The big names are only human too. A $3k product will have a BIG affiliate commission for them and they simply can't resist it.
Unless he physically visits your house and stares at you until you take action... I can't see it being worth $3k

I get that, but there alot of email i subscribe that is not involve in internet marketing also start to promote it.

Big names promote it, if the product is no good it will hurt their reputation in the long run, and not all big names are stupid to jeopardy their list so easily.

I am only interested in content and is it relevant and workable, and not all of your sarcasm. If you have sarcasm about big names getting commission and nothing about product details, please refrain from replying, is for review only and not personal attack on other people business money making model.

In MY Opinion: I answered your question, if you don't like the answer too bad! Not a personal Attack!

Great, just buy it and let me know, As a bonus ask for a copy of his movie! lol I got three grand burning a hole in my pocket.

Have you seen all the faulty JVZoo products promoted recently by big Name marketers? Just read this on this forum. They have put their reputation on the line for a $10 commission so when someone can make $1000? What then!

            In MY Opinion:
This is what I see I have been buying crap for over 10+ years and I never complained but it is time people start to speak out!! Especially now as things are getting out of hand!

BTW I have bought IM products as high as $8500 an many $3000-$2000 and of course many lower priced WSO

            Lets move on...

By the way, sending an email talking about other people product is how internet marketing is done. As you have purchase so many product, you do get that simple principle right? Build a list, sending them email.

So yeah, let move on, clearly you have nothing intelligent to say.

We would like to think that people wouldn't promote something that was crap but that is not true at all. Almost all of these big marketing names promote stuff because they believe it will sell and not necessarily because it works. I have almost no faith that any internet marketer will tell you the truth regarding a product. I suggest you listen to the other people in this thread and don't spend that kind of money on an I.M. product. I can just about guarantee you that there is nothing that product that is ground breaking.

$3k is a ton of dough for me. He has great charisma on the videos and with no doubt from my perspective that helps a lot with his promotions.

I actually enjoy watching and listening to him, but 3k for a course is way too much for me unless the ROI is really just nuts.

I am one of those folks who actually applies and tests the methods from courses and software I buy. My best ROI yet still comes from Andrew Hanson's (now out dated) Forever Affiliate course. THAT....was 67 well spent bones in my opinion.

    3k...nah, I will pass. Thanks though! =)

OMG Machines by Mike Long and Greg Morrison gets my recommendation. That is, if you have $5000 laying around. But no one in their coaching does less than 5 figures monthly within their first 6 months, which is phenomenal. So i think that cost is completely justified.

That's purely with SEO, by the way. So their teachings can be used for whatever market/niche you desire.

I agree heavysm ! Mike and Greg are more than the "real deal". I made my first dollar from an SEO product Mike had 3 years ago. Genuine mentors and teachers with proven products that stand behind you 100% while your going through there Awesome training and even after if need be...unheard of !!!

Every time I send Mike an email he answers within the hour. Not some lame help desk. He and Greg have a community of proven 5-6 figure monthly earners with new ones coming in on a daily basis. And they all believe in helping each other, big time. A lot of generous and self-less individuals in there community.

Are you kidding me? If you're going to invest that much money, at least read the fine print before diving in and that guy definitely didn't read the "no refunds" disclaimer on the payment page.

The program is also updated and added to over time, so what that guy saw isn't the finished product. It takes about 3 - 6 months to get through the entire program, so there's zero chance he saw the entire course considering that the webinars go over each module in depth so students can answer questions and get their progress checked as they go through. New modules are also added to cover the spots that students have the most difficulty with.

What an idiotic example to bring up, seriously.

100% agreed. He should have made sure there was some kind of safety net in place before joining if he didn't know exactly what he was buying into. But that's beside the point. Mike Long's language in that exchange is unbelievable. Normal people do not act like that.

The professional response would have been something to the effect of "As we outlined in the marketing materials there are no refunds due to the nature of the course.... yada yada yada... I am confident that as the course progresses you will obtain the full value that you paid for and deserve... yada yada yada.... We hope that you will stick with it... yada yada yada."

But no, this guy instead chooses to go nuts.

