It think it depends on what type of online business you are in. If drop shipping using eBay and Amazon is appealing to do and something you have time to implement into your business then yea I would do it.

I think you should go into the war room, click the search button, and type Ebay Amazon Dropship and see what you get. *cough* joe benjamin *cough*

If you don't find enough information there, follow the same idea in the Main Internet Marketing forum.

If at that point you don't have enough information, do a google search.

At this point, if you haven't figured it out... It may not be for you. Of course, you could still get that product and hope they have more of a clue.

    Teravel,

I appreciate you enjoyed my course, but I tell everyone
that if they want to take it to the next level (professional)
to get the corresponding system which is DS Domination.

That report came together as a result of DS Domination
and, from what I understand, they've improved a lot since
    I went a different direction.

I don't know anything about DSL, but I'd assume it's some
    what similar.

I don't believe you need both DSL and Domination, but one
or the other. Which ever you choose, stick to it and focus
    on it.

Frankly, I remember very little of the process since I stopped
doing it myself months ago. However, some people DID get
real results from the report itself "as is" and some recieved
results when I offered paid coaching (which I no longer do
because I don't do dropshipping anymore).

Again, I appreciate the support but I don't want to take away
from courses that go into greater detail, offer updated teachings
and actual customer support...because I learned it from the
    best

I've had some of the worst experiences with dropshipping.

    - So called "wholesale" prices
    - $30 for first class shipping (on products like 8-pack rechargeable batteries)
    - Low profit margins for me
    - Products that nobody wants
    - Headaches from searching their entire product database
    - $700 for PS4... when Walmart has it for like $400 - or Ebay for $300

Your ultimate answer will come if you choose to pursue it or not. Do you want to sell tangible products and do the dropshipping.... or do you want a digital product/service lifestyle?

      This. ^^^ Big time.

I've been on and off with eBay since 2000 and have searched high and low for a dropshipping company that worked. Never found one. Not even close. The margins just aren't there.

Do these comments mean I need to give back the $60 to $100K per year I have made from drop shipping since 2007? And no, I don't have an "exclusive deal with a manufacturer." If you are scared of competition, or simply believe that it can not be done, you are better off just giving up now.

Back to the OP's question. Its a fine product - as long as you are committed to making it work and take action on the information.

Personally, (and I'm biased here since I use it) I'd go with DS Domination. The training is good and it's a lot cheaper than $1000 to learn something thats most likely similar to what you can get with DSD for $120 if you upgrade to Elite.

    Hi Robert,

I just got a Google Alert about this thread and I see a lot of people have made an association with DSD.

If you want to buy my course, that's great. If not, that's OK too. I just wanted to let you know that my course is NOTHING like DSD.

We teach nothing about arbitrage or selling on eBay or Amazon. We do have an Amazon FBA video from our retreat where someone gave an hour long talk about how they're netting ~$20k/month via FBA, and I do include Amazon Product Ad information in or traffic module (because that is one of my highest converting sources of traffic).

If you want to see what's included in our members area, you can watch this video that I put together:

For everyone that has tried eCommerce/drop shipping and failed, here's a free video that I put together about how to drop ship profitably:

Again, I'd love to have you as a member if you decide to join.. but all I wanted to do in this post is clear up that we are NOT like DSD and we do not promote any of the same teachings that they do.

Thank you and best of luck with whatever path you choose!
    Anton

I know the creator of DSL (Anton) and have been through some of the course. My business partner has reviewed the entire course, start to finish.

I don't know anything about DSD and can't comment on that, but I can tell you that DSL is a soup-to-nuts walkthrough on exactly how to build and grow profitable dropshipping sites.

There's no guarantee that it will necessarily work for you, but Anton does lay it out in a very clear, concise way without the fluff.

No matter what you end up going with, stick to it. Put your head down, put in the hard hours, and FORCE it to work for you. The worst thing you can do is check out one course and half-ass it, check out another...then another.

100% agree with this... I get lots of emails and comments on my blog from people who are really trying to get started making money online.

They often tell me that they've tried everything and nothing works for them, then ask if my course is the answer...

I am totally honest with them - I say that there's a really good chance that most of the courses they have bought, and most of the businesses models they have studied will "work" if they put in the effort.

IMO success comes down to mastering one thing and doing it well. Your goal as a business owner should be to reach a point where you can outsource and automate. Then you have more time to start consuming and planning your next project. Until then, 20% of your time should be spent consuming relevant skills and 80% of your time should be spent doing heads-down work and mastering the skills needed for your new venture.

