Strategy For Complete Newbies, Or Seasoned Campaigners

So I was searching the web and came across this strategy which anyone with very very basic knowledge of SEO and building websites can implement.

Is it a good strategy? That is yet to be found out as I haven't tested it out.

Basically, you look for low ranking keywords in a specific niche, create a small website, get to number 1 on google, then rent that page out to someone in that niche. I have linked a video which explains it better than I could.

Just thought I would share with you all. What do you think about the strategy? Is it realistic? Personally if I was starting out and looking to make some money online I think this could be a simple yet effective way. But I'm sure some more experienced Warriors will indicate whether or not this is a profitable idea.

Here is the video
Let me know what you think.

*Please note I am not affiliated or have anything to do with the guy in the video. Just found it interesting, hence thought others on here would too!

Why would anyone want to rent a website that ranks for a few random low traffic keywords?

Now, if you want to get a site ranked for some high traffic "buying" terms, that may make more sense to someone deciding whether to rent the site or not.

But the keywords wouldn't be random as it would be related to a specific niche and business, which I would think would be a good thing because it is highly targeted and highly specific for that particular business.

I agree though the hardest part would be selling it to the business, but if they make big $$ from single sales, it could be profitable for them.

I do some SEO and all that stuff & I go for the Adelaide Crows. Fellow supporters hit me up, or anyone interested in SEO.
