Commission Blueprint 2.0

I've been reviewing the pre-release free reports from commission blueprint 2.0 about generating free traffic to make affiliate sales, it looks pretty good and excellent content for a free report, anyone else been checking this out?, almost certain I'm going to buy the product when it's released.

I'd be interested in discussing some details of the SEO strategy with others.
#internet marketing product reviews & ratings #blueprint #commission
  • In this report it says when building your site and linking to an internal page it is better to use the full URL such as

    http://www.sitename.com/page1.html

    rather than using

    /page1.html

as some web editors do by default, they claim this is better for SEO, any comments?, I've never heard this before

    • pity I never got a single response to this question!
  • Hi.

It's not about using only one keyword. But one of the main areas is SEO. And here you have a Main Keyword. And all your Category keywords are around the main keyword (LSI Concept)

Driving traffic via PPC is also part of the course, but in the current time you need a very good (seo optimized) site to get a good QS.

And therefore it makes sense to start with SEO first.

    Cheers
    Dan
  • I just read finished reading the report. I use a lot of the techniques myself, but I still managed to learn a few new things. I was actually pretty impressed by the quality of the content.

    • Diggy20 yea I have found that Tim Godfrey and Steve Clayton are all about over delivering even in their Free stuff. Hope that you can use some of those techniques to make extra money online.

  • I don't think affiliate links are allowed in posts here. Even masked bit.ly links.
  • Do existing CommissionBlueprint users get access to the new CB 2.0 for free?
  • Just to let you know...Commission Blueprint *monthly* members will enjoy a nice discount on CommBlue 2. And I can promise you, even at the full price, it's a bargain.

    • Hi Nursehoney,

Thank you for that video review of CB2, it was really helpful. Do you have any idea what the cost of the product will be when launched?
      • [1] reply
  • @Bukola - I do, but I'm really not at liberty to say. All I'll say is they could have charged much, much more, considering everything that's included. It really is an all-inclusive package.
  • PPC. Does it teach adword content network advertising? Is it just adwords and No Yahoo and MSN?

SEO. The SEO modules with Market Samurai sounds like what the training you can get for free at the Thirty Day Challenge 2009. How does it justify paying $500 (I think) for it?

Email coaching. Who's answering the email. Is it a typical customer service guy with zero internet marketing knowledge or a real expert with real results to show for, and can give highly useful advice to one who is starting from scratch and need advice on pursuing a certain niche and website design, copywriting and layout? How fast is the response time?

Case studies. Are there any? The big reason why most newbies fail are because the courses teach the theory but do not show the actual landing page they use to make money. The real landing pages they use often differ from what is taught in the course, and ironically, these subtle differences are the make or break factors differentiate a profitable, successful website, and a website that only loses money... Is ComBlue 2.0 just a bunch of theory?

Reharsh. Isn't Comblue 2.0 more like a reharsh of Comblueprint 1 + Nichblueprint (affiliate marketing version) + some Comblueprint Monthly Membership Content with all these fancy modules and graphics throw together? Or is the content really different?

Questionable Affiliate Tactics? I remember in Comblue 1, it teaches using storytelling to sell a product. Thing is the FTC is cracking down on fake blogs and fake product endorsements, but yet I still see a certain template inside the member's area that resembles a fake blog review. What gives?

I think I will like the keyword blueprint and article blueprint, but even these aren't able to justify buying if the main course does not deliver. Please can a real insider (perhaps Nurse Honey) answer these questions above. I'd not have posted such a lengthy post if I weren't genuinely interested. Please answer my questions as detailed as possible. Thanks.
  • Out of interest - i was considering buying comm blueprint 2.0. Is it likely to cover everything that is in comm blueprint 1 or would it be worth getting the first one first?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi druwainwright,

There's no need to get Commission Blueprint 1.0; Commission Blueprint 2.0 will cover everything that's in 1.0 and much, much more.

      Pierre.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks

  • Sorry to be so long in replying...as you might imagine, with launch day just days away, I've been even busier than normal. But I'll do my best to answer your questions.

"Does it teach adword content network advertising? Is it just adwords and No Yahoo and MSN?"

I don't *think* the content network is included, but I reserve the right to be wrong, on this and other points as well. I haven't had time to watch every single video (some are still in production and won't be uploaded until tomorrow), but I believe the focus is more on Adwords and the search network.

"The SEO modules with Market Samurai sounds like what the training you can get for free at the Thirty Day Challenge 2009. How does it justify paying $500 (I think) for it?"

Well, for one thing, you're getting far more than just the SEO modules for the cost of the course. In my opinion, the tools they've had developed just for their customers are worth more than what they're charging for the whole program. The 30 day challenge is a great program, especially for beginners. Most of the manuals and videos in Commission Blueprint 2 are actually labeled with "B" for beginner, "I' for intermediate marketers, and "E" for expert, so it serves all levels of experience, not just beginners.

"Who's answering the email. Is it a typical customer service guy with zero internet marketing knowledge or a real expert with real results to show for, and can give highly useful advice to one who is starting from scratch and need advice on pursuing a certain niche and website design, copywriting and layout? How fast is the response time?"

LOL!! I don't consider myself a "typical customer service guy"! No, the staff on the support desk, myself included, are all experienced marketers who have been working with Steve and Tim for a long time. Keep in mind, the support desk is there to support the products...not necessarily to teach you copywriting and web design. (and you don't need to know web design anyway, since awesome, tested templates are provided and can be individualized with the Site Blueprint software) Response time is generally less than 24 hours, and often much faster than that. If you need more individualized attention, you may want to consider buying from someone promoting CommBlue 2 who's offering a bonus of personal coaching. (winkwinknudgenudge)

    "Case studies. Are there any?"
    Yes.

"Is ComBlue 2.0 just a bunch of theory?" Absolutely not.

" Isn't Comblue 2.0 more like a reharsh of Comblueprint 1 + Nichblueprint (affiliate marketing version) + some Comblueprint Monthly Membership Content with all these fancy modules and graphics throw together? Or is the content really different?"

No. While of course there are overlapping areas, (since *nothing* is really *new* in Internet Marketing methods) this course contains far more than "fancy modules and graphics". As they've always done, Steve and Tim don't hold anything back, sharing exactly the same methods they've used to amass their fortunes. The original CommBlue was more focused on just PPC promotion of Clickbank products. NicheBlueprint was strictly about creating ecommerce sites. SEM Business Blueprint teaches you how to build and develop a Search Engine Marketing company for local businesses. So every product has had a specific area it addresses. CommBlue 2 is a more comprehensive program on all the different areas available for affiliate marketing.

"Questionable Affiliate Tactics? I remember in Comblue 1, it teaches using storytelling to sell a product. Thing is the FTC is cracking down on fake blogs and fake product endorsements, but yet I still see a certain template inside the member's area that resembles a fake blog review. What gives?"

Yes, and you can still use the template. It's what you put on it that the FTC has a problem with. And frankly, that's probably a discussion for another thread. I mean, it's all advertising, right? I fail to see how it's all that different from most commercials on TV and in magazines, or article writers who use pen names. Are they gonna crack down on the magazines for airbrushing all the models into perfection? Do you think that sweet older woman on TV *really* uses Depends? And those couples all excited about KY warming gel for him and her...are they really married to each other? I think if the FTC wants to "crack down" on something, they need to start with all the ad companies on Madison Avenue. But I digress.

"Do they go in depth in with regard to Market Samurai beyond the information that is available from the MS tutorials?"

Oh yes...and some of the MS videos included in CommBlue 2 were made especially for Steve and Tim by the Market Samurai creators, just for CB2.

"Can you give some insight as to why they use both MS as well as their own Keyword Blueprint app?"

