Are all link cloakers the same?

What would you recommend for Cloaking links? Do they all work pretty much on the same principal?

    I really don't have an answer or opinion as I have questions also. Are cloaked links and redirects essentially the same thing?

    There's different applications of different types of things folks refer to as "cloaking." Making one URL go to another is as simple as a 301 redirect or meta refresh, 202-style clocking is a 301 and an onload script and a meta refresh in an occasionally successful attempt to change the referer, dynamic link cloaking is an effort to stop search engines from seeing links in your pages.

    They all operate on one of a few principles, but there's no "one cloak fits all," based on intent. Improving the aesthetics of a clickbank links is generally as simple as a 301 or the like, scrubbing out the referer is difficult.

      Thank you. I haven't dug in to the subject deeply but I wanted to see what types of link cloaking was available.
