Responsive Premium Wordpress Hosting Service (Trafficplanet is awful)

I'm currently hosting with TrafficPlanet and after several outages and very poor technical support I'm looking for a new hosting provider.

What do you guys recommend?

Looking for a premium hosting service - one that has:

- Competent on shore support,

- People I can talk to over the phone or pay hourly to fix something (Traffic Planet pretty much dumps all wordpress admin onto me - so it's always a hassle understanding if there's a problem with their specialized platform or some plugin etc..etc..)

- Excellent Speed & Response Times - I do PPC traffic and I need my landing page to respond quickly. It matters a lot so cheap hosts like Host Gator / Blue Host aren't good (although maybe I should look at VPS over there).

- Cost - $25 - $90 per month is my budget.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Vikram

Get a VPS at WiredTree or LiquidWeb. WiredTree is preferred because they'll upgrade your server for free every 2 years or so.

Make sure you get Pure SSD drives. LiteSpeed increases speed as well.

They both have US phone support that is always awesome.

    Hi Vikram,

It's a shame that you didn't fairly include the full facts of your experience with my Traffic Planet Hosting company when making the above statement.

    For example:

    1. We quickly informed you that your site had a number of malware infections and therefore would not be re-enabled until cleaned.

As a hosting provider, we must always consider the potential harm that can be done by malware on one site on other sites (owned by other people) on the same machine.

If another customer's infected site on your server had been re-enabled before cleaning and your site was then negatively affected, would you be happy with that? Unlikely.

    2. Though initial Sucuri scans showed that the site was clean, we could still see malware and provided that information for them to re-check.

That can happen from time to time with Sucuri but on the whole, they do a reasonable job.

    3. Your demand for a $200 refund was apparently for money spent with Sucuri, an outside company that we have no control over.

Is it fair that we refund you for money that you have spent with other companies on services connected with the operation of your website?

If I have misunderstood, let me know.

At every stage of your problems, my 24/7 support team were there to help you quickly and I am happy to publish the full transcripts of all your tickets and our replies to verify that.

While I do understand your frustration with having a site offline, keep in mind that there are many many factors that can disrupt a site's uptime, performance and speed and not all of those are necessarily the fault of the hosting company - though we work very hard to minimize or remove as many of those scenarios as possible.

It's that hard work that also earns us reviews like this:
