Markethealth or Sellhealth... Networks Shaving Leads?

Hey guys,

I have been searching lately for some decent health affiliate program.

Markethealth looks good and they have a lot of offers, but a lot of affiliates are complaining about them shaving their leads! plus their affiliate support is not good.

I don't know much about Sellhealth besides that they don't have much products worth promoting.

What do you think? Is there any other good alternatives?

Thanks

Very smart to do your homework before going all in.

You may also try MoreNiche they really go all out on helping their affiliates succeed with lots of free training. Been around since 1999.

I actually went there a minute ago, They offer some great marketing resources to help affiliates promote their stuff... However, they don't seem to have many offers!

I promote both men and women's beauty products so...

Yeah I'm part of many paid affiliate marketing forums and they're saying the same thing about it.

    Markethealth = Shave City.

Check out abovealloffers.com they usually have a bunch of health & beauty offers. However, I can't recall ever seeing health and beauty lead gen offers. Usually I look at finding and running free trials.

Shaving to a certain degree is pretty standard in the lead gen industry. If buyers are returning X% of the leads because there is something legitimately wrong with them. Then the advertiser is going to shave X% of the leads to make up for the bad ones, rather than returning the lead on the affiliate. This is reasonable and fair, as long as they are only making up for bad leads.

If a network is doing it, then that's a bunch of BS. I frequently will test the same exact offer across multiple networks to make sure this isn't happening.

If you really want to know for sure if there is any shaving going on by the advertiser or network. Copy the landing page and host it yourself and drive traffic to it. If it's more than a simple one page, then it gets a bit more complicated to do.

If your capable of generating volume, you can see if you can get the advertiser to let you host your own landing page and post the leads to their system. Obviously you need to be working directly with the advertiser rather than the network.

Also, by working directly with an advertiser you almost always get a higher payout and even if they won't let you host and post, but you can drive volume. Many times you can get them to provide a unique landing page just for you, so your not using the same one as everyone else.

Also, you want to be split test the same type of lead between multiple advertisers. Don't assume the lead gen offer you are running is the best converting. I have seen huge increases in conversion rates between one offer over another that are the exact same type.

Lastly, don't think that you can't develop your own lead gen offer and go out and get buyers for the leads. I have developed many offers. When I first got in the business there were no CPA/affiliate networks, at least that I knew of, so I had no choice but to go out and get buyers for the leads.

There are tons of companies that completely rely on buying leads to drive their sales. So don't let the idea of having to find buyers deter you from doing it. It's really not that hard to find them. The big thing is that you need to optimize the page and form to convert well and with a lot of traffic theses days coming from mobile devices, you need to optimize for it too.

Plus by developing your own offer, you get to monetize all the thank you traffic and if your sending your own traffic, then you are getting 100% of the profits. If you go to all the trouble of doing all this and your offer converts well, then you need to get affiliates. While your paying out a large percentage of the amount you get per lead to them, you get to keep 100% from monetizing the thank you page traffic and you get to keep a copy of all the leads they generate and you can monetize the data.

There are big affiliates that do lead generation. It's what I have been doing for 16+ years and everyone that I know, that know what they are doing, generates $10K-$100K+ per month in commissions and they are ALWAYS looking for offers that convert well. If you have an offer that converts really well, word will get around and they will come knocking on your door.

You really want to build the business slowly, as there are some risks. You really want to pay your affiliates weekly and on-time! You start paying late and you can get a bad reputation. So you want to make sure that you have the money set aside to cover it. Never extend any buyer more than a week of credit and always have them pay weekly. If your week is Monday-Sunday and they pay Wednesday and they don't pay. Are they going to stiff you or are they just late. If they stiff you, then you are out 10 days of leads. If your in the business long enough, it can happen. When it does happen, you still have to be able to pay the affiliates.

Don't let the fear of getting stiffed prevent you from doing it. I'd take developing my own lead gen offer over trying to develop my own IM/MMO offer any day. How many people create a program and it flops...happens all the time. The lead gen bix is huge and there are a couple simple tricks that you can do, even as a bigger to almost guarantee that your offer will be a winner. But I'm not going to say what that is, in an open forum.

After you create one offer, then create another and another and you can potentially make huge money!

There's much more to it, but that's the real basics. Anyway, something to consider.

I still remember that bitter taste of being cheated with questionable affiliate company. I've never seen my 1000+ USD which I earned through investing my own work and time.

It was almost 10 years ago since that happened, and never have I made the same mistake again. I've been promoting with reliable companies and networks only ever since and I have never missed a check!

Yea me too, I always look for good reputation before diving in, just like they say better safe than sorry.

Btw, what affiliate programs do you work with?

Totally welcome weblinks. I can remember the Aff. Mgrs even offering to help build your landing pages that really stood out. Plus any training you get there will still be in your arsenal for your other marketing endeavors.

Oh yea years ago I tapped into them every day you would see Affiliates of the Day Stats like over a thousand dollars! They would also share what product that affiliate was promoting.

They maintain decent variety of products but I am not sure if they still have the same product line that included stuff like Manhood Enhancer.

I decided to try Sellhealth! I talked with Markethealth's Marketing Manager about them shaving leads, and she said that small networks try to throw shit at them just to steal their affiliates... I wanted to continue talking with her about this, but she said she was on a honey moon Lol

For MoreNiche, I went to BHW, they looked decent plus some good reviews from real affiliates, however I Discovered that they some strange legal statement buried in their TOS, which states that If an affiliate is not active within a period of 12 months, then he can't withdraw his money!

For now, I will see what Sellhealth has to offer, till now I haven't encountered any bad reviews about them, besides the fact that they have very few offers.

I heard that they offer some super great marketing resources to affiliates that other networks don't, I'm talking about things that every Affiliate will ever need, stuff like... All types of Banners, Video courses, Guides, and even Niche sites with articles for you to spin, and when you make 2 sales in the first month, they give you a free professional website for FREE!

I'm quite surprised at all the negative reviews about market health. I've been getting paid from them for over 4 years without any problems. They are unprofessional when talking on the phone and even answering, but my payments have always been on time. I haven't tried sell health or More Niche yet. Will be looking into those.

I use sellhealth and they have great support. Never had an issue with my numbers working out so they are no shaving sales either.

They have good products to promote as well plus i like their sales pages better.
