Best VoIP phone service, other than Skype?

Already have one number with Skype, but need to add another number for my other business. Skype won't differentiate between the two numbers when I get an incoming call, what are some recommendations for a VoIP service? Would be fine with a local or a 1-800 number.

I used Vonage before but they suck. I use RingCentral now and I'd definitely recommend them

You can always open a new Skype account and overcome this problem

Callcentric all the way. Great prices and service. You'll need a VoIP modem to get it running, though.

I've been particularly impressed with Anveo. Cost is very low, and service is great. The free IVR is a huge plus.

I've been hearing about a service called Grasshopper for the past few weeks on my Satellite radio. I am still using Vonage but think there might be some better company's out there as well.

What I'm doing is leasing a dedicated voip phone number (voip.ms) that I run with a softphone on my laptop. You can pick any city you want in N. America for around $1.50 per month plus a small per minute charge. The only downside is you occasionally get calls directed towards the previous owner of the line as people sometimes bounce around between numbers.
