Hi

I am using filezilla for long time for FTP but i really need to try something new cool FTP program.Any suggestion warriors?I have windows 8.1 on my laptop.

  What other features would you like at a FTP client?
  I'm also using FileZilla and it does all what I need.
  Beside that, is free, is updated periodically and is lightweight.

FileZilla is where it's at. It's so simple. But if you're good with your computer skills, you can turn Internet Explorer into your own FTP module. Does the job nice, but still i prefer filezilla over all the rest.

  I have been using an addon for Firefox call FireFTP for years and have had no problems with it. I use to use a standalone, but after I discovered it, I only use FireFTP.

Personally, I don't see anything "cool" about an ftp client.

They all have pretty much the same set of features, and the user interface is similar in all of them.

For years I used WSFTP (a paid ftp client), but decided to try free options after I lost a hard drive on my machine and couldn't recover my registration key.

I tried all of the options suggested above, but...

I settled on using the FireFTP extension of the Firefox browser. The FTP client opens from the browser "tools" menu and runs as a separate tab in FF. I have it open all the time, as I use it to connect to my own development sites as well as to connect to my customers' servers in support situations.

"Cool"? I don't know... but it's different.

Filezila best Free FTP I use but take care of the passwords not to save it to save from hackers. If you want to go with Secure and payed option i prefer CuteFTP

CuteFTP is maybe the famous!
It provides a fast and convenient way to download and upload files from FTP servers
Use free version for 30 days

If you need a more advanced program try with WinSCP: you could rename files and folders, change properties of files, links and create new folders on remote servers

  I use Windows Explorer; there's a native FTP client built right in. Drag files back and forth without opening any software; easy, peasy.
  
  Admittedly, setting it up is a tad annoying, but you typically don't have to do that too often.

I used CuteFTP for many years for my job until I discovered FileZilla. CuteFTP worked pretty well but FileZilla gets the job done.

I still use LeechFTP. It's ancient, it's buggy but I love it, even the German error messages.

Why I like it - you can pause the queue, use several threads and it requires few system resources. I guess all the other programs do this though.
