What are the best course's on article marketing. Preferably with video tutorials. One's with instruction on how best to write the articles and post them A to Z. From research to a posted article. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    These days article marketing has morphed into 'content marketing' and Brian Dean's site at backlinko.com is full of great free content on the topic (don't be put off by the SEO focus there).

    Back in the day, Ezinearticles.com was the king of the article marketing platforms but they were slammed by Google and last time I checked, their organic traffic never recovered.

      Thank you for the info. Do you know of any good training sites for content mktg? Something from noob to pro? A membership site with a member forum or group. I'm beginning to think that these are things from the past and no longer exist. Is a blog needed for content marketing?

      I don't need my hand held but I would like some basic instruction to get off on the right foot.

    Hi Alex,

    You don't necessarily need a blog for content marketing - your content could be for your own YouTube channel, podcast series etc. Blogs however can be very valuable for building your email list, which should be central to what you do.

    Backlinko.com has great resources (better than many paid ones) to get you going in the first place and my general advice is:

    1. Bring much more to your target niche than just the desire to make money. Be a leader, teacher, problem-solver, solutions provider, community creator, expert reviewer, content curator, interviewer of experts etc. In short, make an IMPACT, a positive impact on your niche.

    2. Try to create content about stuff you know or have just tested and researched. The Web is already over-saturated with 'content marketing' (and niche websites) lazily thrown together by people who obviously know nothing or very little about their 'content'. Be different, work more, deliver great stuff based on your experience/testing/research.

    3. Be patient and be the guy, to quote Tim Ferriss, who goes an inch-wide and a mile deep (into the niche knowledge) and NOT like most people who go an inch deep and a mile wide. Committed students of a niche can quickly become respected experts with the right approach.
