    Personally, I think traffic exchanges are a waste of time.

    However, others swear by them.

    Adding good content is a good way to get traffic.

      I think surfing on traffic exchanges isn't all bad. It can be just an added pathway to building your lists. It doesn't have to be the only source.

    I wasted hours of time on traffic exchange program when first starting up. It's not a good source of traffic. It's similar to post to classfied ads websites.

    The only traffic exchange I've ever got some leads from (but no conversion) was Trafficswarm (as a Pro Member). I think TE are a waste of time. If you want to try it, it only makes sense with a short lead capture page. Don't ever try to promote your affiliate site.
