Clesto: Really Simple CMS ! Seems to be true :-)

Hi Warriors,

In my quest for a better CMS ( I love Wordpress though ), I stumbled upon this: Clesto: a Really Simple CMS

I spent some time out on the site and found it to be decent enough. The simplicity of the templates is what probably is the most striking feature. And it tops with SEO features and the flexibility part is awesome too.

Any more opinions?

    Thanks for passing by.

    You are a genius. You know what? Humble attitude stands out from the crowd and that's what Clesto CMS system is according to me.

    Site creation is a breeze with Clesto> You just wait and watch, you'd see a steady gowth in Clesto users and once anyone starts using it, wouldn't ever look back or in front for any other site building platform.

    I just added a few templates into my system and they all look outstanding.

    I was really intrigued about using this for building adsense minisites until I saw the price - $90 per site! Yikes! That might be an okay price for unlimited use, but not per site.

    Hello Linda and thanks for feedback. Perhaps you didn't see that it is free? Just download here.

    The paid version for $90 just have some extra features and no need to give credit to Clesto in the footer. But that is nothing that is necessary to for example building adsense minisites.

    Jim, I did look at the free version, but it doesn't have an rss feed, which I feel is really important. I can use Wordpress for free and have a good CMS with an rss feed, plus my choice of tons of plugins. Or I could buy XSitePro for a couple hundred dollars and also have a nice CMS with an rss feed and use it for as many sites as I want. Like I mentioned above, this looks like a good product, and I love its simplicity. But you need to look at your pricing structure if you want to make a lot of sales. It would cost $900 for just 10 sites, $1800 for 20. For that price, I'm sure I could find someone at Elance who could build me something similar.

    I really don't see any need for any RSS feed for such a semi-static small web site. RSS is more meant for blogs and news related web sites. The paid version also does not have it. However it would not be that difficult for me to program if I would see any use of it. But as you see that RSS feed will just be a list of the pages ...

    Why is RSS important for you? I am just curious and if there is a good reason I might implement it.

    Anyway, as I said. The free version if just as good almost.

    Speaking of free CMS's has anybody seen this one: Content Management System, PHP Application Framework, Web Application Framework & More - MODx MODX
    It looks amazing...clean, simple, easy and powerful. I just found it recently and haven't had time to really check it out in depth, but I'd love to hear some opinions on that one too.
