Anyone using Nanacast?

Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone is using Nanacast?

If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Thanks,

Craig

I haven't used it, but they offer a free trial, so why not see for yourself?

    Hi Craig.

From a purchaser of items sold through nanacast the one issue I'd had was trying to pay via Amex when purchasing.

I'd looked at it a few times and considered whether it was suitable for my needs but always used alternatives.

Here is a thread with comments from the past.http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...pros-cons.html

I use it. Here are some other marketers that use it...

    Jason Fladlien
    James Schramko
    Jim Cockrum
    Ben Adkins
    Omar Martin
    Justin Brooke
    Dennis Becker
    Rachel Rofe
    Kevin Rogers

I have some 5-7 figure clients I personally know that use it but I can't disclose their names.
There are many, many others quietly using it and making lots of money with it.

It's incredible hosted software created by Josh Anderson that provides marketers with one central place for all your products, memberships, physical fulfillment (Kunaki, Disk.com, Vervante) and payment processing. They're also one of the few platforms created specifically for internet marketers with digital products that require true One Click Upsells with credit cards or Stripe.

I use Nanacast. It is very effective for bringing different things together. It handles multiple currencies, multiple payment possibilities and can add any email system. The API is good to work with.

I have processed over $8,000,000 through it so far of my own sales and it is very reliable.

I can vouch for this as well.

We're currently using Nanacast to handle all front end sales of memberships along with one time offers.

Nanacast also sends any one time offer orders for DVD's to Vervante for us on autopilot. Sometimes we even delay these shipments for a few days while the refund period clears.

Once the transaction completes, Nanacast pushes all the customer information into HubSpot with a custom API we had built. HubSpot receives the data and tags the customers with everything inside the API call. We then use HubSpot to keep track of all student progress and create email/contact workflows similar to InfusionSoft/Ontraport.

Nanacast also send all the customer information to our Xenforo forum to add members to the appropriate forum on autopilot.

Wait...I'm not done! I forgot GoToWebinar. When someone buys access to a webinar, Nanacast automatically adds them to the webinar using the API as well. I figured out an easy API call for that and it's free here.

Overall, it's a very reliable platform and their support desk is nothing short of incredible despite not having a phone number. It's nice knowing my membership isn't down because of some screwy WordPress plugin conflict, software update or hosting problem.

Again....I'm biased. Extremely biased. If you're an intermediate to advanced marketer with a solid product and you're sick of fiddling with WordPress, Nanacast is a fantastic solution.

          Thanks for the info.

Someone told me that Nanacast sends customers to a Thank You Page instead of automatically logging them into Xenforo.

Is there a special script or API to have them login to Xenforo automatically?

          One last question...

What do you think is a better option?

Stripe or Merchant Plus for monthly recurring transactions.

I like the idea of owning my own Merchant Account vs Stripe or PayPal.

Merchant Plus seems to have lower fees as well.

Merchant Plus is $30 a month and 0.3% plus .30 cents per transaction.

Stripe has no monthly fee but 2.9% plus .30 cents per transaction.

If you have more than 61 recurring transactions at $20 a month, Merchant Plus is cheaper and you have control of your own Merchant Account.

          Thanks for the feedback.

The merchant account you choose is more based on what your customer's will use.

I run some ecommerce sites in Australia and use a combination of Eway and Paypal.

For some US stuff I run Eway, Stripe, Clickbank and Paypal.

In any market you need to show up with the method that the market trusts.

Don't worry so much about merchant fees particularly with Info based products...worry about reputation in your target market..

If they are happy with Authorize.net or Merchant Plus or Paypal or another...go with the most popular.

You can direct people anywhere you want upon purchase. Many aspects of Nanacast are fully customizable - everything from styles to checkout forms.

I use a Merchant facility for the Credit Cards + Paypal. The cart can offer people a choice.

With our custom API, we have them automatically added to the appropriate forum in Xenforo. Xenforo then emails them their username/password and login url within seconds of purchase. Our thank you page on Nanacast informs them about all the "behind the scenes" action and directs them towards their email to grab their login details. We've never had a problem with this approach.

Linked below are all the Thank You page settings that Nanacast provides.

I have a few issues with Nanacast.

    1. The video tutorials are about 7 years old.

You would expect the video training to be up to date for a product that is $97 a month.

    2. Nanacast checkout pages are not Mobile friendly and you have to hire a designer to create a mobile friendly checkout pages for you.

