What do you think the best WP video-sitemap plug-in is ... and why ... briefly & not too technically, please.

      I'm new to this and not terribly technical, so let me ask:

      I noticed the Video XML Sitemap Generator plugin has not been updated since July of 2013 - over 1 1/2 years ago - and that it has been downloaded only 8,700 times.

      Shouldn't a plug-in like this be updated more frequently .. and downloaded more ... to be considered all that reliable & (therefore) popular?

      I found Better WordPress Google XML Sitemaps, https://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-google-xml-sitemaps/
      which has been updated in the last few months and has been downloaded by over 500,000 people.

      But it seems too 'technical' for me: I'm not sure how to install it, let alone whether it generates video sitemaps automatically (following each video I embed in a post) or would I have to do it manually?

      And does (it generate videos sitemaps for just desktops or for mobile as well?

      Anyway, thanks for your suggestion. I guess if I can't find anything else - or can't figure out how to install (& use) the other one I found, Better WordPress Google XML Sitemaps, I'll go with yours & keep my fingers crossed.
