I saw this a few months back but because it was in Keith Wellman's video skinning method and was 33 mins long I decided to watch it at a later date but never got round to it.

Then today got the same email from Jason Dinner and Mike Filsaime, I can only deduct that it sells well. Deffo worth a look though.

      Thanks Malachi...

I just watched the promo video...sounds quite convincing...but that always brings out the skeptic in me...

Think I'll wait to see what others have to say

      Anyone else?

Yes. I've his system and I looked over the videos again for the past few hours.

As you saw in the 30+ minute video, there are 6 modules and of all the 6 modules, my favorite would be Module 1, 5 and 6.

Michael is a great affiliate marketer to learn from and his video lessons are really high quality and well scripted.

I enjoyed every moment of his videos and he really raises the bar for affiliate marketers who want to be highly competitive in the IM niche. No worries, great value for money and not some B.S stuff.

If Mike Filsaime and Gary Ambrose are promoting him, you know how serious they can be.

I've got a special 9 minute video review made for those who are interested and you can find it at my signature.

        To your success

Hi Timmy, just wondering what kind of budget I'd need to get started with the blueprint affiliate launch. Starting with virtually no list at all. Presumably awber plus website costs. What after that?

          Thanks

It focuses on promoting IM products, some parts can be used for non IM stuff but the whole idea is about using his methods in this niche.

Doing a review, I will post it when ready. I guess I'd be killed if I posted my aff link here?

Just joined the site today..whats up all?

I saw the video and to be honest I'm quite skeptical.
I think what it boils down too is pretty obvious once you watch the sales pitch video. Also, I watched Elisha Hongs video...very good review but it was exactly the same as Michael Rasmussens video so you can see what the deal is pretty much by comparing both.

        1. You really have to talk up your product likes its the best thing since sliced bread.
2.Then really stress that its a limited time offer AND there is only a few available for a 'select' group.
        3. Stress how much of it is NOT fluff but all necessary info.
        4. Explain that everything else before is lackluster and how you will walk all the newbies through it step by step.
        5. Free gift

Its pretty much cookie cutter marketing tactics.

Sorry if my first post sounds negative..its not. I watch alot of these videos and have spent some time looking into IM...just not sure whats real and whats a sales pitch. I try to be objective everytime.

Also this is based on just the sales video so if anyone has a TRUE review, I'd love to hear it

Hey Scott I agree with you. Sounds like more hype than anything else. The video and copywriting are very good....this usually gives you a false sense of hope. What I would really like to read are numerous reviews from real people who actually purchase and post their findings right here on this thread.

Good observation Scott. In fact, I'm living proof of his system that you just watched.

There were bigger reasons to why I created the review video,

          1. Is to prove that I use it.

Here's module 5 & 6 revealed right before your eyes.

Module 5 (Nutshell. More details in video)
          - Make a review as an affiliate
          - Create an offer that is valuable. A Bonus that either you make or can repackage.
          - Use scarcity. It is a must and it must not be fake.
          - Remind them to take action.

Module 6 (Web 2.0 , it's a little more used but are proven to work even right now.)
If you were to look at ImGuru, he used one technique to get his
site ranked on Google for the term "affiliate launch blueprint"

I used it a few hours before he launched his Digg bookmark.

One of the methods that Michael mentioned was Digg. True enough, IMguru used
it and I used it as well.

          2. Is to really mention that his product is that good..it will only ring true to you
when you've used it. Until and unless you've used a product in its entirety..only
then you will appreciate it's truth.

If anyone here has bought multiple systems and are still having them on their harddrives..
chances are, you've bought something, used it half way and saw a new promo coming out, promising you the world.

In my review, it was 21 minutes shorter than Michael Rasmussen's video sales pitch. It solved a problem, people who don't want to watch a 33 Minute video can watch my video at 9 minutes with the same content.

It is no wonder you mentioned that it is the same. Review videos are meant to be short and gets the message across. I did create curiosity but I am genuinely interested to help people and when I do reviews, I only review products that are worth mention.

By the way, I totally understand how most people feel about Internet Marketing products but you have to see it for yourself to know it.

IMGuru himself says it's pretty good and obviously he is getting some results now via Google as I see now.

I am open to criticism and as a marketer, it is something that I face day in and out..you'll get people who like or don't like you. In any marketing that you do online, you will face this when you put your name up.

Hey ImGuru , glad that you're putting up a review as well. The more the better because people need to know that this product is great.

