Hi,

Can anyone tell me the difference between these products.

I need a solid solution for conversion tracking and statistics.

I do mostly organic but also some minor PPC efforts.

Regards,
Patrik

I'm curious about this as well.

Anyone tried them both and can give a brief overview with pros and cons?

    This is John from GoTryTHIS.

StatsJunky looks awesome. It focuses mostly on pulling information from PPC stats and pulling information from affiliate networks into one place for tracking affiliate conversions. It is a windows program that costs $700 per year. Basically, it seems you put in your affiliate login information and it logs in every few hours and pulls down the clicks and sales from there.

GoTryTHIS uses link redirection on your own domains to give you control of your marketing through editing links, split-testing them, tagging and organizing them. It also provides real-time stats and trends for the marketing you do to drive traffic, across all your domains in one place. GoTryTHIS costs $29.95/month, which is about half the price of StatsJunky. While it is in beta we're offering it at only $14.95/month, a quarter of the price of StatsJunky.

StatsJunky and GoTryTHIS look like they will work very well together and there is almost no crossover between the two solutions.

Having said that, what StatsJunky does is our next most requested feature and we are exploring it internally now that we've got the multi-domain and live stats working quickly in version 2 beta. We've done a lot of work on the very robust infrastructure and once we're out of beta, adding new features like this will go fairly quickly. Join us now at half price and help us get there quicker. :-)

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you,
    John Reel

Thanks for the kind words John, I just would like to go into a little more detail on StatsJunky. What John said is true, we put all of your affiliate information into one spot so that you do not need to log into multiple sites, but we also offer Keyword tracking so that you know exactly which keyword converted for you and what it's EPC was among other stats.

We also include customizable expense/income so that you can add in things like hosting etc to see your true profit. We will also be adding PPV and CPV as well as content network tracking within the next month.

Within the next three months we will have a Mac version as well as a whole bag of goodies like API functionality with Adwords, Adcenter and Yahoo to enable you to upload your keywords directly through us instead of dealing with their editors and also receiving alerts when a campaign is losing you money. You can view your stats already through your mobile device, but we plan on expanding on this to give the phone app more functionality.

There is a lot to gain with using StatsJunky as is, but once we have the next gen version of StatsJunky released it will be mind blowing on what you can do and the help you receive from using our software.