I think I can. Steve and Tim both use Market Samurai, (as do I, along with many of their customers) so it's easy to understand why they would recommend it and show how to use it with the CommBlue 2 course. However, they're also sensitive to the fact that many people don't have MS, and may not be in a financial position to buy it. So our programmer took the essential elements needed for CommBlue 2 methods and developed Keyword Blueprint. Steve and Tim don't produce products that you have to go out and buy "other" tools in order to use their products. And with CB2, there are no upsells, no ongoing monthly fees and nothing else to buy.

I hope I've helped, and have given enough information that you're able to make an informed decision about whether or not Commission Blueprint 2 is a good fit for you. We understand every product is not for every person. But if affiliate marketing is your business model, or if you're struggling to make any real money with affiliate marketing, Commission Blueprint 2 may be just what you need to make THIS the year it happens...for you!

    • Im excited - role on the 9th!!! I might have missed this but how much is going to cost?
  • I've heard it's going to cost $500.
  • I hope it's cheaper than $500 on launch. Might wanna get this!
    • [1] reply
    • Price will be $497
  • Anything with Steve Clayton attached to it I'm buying. He's proven himself as a great teacher and honest guy. I have purchased all of their products and all of them have been the best products I've ever purchased. In fact, their two previous products are the only products I refer to consistently to this day. All the other stuff on my computer collects dust

    • I agree... the way this guy comes across is totally honest and forthright. He is def. a great teacher too. It seems his heart is in it, unlike other products where teaching is an afterthought.

Beung an affiliate marketer, I am really looking forward to implementing everything thats in Commission Blueprint 2.0.
  • This sounds great but at reportedly $500 but a bit too steep for a newbie like me..
    • [1] reply
    • $497 is too expensive?

Consider how much money you may save instead of purchasing the individual software:
$147 (KeywordBlueprint) (Market Samurai kind of software)
      $699.99 articlemarter (lifetime access) (ArticleBlueprint)
      $197 Xsitepro (SiteBlueprint)
      ... (other unknown software)
      -----
      $950+ (at a minium)
      ====

      $47 per month (3 way link equivalent's 3waylinkblueprint)
$19.97 per month (PPC split tester's)
      --------
      $67 per month
      ====

Of course, I don't mean that those software are equivalent, but it does the job, as per the salespage.

Honestly speaking, $497 for the tools involved, it's worth it. Of course if you are new, or already purchased a ton of other AM products, you may want to skip. The product will only be available for a limited time; of course that may very well be a scarcity tactic.

I am an affiliate for CB2.0 myself, but I am not going to throw in my affiliate link here. You may want to pick the best affiliate out there who gives out killing bonuses to make your $500 investment more worthwhile Don't let the bonus be a distraction to the main product offering.

The one thing I like about CB is that it does not have any upsells. Who doesn't hate seeing all the "OTOs" these days? The last product I've bought, made me click 3 times to refuse the OTO, OTO-Downsell, OTO-Recurring sell, before downloading the product. Kudos to CB 2.0 for being different.

CB2.0 is perhaps one of the very few affiliate marketing tools you should get if Affiliate Marketing is what you are after.
      • [1] reply
  • I would love to get it if I have the money but I haven't made a single cent online and I have bills to pay. Maybe next time
    • [1] reply
    • I was hoping to add some content to this thread, but after reading what the other Insiders have posted, all I can do is agree with them on the Content and Value of CB 2.0.

The Product Package is focused on making money with Affiliate Marketing as a hole, not just with PPC or Clickbank, although there is a very extensive section on PPC where Steve and Tim provide you with 3 of their new Software tools.

I actually just made a video of inside the Member's Area of CB 2.0 in HD and am waiting on it to finish processing before I post it later tonight on my sites.

The best part about this program is it has 3 different levels built into it. Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. This allows you to blow past a lot of material in which you might already be an expert, but I am here to tell you, even in the Beginner modules I found myself learning a few things and I think I am pretty seasoned at this.

If you are a Beginner and looking to get into Affiliate Marketing, this is really the only product you would have to buy. Maybe ever. If you are already an Expert Affiliate marketer, you might want it just for the software tools, but I would keep my eyes open if I were you to check out some of the hidden gems in this package. It is good stuff.

Here is my Review of the base package before they added around 10 more videos: Commission Blueprint 2 Review: Why Should I Care?

I will be posting the Member's Area video this evening. If you are interested in a top notch and highly targeted bonus package to go with it, check out the site in my Signature below.

Yes, I am a JV Partner, but the information I provide you is straight forward and 100% genuine.

  • I'm now $497 lighter and determined to make this product work for me.
  • It it true that the commission blueprint guys are letting some affiliates giveaway free copies of their previous products such as v1.0 and the SEM course, as a bonus?

    • I think that's true. I got an email from Mark Ling offering SEM Business Blueprint as one of this bonuses

    • Yes.

It's a Clickbank product --see if it shows up on the marketplace.

      Pierre.
    • It's private. They no longer are accepting affiliates.

But yes, it is through Clickbank.

The payout, I believe, is $250.

If one chooses to do nothing with it, yes, it will simply be another drain on one's bank account.

Why not? Maybe I missed it.....is there a rule somewhere that says you can't do both? Did I miss the memo that says businesses won't accept the money earned from promoting CB 2.0?

I can already tell this product is not for you. Until you get your mind right, I doubt any other product is either.
    • LOL. Black Hat Cat is right. CaribbeanDream, this product isn't for you!

As an aside, like CB 1.0, CB 2.0 is how to make money selling products as an affiliate. They expanded the traffic methods to more than PPC and the affiliate networks to more than Clickbank and then threw in a kitchensink of tools.

      Pierre.
    • I think it's a fair question, I have bought several clickbank XXXXX products only to find they are all about upsells and monthly subscriptions and most of the product turns out to be simple videos for newbies...
  • I bought it today mostly because I think Steve Clayton is in the top echelon of marketers in terms of credibility and the ability to teach what he knows. Plus, he seems honest to me. He doesn't just rely on super clever sales pages written by the types of copy writers that could sell ice to Eskimos.

With too many marketers (gurus), the B.S. alarm is ringing in our ears. Some times we don't even notice it because it rings so much. We're kinda used to it.

I believe the statistics show that typically after you buy any internet marketing (make money) product, the vast majority of buyers eventually will get stuck, lose confidence in the product, then lose all hope that they will actually make any money with the product and finally look for the next bright, shiny object to purchase so they can get that "buying high" once again.

I bought their Niche Blueprint product last Jan. and really liked the way he taught the info in the videos. I could understand it. Steve Clayton resonates with me when I watch him therefore I trust him more.

Plus they definitely support you as well or more likely BETTER that any other marketer/guru out there today.

I bought CB2 about 6 hours ago and have been going through it since. IMO if you can't make money following this program and with the support that's available it's probably time to hang it up.

Last thought: I love companies that OVER deliver!

Best of luck, now make it happen. Randy
  • I too think highly of Steve Clayton so I'm pretty sure it's a good product, most probably worth the $497.

I won't purchase it as I'm doing other things and I've got bills to pay.

P.S- All ethics a side I did buy this product.

If you have 500 dollars that you don't mind spending get this, nuff said.

I didn't learn a lot from the course but some of the things I did learn will make me far, far, more than the price of the course.

For example Steve gives you a pdf giving you a link building schedule to make sure Google doesn't get suspicious of your new site. I've been looking for something like that forever! And to me that 5 page PDF is worth well over $500.

    Module 6 rocks.

    • Zach..that's exactly what we were trying to do..Make this product appropriate for beginners through experts.

The goal was for even a seasoned veteran to get more than their money's worth by picking and choosing some nuggets... glad you felt you got yours.