          For everyone else..
Now before anyone else chip in.. please note that there are different marketers with difference experience who are interested in buying this product. Please use your due judgment when you watch through the videos.

Some methods you may have already explored, some methods you have not so don't come back to the forum saying..this is "rehashed" information just because you were exposed to this before. Come back with your test results proving that the system doesn't work or the system works.

The Warrior Forum is for serious marketers who are here to grow and help each other and sometimes, competition is inevitable.

Let me know if anyone of you want more insight or IMGuru will be glad to help as well I'm sure.

          Take it easy yeah?

          To your success.

          Elisha Hong

I also don't like to sit through a long sales video when I'm itching to get the cost of the program. So what I do is type in the domain name and add a forward slash and "go".

I was just vacationing in Vietnam and the internet at the hotel was pretty slow. So I just wanted to cut to the chase and tried this trick, it worked!

imguru, thanks for the review. If I buy it, I will use your affiliate link as I do appreciate the objective and straightforward approach.

      Just to clarify:

      Module 1 = Overview
Module 2-4 = creating and presenting your bonus
Module 5-6 = how to get organic traffic during your launch

Does he explain why the bonus is so important that it requires half of the presentation?

Well, he says that since the competition during these big launches is big, it's important to have good bonuses, or at least to "sell" your bonuses during the pre launch and launch so people use your link when they buy

Does he mention anything about costs associated with this method?

I know in the sales video he mentions no ppc or adwords so I guess he's implying totally free when it comes to getting traffic?

But what about the bonus? I have to assume that costs you money to give away something.

    Anything else?

Yea, well it could cost you money, but you could also give away something of value which cost you nothing but your time or future costs. Such as a service you can provide or a future product

    Hi,

I've watched all videos and they are well done.
    Something to point out:

    1. I would recommend this course to experienced affiliate marketers with a list
that want to start promoting Big Ticket Items during Affiliate Launches as a new
    strategy.

    2. If you are a newbie, this is what you should know:

    - how to set up an autoresponder
    - how to build a website and host it
    - how to create and insert graphics
    - how to create and insert video
    - how to use basic php
    - how to use a html editor for basic html
    - also you should have some copywriting skill

Or you have to know how to outsource it and be ready to pay for it.

Therefore I disagree with the promotional video where it says that it is ,"simple, fast cash" stuff.

The free traffic methods are nothing new, so I am not sure who is the main target group since this is well known stuff to us experienced marketers.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    Volker

I really would enjoy being an affiliate marketer on the side but I feel rather daunted, as I'm sure many have, by all the options available. I suppose right now all I really want to do is learn those things you discussed Volker, in an affiliate marketing light. Is there anything out there like that that is newbie friendly? All I really want to do right now is learn some of the basics. And my only real question: Is the affiliate launch blueprint worth it after I've obtained those skills?

Thanks so much for any responses.

The problem as I see it, is if you go to some place packed with affiliate marketing resources it would be an overwhelming feeling of massive information overload. With Affiliate launch blueprint you get everything you need to start marketing big launches, literally. That's what it's meant for.
And it's step by step instructions which you can follow, a blueprint..

    Matt,

It really depends on your experience but I would not start with this course if you are new to affiliate marketing and online marketing in general.

After all this is one of the most competitive niches you could start with and the big product launches are even worse. Once you start having success, the course could be an add on, later.

Where to start? That's a good question. Again, depends on your intention, how much time you'd like to invest, how much money and so on.

I would start at Mark Ling's website, he is a super affiliate and has great resources.
You can join for free to get an idea first. I posted something about him on my blog a while ago, or you go straight here #1 Affiliate Marketing Training Portal | Affilorama

    Hey Matt,

For newbies, there are indeed better courses that lay steps for you.

Some say Commission Blueprint, some say Wealthy Affiliate. No links here but you can search them up. Other warriors, feel free to chip in. [Affilorama by Mark Ling is good too]

The Affiliate Launch Blueprint is a good course to learn how you can be a better marketer in a competitive niche. It is obvious that upon Michael releasing this course, a few things will happen. More marketers will begin using this tactic and marketing in this niche will become especially competitive and many will have to get creative with their offers and so on.

Those with a list will continue to thrive and those without can still build a list regardless and still market online.

But I'm sure only very few will apply after this purchase because tomorrow..another product will surface with another great "method". There are tons of launches right now happening but for most, you just have to PICK ONE system and follow through.

It will take a while for a person to understand that "pick one" method as well..because one has to explore and differentiate between a system that is suitable for the person.

