Why would you want to build a store?

I think the content review model works much better when it comes to conversions.

That's just my opinion of course. If you want to go store then I would say Fresh Store.

I agree with Jan roos. Just building a store won't do much for affiliate products.

It needs to have valuable content, comparisons, reviews about products for your visitors. Also, Amazon itself provides good tools to add affiliate links to your posts.

Jan is correct. Take a small selection of products drill down on them in your own words and become an authority on an aspect of the niche. An Amazon store builder isn't really necessary to do all that although a good review plugin can help with the layout.

No one will be interested, let alone Google, in visiting a site that mimics the exact same information they can find on the site you're referring to. Those days are long gone. Make the site about you and your expertise on the subject and not just the affiliate products. Store builders are great at adding thousands of products at one time, but all that does is create buyer confusion and blindness.

Look at it this way, if you can't add value to the products represented then there is no use getting involved trying to promote them. Yes, that does require work, but nothing worth anything is easy.

I have created quite a few micro-niche review sites over time, but I have also created several Amazon stores using various tools over the years. Within the last two years, I have been using Fresh Store Builder and the results have been really good. You do want to take the time to do the SEO right as well as create some quality content pages to help compliment the storefront, however.

Traction in the Google and Bing SERPS has been really good for most of the sites, but it depends on the niche of the product space you are trying to sell in. For example, I have a larger home decor store with seasonal products that seems to do very well and the commissions fluctuate, depending on the season.

If you are focused on creating a storefront, I would recommend Fresh Stored Builder.

what a waste of time and effort. FYI i have built over 50 automated amazon sites not one made any substantial money.

It's not a bad idea because everybody shops amazon. They have some of the best prices around for millions of products ranging from Diapers to luxury watches. They start you off at a very low 4% commission however. Some of the best products in the world are available for purchase. So you think if Amazon is so popular, why don't the people just click to Amazon directly? It's called impulse buying. Maybe a person accidentally came across an article or website that had a link to your Amazon store or specific product. You highlight a special price, have a funny vide, or special discount and you make the sale. Depending on how popular your product and site is you could be making some serious money because of the credibility of Amazon.

You start off at only 4% commission. The more you sell The higher your commission rate goes. You can highlight products and special deals of the day in order to make your site stand out.

I started my way at 4% and made it to 15% with a FREE website and free traffic methods. - No Joke

I have used about half the solutions you listed, and they all can work fine. It depends on what your criteria are and what your goals are.

For example, are you looking to be an authority site in a narrow niche, where your content will draw the traffic from Google? In that case, any nice blog format will do.

Or perhaps, you're looking for a quick way to set up many sites and use the product pages as landing pages for PPC or social media campaigns.

Or maybe you want to create a "boutique store" where a high-end design will help presell pricey items.

Give some thought to what your goals are and then you'll be in a better position to evaluate options

I have another tale of woe regarding the difficulties of purchasing from this guy - Ariel Sanders.

Basically, I purchased Streamstore 24/12/2017.
Immediately, I faced issues with broken download links so had to raise a support ticket straight away.

ok - So received some working download links and downloaded.
Then, despite the theme being easy to install, it would not work at all. It killed the brand new wordpress site each and every time.

In the end, after receiving some support, I managed to get the stream store theme working prior to getting the catalogues going.

Then, the streamstore would not work with the UK catalogue. The internal catalogue structure is in streamstore is different to the amazon.co.uk structure. Therefore, selecting the categories internal to streamstore mostly not work as, I think, the structure and categories were not the same as the amazon.co.uk structure.

That the amazon api was able to be accessed was confirmed by the fact that the US catalogue was able to be loaded. But, I do not sell to the US only the UK. So, having the US catalogue working is pointless to me.

I made it clear form the outset that I had to test that streamstore worked properly in development before putting it into production. Nevertheless, full outbound Internet access is available for the development box. There is no question that the configuration and access to the api is correct and working.

I wasted three and a half days trying to get this streamstore theme working. The support was frustrating as I had to repeat the same thing time and time again. I was requested for confirmation, so, I emailed text confirmation, screenshot confirmation several times so as to be sure that we could get over that part of the obstacle.

The situation remains that streamstore does not work with the uk site amazon.co.uk. I am not getting a lot of help from Ariel Sanders and he simply will not respond positively to my request for a full refund despite his blurb stating a no-quibble refund within 30 days.

This, despite the fact, that I have wasted three and a half days trying to get this thing going. Again, the blurb states that it is easy to install. As an experienced website dev, I can state that this was not the case in my situation.

So, I am off now to raise a paypal case and also awareness for people to be wary when they purchase from Ariel Sanders.

Not happy with this purchase at all.

I have to agree with others and say the review site route is the way to go. My advice would be to head over to warrior plus and look up erica stone a.k.a. sojourn and look into her product extreme review.

Although maybe some cart like functionality could make things easier for your visitor's something like easyazon.

Is it too late to chime in on this thread? I have heard good stuff about AZON PROFIT BUILDER Ankur Shukla's product. Also I have seen ALTERZON by Ben Murray which looks quite good.

Just populating a site with amazon products won't work (remember Astores?).

1. Pick a niche you're passionate about (i know it sounds like a cliche, but if you don't you'll loose interest and will be wasting your time)
2. Pick a theme (I use Flatsome cause i had already bought it, and you can make it look like any site).
3. I use Prosociate (I like the price autoupdate feature) to import your Amazon products, but re-write the product descriptions!!!!
4. Build your AUTHORITY site! This means you need to post articles (don't scrap!), video's and make it the goto site for your particular niche.
5. Create you're own product (eBook) to offset the Amazon products. This adds legitimacy to your site, as well as a second income.
6. STICK WITH IT!! it may take you awhile to make cash, but you have to let it simmer for awhile. In the meantime keep posting articles.

There are other ways to add monetize, but this would be a good start. Dropshipping is even better yet if you can get good dropshippers to work with.