It's 2015 and the product is $97 a month. Why aren't the Checkout pages more attractive and mobile friendly?

    3. Digital Access Pass does everything Nanacast does and it is a one time fee of $167 and it has a Mobile Friendly shopping cart ready to go.

Digital Access Pass also has up to date video tutorials and very clear set up instructions. Although DAP looks to have a steep learning curve at least you don't have to hire someone to set it up for you.

My guess is people use Nanacast because they set it up years ago and it works, so why change.

Starting from scratch in 2015 I fail to see Nanacast as the best solution if I have to hire someone to set it up and also hire someone to design mobile friendly pages.

At $97 a month they need to bring Nanacast up to 2015 standards.

They should also have up to date video training and Mobile friendly checkout pages at a minimum.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see how Nanacast is a better choice economically then DAP.

    $97 a month vs $167 one time.

What does Nanacast do that is worth $97 a month that Digital Access Pass doesn't provide?

It appears you get more for your money with DAP than you do with Nanacast.

The Nanacast interface and back end hasn't changed much in the past 7 years, so why re-record them? And why are you using that as a measuring stick? The DAP videos show WordPress version 3.0 which was released on June 17, 2010 dating their videos at the 5 year mark. Should I apply the same measuring stick to their business? If the interface hasn't changed, why re-record when you can spend the time developing.

Digital Access Pass isn't a one-time fee. Look deeper. They charge $39.99/monthly for all their plugins or you can pay one-time with yearly $120 renewal fees for updates. And you will need updates. WordPress is changing all the time and payment processors are constantly changing APIs and breaking. BTW, that $167 version is pretty barebones for your comparison. The $297 version is a closer comparison...not that it really matters though.

You're right about mobile checkout pages. They don't have it and yes, you would need to hire a CSS designer to create your own template. So, in theory, you would need to pay around $100-$200 one-time to get a customized mobile-friendly checkout page with your logo, branding, etc. Then again, you'll probably need to do that anyways if you're running your own company and want a customized checkout experience like Jason's. I still can't believe that Jason's running a 7 figure business without mobile checkout pages.

Bottom line: Digital Access Pass will always be cheaper because you're hosting it on your site, not theirs. Nanacast is a hosted SaaS platform that is ready to go out of the box. If you can't see the advantage to SaaS vs WordPress yet, then definitely go with DAP. I saw the benefit after fighting with WordPress plugins for years and losing sale after sale because some minor WP update or plugin broke transaction processing on my sites. One time, my host updated the PHP version and overnight everything broke and I lost a lot of money. I do not miss those days.

I realize SaaS is not for everyone. If you don't have a business or funnel properly set up yet, it's hard to see past the $97/mth price point. I think you're a better fit for DAP. It works out very well for many people and the support is great on their side.

        You make some valid points.

Wordpress can be an issue with the constant updates.

Dap has recent videos for each change they make to Dap.

Also the fact that Dap makes improvements all the time, shows that they are listening to their customers input and are willing to make improvements based on customer requests.

Another solution could be hosting your sales page with Lead Pages and your shopping cart with Sam Cart taking Wordpress out of the transaction loop.

Both are mobile friendly and they both have the ability to split test sales pages and checkout pages.

Then you could always use the $167 version of DAP to lockdown Xenforo.

I guess I just expect people to refresh the look of their software and keep it up to date with what's happening today.

The way I see it, Nanacast is not making an effort to improve their product or provide more value with the changing times.

It's like Apple not updating their OS X for 7 years.

I just have an issue with paying $97 a month for a service when their are other services out there that are making it easier for their customers to use.

I may still end up using Nanacast because it works but I find it annoying that I have to hire someone to bring the software into 2015.

Not even close. We have been upgrading, expanding, improving, and adding to Nanacast continually for almost a decade. There is a reason that people trust us with their business automation.

You just got incredible reviews from guys who not only have made millions using our platform but who have integrated it with some of the most complex businesses with every platform you can imagine.

I understand your concerns (some of them are unfounded though) but I'll let the businesses we have helped catapult to the next level by providing one of the most robust and stable platforms on the market speak for themselves :-)

My advice to you is the same as you received from the guys above and it's the same advice you will get from our staff... take the system for a ride and put the petal to the medal or duct tape your business to a wordpress site. Only you can make the decision which will be right for your business model at this time. Jesus gave you some good insight in that regard.