There are people who prefer affiliate marketing, some people prefer marketing using their blogs, some by just sending out emails and so forth..

No matter what you pick, do one thing within the limited time that you have and learn and execute it well, otherwise, I guarantee that you will end up buying more products that will collect dust on your hard drive.

I've met people who bought product after product that when I asked them "What did they do with it?" they mentioned.."I didn't have the time to look it over but I will eventually."

    Scary fact.

Furthermore, for those who are skeptical, here is what I suggest that you do.. do your research on not what others say about internet marketing/affiliate marketing but on methods of marketing that you can use to sell a product online.

For example, if Clickbank is your target. Go to Clickbank and search for a product that you want to market. There are a ton of vendors out there who are selling information products in various niches.

Research on how other affiliates are promoting it on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Just do a search for the product online and observe their "review" sites.

Learn what you can through observation. There are systems that they use to create an affiliate review site.

Some use blogs, some use videos, some would use direct linking, some negative advertising e.g Is FatLoss4Idiots a Scam etc..

These are all tactics. Some gurus say tactics are tactics but if your offer suck, your product will flop.

If you want to learn more about marketing besides online marketing, grab a book by Brian Tracy "The Psychology Of Selling".. cheaply via Amazon.

There are other books people will recommend but in essence, online marketing came as a result of offline marketing.

In the end, it comes down to a few things:

    1. Identify problem. Provide the solution.
    2. Ethical persuasion. Agitate the problem. Provide relief.
    3. Close the sale. Get people to take action by using scarcity. Must be real.
    4. Follow up. Follow up. Follow up. (Not very many people would do this.)

Have you ever had your dentist call you every week after a tooth extraction to see if you're doing fine or they just leave you with a set of instructions on paper and schedule your next appointment? Follow up is crucial as well. But for affiliate marketers, this part is left to the vendor to care for unless you're offering a service.

If you're selling something, ask this question "Why should a customer buy from you?"

Especially when it comes to marketing a product that may seem similar in your niche.

How will you then establish your USP? (Unique Selling Proposition)

What is it that makes you stand out and what is something that you can
give as a service or product that is exclusive that no one else can give?

What is it that you do better than anyone else in your niche?

Like Hertz and Avis..they are both car rental companies.

Hertz is the leading rental service in the USA and Avis wasn't doing too well.

So,Avis came in with a smart method of saying that they are No. 2 but they try harder.

Anyways..explore marketing and $197 can buy you a good load of marketing books that is worth reading and if you have the time to invest in reading some good books, do that.

I like reading marketing books and it is important to learn every single day to be a better marketer. But for the moment, just following a system that you can use and practice would be best. Thing is, you have to find one that fits you.

In Michael R's product, he mentioned openly that there is work to be done but once the work is done, it is great.

In fact in his JV email he mentioned "It's been really worth his time working on this product that he launched." I'm glad he made this product available because it will help people.

    I'm done.

I dont have a list and went straight to module 5+6. Very basic stuff with talk about hubpages, squidoo, useage of free social submitter and so on. Overall a bit to basic i was hopeing for.

But i think it will be good for people with a list, and good copywriters.

I agree, pretty basic stuff. But still good solid info which is still working for getting free fraffic, am I not right?

Also, as you say, it is a huge advantage if you already have a list but as he says, you want to build a list of *buyers* not just emails or subscribers

This post is on fire! I signed up a couple nights ago and consider myself to be a newbie. I'll post a detailed review after I watch all of the modules and start seeing results (if any). My initial impression is that this program is best suited for affiliates with more experience and pre-existing lists of buyers, but you have to start somewhere, right? There seems to be a lot of emphasis on creating a superior bonus, but I'm just trying to build a list and get my first commission. Elisha recommended some other sites for newbs... any other suggestions? Thanks!

The Longevity for this system is limited... by the time you buy and learn the system there will be 50 other people doing the same thing WITH SAME LAUNCHES.

A zero sum game not worth the effort. You're better off trying to compete on a Viagra offer...

Maybe, but how many people who buy it do you think will actively and consistently work it?

The same goes for any "system" which is exposed to the masses doesn't it?

Not really... this whole system is geared around search engine rankings and Launches.

We know that Launches only really occur in the Internet Marketing niche... so that narrows the thousands of niches you can use this system down to 1.

Next we know that each launch only has a hand full of keywords worth ranking for.

Then we realize only the first 10 listings are worth ranking for with each keyword... AND REALLY IT'S ONLY THE FIRST 3.