And Module 6 is my Favorite (along with keyword blueprint)...I think it really allows for an SEO paradigm shift. Some people may have had the idea before...but actually implementing it like this...is the real value. :-)

  • With SEO there's really so much potential. It's the definition of auto-pilot income imo.

Especially when you use one of the techniques in Module 5. I actually hired a VA to do the task manually for one of my sites and didn't even realize you could set it up automatically.

Stuff like that really makes the course worth it.

I sent you a quick PM btw.

  • Stopped by to read about CB 2.0, also learned that I missed the free Ebook from them, but was blown away by what nursehoney wrote that everyone should post any where they can all over the net:

"I fail to see how it's all that different from most commercials on TV and in magazines, or article writers who use pen names. Are they gonna crack down on the magazines for airbrushing all the models into perfection? Do you think that sweet older woman on TV *really* uses Depends? • Ken - You just need to register in order to post.

Novac - At the end of the day, though...you still can't make false claims...and you still must disclose somewhere on the site that you make money from your recommendations. It's as simple as that...that's what the FTC is going after

You can use actors, pen names, etc. but the minute you say"I lost 8000 lbs. using this" it has to be true.
  • I don't know why CBP decided to use coloured backgrounds on all the pdf files, just drains my printer of ink!, horrible!, actually it seems to be a trend with a lot of products, but I thought these guys were smarter!
    • [1] reply

Not sure if this will work with the pdf or not, but I believe in your printer preferences you can tell your printer to NOT print the background color of a page AND you can also tell your printer to print in black ink only (in the case where the print on the page you are printing is white).

  • not sure there is a need to create scarcity for an information product that is already completed? i guess studies have proven that the tactic increases sales so...
  • There's a need to create scarcity if you want to limit the # of copies sold to that you can reasonably support...or at least support well! :-)

We take that pretty seriously...so that's why we do it....the biggest single reason anyway.
  • They really have the greatest freebie reports in the market. They really take their time and make the reports really valuable and so I think only because of this they got many more sales then if they just put up a crappy report just to have something to build their list. Pretty cool
  • Just wanted to update everyone that one of the sites I put up using an extra strategy from CB 2.0 has already made me over $1,000 in the last week. That is without spending any money PPC.

    • Keyword blueprint for me is worth double the cost of the package on it's own. That isn't just the usual marketing claptrap, I really mean it.
  • I have been comparing reults from keyword blueprint to those on MicroNicheFinder. The results are compeletely different.

In the keyword blueprint video for example, it says the keyword "bac level" has 177 daily searches and is an excellent keyword phrase to target for SEO.

MicroNichefinder says that "bac level" has 880 searches MONTHLY and is a very poor keyword to target with a SOC of 231.

I imagine the KWB video uses broad match in its search count results and that perhaps explains the discrepancy in search numbers. But the final evaluations are completely different.

From the video, keyword blueprint seems to be showing quite a few one word and 2 word phrases and recommending that they are good to target ??? This is clearly false information.

Unless I am missing something from those videos, the Keyword Blueprint video is misleading.

      To add to your confusion:
      Wordtracker - "bac level"
      KEI is 0%
      24 hours - 2
      Competing Sites - 41900
  • Well apollocreed...not sure why you'd jump to the conclusion that , just because they're different, Keyword blueprint is the one that's wrong!

    We use phrase match

Looking at google's own data, there is a phrase match monthly search volume of 5400 for "bac level"...which gives you about 177 searches per day.

There are only 41k competing pages for this term...uhm...in anyone's book...that's a pretty easy one to crack...not even bothering to look at anything else (which we do...take many things into consideration)

So..I say...keyword Blueprint is spot on with both it's volume AND the fact that it's an easy one to go after.

oh..and btw..market samurai correlates VERY nicely with keyword blueprint...so, I'd check your facts a bit more before posting, Mate...

You can easily check all this yourself manually...Have no clue where MicroNicheFinder is getting its data
    • [2] replies
    • I have both keyword blueprint and micro niche finder and love them both and just to put the record straight I tried the keyword "Bac level" in both MNF and KB and the results are identical as far as searches and competing pages. I have attached a screenshot of MNF so you can see.

Apollocreed it seems you were using exact match for your numbers and KB uses phrase so there is a discrepancy there. Also, MNF does not say it is a "very bad" keyword to go after it gives it an exclamation mark which suggests that it is very doable to me.

There really isn'y any major discrepancies between the two pieces of software. As for the wordpress numbers, well they are always in a world of their own in my opinion.
      • [1] reply
    • My post stated that the discrepancy is likely due to different types of keyword matching options used. That is not a mystery.

The mystery is what the Keyword Blueprint video says.

      The speakerin the video says:
"you probably do not even need to do a link campaign in Google. Just doing on page SEO will get you to the top 5 of Google; probably within about a week. With a Gold Star, it is that easy!"

The phrase "bac level" from the video has a Gold star next to it. So I assume this is one of those phrases that can easily be in the top 5 of Google without any links within a week.

For that term, the top 4 Google results have PageRanks of 5 and 6, and the 5th result has a PR of 3. Three of those those top ranking pages have over 1000 backlinks, 1 has 297 and the other 43.

There is NO WAY that such a term will rank in the top 5 of Google on a brand new domain without any backlinks. NEVER.

I know you guys mainly sell products these days, but take my feedback and adjust your video. That claim that you rank anything profitable without backlinks is very misleading.

Market Samurai just gives data and does not claim any ease for ranking anything. Your video on the other hand does make a claim.

I did not just test that one word, I tested several others. The Gold stars should not be Gold at all.

I think you either need to adjust the parameters of what constitutes a Gold Star or you need to change the wording in your video.

      OK Mate.

  • This is the biggest problem with these tools...people start spending all their time trying to "verify" and correlate etc. when, often, they end up comparing apples and oranges...and going off on a rant...

Better to just use one of the tools and try to make some money from the data you get!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Question: The Keyword Blueprint tool is included in the Comm. Blue. package -- yes?

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy -- any suggestions on which bonus package to go with? Or is that question "askable?"

    please pm me.

    Thanks!

    -- TW
  • Keyword Blueprint is included in Commission Blueprint 2.0, yes.

There have been a few messages in this thread re: bonuses. Sort of depends on what you already have...and are looking for etc.

    • STEVE......
My biggest stumbling block is selecting a niche to get started with. I ALWAYS get stuck getting started with ANY program because I stumble on finding a niche. I don't know why it is so hard for me. Will Commission Blueprint 2 be a good learning tool for me to get past this ridiculous problem? I am not new to learning IM. I'm just totally handicapped because I can't get beyond selecting a niche to start with so I am somewhat informed, but not getting anything accomplished. I need to see the whole picture first so I can see how all the pieces will fit together and when trying to select a niche, I can't seem to fill in the rest of the blanks as to what I am going to do with it to make money. Does that make sense?
    • Can you tell more about the bonuses/inhouse tools?
The salesletter just show an image without any usefull info
  • yeah..I think it makes sense...I think a tool like Keyword Blueprint can help immensely because it really lets you focus on where you might make some headway very quickly. You can just pop keyword phrases that you're interested in...into the tool...and see if you can get some cheap clicks and/or good SEO candidates.

Also, every project is a sales funnel and requires 3 pieces...traffic in the top, a site in the middle, and an offer to convert to...that pops sales out of the bottom of the funnel.

I talk a lot about this in CB 2.0 because it's how I see EVERY project.

You don't have to start with any of the three in particular...and you should always be on the look out for one of the three...so you can go back and find the other 2 that compliment it.

Examples...I'll be doing a Google search in my every day life and come across a good source of traffic. Look up American Express...LOTS of traffic...few ads....so...could you build a funnel around that? AWAYS be on the look out for pieces of a new sales funnel!

