Increase Sign Ups

My company has recently relaunched our dating site for gamers datehero.com do you guys have any tips on increasing free registrations? The website has been back online about 6 weeks and last month it got over 4000 visitors. What can I do to improve conversions?

    For a start you need to drive more traffic, I can tell the site is pretty new, I would usually check alexa ranking before trying, you need to build reputation management ( people don't just sign up for dating sites )

    Also, please make sure you the images on the home page are more real ( Mix it, not only girls, but add guys profile as well )

    You'd be able to target people who like other dating sites but are also interested in video games. With the right optimization, the paying customers you pull through the free signups should outweigh the ad costs.

    You may consider submitting the site to gaming blogs as a story they can write about. Work out an affiliate deal with them if you can.

    Do facebook ads but after adding more engaging content on your feed. Instead of using link shares for everything, you can post large 800 x 800 images from time to time. Also upload some funny videos!

    Do more with your instagram account. Hold instagram contests with your unique hashtag #datehero. Ask for their dream #datehero date. Like accounts of gamers. Create funny posters about dating gamers or gamers finding dates!

    I agree with Winnipegtech and Coach Marc that targeted Facebook Advertising will probably work. Just configure your targeting to be very precise to increase your chances of conversion.

    On top of that, I would add some short information about what the site is about above the fold. Even just putting your title "Best Dating Site For Gamers" beside your logo or above the sign-in and join now buttons would help, methinks. That's because it isn't immediately super obvious what the website is about.