My team is ready to assist because as Jesus Perez said:
their support desk is nothing short of incredible
We've been serving him and his clients for years kicking butt in the trenches for companies shoveling millions and tens of millions processing hundreds of thousands of transactions for individual clients.

I can say with confidence there is no more qualified feedback than from the two people who took the time to post on this thread for you... not just in terms of Nanacast but in terms of onine business in general. That free advice you received might be worth millions to you... just ask James Schramko about opportunity cost.

I don't hop in the WF but maybe a half a dozen times a year so hit up our support desk if you need further assistance and my team will be happy to assist.

    Thanks for your support!

    Alright,

I have tested out DAP and it's a great product but Jesus is right about Wordpress.

Woocommerce is also too dependent on Wordpress as well.

Too many plugins with a confusing checkout process.

I'm a member of Super Fast Business and I trust James Schramko's advice.

Great membership site BTW if you want real advice about how to make money with Internet marketing.

    I am going with Nanacast.

Pulling the trigger on it today.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

I sell both digital items and physical items.

Does Nanacast offer the ability to set shipping on physical items or have it calculated depending on where the buyer is located?

And also, does it integrate with Stripe?

I'm currently with SamCart, but they have been slow to add physical shipping which is beyond frustrating. So I'm looking for a better alternative.

    Thanks in advance

Also, how does it compare to something like Ultracart, which is much cheaper per month?

Nanacast integrates with Vervante and Kunaki to ship out your physical products in those systems. If you're selling a physical widget through any other means, Nanacast is not a good fit for you.

Yes, it integrates with Stripe. I'm currently using that integration.

As for Ultracart, I took a quick 5 second look and don't see any 1-Click Upsell features or Membership management over there. Nanacast provides both.

I am using it and it works...

It took me a little while to figure out how to customize the shopping cart but now it looks awesome.

A bit of a learning curve and not the best looking interface but powerful enough to handle most things.

So are you able to set it up so shipping is automatically calculated for buyers, or do you have to set up flat rate shipping?

Hey guys! Sorry if this post is slightly off topic, but this was the most relevant thread I could find on the WF to my question, and since the main man for Nanacast is active here, I thought it would be a good place for my questions.

I'm interested in promoting Nanacast offers as an affiliate, but I have some questions/concerns. These may be of value to Josh Anderson anyway, as an unbiased perspective from someone with fresh eyes.

        1) Is the affiliate program section really just a list of affiliate offers? Maybe I'm missing something, but I see no way to sort via any specific criteria (payout, category, epc, popularity/vendors, etc.). Standard stuff you see on other platforms. This is off-putting and potentially a killer, because playing hunt-and-peck for offers does not seem like a very sensible way of doing this, at least for me.

        2) A random sampling of landers from various affiliate offers shows pages that are copyrighted 2012, 2013... Now admittedly, this may not be as important to a consumer as it is to me. They may not notice at all, though I think we all know that online consumers get more sophisticated every day. My point is, it makes these offers look like they're old, out of date and possibly dead.

        3) Touching on both 1) and 2), as a potential affiliate, I can't tell if a vendor's program is still active or not. Maybe they are by virtue of the fact they're on the list. But I've seen (and run across) plenty of dead affiliate offers over the years. Sometimes dead wood doesn't get culled. Since there's no way to assess activity, there's no way for me to know. And the last thing I want to do is put in time and effort into promoting something only to find out I just wasted more of my life.

The above is not intended to slam Nanacast at all. It's just the stuff that popped into my mind when I was looking at affiliate programs as a potential promoter. And it's possible I didn't find something I was "supposed to" find (which would be a kind of indictment on the interface anyway, but I digress...). I may have my head entirely up my you-know-what. If so, I apologize in advance.

          Lets simplify it a little...

Always get in touch with a business owner before you start promoting them. Ask them about their affiliate terms, payout schedules, and other requirements. Don't promote anyone you have not communicated with.

This is a good rule of thumb regardless of what company you want to promote.

Each vendor in Nanacast manages their own affiliate program.

Other than that if you have any questions regarding the Nanacast system itself and how it works this is always the place to start: http://support.nanacast.com for the best answers.

That's all good advice for a new affiliate, which I'm not.

But it doesn't really address my questions/concerns. However, no answer is no for an answer. So, in that regard, you have answered my questions.

            Thanks anyway.

I should add, I tried to buy Sam Cart prior to signing up with Nanacast and I wasn't able to order Sam Cart from their shopping cart.

Even after I contacted support, I still wasn't able to purchase it.
