Anyone Using Instamate?

Has anyone bought this software and if so, is it:

Easy to operate?
Instagram TOS compliant?
Any bugs/issues that make it unworkable?

Would be interested to know.

    I just purchased the Luxury package and have to say i'm extremely disappointed

    The promo video is great but doesn't tell you what your not getting.

    1: You can only have 3 accounts and you can NEVER delete an account once added.
    2: You need to have your PC on 24 hours a day for the Post Scheduling to work ( or pay for a Windows VPN which would cost about $30/month
    3: There support is poor. If you read there forums I don't think i've seen one question answered and these are questions for support that are over 20 days old.. I didn't check anything past that.
    4: Same for the ticket system... no replies so far !!
    5: YOU DON"T get there training for the 6 figure income which they talk about in the promo video.. You have to pay an extra $37 for that... even though I paid for the Luxury package !!

    This service could be a lot better.. but it's lacking on so many levels.

    I would advice people to read what I've said and don't buy it. I will be asking for a refund.

    Just took a look at the sales page and even though it may work and do what it says there are a couple of red flags right there or NOT there so to say.

    No Terms of Service

    No Privacy Policy

    No Contact Information

      Thanks for the comments.

      I'm undecided whether or not to stick with it now that I've purchased (I got impatient after posting here and bought the VIP OTO) or to request a refund. I have yet to find the link on the membership site to download the software!

      The posts on the VIP group on FB raise even more red flags than those suggested in the above posts - things not working or Intagram accounts being closed following automatic uploads, long delay before members' queriies are addressed, etc, etc.

      I don't want to spend time learning something new only to find that I have to scrap the lot because the system has too many flaws to make it worthwhile. I'll probably wait a day or two more before deciding whether or not to throw in the towel. I want to give tech support the opportunity to catch up on fixing the various issues.

    Just a quick comment here - I did request a refund for the reasons listed above, and was told that they would not make any refund because it was past their posted 14 day refund period. I advised them that if they did not refund the purchases. that I would file a PayPal claim.

    My tickets were then marked closed/resolved by Instamate, so I then filed a claim with PayPal. Instamate has NOT responded to PayPal yet, but when I logged into my JVZoo account - it shows that they have refunded the purchases, although no funds have been received in either my PayPal account or my bank account. It has now been 3 days since the refunds appeared in my JVZoo account, so the refunds should have been received.

    Has anyone received a refund?

    You're lucky you got a response to your support ticket. If my experience is anything to go by, the vendor is seemingly operating a 'head in the sand' approach to customer relations.

    Strange. My JVZoo account also has 'Refunded' against the Instamate purchases - 29th March - but no such refund has reached my PayPal Account.

    Not sure why there's a delay but the whole experience has left a rather nasty taste in my mouth. I shall not be purchasing any other item from this particular vendor in future. In the meanwhile, I shall be pursuing this matter via PayPal.

    Here's my update: Although my JVZoo account shows refunded, no funds have been received, and the company claims that they did NOT initiate the refund at JVZoo. Really??? Since I did not - who did??? Obviously, the company did, and this is a very fraudulent action on their part, to say the least.

    So the net effect is a) no money b) no access to product, and c) no recourse other than PayPal dispute.

    And Jamie - not only did I get a response, I received several, but they were all from the same person, not the person that is supposedly behind the product. The response, however, was always nothing more than "It is past the 14 day refund period".

    So - whether it works or not, doesn't matter, if it is past their 14 day refund window. However, the credit card rules allow for disputes and refunds up to 180 days, and I am pursuing.

    At this point, it would appear that they are posting a refund to show JVZoo that they are working to keep the customers happy, when they are not actually following through with the refunds to the customers.

      I don't know exactly how JVZoo operates when it comes to vendor refunds but I finally got PayPal confirmation that refund had reached my PP account.

      I requested a refund from the vendor within four days of purchase after reading various posts by other purchasers whose Instagram accounts had been closed allegedly as a result of the auto-posting of images using Instamate. I have since discovered that auto-posting (ie, not direct from one's smart phone) is against Instagram's TOS.

      I had no response from anyone at Instamate to my several emails (support tickets/FB group posts, etc.)

      Before the 14-day guarantee period was up, I opened a dispute in PayPal and waited. Nothing happened for another 10 days.

      Checked my JVZoo customer account and saw that the vendor had marked my account as 'refunded' on 29th but 10 days later (7th April), no sign of funds in PP account.

      I opened JVZoo support ticket from my JVZoo account, yesterday afternoon, requesting an explanation for the long delay and requested an immediate refund of monies. Apart from an auto-acknowledgement of my JVZoo support ticket, no communication from anyone - vendor or JVZoo support.

      Miraculously, though, PayPal emailed me, today, to say that dispute closed as vendor had refunded fully. Checked my PP account and there were the expected refund transactions.

      It's going to take several days for the monies to be credited to my card. Unless something peculiar happens, I can consider the matter closed. However, it has made me a tad wary of buying anything from a vendor who uses JVZoo since the customer communication process from JVZoo leaves a lot to be desired.

      Melody - If you have not had a refund, you are entitled to the product and access to same until a refund is made. It's worth pursuing your claim with PayPal or, if you paid with CC, your credit card company.

      If you cannot get any joy, use the product as instructed and then within 60 days make the claim as per the vendor's 60-day double your money back guarantee policy. I can well understand if you shrink from this action - it's not something I'd have been happy or prepared to do given that I would not want my Instagram account(s) to close due to any possible violation of IG's TOS.

    How is it going about the refund? Strange if Jvzoo stated it has been refunded but not.

    Anyway I didn't purchase instamate because it allows only 3 acc, and i dont wanna risk my instagram acc.

    But i have almost 50 acc with a total of i think almost 400k followers, and now i think i need some kind of automation that is not against the instagram rule.

    Guys and Girls this has happen to me before but do not worry paypal will definately refund please do not forget to change your dispute to a claim other wise you will have wasted time.

    Thanks so much to everyone who commented on this thread. I was about to purchase and especially as Mike Long endorsed Instamate!! If Mike Long endorsed it, it was sold to me.

    But now, I'll definitely not bother with it or any product by the vendor in the future. Big thanks
