here and there, but you will not be able to keep at it for the long run.

This pretty much sums it all in a nutshell. Good customer service will always bring back more business, even if you didn't make the initial sale. It's also common sense and manners

If you want your affiliate business to last long-term, then you need to make sure you're adding value for your customers.

In other words, there needs to be some reason to visit your site and buy from you, rather than from another affiliate or from the merchant directly.

That could be useful content, such as comparative reviews, or videos you've made showing the products, or your own photos and descriptions.

By the way - just re-writing the merchant's product descriptions in different words - while it's a good idea from Google's perspective - doesn't count as useful content. You need to add some value or insight of your own - your own expertise and point of view.

For that reason, if you can find products that you're actually interested in and know something about - it will be a whole lot easier to come up with all the content you're going to need - and you'll also have a good idea what buyers might want to know.

    Here's my 2 cents:

    1. Focus on only 1 site or niche to begin with, do NOT take on a new project until the first one is SUCCESSFUL. Heed my warning!

    2. Make a plan. Plan out what you want to promote, how you're going to promote it, where your customers hang out online, what tools you're going to need, what articles you're going to write or have written for you, and the list goes on. Put them on a calendar or schedule so you stay on course.

    hope this helps

How about starting about three sites, putting the vast majority of focus on one, while adding little bits of content to the other two, so they can have some age when you get to them later?

Start small! No matter what you decide to focus on, set small and easily attainable goals. Once you hit the goal, work to reach the next. $10/day, $50/day, $100/day, etc. Good luck!

    My advice:

Stick to your goal. Never jump from project to project. Never get distracted. Focused on doing just one project until you make it. And TAKE ACTION.

Focus on only ONE traffic source, ONE niche, ONE network, ONE method. Try to learn and master it. Don't be all over the place with strategies and techniques. Then move on from there.

Be consistent. It's important that you stick to your goals and use techniques which you're comfortable with and that you know will bring you results. To jump all over the place using different methods and strategy will leave your clients confused and I highly doubt it'll bring you the results that you're capable of achieving. If you're confident in your ability and are consistent in your approach, the results will speak for themselves. Good luck.

My one bit of advice (well, I guess 2, really!) for affiliate-marketing newbies, would be that EPC (earnings per click) matter a LOT more than payout, and products/services with a recurring payout are a good idea.

Before you select a product to promote, you must first find a hungry market. Then find a product to fill that market. If it's a Clickbank product you will be promoting, buy it first. If it's a good product, make a short review video and put it on Youtube.

Remember that Youtube is as good a search engine as Google. (Google owns Youtube).

If you do it correctly, your video will show up in the organic results in the Google search engine. People love video. And making a review video of your product is a fantastic way to advertise.

As a beginner in any field, I'd advise you to find a mentor.

Someone who has experience in affiliate marketing can offer support, guidance and the benefit of their own wisdom which will end up becoming invaluable to your career.

Advice from me, give your customers what they want, period. If you don't know what they want, then make them believe that they need what you sell! Watch Wolf Of Wall Street movie, scene with selling a pen is amazing!

    1 piece of advice:

Realize early on that there is no magic bullet. It's hard work and you need discipline and perseverance if you want to make it work.

2nd piece of unsolicited advice: Work on the fundamentals, namely copyrighting and understanding who your customers are. Those two skills will transfer over into any offer and traffic source you venture into.

Start very targeted. You'll stand a better chance for success if you drill down to a sub niche in a market with high demand. That way, you'll be able to build authority with your audience and possibly dominate that sub niche.

Focus on the relationship you have with your list!

It ain't the size. its the relationship you have with it.

I made my first $3K+ with a list of less than 15 people

Inbox me if you have any further questions happy to help

Understand that conversions from traffic to money, is what matters.

So an Amazon product at 4% commission might be much better than a ClickBank product at 100% commission, because Amazon often converts VERY well . . . some Amazon pages will tell you that 70% of visitors to that page buy the product. Compare that with ClickBank, where some products might convert well under 1%.

So, a low-cost product that pays a small affiliate commission, might be much better than a high-ticket product that pays a lot, but converts poorly. i.e. it's EPC (earnings per click) that matter, not affiliate percentage or product value.

This is all just basic math, but it's rare to find anyone who actually understands such things

  • There is no rules be sure about it no matter what other people say..
Just try to stay focus on lets say 3 offer at the start...
The best rating products can be tricky - look if to many people promote one project for you like a newbie will be harder to make sale.
I work here like a vendor also , start recently one moth or maybe even less..
I will give you one of my true story tip- recently me and Darki try to run one clickbank promo over facebook we took one project old 4 yeas lol yeah 4 years we pick it random- and that product was well known in those years, even now maybe you can find nulled one - it is one software will not mention which one- we run 20$ ads on it... and you know what happen we have 4 sales so no rules.. Just stay focus... and try to listen yourself... Pick by intuition from time to time.
