The same Alex Becker that once said 'Never pay for another seo product again' after one of his launches.... and then went on to launch even more seo products.

Just ran into it.

Let me first say that I like the fact that KottonGrammar is part of it.

I think I saw the name Dan Anderson come by a few times in the past as well, no idea what to think of him.

Alex Becker himself, well, from an SEO point of view not much but guess he's one hell of a marketeer but that's not why you would buy his SEO guide obvious and it's really not that hard to setup a private network, there is plenty of free information available and you really don't need more then that.

Reason why I am doubting whether to buy it nor not:

- Kotton Grammar, I think I can learn a few things from him, especially as he sells SEO and I sell SEO as well so it could help me expand my business.

- Dan Anderson, I don't really know much about him but if it's true that he does $100k/month from affiliate sales and reveals his niches and such then it could be interesting for me as I'm slowly transitioning from client based SEO to ranking my own sites and sometimes i get a little bit tired of Amazon, I think there are better alternatives out there, just don't know what. Some say CJ pays out a lot better but I haven't seen them go above the 8 percent that Amazon pays me each month. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong niches.

Yes $1k is quite a lot of money, though I can easily afford it but still, I don't want to end up with some situation where I feel like I wasted my money so really have to think hard about this.

I guess it's clear I wouldn't even consider buying it if it was a product from Alex Becker alone (unless it was his whole marketing plan explained step by step lol as he does rock at that, like it or not) but I do appreciate very much that he cooperates with those other two lads.

If anyone can enlighten me a bit more about Dan Anderson it would be appreciated, when I Google his name I only see properties from Alex Becker show up so that looks a bit strange to me. If he is THE affiliate marketeer of 2014 I would expect his own site to show up on #1 and his Facebook profile at #2 or something like that, right?

Seems Dan Anderson is famous for some affiliate product he launched that is being sold at Clickbank, and seems he annoyed quite a few people by doing so as there is some talk on forums about it lol.

Back to Kotton Grammar, he mostly ranks local SEO, not ranking anywhere in top 200 for main keywords like SEO / SEO service / SEO services, and he heavily spammed his own website or maybe someone else with 100's of crappy social bookmarks (I analyzed his backlink profile some time ago already and obvious he has some hidden PBN behind it to drive rankings for his local SEO pages like SEO Houston and such).

So at second thought, no I won't buy it but I think it's solid enough for people a bit more fresh to this whole thing of making money online. The concepts are solid enough and I think I can still learn a few things from Kotton Grammar but as said, I'm more interested in affiliate marketing then landing new clients so probably I wouldn't do anything with the advice so that would be throwing money away for me.

Good finally made up my mind

What also set me off is a list of 50 niches for download. I receive an email with a download link, which takes me to the same page where i have to enter my email again and click the download button, and agian nothing downloads and again I receive that same email. Like a non stop loop. That's kinda lame.

This in spite of me not getting refund from the infamous SEO Zen product that he sold earlier.
Back to Source Phoenix.

I went thorough the webinar (good value without in your face selling), and read "reviews" from other websites. Thanks to a friend who purchased the product, I went through the Affiliate Blitz module and skimmed through rest of the topics.

If you are completely new, you may find some value in what Becker, Grammar, Anderson et al have to say. There is some "stuff" on -

With Affiliate module you will see how to get products that you can market (offervault.com is the chosen place for getting products). There are some pointers on foreign language keywords that are easier to rank
Client SEO talks about how to pitch for clients, and how to get "in the door" through SEO splitting. There are some pointers on PBNs
Methods to get some quick ROI and cash
There is a private group to exchange PR links (though I dispute how it is safer than any other place

The overall course got favourable reviews by a lot of marketers - and yes, that was because of the money.

All the information that you get here is rehashed, and has been said before. Even Becker has said this before on source-wave.com.

You will not learn anything substantially new if you are experienced. If you are new, you are well off reaching out to some other products, or learning everything yourself on the numerous Internet Marketing blogs out there.

What you say was kind of what I was afraid of already, same like what happened when Backlinko decided to sell an SEO guide for a similar price if I remember correctly. People who bought it later came out saying that it was kind of the same he already revealed in his blog posts, sometimes with a little twist here or there.

As with everything there is no magic and things will never be handed over on a silver platter and that would be impossible as it would quickly saturate when given (or sold) to a large number of people.

I did expect a little more from Kotton though about how he exactly ranked his local clients, they always make it sound in these sales letters like there's some magic involved but in the end it all comes down to the same thing again (eg citations and PBN links).

Greg Morrison is in this as well. That's worth the price right there. It's the value it would bring to what you do, not so much the price that should be focused on. Kelly Felix highly recommends this as well, yes he promoted it briefly, but I had the chance to talk to him in private and he gave me the run down, there's stuff in there that he didn't know and that's saying quite a bit.

Have *you* seen it? I don't know any of the people you are talking about - but what I saw in the course was straight forward, and what has already been said before.

Even Alex Becker himself has talked about the methods in his earlier course, and for free on his website.

If you are new, the course is going to help tremendously. If you have experience even going through other courses and SEO blogs (may not have made money - another matter altogether), then you have heard all this before and certainly not worth the price. But, to each his own.

Stole? He promoted it but I don't think he co-opted and called it his own? He wasn't the product creator on that one, and as I recall the guys behind rent a serp did get sued by SEMeasy...

Yeah it was found with 100% certainty that Alex got the copy from SEMeasy and just changed the name.... It was not even a good copy.... I know this 100% and at the time was fully involved with them..... I have no axe to grind......

SIGH yeah and I'm going through it. Some things he's talked about before but like I said he's got other experts doing parts of the course as well, like Greg, and Kotton Grammar. Just do a search on both those dudes. I know Greg personally as he started wth Kelly's course Bring the Fresh, and he did a million dollars in client SEO his first year. He also has his own SEO membership course (which he put together in stages AFTER he'd already had success). In short, both he and Kelly know what they're talking about. Kelly has said he wants Bring the Fresh to evolve into the kind of course Source Phoenix is. That's very high praise.

You know what's the problem with these guys? They only know HOW to sell but they have no clue how to deliver actual value. Only SALES matter, nothing else.

Lol and what a promo boy are you with your smooth talking and recommendations, never that I will listen to a single recommendation of you, EVER. You just ruined your own reputation.

Try it instead of assuming it sucks. They do have a money back guarantee. Or are we all so jaded that nothing's good enough. It's not just a course, you also get coaching. What you do with it, that's not their issue

LOL BTF works for a lot of folks. *shrugs* on here I've noticed it's changed from marketers to whiners. And people the love to personally attack. I've never recommended anything that I've first not used. And selling isn't a bad thing. But it's up to the buyer to see if it has value for them. Some folks on here find more value in Wealthy Affiliate, or Affiloblueprint, others like BTF or one of Becker's courses. Promo boy, nope. Like I said, I have known personally and worked with both Kelly and Greg. I find them knowledgeable and down to earth people. And if you don't believe what I've said about Greg, well go search .Reputation? really? hey I make no coin off of what I recommend. If you don't like how they do it, or what they teach that's totally cool. .But don't go slagging off people that do.

MLM, yeah no. I gave it a go with Amway...ugh...never again. Frankly any of these programs require work to understand the concepts and testing and tracking. They also require a bit of patience. The key to any of them is finding one that fits with the way you learn. And your ability to understand that this is not a sprint, but a marathon.