Drop shipping is a horrendous way to make a living.

I've sold a CRAPLOAD of stuff on Amazon - think 6 figures monthly towards the end - and the profit just isn't there. Your margins have to paper thin if you really want to compete with the big guys. You also have to work 28 hours a day.

I took a lot of hits on returns (restocking fees that I could never get waived no matter how big I got), suppliers that sell complete junk (no I didn't buy one of everything), and a whole other bunch of crap. I've worked with hundreds of dropshippers and had tens of thousands of products listed.

"Do these comments mean I need to give back the $60 to $100K per year I have made from drop shipping since 2007?"

I've been selling stuff online off and on since the mid nineties (yes, since Amazon) and I've had enough to last a lifetime (although I've never sold on eBay so at least I dodged that bullet). I walked away from it for good 5 or so years ago. At 60K-100K I'd be living in a refrigerator box in no time.

    Oh yeah,

That 2 hours thing did end and I'm going through it now. As a matter of fact I am nearly through the whole thing. I think a lot of the people commenting on how drop shipping sucks don't do drop shipping properly.

I just wanted to let all of you know that I am NO rookie to IM or selling stuff. I used to buy a lower budget smart phone and sell them all over the world to people that couldn't afford the good $6-700 ones. And hey, they were happy with them. I sold almost more than I could handle. (Didn't know about outsourcing)

And just so you know I would double my money every single time I ordered a case of phones. And I could sell basically as many as I wanted. I also did mobile website design where I still collect residual income monthly. I've done affiliate marketing, ppc, ppv, mobile ads, banner ads, and everything in between.

I put my head down and my nose to the grindstone and do well in almost every adventure I take on. I have a great offline business that allows me to afford to have success in these other adventures. After all, if you don't know this, it takes money to make money and that is a fact. Ok,,, ok, you CAN do it from nothing but in my opinion, this is where most have trouble and fail. I can afford the good stuff (courses, software, etc.)

For a while now I've been searching for more of the "offline/online" stuff or getting more into the tangible products rather than just selling info to people looking for info and getting it from people who only know how to sell info to people looking to buy info. This is what IM has become. People (mostly) that don't know sh*t about how to "Sell" something yet sell information about how to sell stuff.

So few people here on this forum are actually making money selling stuff that IS NOT some crappy info about "how to sell" on some stupid platform somewhere that they don't even use. I've been here for years now and it's just getting worse. (Oh, did I mention that I put out products too?)

So, I decided to get back to the basics and actually sell "real" stuff that people WANT and not b.s. "how to make money" courses and products for that. Even though I KNOW I can make money at it. I don't feel good about it. So, I'm out to do something I will feel good about doing. And this is why I want to sell products that have nothing to do with IM.

I DID buy Anton's course. I did pay $497. I will make this work. I've done it before. I can and will do it again. My offline biz makes me a lot of money and gives me a lot of time off. But, I AM an entrepreneur. It's in my blood, I guess. Building businesses is my hobby and a passion and my life. It's everything to me. It's all I do. It is my belief that with this thinking in my head that I can do anything. And I kinda do have success with just about everything.

Give me a system that you made work, show me what you are doing and I will do it too,,, I will do it better than you.
That is my goal. To be the best, to win, and win every time. I don't compete to be second best. Nobody cares about second place.

Like I said, I doubled my money before and will not accept anything less. You CAN find these numbers. I have. And don't fret my brethren,, I'll be here reporting my findings and successes. As well as failures (if any). I have some things I'll be testing, like Groupon and other deal sites, as well as Etsy. (Shhhhh,, don't tell nobody)

Anyways, it's late here in San Diego and my fiancee is getting annoyed at the tapping on the laptop keys. So good night.
Thanks, Anton, I'll be in touch,, and everyone else, keep focused and don't take or accept defeat. But also, realize when something don't work and change it.

We're all friends here. My site is down for some reason so don't go to it on my signature. Just keep posting here.

    See ya,

    Robert Cottom

Keep on truckin' (Ha,, that just sounds funny)

    p.s. It's my B-day today!

How long is a piece of string? But seriously, it depends on what you expect to get from it. Is it going to make you rich and independent overnight or have you kept your expectations in check?

WTF? Dude, I was asking if anyone has used this, knows it, and can give some advice. "how long is strig?" WTF? I don't even know how to take that.

I'm not in-experienced with marketing or selling, or drop shipping I've done it all for over 12 years. I was asking if anyone has used it and can offer some insight.

      Thank you, come again!