It's frustration, and it makes complete sense. Mike doesn't put up with any crap as he's a very upfront and blunt guy. His program is also put together to keep tire kickers out, so it's incredibly frustrating to have a guy jump in (on a payment plan no less) and tell him he's not satisfied wanting a refund when that's not even an option to do.

Dude tried to get a free look at the program and Mike caught him. I have no sympathy for the guy.

The funny thing about situations like this is that they can't exist outside of the MMO info product industry. Only in this industry is there an attempt to justify that response.

Let's apply the attitude to a car dealer:
"All sales are final at this dealership. I will blacklist you. You will never buy a car from here ever again. In fact, you probably shouldn't even be driving cars. If you ever buy a car here again we will just keep your money."

Now lets try an ice cream truck:
"There are no refunds for ice cream. The best ice cream workers in the world made that. You are blacklisted from this truck. You should be chewing crushed ice anyway. Don't ever buy from this truck again. If you do, I'm taking your money and driving away."

Nah, that response is common for business coaches in general who realize that they've accidentally attracted a tire kicker into their programs. The better coaches lay these wannabe students out because it's a complete waste of time for both people.

I really think you just have it out for anyone who sells anything in the MMO market. It clouds your judgement completely.

                    Hey DubDubDubDot-

We all totally understand where you're coming from but the reality is that we can't compare this with the traditional "normal" businesses you cited- Who cares if we get "blacklisted" (or Black-Balled as we called it in the fraternity) from a car dealership, Ice Cream truck, or Subway- We'll just walk to the dealership or ice cream man down the street-

But I have seen people worked up into an absolute panic when they have been "barred entrance" to the Guru's Liar (whoops Lair I meant, Freudian slip?)

Go back and watch Frank Kern's enlightening presentation on how to create such panic in your prospects, in the bonus webinar that came with Pipeline Profits many years ago- It is clear that if you've done your marketing well, and you have true EXCLUSIVITY over your product, you can create mass panics by "Closing down the doors in 5-4-3-2-1- SORRY!!!! (But put your name on our waitlist in case any credit cards don't go through...)

In any case you make some great points, and yes, the IM/MMO industry is unlike any other- (I also believe that it has the greatest REFUND RATE of any industry, both in frequency, and immediacy lol)-

This is true because people who buy the systems think they can push a button and they will make money.

That is not their fault though because all these Clickbank "gurus" make their sales page seem that way.

This is why these products with a high price tag are different. Anik clearly states it is NOT a push button system. There is real value in systems like this as it teaches you how to build a business and a brand.

Do you really think a product selling for $47 on Clickbank will teach you how to make an online income so drastic it will help you quit your job? Of course you dont so why do people get bent out of shape when a product with real value has a high price tag.

When I was an operations manager for a real estate firm our top agents spent thousands of dollars to go to coaching seminars by the top coaches/agents in the USA.

We had 5 agents go to these seminars on a semi monthly basis spending close to $20,000 a year. All the other agents said they were "nuts, dumb, stupid and so on"

Well the agents spending that money on coaching are all making over $400,000 a year.

The other agents....most make about $40,000 a year......

Figure it out. Spend money on the coaching( $3,000) and be guided by one of the best or.....

Invest $0 in your business, expect big results and when you dont see results, come to a forum like this and bitch.

You people on here all worried about the refund will never succeed in Internet Marketing...IM is a business and in business you have expenses which include the tools and the training.

Where can you start a business and if things don't pan out you get your money back? Start a Subway then run it into the ground then ask the franchise for your money back...really?

He clearly states that he will give you a 30 day money back guarantee but he would rather help you succeed than give you your money back.

This is like any other business...Example

Lets say you go by a used car for $5,000 at Slippery Pete's Auto. The first few weeks the car is great...then it has issues. You go back to Slippery Pete's and instead of giving you your money back he will work on the car until it is fixed...

This is the same concept. He will work with you until you succeed....

But that does not matter to most people...they just already know they will fail so they are worried about how they can get their money back before they even start.

Have faith in yourselves people! Yes, it is a ton of money but when I first started IM I probably spent over $15,000 over the course of 3 years to finally make profits...I wish this system was around when I started.