Maybe you're looking at the magazine rack in the bookstore (I do this ALL the time) and you come across an interesting niche magazine...go back to KWB and plug the term in...see what happens.

Maybe you come across a hot offer for the bottom of the funnel...think about more "lateral" type KW's you could use for the top of the funnel...example...a hot weight loss product...think about what else besides "lose weight" may be good traffic...how about "weight watchers" ? Those are people looking to lose weight.

OR..maybe you come across a great web site design, strategy, technique...could you use that in a funnel somewhere??

Usually..if you get a good lead on 1 or 2 of the components for a new sales funnel...the other(s) fall into place quickly.

Hope that makes a little sense!
  • Apollo...

"There is NO WAY that such a term will rank in the top 5 of Google on a brand new domain without any backlinks. NEVER."

I said one or two backlinks...and you're just wrong.

The fact is ...that with VERY low competition like bac level...the most important thing is your on page SEO...it carries HUGE weight...it is a rare circumstance where links are not the biggest factor.

You'll find...if you do the analysis..that NONE of the top 10 results are fully optimized (On page) for bac level.

    We've tested all this...have you?

I'm basing my advice and opinions on months of testing and analysis...dedicating several of our employees...if you've done the same and have different results...then let us know...but until then...let's not have you say definitive statements like that.

And...if you're not doing IM full time...and that's your goal...maybe spend some time trying this stuff out instead of saying how it doesn't work before you've even tested it...just a suggestion.

I greatly appreciate the feedback you have offered to this discussion. However, the following statement has me a bit confused. I am hoping you can clear this up for me.

In this statement you are saying that -- "the most important thing is your on page seo" -- correct? But you are also saying -- "it is a rare circumstance where links are not the biggest factor." In other words, most of the time links are the biggest factor.

I am confused as to what is more important. I'm sure that I am missing something in what you said. If you could help clarify I would appreciate it.

      Thanks Steve.

  • Hey wizzie...if you watch the video...we show some screenshots of the tools, gives you a bit of an idea.

    but.. there are

keyword blueprint - awesome for quickly pinpointing SEO and PPC targets

Offer evaluator - tool for determining if a PPC campaign for a particular offer will be profitable or not

Ad optimizer - a way to quickly see what split test ads are "winning"

Article blueprint - great for automated building of backlinks

Hippojaw - comprehensive tracking application and landing page split tester...also has speed ppc like campaign building (not the complete functionality of speed ppd, but the old 80/20 rule's worth)

Site Blueprint - really designed for beginners, but I still use it to just quickly throw sites up to test things without having to fire up Dreamweaver etc. insulates beginners from having to learn HTML and an editor.

Serpy - a nice little SERP position checker and tracker

And a few more other surprises!
  • does keyword blueprint only checkes the competition in quotes and if it's under 100k and the searchvolume is high enough it is automatically a "gold keyword"?

I just tested it and it gives me many gold keywords but when i check the 1st page competition then there are many high pr sites with many backlinks and also some .gov sites ....
  • no, it doesn't only check that...but...again...see that other post...there are times...rare times...when backlinks are NOT the only or most important things.

Check to see how highly optimized (on page) those sites are
  • oh, ok. sorry i didn't see that post before. i just tested the program again and it is really cool how fast this works even on my slow notebook.
  • Hey Capone...glad you're enjoying it.

It's decent speed for SEO...bogs down a bit for PPC as it's doing a LOT more analysis to make up for Google's AWFUL CPC estimates.

Just for kicks anybody who wants to see what I mean...use the external keyword tool and bid .50 for the phrase match term "car insurance" it'll tell you you can get position 4-6 and get clicks for .27

wow...not bad..considering the top spots are paying $15 or so.

Err...but then...tell it you want to bid only .10

Now it will tell you you can be in position 1-3 for .08 hmmm....

    Right.....

All of that is a fantasy.

Use KWB...and it will tell you that these terms are too expensive .. unless your commission is over $500 or more...

That is unless your Geico and are trying to spend 100 million to build a brand!

  • jon...I think that we can all agree that links are the most important thing for SEO...in general.

But...all I was saying , is that when there is VERY low number of competing pages, our experiments (and others' research show the same results btw) show that on page SEO can have a more immediate impact than links.

In other words...If you do the on page seo all correctly for that kw phrase...you can quickly rank and beat pages that have many more backlinks...as long as they're not totally on page optimized too.

    Hope that makes sense.

    • Steven

Not to be disrespectful by asking about another product, but other than the cost, how does Commission Blueprint 2 compare with the 30-Day Challenge program? I'm just trying to figure out which one would be better for me.

I need a program that will walk me through A to Z and teach me all the ins and outs of how to build and optimize sites, SEO, use social bk sites and how to sign up for them,....step by step beginner stuff that most programs skip over because they think you already know about all that stuff.

I already have Market Samurai and both 30DC and CB-2 seem to use it. 30DC teaches it in depth which is a plus for me, but I don't know if you do that in CB-2.

Thanks in advance for your input.
    • Steven:

Now I understand what you are saying. Thank you for the clarification.

      Jon
  • first of all ... 30 day challenge is AWESOME...and , for the price...ahem...free...uhh...I think we can all agree that the bang for buck factor is amazing. I love Ed Dale...and Dan Raine even more ... because he is an evil scientist. Seriously...their stuff is frickin' awesome.

Stone cold beginner...I'd start with 30 DC and then move on to CB 2.0. They're not anywhere close to being the same kind of thing.

30 DC is a high school education in Internet Marketing from the most prestigious high school around (can you tell I really love their stuff), but CB 2.0 is an ivy league MBA (in my opinion)...

We did make sure to truly cater to beginners...and we even have two different plans to get yourself started in our last module (1 for if you have money for adwords...and 1 for those that don't want to play that game yet...and want to focus on the "free" traffic)..but the 30DC is a great intro to CB 2.0 in my opinion.

    • Thanks for the honest reply Steven. Now I want them both :-)
    • But Steven -- how can one take that course of action (pardon the pun) if/when CB 2.0 will be closing down on Wed.? -- It will be closign down on Wed, -- yes?

      Please advise.

      Thanks

      -- TW
  • Well you can buy it now...and then you'll have it...

yes..it's closing down...however...if you get the 7 day trial...you'll can buy it right at the end of that...one last chance kind of thing.
  • I think their forum is rather revealing. You have a bunch of people that have drank the kool aid, back slapping each other but that's about it. I saw where one guy had spent $6k on adwords and had made back half of that and was pleased with the result. He looked at it as paying for his "education".

On the other hand you have a moderator with 2200+ posts dishing out encouragement and advice even though he admits he hasn't made a sale yet himself.

I am not really sure what to make of all of that. Overall it seems like a large group of newbie marketers grasping for hope that they can make it, and encouraging each other to do so. I don't see any models of real success in the forum at least.

I left with the impression that this thing has a nice shiny coat of paint on it, but inside it isn't much different that everything else that is out there. How am I wrong?
  • now this is truly why I don't come here.

    Unbelievable.

Because our mods and myself (3k posts in 1 year) try to answer everyone's questions and give support...and we have everyone from beginners to full time IM'ers as mods...to really connect with and help people..to work together and foster teamwork...this guy is ridiculing us?

Because the comments are largely positive and everyone seems happy...they drank the koolaid?

Wow...is it even remotely possible that we just have really satisfied customers?

Mitch...do you own any of our products...have you experienced our customer support yourself? If not...why in the world do you feel qualified to even post something like this...it simply amazes me.

No real successes...good grief man..there are threads all over the place ...of people making money...there's even a success story board...which I've posted a screenshot of so everyone can tell that you didn't even bother to look very hard at all...check out the titles...that will give you an idea of what's going on over there...oh...and that board doesn't even include all our products..head on over to the SEM business blueprint area...and people are signing up clients left and right.

