Growth Hacking for SaaS with large deal size, small market size

Hey,

I'm really excited to ask this question because any help that I can get would not only be welcome and greatly appreciated, it would make a huge impact to my business. I'm a partner in a SaaS business that provides a technology solution designed for use by a certain role in the education industry. There are only a few thousand institutions in North America that can purchase the product and the licensing fee is in the low-mid five figures range.

I've been reading through the growth hacking forum and trying to figure out what tools, processes or even tips and advice we can implement to get this thing in the hands of the right people sooner rather than later. It seems like there are a lot of great tips and I even read another topic that was specifically about SaaS but in that case it seemed like the target demographic/target user base was actually a lot larger.

So far we are doing direct sales and trying to contact our prospects directly but they are quite busy and it's been challenging to try and set up meetings with them. What can we do to get more meetings, to generate more awareness about our product and to make sure that we're getting into the minds of our consumers as quickly as possible? I would really appreciate any help that you guys can offer, keeping in mind the specifics of our business model.

Thanks!

Just a few suggestions to look into: Adwords, SEO optimization, social media campaigns (like Facebook Ads.)
