Hey warriors I have a website hosted on godaddy and as I am jumping into mobile ads I need a VPS host. So please advice what are the best and cheapest hosting providers.

Also my current website is this and when I transfer it to VPS would that hurt to website
Although it has not much ranking as of now but are there any other things that might get hurt by changing the host.

Best one in my opinion is:

    digitalocean.com!

I'm using that! It's super cheap.

    Cheers!

Yes, but Digital Ocean is $5 and you get your own virtual private server. How cool is that... I had godaddy and bluehost and 1&1 and they all sucked or were expensive...

there are many vps providers out there, i use futurehosting for example, i can moderately recommend them. What you need to take care when you pick your hosting is to get a vps that offers server management in case you're not familiar with linux, otherwise you'll have a hard time moving everything over, updating and doing maintenance things on your vps. Having it managed costs a little extra but means that when you need to do something you can just email support to do it for you.

Changing your web host to a good one will not harm your keyword ranking much. You need to be sure with your client that you have the minimum of downtime while transferring your domain.

If you can manage the server yourself, i would highly recommend Ramnode.com and or Prometeus.net for VPS hosting. Coming to your other question, yes.. changing hosting does affect SEO - personal experience.

We use BigScoots.com for our managed VPS and absolutely love their service and support.

More like having a VPS and server admin for one price. It isn't the cheapest, but with 10+ years experience and having used dozens of hosts, they are by far the best.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

What experience do you have with managing, maintaining & securing a server? Any? If not, I'd suggest a managed server.

VPS deals from A2hosting.com and QHoster.com, servers are stable and prices are competitive.
Uptime is high and network is fully-redundant.
Support is active around the clock.

I run my larger sites on a VPS from Hostgator. I've always been pleased with their service and responsiveness.

I run my smaller niche sites on Bluehost (shared hosting)