    Again...simply .. amazes me...
  • How aren't you wrong?

Did you buy the product? Let me break it down a little.

    1) Pick a keyword

    2) Build an optimized site/blog

    3) Get content

    4) Build links

    5) Get money

There's nothing fancy or hard about it. It's simple. And the method has been around forever.

CB 2.0 is a great course. Not just for the info it gives you but for the tools also.

Do you need to buy an adwords course to figure out how to make money with adwords? No.

    But will it help? Yes.

Same applies here. For a newbie that knows nothing about SEO this will give him all the tools and training he needs, in one spot. And for the advanced the little e-books are worth their weight in gold. (Hint hint Module 5 and 6.)

I don't go to the forum much. But maybe none of the advanced to experts do. Maybe their happier doing their own thing.

This forum is 99% newbies. But there's a few big guys who constantly encourage and give advice. Same goes for their forum. Or any forum for that matter.

    Hope this helps,

    Zach

P.S- I'm not an affiliate nor do I know Steven or Tim personally.

P.P.S- This was in reply to Mitch, Steven just beat me to it.
  • FYi Mitch...just came across the first "I made my first sale" post of the day...at a profit I'd add..

    My First Sale!!!

Just brace yourself, because you can be certain there will be a lot of backslapping and people congratulating him...giving him encouragement...as annoyed as I know that will make you! :-)

    • Steven,
Here's how it is; I consider myself, (at 52) as someone with plenty of day to day experience dealing with internet, web 2.0, software of different sorts, and I am quite comfortable with it all. Professionally I am a sales executive, sales trainer and general marketer. Not specifically direct marketing or even internet marketing, but marketing/advertising in general.
Ok, and frankly, I do not have the kind of money that I could just keep buying all that stuff that is being offered out there by you or any other professional. And yes, I am probably a newbie, by all accounts, or close to it anyway, but I want to get into affiliate/internet marketing business.
So, my question is this, am I going to be happy with your product, will it put me on the right path? And do I really need to do it, or is it possible to find all that info by working the Google? I guess, what I am saying is this, I dont mind paying 500 bucks if it really works, but I just hate to get the stuff, and just to find out it does not work. Listen, I know, I put you in a spot, what can you possibly do other than support your product...but still, it is me who really needs the support, it's my hard earned money.
      • [1] reply
    • Hi Steve,

Is you product a step-by-step system and is it something I could eventually outsource? Also, you may have answered this before but can one succeed starting with SEO only?

Final question, with your course and software, will it still be valuable to have SeNuke or do your tools do the same things for SEO?

      If so, I'm sold!

      Thanks,
      Mike

PS Can I get a free seven day trial somewhere?
  • Mitch...one more thing and I'll let it go

That moderator you were talking about that hasn't made a sale...I saw the thread you were looking at...that was his post from 1 year ago...and he wasn't a moderator then.

Believe me...he's been doing quite well since then.

Not that being a hugely successful IM'er is a requirement for being a moderator, because again...I think people need all levels to relate to and interact with.

I just couldn't figure out who you're talking about.

Sorry for the multiple posts...I'm just very passionate about what we do...and I work VERY hard at it...so...to see some drive by post like that...I just have a real hard time letting it go.

    • steve, these threads of negative comments never end, you have great products and a great business - the people who are "drinking the kool aid" will be successful as long as they work smart..and take action! you said 5 posts ago it was your last post..lol
  • I know...I meant on a different topic...but still...I have issues letting anything go ! :-)

Mod Comment: People are allowed to post postive and negative reviews on any product. Mitch didn't make any comment about the creator just the product, and so he broke no rules.
  • Well Maxitman...I certainly think it's going to meet your requirements...and it's not information and tools you can get on the free market.

There is clearly some information there for beginners that you could find if you dug around and put it all together...but...this is much more efficient...and all the intermediate to advanced stuff, plus all the tools are not available anywhere else.

I think you'd be happy with the product and the support! You can see I'm pretty passionate about what we do :-)

  • After reading this thread, I'm compelled to comment.

In the last 2 years, I have bought approx. 8 or 9 IM products. Some better than others. I'm not a full time IM (yet) but that's my goal and I'm getting closer and closer.

As an off line self employed businessman for the last 16+ years, I've come across many negative bullies just like some who like to post here. Typically, they talk loud and prefer to intimidate their way through life. But no one respects them. I've never met any really successful people (successful in the long term) who are negative.

I'm confused as to why individuals like these bother to post their negativity other than to stir up something. They may actually think they are trying to help but in reality they are saying "look at me, I'm smarter than _ _ _ _.

The 2 best products I've purchased happen to be from Steve & Tim. Niche Blueprint & CB 2.0. They are both heads & shoulders above the masses IMO.

I could go on and on but anyone who has been around for awhile knows about their reputation. And reputation is HUGE especially online where anyone can say anything and quickly tarnish what takes years to develop.

These guys just plain come across as honest, they over deliver and will do anything they can help you succeed and achieve online success.

I've never met them but am I'm trying to build my business using their business philosophies.

    Best of luck! Randy

Clayton is a Class Act, anything that comes out of that camp is beyond top notch.

      We all know this people...

-Quit wasting time on the board reading negative crap.
-Quit talking yourself out of your success.
-Buy the course, take action, make money.
-If it doesn't work for you get a refund.
-By the time most people have spent reading this thread they could have had a campaign up and running.

  • Mitch...I hardly think that you really could've done an exhaustive study of over 47 THOUSAND posts to come to that scientific conclusion..it's ridiculous.

Moderators...I welcome reviews of the actual product...but this is just bad form...he's reviewing the forum for crying out loud...he doesn't have the product and is picking posts at random and painting broad brushes about our customers.

    Your call of course...

Again...I just wish people who had something of value to say about the product would post...positive and negative...

this hot air negativity from people who don't even have the material is just a bunch of garbage...and frankly, makes product developers not want to spend any time here at all.
  • and btw...if you want to see true success stories go here for pages of testimonials

    Commission Blueprint 2.0

We get hundreds of these! These are just the ones we were verified and decided to publish.

Another BTW for Mitch...I'll put my money where my mouth is...PM me and within 24 hours I'll give you a copy of CB 2.0...then you can speak intelligently about it. Whatever you really feel.

      J/K

Anyway, Mitch, those are the kinds of success stories you're going to see in forums. People who are killing it aren't going to spend time talking about it. For any number of reasons. Because they don't want to seem like they're bragging, they are busy killing it, etc.

The ones who make their first sale are busting at the seams. They just want to tell somebody. And they want the pat on the back that says 'good job, now keep going'. And as someone who just went from nothing to their first sale, they know that all the others on the forum who have yet to make their first sale need to hear exactly what their story tells. "It works". It's the nature of a forum like that.

  • I do not have a position against it. I have read many positive reviews. I simply stated that I was surprised not to find several big time success stories on their forum. That got blown out of proportion by Steve as he went on his semi-attack.

    You see, they are making some pretty strong claims. For example on the old CommBlue site;

    $125k+ in 30 days!

Over a half a million dollars in the first 7 months...

and then the next paragraph says, "Well, if results like that are consistent, then I want in! So I did what any reasonable person would do, and I checked out their forum. I didn't see people posting about results like that.

I am just tired of products being sold with pie in the sky hype. It may be a very sound product (I suspect that it is). Steve does a great job in his videos, so I assume he is a good teacher. I just wanted to substantiate a decision I was thinking of making, with some homework of my own. I came up empty handed.

