Warrior Autoresponders Anybody Used EM?

Greetings from FLA!

After reviewing the ongoing debate between Awber and GR (100's of responses) I noticed two different Warriors promote two dedicated AR services:

"Direct Responder"
"Rapid Response Bot"

Anybody used em? I'd appreciate feedback. Thanks.

Ok I've checked them out and they seem identical...even the sales page seem quite similar...the wording etc. It might be the same product but marketed as two...not quite sure.

EDIT: I just sent a support ticket to rapid response bot and they repleid within 15 mins...I guess they are true to their word on being fanatic about support. Oh and I think they're only $49 for the year.
I would like to know what their delivery rates were though. Doesn't mention anything about that on the website.

Hi This is Phil Eugene - I own Rapidresponsebot Autoresponder service. We are not associated with any other service.

Our delivery rates are very good - somewhere around 95% we are on our own dedicated server and have contact with a lot of big isps - we quickly act to prevent any blacklisting or spam complaints and so far have had no problems.

Our only problem comes with YAHOO accounts - they have terrible delivery rates - it seems if one person hits the spam button instead of unsubscribing they block all mail for 72 hours. Which is why I don't accept yahoo addresses when creating accounts. Maybe other services will tell you different but I don't believe it.

The service is two years old and going strong..currently it's underpriced and will increase probably by about double by the fall.

That's the scoop from me...if I can help let me know..

      Hope this is useful.

I just check that it's only $69 for lifetime membership (thats an OTO)....it seems simple to use, and does the job required. Can;t go wrong for that price

I'm not seeing a lifetime membership price anywhere

    Hi Phil,

I'm interested in your autoresponder service. I want to know how many leads can it store for lifetime membership?
While many other autoresponder services charge over $100 a year, why do you and how can you afford to give such a low price for lifetime service? ...just curious.
    Thanks

importantly, how many different campaigns can i create?

RapidResponsebot and Direct Responders both use the Parabots autoresponder script. It's actually a great piece of software for the price, and is ideal for a basic autoresponder service. But it doesn't have the sophisticated tracking features of a service like Aweber or Getresponse.

I run the same Parabots script on two different servers... one for New Zealand clients (where I live) and the other for anyone around the world who wants to use it.

I'm not actively looking for new clients because I mainly offer it to my web design clients, as an add-on service. That way, I can keep a close eye on who is sending mail.

All my own lists run on the Parabots script and it works like a charm. I had to spend a bit of time getting the servers set up correctly, to get delivery to Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL etc.

Email delivery largely comes down to how your server is set up. If Rapidresponsebot and Direct Responders have paid attention to that side of the business, they would be good value for money at the price if you're just starting out.

Recently, i receive an email from Gary, the owner of Response Bot autoresponder service. He mention that he will be closing down Response Bot due to the buggy Parabot script. I personally emailed him and was told that the script contain too many bugs. Below is the link to the closure message.

        Responsebot Autoresponder

I understand that Response Bot is also using the same Parabot script as Rapid Response Bot and Direct Responder, if that is the case, will Rapid Response Bot and Direct Responder face the same closure problem too?

        James

Update: I just received a message from Phil stating that his version of the script is newer than Response Bot and that until this date, he have not come across any bugs in the script. This is a good news to all Rapid Response Bot users i guess. =)

Hi guys - Phil here - owner of Rapidresponsebot - Plainwords is quite correct - we run on a version of the parabots autoresponder script as do several other companies. While it is not as sophisticated as aweber you are not paying those kind of prices either. As Plainwords said the script is solid and robust and I am unaware of any bugs that limit its usage - and I think by now I would have found them... I was in contact with the creator of the script just last week and he gave me a minor cosmetic update but he himself no longer sells it since he has moved into a different business.

I have not set any limit on how many subscribers can be on the system - I haven't really had to so far since we are mostly aimed at new comers who just have small lists or low budgets. I myself have 12000 subscribers on my autoresponders there with no problems.

Campaigns are unlimited. Autoresponders are unlimited.

I just don't allow unrestricted import of leads since this ALWAYS leads to spam complaints and headaches for me. However no other service does either (since we have all been down that road)

How can I afford my low prices and particularly the OTO lifetime price? - well the short version is they are going up soon. But generally our experience is most subscribers fail to do much with the service - lots of enthusiasm - little effort - most IM'ers don't put in the work needed to succeed and give up the service after a year or two. So the lifetime oto generally works out fine for us. People stay and recommend us to others.

Hope that answers some of the questions above!

    Best Regards

    Phil Eugene

PS Why phil eugene not phil essex? well it's my middle name and essex triggers all the spam filters - I think you can figure out why...

      Phil,

You mention that the guy who sells the script will no longer work on it. Does this mean there will be no future upgrades, or what will happen if you come across any bugs in the future etc?

Also do you have any future plans to close this service?

Don't worry Phil, i have already updated my post a couple hours ago stating that your script is a newer version when compare to Response Bot. Warriors now know that your script is newer and is better than Response Bot and have no bugs at all so don't worry.

It is actually a good thing if you look at the other side of the picture, at least those users who have the same question as me have their doubt remove.

Once again, thanks for clarifying the script version with me in your private message. Your customer support is top notch and this is what it matters.

      To our success,

      James

MrEyeconic I said he no longer sells it - not that he wouldn't help me with any bugs- he has always helped me immediately when I have requested it. I have no plans to close the service - in fact I have plans to seriously make it bigger and offer more services with it.

Hi Phil, just to confirm it does the basics below:

    1. Unlimited follow-up messages (scheduled in terms of days after optin)

    2. Unlimited campaigns

    3. Unlimited broadcasts (scheduled according to calendar and time)

    4. Uses tokens for names, firstnames, signature, etc

    5. Allows tracking of links (links are masked in emails)

    6. Unlimited number of subscribers

    7. Hosted on RapidResponseBot's server and not our own webhosting

Also, how is the deliverability like? If I send a broadcast to a list of 30,000, will it take hours to reach them or it happens instantly?

If it can do all the above, I will grab your OTO! But where is the link?

    Thanks!

    Let me know.

      Hello Phil,

You didn't give answer to Davion Wong's above given post.
I am also waiting the answer.
I also hope to build a list of 50K using your AR and eager to see answer for the above.
I know almost all of those mentioned features are present in your AR, but want to acertain it.

Friends who are using Rapidresponsebot, Why you are not sharing your opinion about it here?

Norabots.com is a cheap AR that costs $10 per month for Unlimited subscribers.
Is Norabots also using 'Parabots autoresponder script'?
Can anyone share their experience in using Norabots?

        Hi Blackgold

I figured I would just be repeating myself but to answer your question - yes to all of the points listed - as far as delivery it takes about 10 minutes to deliver 10000 messages.

The one point I would like clear is you cannot import any third party lists! We once allowed this and 99 out of 100 just abused it so that's gone forever. This means ALL leads need to opt-in and the number you can import at any one time is restricted. We find people wanting to import addresses are almost always getting them from free sources where many of the people do not realize their email addresses are being used in this way.

That's our only restriction and is in place to protect all the clients in our service as well as our business itself.

We are currently looking over our business model and will soon change not only our prices but also set subscriber limits by price - however this will not come into effect until September and will not affect current subscribers.

        The OTO link is

        RapidResponsebot Autoresponder System

        Hope this answers your questions.

        Regards
        Phil

I have SO had it with GetResponse and am weighing my options.

Does RapidResponsebot offer an API? If not, what would be a good option for an autoresponder that does offer an API?

      Thanks!

Hi tangosdad - No we don't have an API - at least not in the way I think you mean, if you let me know what usage needs you need it for I might be able to provide a bit more info.

      Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply. I'm used to calling an API in my PHP code and subscribing folks directly into the autoresponder. I currently use GetResponse (sigh...) and am looking for a replacement.

I need data in 2 separate databases - mine on my server and then of course the database in the autoresponder. But my database has the priority and the subscriber data gets inserted there first, then they get subscribed to the autoresponder. Both of these must occur on signup.

Can this be accomplished with your system?

      Thank you!

Hi - tangosdad we don't have an API interface - just the form codes so I guess we wouldn't suit your needs.. Wish we could.
and RedMatrix it is a web based autoresponder service running on my server.

A couple of people wanting to shift from getresponse asked me about importing big lists - well we aren't willing to do that - we are geared towards smaller marketers who want a good cheap service. If you have a 50000 person lists then I would pay the aweber fees, no service wants to import those kinds of numbers - and we prefer the organic build up of subscribers from your web forms.

Does anybody have any updates on their experience with RapidResponsebot?

I'm using another autoresponder in a similar price range and it's been a nightmare.

My biggest problem is subscribers who get sent into pending (never to be removed) because they never receive a confirmation notice. I understand that happens from time to time but this is like 60% of the time.

The other problem is crappy instructions and features that are inconsistent and that change on you.

I don't want to cross over from one buggy system to another one--so your experience with the service would be most appreciated. Thank you.
