My top 3 cheapest autoresponders for email marketing

Hi,

I would like to share with you my top 3 cheapest email autoresponders. Each one of these autoresponders I used myself.

1) All In One Profits - Cost: $10 basic - $20 Pro

I am currently still using this autoresponder it is great for the price and offers a ton of features. However, what I do not like about it is there is no way to turn off its double - opt in feature. So if you are looking for an autoresponder that will allow you to have unlimited subscribers without the heavy price increase (Aweber, Mailchimp, Getresponse, etc.) than All In One Profits may be for you, but it is "ALWAYS" double opt-in so you are risking losing some leads.

2) MailChimp - Cost: Free Up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month

MailChimp still remains one of the best newbie friendly email autoresponder to date! If you are just starting off with Internet Marketing and you need an autoresponder that is reliable and cheap (when you are first starting out of course) look no further than MailChimp!

3) Listwire - Cost: Always Free

If you really have no money to spend and you absolutely need to get an autoresponder Listwire can be a great help, it has a whole list of features found in most popular "paid" autoresponders out there! However, beware Listwire will send out offers to your subscribers (this is how they are able to provide their services for free) if this does not bother you than I recommend giving Listwire a go.

So what are your top cheapest autoresponders for email marketing?

If you think Aweber and Getresponse have a "heavy price increase" then you'd better not look at Ontraport and Infusionsoft..

And why on earth would you want to turn off double opt-in? Do you want a spammy unresponsive list full of fake email addresses that will bounce, or do you want a list that is genuinely interested in what you have to offer?

And let's face it, if you're worried about finding the cheapest option for the most important part of your business, then you've got your priorities messed up.

It's the one area that you don't skimp on.

    Yokolo.. OP.. dude..

I've already asked you about this but you might have missed it?

I was on your sales page..

..you know the one in your sig.. that promises the price is gonna increase when the time runs out?

well.. the timer ran down to zero.. and the price didn't increase..

Do you recommend using false scarcity like this?

I'm on tenterhooks, listening with bated breath for you to fart out another dose of pungent marketing magic*

    *you may not quote me.

You're wasting your breath, son. The OP doesn't 'think' anything. Do you not recognize the 'paid to post' format?

You're wasting your breath, son. The OP won't even be back to check the responses in the thread, much less give you one.

What's the "*you may not quote me." thing? LOL

We're obviously dealing with a superior intellect here Steve which may lead to a misunderstanding and see him embrace my sarcasm as some kind of endorsement on his 'sales' copy.

And no, I didn't consider paid posts.. that's just kinda.. pathetic.

That is a terrible sales page. Did you really wait 24 hours to see if the price increased?

This isn't a paid to post thread. The OP is a sig spammer. This is an increasingly common thing that "coaches" are telling their "students"... "I know you don't know anything, but go to WF and post a useless thread and someone that knows even less than you will think you know something." Thus we have this.

He's probably a coach himself, LOL. I mean look at the headline "Learn How I Get Free Highly Targeted Traffic To My Business Using A Very Unique And Easy To Follow Traffic Building System!"

He probably sells his "unique idea" which is to have other people come post useless threads and spam their sig for "targeted traffic".

Come one. Give the OP some credit for taking his time to post something useful for this community rather than bashing him here. Everybody has the choice to decide what;s best for their business, and in this case the OP said that he has used all those 3 services himself.

And as for the timer, there could be some issue with the code or plugin

IMHO it's better to keep it off and clear the list ourselves every now and then, double opt-in is both annoying and can easily lead to some people not getting on that list in the end, for whatever reason.

I use a self hosted autoresponder that runs on VPS severs for my huge mailing list and i do single optin and its cheaper for me that aweber and getresponse et el. because of my email volume.(Both imported and opt-in subscribers)

But i keep my list clean by processing my bounce mails and blacklisting them from the mailing list.

Going is is not bad,so far as you are getting your results.

For the first option, the main question that I have, is their protocols good enough to actually make it to the inbox? Because, if I am not wrong, aweber, getresponse and mailchimp have a good reputation for hanging along with gmail and other mail server protocols. If an autoresponder is cheap but reaches the SPAM folder, then I am better off going with a slightly expensive option as long as it provides me value.

If you are making money, why not invest $19 a month in a service like Aweber?

I use it and I am happy cause I can make sure that my stuff is always under control by a company that I trust.

First, I don't believe cost should be your biggest problem with auto responder ( None of them are charging an outrages rates ), Aweber starting from like $19 bucks.

This being said, I would rather rank top 3 auto responders by features. I think MailChimps is good, while I am currently with Aweber, they are the biggest probably but definitely not the best as far as technology ad features go.

for anyone reading this.. don't use livewire... you will lose a lot of leads if your leads are getting spammed, the free cost is not worth losing your leads you worked so hard for.

Are there any self hosted auto responders that let you schedule emails to be sent at a specific date/time?

MailIt was launched recently, but the lack of this feature is it's main criticism.

The challenge with mailchimp is that they do not allow affiliate offers, so for those of us who are running any type of affiliate offers - we need to stay away.

I personally use and like aweber

Since you said that used MailChimp, then you know that this piece of information isn't very accurate. MailChimp's autoresponder is not included in their free plan. Your topic is autoresponders, isn't it?