If I am going to shell out five hundred bucks for a product then I expect it to deliver the goods. It needs to show me how to make the big bucks that it shows in it's sales letter. I don't need "hey I just made my first sale" type of stuff. I can get that for free everywhere.
  • again..just hit my link above for pages of verified testimonials
  • Two cent here and this is just my understanding, I am not taking a side

    1. Clayton, I respect you have stuck up for your product where regret to say, but a 1 in 100 make a full time income off your course, I consider successful, since it is tough. Now mostly because 99 of 100 will not sweat and take the actions even with a step by step plan,
    2. The customer support and efforts seem to be high quality
    3. I do not see a lot of people turning into superstars with just this material. I see it as a stepping stone, but am questioning weather is deliver to hit consistent 6 figure business.
    4. Different people have there own reason for wanting to buy it, a bonus, service, quality etc..

I am stating the obvious here, but that is just my 2 sense (not on any side)
  • I think the question we should all ask is - when we buy a "blueprint" do we follow EVERY STEP?? Do we treat it as a serious business, do we take focused ACTION?? If you follow every single step in the blueprint and fail, it would then be very easy for Steve or any product creator to take a look at what you did and explain fully why it did not result in success. I am as guilty as anybody in constantly chasing the shiny ball, when I reviewed what I have done so far, it was no shock that I have been unsuccessful. I kept very busy "not following" the exact blueprint..lol That will change!
  • Frankly if you are the sort of individual that feels a "blueprint" for your business needs to be followed exactly, in order to be successful, then you have no business being in business in the first place.

Running your own business is not a time for hand holding. If you need a step by step plan that you can paint by the numbers, then you should be in somebody's business incubator program. Yes you can learn from others and use their strategies, plans, ideas, but you had better be able to adapt on the fly at any given moment. To put it simply, you've got to be a thinker.
    • [2] replies
    • Mitch, then don't buy a product called "BLUEPRINT"!! I have run a very successful offline business so I fully understand what is required. This particular thread is a review of a product called "Commission Blueprint 2.0" - a product created to give a step by step "blueprint" to run a successful internet business. Of course one will adjust and tweek accordingly. What do you do for a living other than give negative reviews of a product you have never seen?? Just curious??

    • I don't disagree with some of your comments above but it's situation specific. It's not sensible for a budding nuclear fissionable isotopic reactor student to set up his own reactor after watching a 4 minute video and reading a 10 page PDF.

However, there's simpy no doubt that anybody looking to improve their knowledge in the area Steve is teaching will benefit from CB. There's nothing stopping anybody adapting on the fly or using only elements of the information to integrate with what they already know, nobody including the guys at CB are saying otherwise.

You can have a blueprint which helps you in business without removing your ability to think on your feet and use elements of that information in whatever way works for you. Let's not get overly tied up in semantics, would it make it easier if the product was called "Get your site listed , we know our ****"......and they removed the "blueprint" verbiage ?

Newbies get a powerhouse of content, all broken up nicely into short chunks and in a format they can follow and advanced folks can pick and choose from the content as it's been structured well to allow easy pickings..

This forum does get a bit tiresome sometimes with fanboys defending any and all actions of so called Guru types, but equally on some occasions, people just like a product and they say so.

I'm all for knocking crap products, and frankly I think this ban on condemming people who put out crap products is a step backwards, but CB* is really a product that actually shows people how to do what needs to be done, and there's actually not to many of those about.

Exits stage left to do some work., forums are such as waste of time
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • This will be stating the obvious. But maybe the obvious must be stated.

Let's take the keyword 'How to get taller'. Will you rank for that in under a week? Um no.

Will you rank for it in under a month. Probably not.

What CB 2.0 really teaches you is how to slowly build a strong foundation for your site. So obviously just a week after getting the course your sites won't be all hitting number 1. (If it's new.)

In a few months, once people get their sites ranking, i'm sure they'll be tons of success stories.

What do you want from this thread? Get the course and just refund it in the next 30 days if you don't like it.

I really don't see the problem.

I gave you the break down because you obviously don't know what your talking about. If you bought the course and hate it than come and tell everyone, i'm sure Steven wouldn't mind than.

    Zach

P.S- Here's some more food for thought. If I was ranking number 3 for a keyword and getting 50 visitors a day and than, thanks to CB2.0, ranked #1 and started getting 300 visitors and making 4 sales a day would I go to the forum and say: "Hey guys i'm making 4 sales a day and making xxx dollars from my website! Aren't I the greatest?"

The only people, imo, that actually post in that section of the forum are the same people who post in this forum saying "I made my first sale!!". You don't see any senior members going "Today I made $456.78, yay."
  • steven, just don't bother with these haters...
they are jealous of you because you actually helped thousands of people to make money and i'm sure you courses are awesome (i "only" got the free report you offered and it is full of high value and I'm sure many many people made money only because of this free report). If I would had the money I would buy all of your products but I think I'm ready when you start your next launch

There are always people like that. I think we can really be happy that you offer your methods to us. Because i think you have enough money and don't have to make these info products. please keep on creating these, even if there are some people who just don't get it.

    • Information doesn't make money but action does.. A simple truth that 99% of people don't follow. This is the case with Commission blueprint and any other information product out there.

The 1% that do put the info to good use WILL deserve their success.
      • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Yes...VERY step by step...in fact someone has started an experiment in the forum where they've given the material to a resource in the Philippines...and seeing how easy it is to outsource it completely.

Honestly...I have to confess to not knowing anything at all about SeNuke :-( I've just been too busy with my own stuff. I will say...that the SEO module is a game changer...in my opinion...and is VERY complete.

    • Hi Steve,

Thanks for the quick reply. That's a sign that you are very responsive (although I could tell from the previous posts).

I'm going to purchase the product. My plan is to go through the steps you outline and determine if I need to develop training for outsourcers or if I can just use that which is already provided.

I actually do the "offline gold" thing where I do Internet marketing services for offline businesses and don't have time to do much of the leg-work myself so I plan to outsource. (Did I see that you also have an "offline gold" course too?....)

I can't wait to check out the "Filipino" experiment in the forum!

      Thanks again Steve,
      Mike
  • Excellent Mike! Glad to have you on board.

We do have SEM business blueprint ... which is our "offline" product...

    See you in our forum!

    • Mitch,Why don't you take Steve up on his offer and then you can make a more informed decision instead of getting 'hot under the collar' about a product that you haven't tried? I purchased the Niche Blueprint programme and I'm really happy with the quality of the information and the support that comes with it.Steve and Tim are,in my experience, absolutely 100% plus and if you are COMMITTED then these guys are among the best that you can learn from.Regards,Mark.
    • Is it true that SEM Business Blueprint comes as a bonus when you purchase CB.2?
  • There were a couple of our largest JV partners that wrestled that bonus from us! Some are listed in this thread. This long thread!

    I can't play favorites :-)
  • Hi Steve, This is closing at midnight tonight, right? I'm on the fence. I'm currently doing a mixture of hard products and affiliate products. This is going to be a dumb question because I can guess the answer - I'll be able to adopt what I find in the training for hard products too right? Which time zone does your midnight deadline apply to?

I'm a last minute shopper and not afraid to admit it
  • The BIG problem here is that the term "blueprint" should NOT have been used for selling an IM product, blueprint infers very detailed and precise intructions with NO room for error and NO personal or human interpretation of the process or method whatsoever at all!

The fact is in this "blueprint" process there are many points where a personal human decision has to be made which will greatly effect the final outcome..., that NEVER happens in a real world blueprint such as one for manufacturing a piston for a car engine, where you always get exactly the same result no matter who follows the blueprint

I understand "blueprint" is a great sexy marketing word, and it obviously works well as a sales tool, but it simply leads to false expectations and is incorrectly used here, and in some other products

I don't know what else could be used, but the honest name would be something like "very good guide"

The other sexy marketing word that has been sold down the river and fooled many is all the "apprentice" programs... which are Nothing like a real world apprenticeship!!
  • Hey David...sorry I didn't see this last night. Totally adaptable for "hard products" absolutely.

