    Niche finding software sounds like the biggest waste of money ever. It's really not hard to think of a niche. Everything's a niche. It's the keywords you need to look out for.

      Pretty sure that's what most "nice finding" software is. I remember using Micro Niche Finder years ago and if I'm not mistaken it's main appeal was being able to find and analyse long-tail keywords for a specified niche.

        Niche finding software is a marketing term describing to buyers what they could do with keywords they find. Some of these software products had algorithms to give a signal based on the competitiveness of the keywords found. But they were really front ends for what is now called the keyword planner. And if you didn't have an adwords account they didn't bring back many results.

      Exactly. I've never understood why people need a Niche finder software, unless they are confusing a keyword research software with a niche research software.

      Anyway, I use long tail pro for keyword research and it does a good job analyzing the keywords. It does not get any extra keywords other than the ones that are freely available from the Google keyword planner though, so if you want a software that'll just get you keywords in your niche, stick to the Google keyword planner, and save your money.

      As for finding niches, you can do that for free. Go to the popular affiliate marketplaces like Clickbank, amazon etc and go through the products there. Select a category you want to get into, browse through the products and choose a topic that you're interested in. Voila! You've found a niche.

    Thanks. What I'm looking for is a program that searches for the keyword and rates its competitiveness. Something like Niche Finder, Market Samurai and Long Tail Pro. Which is the best one out there?

    Personally, the Human Brain plus Google Keyword tool now inside adwords platform works pretty well.

    Does require work but is free and everyone generally has one.

    Results = unpredictable

    ...but then did Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson etc...use a keyword tool? DOH!

    Pick a niche. Start working.

    When you discover people requesting particular such and such...there is your buyer keyword and product.

    Niche marketing software does not solve any problems, HOWEVER, it can help. There is magic software. Any software you need is already public domain. The best software I have purchased AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND is 'nichespiration it is $7.95 = 'crazy stupid' value. It is still available (just Googled it). This software has made me at least xx,xxx in the last few months. It rocks. BUT LET ME REMIND ANYONE. Any software will not perform magic and this software is so under rated as it depends on your wit. I make over 6-figures in niche marketing every year. It's so easy (like shooting fish in a barrel). Deliver value in both content and product, know your traffic costs and it's lucrative beyond belief. And the opportunities are only getting better. Focus on evergreen niches and use sustainable traffic sources. There is no easier way to wealth then this. Obviously, the key here is email marketing. In IM - if you don't have this type of marketing down, well you simply will not make it in any niche. When I say make it I mean a 6-7 figure income. Hard work and fundamentals get you EVERYWHERE in this industry. It's not hard, but it requires work and is not overnight.