I guarantee you will spend well over $3,000 in "other guides" and materials before you start to really make money in this business.....

I am not an affiliate of Anik's nor am I an employee of his but he has helped my succedd in my IM business and his coaching programs are very well taught and well worth the money...

    Best of Luck

I got caught up in all the hype and the buy it now before it closes.
The sales vids were pretty impressive, I gotta say.

But it was very basic course, mostly text and all the usual steps I'd seen a hundred times before. Nothing new or surprising.

There was some decent PLR and templates in it too, but that alone wasn't worth the entry fee. But it was in all the usual niches. I figured he'd spent all his money on the marketing and sales, and not so much on the actual content - you know, like a good marketer would do.

And once you've heard him tell that rags to riches back to rags and back to riches story a few different times, told in a few different ways, you begin to notice that it doesn't quite add up in the way he tells it each time.

Then there was a call where he was going to upsell on some great top level version of it.

The call was pretty impressive, again. And I was almost sold on it. He was only taking a limited number and asked who was in - asked people to write in the box, which I did, and he began calling out the names of all the people writing in. Although he didn't call out my name and message, which surprised me.

He was all, like, wow, there's already too many people, and he's reading them all out, a load of them, and he says - I don't want to disappoint anyone so I'm going to have to rethink the numbers so you can all get in.

There was a second call scheduled for a few hours later and, just to reassure myself before buying in, I grabbed the sales page link so I wouldn't lose it and thought I'd wait a few hours and see what happened on that call.

Second call sounded rather familiar, then he asked people to write in to say they wanted to join again - and guess what, he was quoting all the same names again. And saying how he was gonna have to rethink his numbers, etc...

That's right, the thing was recorded. I even wondered if the first call had been prerecorded too. At that point I realised he was a bit of a snake oil salesman. He was inauthentic, at least.

So I got a refund on the whole program. I lost confidence in him and the program's value. I would have kept it if it was cheaper.

To his/his team's credit, I got the refund no problem, so I guess you can always try and see what you think - but my opinion on him and his stuff is that there's a ton of hype in the sales message and same-old-same-old once you're in.

Not that there's anything wrong in that, but when you're paying top dollar, I think there should be some sign of original approach or strategy and not just a generic process, which really just comes down to how much money you want to spend on testing.

Because, at the end of it all, if you have a budget to test then the only reason to pay top dollar for a product is if it somehow saves at least some of that budget. Otherwise, you may as well find out how to do it yourself with a $10 WSO that gives you the outline without the gloss. With this guy, you pay a lot for gloss.

And $3k will get you 2.5 years' membership at STM or somewhere else which is real.

The way I'd look at it is this - don't think, should I spend $3k on this shiney object Anik is selling, instead you should think - hey, I clearly have $3k to spend (if you're thinking of spending it on him) so where is it best spent? On this product or on x, y, or z. Or is it better spent on traffic and testing, etc.

Marketers are good at persuading us to spend more on their products than many of us would consider spending on our businesses. And that's worth thinking about... What's your budget and where best to spend it.

No one, but no one, is going to sell a product which gives you a product, an offer, a funnel and a tried and tested traffic source that is guaranteed to convert. No one. The only way you can come close to that is one-on-one coaching - but even if you do that, you're gonna need a testing budget. Which brings us back to the beginning again.. What's your budget and were best to spend it.

    That's my penny's worth anyway.

(Hell, we all like good marketing don't we? But we don't have to pay to enjoy it!)

If you have another few grand apart from their $7000 tuition fee then it might be a good fit for you.

There's a lot of information in the program, from local SEO, affiliate marketing, video SEO, launch jacking etc etc It's a TON to take in, so it might take you a few weeks to get through everything.

But if that $7000 fee is steep for you, then forget it. It takes money and effort to put together what they teach you, but everything they teach works perfectly. I would say having a minimum of $3000 set aside to apply what the course teaches is best.

Professional SEO is not something to take lightly. You can make a lot of $$$ but it takes a while to learn, and even more time to implement. If you bought the course and took action it might take you 3 - 4 months to reach $3 - 5k in monthly income.
