Do you use lead generation services? If so, which ones?

Hi All,

My web design agency is about 1 year old and we've spent the past year trying to build out our portfolio and a team structure for all our services. Now that we're entering our second year, we're looking into lead generation to start outreaching and sell ourselves.

We've been investing in our own SEO and experimenting with Google/Facebook ads but we havent been getting the results we've been hoping for. Its still early for the SEO so I believe that eventually we'll be seeing more organic leads. I've been looking into services that provide contact info for businesses to cold call but I'm looking for services that provide leads for people interested in Web Design & Marketing Services.

Ideally, this isnt how I'd like to go about making sales. We are building to a point where leads are coming in organically where we dont have to solicit but, for now, this seems to be the only option.

I was looking into Rank Leads (I know that some people got turned off from them a few years back but, supposedly, the company changed hands and things have changed) but I got turned off at the fact that on a normal business day they werent answering their phones.

Do you have any lead generation services or tools you use to get some warm leads for web design and marketing services?

I use software to scrape websites using the Google custom search engine tool. I scrape millions of emails a month and then email prospects. Because its so targeted my open rates hover around 45-53%.

I can share what I use. Every business is more or less a prospective client for me. I use a website which gives me the contact info of the employees of that company and I cold call or email the right person.

In case of your use case, you can narrow down to the ones which have a bad website or some bugs. However, I don't use a lead generation service yet.
