Hello Everyone,
I am new here but I have read plenty of threads and replies. I am convinced that I am at the right place. I seriously need help. I am aware that the internet is generating the 21 century's billionnaires. The agrarian revolution did its part, the industrial revolution generated more and now it is time for IT. To cut the long story short, let me say this. I have started a blog in the financial niche. But I have no idea how I can make money from it. I hear people make more than 2K /month from AdSense but I have no idea how I can get AdSense working on my blog. I am looking for the procedure kindly help.

True intro. I like the attitude.

Internet is all about Traffic. the goal here is to generate as much targeted traffic as you can.

Now, there are several ways to Monetize Traffic. Depends on the niche you picked.

For AdSense & other PPC programs. its about time spent on your website. You gotta make visitors stay as long as possible. so you'd have better chance getting clicks on your ads/banners.

Other than that. Affiliate Programs are really good to make extra money outta your traffic.

At last. You can sign up for media buy/sell ads, and you sell your traffic to other people (some marketplace like https://buysellads.com)

I am really grateful for the time you took to give me these insightful suggestions. But kindly shed more light on things I should do to make visitors spend more time on my site. By the way, the blog is in the finance niche. I have written a few articles on forex and stock market. I am also crafting more on personal finance calculators..

Hi Medon, Adsense is one how to make money solutions on the blog.

I learned about someone recently who made $100,000 monthly income over a number of years of work with their own blog activities.

Plus another blog expert made their own $300 during 1 days, with his own blog activities as well.

Some ideas to consider to start to make money blogging:

Have effective SEO plan in place on the blog headline, content etc
Share effective benefits content on the blogs, to help attract more visitors
Have some effective marketing strategy in place to market and advert the blog to grow your own visit and audience to even higher level

    You can also:
Sell your own personal products or your own services or your expertise on your own blogs as well to make money with blogging.
Affiliate marketing on your own blog, is another ways to make money blogging.

I do share some marketing advice and some how to make money advice as an Entrepreneur.

So I hope you find some of these make money blogs ideas helpful.

          Hello,
Good ideas here! But I hear it is not all that easy to run affiliate marketing on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I read somewhere that trying to place ads on these social media channels will lead to account suspension. Please let me know how I can do it without having the accounts burnt

There is no need to continue adding many many affiliate url links.

You can just add some comments to the different platforms I mentioned.

When you do share some posts in Twitter, Facebook etc from your own blog or from anther site with a social media share button.

That can now add your own url link, but no need to do that many many times now.

While nothing is 100% perfect on Planet Earth of course.

Great insight. Well, I have thought about selling my products at some point. But for now, I am more interested in affiliate marketing. I am just thinking about using it to redirect buyers to websites where they can buy what they are looking for. I also plan to market products not just on my blog but social media. Keep new ideas coming.

    * Find affiliate programs related to the topic of your blog, and sign up for them.

    * Post ads for those affiliate offers, in various locations on the site.

    * This is assuming you're generating targeted traffic to the site. If not, that's a separate challenge or goal.

    * Especially if you don't have much content or many pages on the site, set up a content rotation tool, to show different ads (or offers) to visitors.

    * At first, you're just "throwing stuff against the wall" to see if something sticks.

    * If you stick with it, and hopefully have chosen good affiliate offers that your visitors want, something should start to resonate with visitors and you'll start making sales.

    * Once you find winning offers, optimize them by testing different ads (or offers) to increase clickthroughs, and especially conversions.

    * Expand on what works, and reduce or eliminate what doesn't.

    * Continue to optimize, and scale up.

    * Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.

Marty, you have come closer to what I was looking for. I bet the first thing I should do is to find affiliate programs related to the niche. Wonderful. The trick part of it is to find the affiliate programs. My niche is finance. Any idea?

I tend to like affiliate networks where once you've signed up you can promote many different programs (after approved by specific merchants). And which let you track down to the keyword level.

I may be biased but have done pretty well (grossed a low 6 figures) on CJ (Commission Junction), using Google Ads, primarily.

If I were unable to track to the keyword level using CJ, I would not have done near as well. You've got to find traffic sources (the right search terms in this case), and affiliate programs, that convert. And that comes back to testing, which takes time.

There are many affiliate networks but I have less experience with most of them. Maybe some other WF members can give more feedback (specifically, for finance-related affiliate programs) from their own experience.

        Hope this helps.

Hi. My suggestion is work on your blog first. Release contents that are SEO friendly and maybe upload at least once a week. Also, make sure that your topics are trendy so that more people would be interested. I am sure your ranking will go up. Then apply for affiliate if you want.

  • First off, write different quality contents for blog posts, after those contents have been able to gain some reasonable amount of steady traffic, start including some affiliate links to those posts. That's how to start off, then and then can you start applying for ads on your website. Hope this helps.

Making money from your blog depends on the type of traffic you get. You can start with Adsense but their approval takes long.

You can also sell physical products on your website and make money. You can advertise local goods and make so much money too.

These days it's about leveraging the power of social media in order to grow your reader base. I didn't like social media at first because I couldn't understand it, but now I see it's crucial. There are different methods to utilize social media and video sharing sites like Youtube. Learn some of them and this will help to blow up the traffic to your blog. The monetization can come in many forms, even simply asking for donations or creating premium content that would need to be paid for.

You can do Adsense. You can do Adwords to get immediate targeted traffic. You can do SEM, which is "Search Engine Marketing" to get a ranking for your financial blog.

You create a product for Clickbank, or just a downloadable ebook from your site that is not available anywhere but your site. You can become an affiliate for others on Clickbank for their products.

You can get into Bitcoin, since you seem to like the financial aspect of the internet. Bitcoin is the internet of money.

You can have a membership site that charges your visitors for your specific information. It does not even really have to be your information. You can buy PLR content and have all the rights to sell the information from that. My fingers are getting tired.

I use 5,000+ Micro Influencers to share my articles on FB and generate 45-100 clicks per share. I average about 3,400 shares an article so I generate a massive amount of traffic. If someone isn't interested in the article, they won't click on it to read it as the headline shows up before they click on it. Once people are on the article, I have really good content that promotes monthly subscription sites so I can make recurring revenue. I do this over a ton of niches. I also have 200K Influencers in my database covering a ton of really popular niches. This let's me generate a ton of affiliate income each article.

I am with the guys and gals who talk about Adsense and Affiliate Banners. Both effectively are the same thing, but with one difference. I have both on my site

Adsense is content related, whereas Affiliate Banners are banners you choose to put on your site, so the income potential from these is much greater than Adsense

With Adsense you would also need to write a lot of content to get money.

Both work well, but my preference would be affiliate banners, as they pay more commissions both up front and from referrals as well.

You need to share your blogs in blogging platforms such as medium, haro, hubs pages and so on.

Is sharing blogs on guest posts still working?