We'll be closing sometime today. Most likely around Noon EDT. Trying to clean up a few things!

    Hope to see you there!

    • Hi Steve,

Ok, I've purchased. And one of the reasons why is because you were so responsive on this forum and because I visited your forum and I can see that you do spend a great deal of time posting and answering questions there. I am impressed by that. You do seem genuinely interested in helping others.
  • all these seems very revealing, but has anyone made money through the new tactics explained there or it is the were trying it out game?
before i put my money down i want to be such, from a user not a marketer.
    only being fair...

    • Anyone can make a good income using the tactics given by CB2.0 but unfortunately 99% of buyers will not put in the work to achieve it. The tactics are sound and they do work but you need to ask yourself, are you prepared to be in the 1%?

  • :-) Thanks for the vote of confidence David! I'll look for you on our forum too.

    • Hi Steve,

I signed up for the Free Trial of Keyword Blueprint and Offer Evaluator on the 15th and I decided to purchase Commission Blueprint 2.0. However, since it is a 7 day trial, will I have until the 21st to purchase it and if so then will you be sending a purchase link to my email address before the 7 day trial is up? I'm asking this because I read that you will be stopping sales of CB2.0 today and also I will need a few days to make the funds available on my credit card before I make the purchase.

The other thing is that I am hoping to purchase through one of your affiliates to get his bonus, but would purchasing through your affiliates be available after today as well?

Thanks and I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

      Regards,
      Peter
  • Peter

You will have 7 days to buy it and will receive a link at the end of the trial (and sooner!). Unfortunately, you won't be able to purchase through another affiliate. Sorry!

    Hope to see you there!
  • Maybe someone can answer this, I started this thread because of the quality of the free seo report from CBP2, it was actually quite close to being a "blueprint" to building a seo site, I was hoping for a lot more of the same...

Now that I have bought the product I find that the free report is better than the product!

The product seems to be a collection of videos, tools and pdf files sorted into modules, but not carefully connected in a 123 fashion as was the info in the free report, what is more of a puzzle is that there is some info in the free report that is not in the product, small details etc
    • [2] replies
    • Hi again Steve,

Sorry to bother you again but I just managed to make the funds available on my card and I'm ready to purchase now so can I use the same email address to purchase through your affiliate as I used to sign up for the free keyword Blueprint trial? Thanks.

      Peter
    • I think the videos and content in CB2 are fantastic.
In Module 10 there are two "plans". I wouldn't call them plans, I think they are overview
charts. Indeed I think what is missing is a "Blueprint" how to connect the dots. There has
been spent a lot of time in developing awesome software and videos, but they totally forgot
to connect all the stuff together and show in a step by step manner how to have success
with either a SEO plan (without spending money) and with a SEO & PPC plan (for those who
have some funds at start). Now you have a lot of videos and manuals but are totally lost
how to start, what to do and how to get started. There is also no information about this
in the forum. The guys in forum are very friendly, but it doesn't make sense every time
you have a question to go back to the forum. Steven is there a "Blueprint" planned to be
      released anytime soon?
  • sigh..ok Ken...well we can agree to disagree..

Of course the free report includes NONE of our tools and tons of the other content (you really didn't see the value in module 6 alone...or the tools?? )

There is TONS of stuff in there...that can be overwhelming at first..but it does all fit together ... if you give it a chance.

Happy to process a refund for you asap...simply request one.
    • [2] replies
    • you are wrong!, there are NO other pdf reports in the product that are of the same quality as the free report, that pull everything together in a logical order, thats all I'm saying
    • I usually stay out of negative conversations, but this time I just can't, because I can't believe how anyone can make such a negative statement about CB-2...seriously!!

Over time I have read and heard a ton of praise and success stories from people that purchased CB-1, so I thought that CB-2 would be as good or better. Well, I bought it and man oh man, do they deliver!! I am so impressed with the fantastic interface of this product and the information it delivers as well as the exceptional tools, it is by far better than anything I've ever purchased.

If I knew what was inside of Commission Blueprint 2.0 BEFORE I purchased, I would have gladly handed them $1,000 for it. It really IS that good. I was in StomperNet and several other programs so I do have something to compare CB-2 to. It is by far the best product I have purchased and I hope that people don't get side-tracked into negative thinking due to comments like (you know who you are).....sorry, no offense meant, but geez, are you sure you bought CB-2??? It is absolutely in a class of its own....simply FANTASTIC, first class, and I'm certain there will be MANY more success stories as a result of this product and Steve's awesome customer service!

      Thanks for letting me vent.
  • yes you can Peter...thanks...and glad to have you
  • well..like I said...not sure you can say I'm "wrong"...I think agree to disagree is just fine :-) You're, of course, entitled to your opinion as I am mine.

and again...I'd ask...have you really been able to try all the tools and get through all the materials this quickly? It would be a challenge for anyone...

I stand by the incredible value of the cost vs. what you get...the tools , by themselves, are worth it...if you use them.

But also...don't want to get into an argument...you're the customer...if you don't think it's worth the price to you..then it isn't...let us refund you right away!! Just say the word to support.

I'll tell them to be on the lookout for the refund request so we can get you sorted ASAP.
  • Code64..

    Glad you like the content.

My biggest concern is that people will get overwhelmed...that's what I say in the last module...it was constantly on my mind as we were developing this material. We erred on the side of simply including all our knowledge...this is obviously a good thing in general...but can have a downside.

We do have a plan (as you mentioned)...two of them...really geared for beginners that are broken out into spending money (adwords) and if you don't want to spend money.

It's assumed that intermediates to advanced will be able to use the strategies and tactics in the course in their own , already established, plans.

We are going back and doing a bit more expansion on the two provided plans...but...I think we're never going to be able to satisfy everyone.

This product tries to breakdown the process into a sales funnel...traffic, sites to convert, and offer picking/selection....those components are the same for every project we do...and that everyone does.

What we've done is give you several...very detailed and valuable strategies for each of these components...the down side of that .. is people can be overwhelmed with TOO many choices etc.

It's a balance for sure...and we'll continue to strive towards making that balance as good as we can.
  • Thanks profitgenerator I appreciate that.

I do think it's a fair criticism ... that there may simply be "too much" for certain levels of experience..

I was ALWAYS worried about people becoming lost. We sort of erred on the side of the beginner for CB 1 and for the more intermediate to advanced with CB 2...BUT

If you just hang in there...and perhaps do some extra credit research from free sources to give you a foundation...I am VERY proud of the content and what it can do for your business.
  • Well, I have had the course for about a week and since I'm retired I have all day to read and watch things, but I guess I'll spend more time reviewing the product and then write a full review since this is a product review thread...

One point I will make now it that it is claimed that you don't need to spend any more money, but to implement the "link juice" strategy in module 6 it is required that you subscribe to an external website for the key data, I notice that this not really mentioned, ok thats not such a big deal, about $30-40/month but I think it's a fair point to bring up!

Actually the course and content is quite good, it's a pity that Steve can't take 1 grain of criticism about his product!, didn't I say at the start that the free seo report was high quality?
  • yup...there are some costs out there for the optional advanced stuff....but on that one...if you check out the forum...there's a free way to do that.

That module is a pretty advanced one and for people that have some stuff up and running..I would ask a favor though...that you don't "reveal" much about that whole thing in your review...there's some proprietary stuff in there (not necessarily the concept itself but how we implement it) that I'd love to keep for the product owners only.

