Dont use linkdelete
I tried using a company called linkdelete.com to remove spam pointing to my website. I had approximately 50,000 spam links pointing to me from approximately 150 domains across my 2 money websites.
Upon initial contact with Linkdelete I asked if they could Email the 150 domains direct with a list of all the spam links pointing to my website to have it removed. I told them I was happy to pay the $157 dollars their 2 domain package and that they didn't have to send 700 Emails as the package was advertised in compensation for the extra work of separating the links.
A guy named Tim from Linkdelete was extremely responsive initially and said this was fine.
I paid the money and received a list of "toxic" links to each of my domains from linkdelete.
I already had a list of the 150 domains and asked if they would would Email these domains the badlinks and that I didn't need this toxic list.
Linkdelete told me to just highlight 1 link from each domain and send it back to them which i did.
About 3 weeks later I receive their completion Email and the list of 150 links, i checked the links they sent back and yes some had been removed, however the other 3000 links or whatever that were pointing to me from that domain were all still there. Clearly linkdelete did not send the webmaster a list of bad links and I question whether linkdelete even contact them at all.
I complained to linkdelete, by this stage they were beginning to ignore me and becoming extremely unresponsive. Also even though I had cancelled their package, they were still billing my credit card and I had to dispute the charge with my bank.
After multiple Emails & complaining that I was entitled to 700 Emails not 150 ,they finally responded. I told them they did not do what was agreed upon and I even offered to sort through the bad links myself and send them individual files containing a list of badlinks from each domain. I also reminded them that this would make it a total of 300 Emails and still short of the 700 but I would be happy. Tim agreed to this.
I spent about 2 hours making the lists for linkdelete and Emailed them off, its been over a month now and Linkdelete have ignored me entirely both Via Email direct to Tim and on their contact page. There has been no evidence of any links been removed.
I believe Linkdelete are just a bunch of scam artists that offer no proof of actually doing the work, the fact that they make you wait a month would suggest to me that they most likely rely on the spam link dropping off its self and claiming they did it and Tim is nothing but a liar. I have had more success contacting webmasters myself direct and Emailing them a spread sheet.