That would be most appreciated...and don't forget to give keyword blueprint a GOOD workout...I honestly can't imagine anyone NOT loving that...

thanks Ken...and I think we can turn you around! :-)
  • Steve,

Once again, I admire your methods of handling the heat here (That module would be worth the price for me)

    3 Questions

    1. I am gonna be away for 6 weeks. Is this something I can hand to my source employee and they follow?

    2. I consider myself to be someone knowledgeable (my best site gets 55K visitors). For some newer sites We have been doing a lot of PR, some Articles, Social bookmarking and social networking and has not gotten the results. Can your course help?

    3. I am not interested in PPC, what % of the course is based on that?

    Thanks in advance
  • Hey Mukul

    Thanks :-)

    1. There are portions of the course that are REALLY well geared for employees to follow and others that would depend on the employee...so tough to answer...but...we've had people who are already giving the content to their outsourcers...and saying...do this part here etc.

    2. Module 6 has your name on it...totally and completely. You will totally rethink your seo/traffic strategy.

    3. it's one module of 10, although modules 1 and 10 are very small...intro and conclusion kind of thing...so, let's say 1 of 8
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • So far I am very pleased with the information given in this course. I think Steve and company have done a great job putting CB2.0 together.

    Ben

  • Another question. Part of the attraction is an affiliate MF and Butterfly Marketing. I want to clarify. If you do the 7 day trial, you can or cannot get it from an affiliate?
  • Just get the 7 day trial from the aff. marketer you want to get credit for the sale and/or for the bonuses

If you click on their link today...you'll get the 7 day trial...if you buy after that...it will be credited to them.
    • [1] reply
    • Steve, is the 7 day trial just for some of the tools, or is it for the entire course? Thanks.

  • If I'm a beginner, can I start on CB 2.0 instead of going through CB 1.0 first? Or is it recommended to start from 1.0 first?
  • Well..they're very different C0rnelius.

CB 1.0 is easier to get your hands around...but CB 2.0 is MUCH bigger and has even more value for the money.

Head on over and get the free 7 day trial of the tools and the free report...see how it feels...if you kind of "get" that content...then go for CB 2.0, if not...then CB 1.0 may be a better starting point.

We're still letting the stragglers from the 7 day trial in...if you are unable to purchase CB 2.0 when you wish to though, just PM me here. I'll get you sorted.
    • [2] replies
    • I am interested in CB 2.0 for affiliate marketing. I have no experience with making websites so my primary interest in CB 2.0 is for the website templates. I have played around with Squidoo/Hubpages and Blogger some I am familiar with basic HTML/linking/etc.

Does anyone have any thoughts (or examples) of the template function within CB 2.0?
    • Thanks for the reply Claytons. Guess I should probably try to get my hands on CB 1.0 first then. Wouldn't want to be overwhelmed by the depth of 2.0
  • Duke...if all you're after is the templates...I wouldn't buy our course.

That represents a VERY small piece of it and you're better off spending the money elsewhere.
    • [1] reply
    • I am interested in much more than the templates. I have read your pdf, have played with the keyword research tool as part of the 7 day free trial and am impressed so far with your product and straight forward approach. This would be the first IM product I have purchased. I have been through Stomping the Search Engine 2.0 videos and am currently evaluating a trial version of Market Samurai (pretty robust product) and lots of other free content from other "gurus"

The templates are just very appealing to me be able to quickly put up professional, optimized websites. I am a CPA (as in accountant) and would rather spend my time doing the analytics of keyword research, tracking, writing content, etc. than building a website. And I trust that your templates are truly optimized, tested, etc.
  • Duke - Sent you a PM!
  • Claytons i heard cb 1.0 is more ppc.

I like PPC and i need to learn more but i do want to learn more SEO too.

how many module is dedicated to ppc?

What is the percentage of the course dedicated to SEO and PPC in this comm 2.0?
  • CB 1.0 is 100% Adwords (for the traffic piece)

CB 2.0 has pretty much all of CB 1.0's adwords stuff in it...plus some WAY better tools to help. And a good 35% of CB 2.0 is dedicated to SEO. It's only one of the modules...but it's the biggest one.
  • Thanks Claytons. Sound good to me I'm buying it.
  • Hey all - I just came across CB 2.0 last night & as a newbie I'm loving it. I downloaded the 7 day trial which seems to have limited function but maybe I've just got a glitch?! I've had Market Samurai for about a month and have gotten farther in my keyword/niche research in a few hours with KB than a month with MS. I'm wondering if anyone else uses both of these products in conjunction with each other.

I started looking into IM after joining "The Thirty Day Challenge" which is awesome but I'm looking to go a little faster...which is why CB 2.0 is sounding so great. Am I getting in over my head? I am smart chick with a lot of time and dedication, but no IM experience and no knowledge of HTML, etc.

Anyways, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks all!
  • Emily...so glad you're liking everything! The 7 day trial doesn't have limited functionality, so if you're having any issues , please submit a support ticket and we'll get you sorted!

    Thanks for being a customer

    • Steve

Is CB2.0 still open?. I've been lurking in this forum for a few months researching and looking at various IM products without actually buying anything.

Just a thought - this thread is probably the best ad for a product that I've ever seen with anyone who actually does their research ! I also checked out the CB forum and its a very honest and supportive atmosphere without any hype. When you launch CB3.0 you could just throw up a sales page with a link to this thread :-)

Anyway my background is as an SEM specialist selling to local businesses but that has become increasingly difficult to market due to the plethora of no-clue merchants failing to deliver and tarring us all with the same brush, so...I'm looking at a ground up training course for building an IM business. I have high hopes for yours.

      Thanks.
  • Jdean2009 thanks for the kind words!

  • After doing all the research, reading all the reviews and comparing with so many other products, CB2.0 by far wins most races that has been recommanded by both black and white hat IMs when comparing to other popular infomercial products.

I am only speaking from the perspective of a customer. To be real honest, one of the most important reasons I am purchasing CB2.0 tonight is because of Steven's credibility, his background as a successful businessman, and his honest personality that have caught my eyes. His presentation skills that includes tone of voice from the videos were professional. Just this one fact, following his footsteps will be no wrong. Professionalism has always been one of the main criterias I target when I shop for an IM product.

One random comment: You may want to think about owning the keyword "Steve Clayton" as well, since you have been referred by most as that instead of Steven Clayton. O well, just some random LOL(s).

Looking forward to build my presence in your own forum.

  • Hello Steve, sorry didnt notice your posts here.

Need to enroll as an affiliate for your CB2, been to Clickbank but not just finding it.

Please offer me help how to go about it.

    Gilbert
  • Hey Gilbert...our product is a little different...the first time Clickbank has ever done a "whitelist" of affiliates to promote a product...so you needed to be pre-approved to promote.

We did this for two reasons...

We had several affiliates in the past who promised all sorts of things to people if they'd buy through them and then never delivered. This makes us all look bad, and we wanted to protect our customers from it as best we could.

Also...we wanted to pay a higher commission than Clickbank normally allows, so this was a requirement from them...so they could have their security department check out these accounts.

Having said all that! I'll PM you with an email address where you can reach my partner Tim (who handles the affiliate side of the business) and we'll see what we can do.

    Thanks!
  • Ok, Steven,

Thanks, i got the email addy you sent and i've already emailed my to-be affiliate request.

I understand your point of view, too. However, 90% of my web copy efforts is majorly to promote CB2.0 cos i believe in delivering value & quality to my prospects, cos that's how friendship and trustship is built.

That said, i'd be expecting my approval from your team ASAP!

    Cheers,

    Gilbert

I've been reviewing the pre-release free reports from commission blueprint 2.0 about generating free traffic to make affiliate sales, it looks pretty good and excellent content for a free report, anyone else been checking this out?, almost certain I'm going to buy the product when it's released. I'd be interested in discussing some details of the SEO strategy with others.