In all probability only about 5 people who buy the course will actually make money from it... whether everyone takes action or only 10% of the buyers take action - it doesn't matter.

Here's an evergreen system to actually leverage whats going on in the IM insustry:

We know 2 things are happening:

            1) more people are looking to make money online (this is an evergreen niche, a moving parade and will never stop... currently the numbers are growing due to the economy)

            2) You can bank on a big money launch in this industry at least once a month and sometimes twice.

You only need 2 things to make money with this dynamic on an ongoing basis... you need to make relationships and to promote the launches. THAT'S IT (and most of the promotion of the launch is done by the product owner).

            1) Make relationships by promoting front end low dollar but good quality affiliate offers on the subject of internet marketing (to liquidate the list building cost) or give away GOOD FREE CONTENT... Then put your new relationships on a list. Cultivate that relationship.

            2) Promote each launch (make sure a good product is behind it because this list will be like an annuity of consistent monthly income). Make sure you add your own value to the OFFER (mastermind or coaching directly related to the product... you want to be involved with with their consumption of the product so it feels like it's "your product" giving you immense GURU credibility.

And you want to add value to the PROMOTION (YES! the promotion also... make sure you add your own insights into the value of such an offer and what it would mean to their lives). pretend you're an adviser trying to explain the offer to them.

It's as simple as that. You wanna know numbers?

You'll make about a buck a month per relationship... This assuming you suck at cultivating relationships (which most of you probably do).

build 10k relationships (subscribers) and you'll be making 10k per month like clock work.

build a 100k relationships and you'll be making 100k per month like clock work.

THIS IS AN EVERGREEN SYSTEM AND 500 PEOPLE CAN BE DOING IT AT THE SAME TIME WITH LITTLE TO NO DOWNSIDE IMPLICATION TO EACH ONE.... AND YOU JUST GOT IT FOR FREE.

If you need any more details on each facet/factor of this system u can get it for free on this forum.

To remind you again the only 2 main factors:

            1) Make Relationships in the make more money niche
            - build a list (promote front end low dollar aff. offers to liquidate the cost of building this list or offer good free content.. there are many ways you can do this and you can learn this all on this forum)
            - create a relationship with that list (learn to write with a personality, be likable, be sincere and have their best interests at heart)

            2) Promote the launches to your relationships.
            - Add your sincere insight (pretend you are playing a fiduciary role to your list)
            - Make sure your bonus helps your buyers consume the product and that YOU are part of it... once your relationships get on the launch opt in lists they'll be whored out like a cheap hooker from GURU TO GURUE... RETAIN YOUR BRAND by being part of the consumption of the product and you will always OWN their mindshare for all future launches (essentially you will remain their GURU instead of being a pimp and giving your relationships to some other GURU).

Here's a rule to live by...Everything is easy once you know how to do it.

I have followed Mike's information for about a year now. And I like the guy. Mike Filsaime as well.

I have been through the Butterfly Marketing Course as well As The List Building Club. I have also spent countless hours in training with StomperNet and learning everything from starting out, to building my business to creating my own websites.

THIS TAKES TIME!!! THERE IS NO GET RICH QUICK HERE!!

Mike reveals that in his video.

He is up front, he knows what he is doing and he does tell stuff that a lot of the other guys hold back.

I think one of the biggest issues we have online today, is that there is soooo much free stuff that we grow to expect it.

While the money always follows a passion, we are all still trying to make our income here.

Pick one thing and follow the instructions. Almost all of us have the same information to sell. You should learn from the ones you trust and the ones that teach the way you like to learn.

I am one of Mikes Affiliates. I will not put my link in this forum or try to sell you on the program. I will only say that I trust what he does and will recommend his products.

    To your success!

    Nic,

That would depend on your skills, how much time you have to work on this and your budget?

In a nutshell what you need to do to get this system to work is:

    1. website
    2. autoresponder
    3. one or several bonuses, this you have to create yourself, buy or outsource. Depending on how resourceful you are you could need to spend some money here
    4. marketing, if you're starting witout a list you can go the free traffic route which Michael explains in the material and do it yourself or spend some money to outsource/automate or on PPC traffic

So, if you can do it yourself and have the time, costs doesn't have to be big, if you can't or don't have the time, maybe a few hundred bucks to get everything together?
You could get it cheaper of course but you do not want to give away crap bonuses, so it's worth spending some money or time to create good bonuses

    Just my 2 cents

That is quite a chunk of change...You didn't even include the 197.00 bucks it cost to join. So this is NOT for the beginner or even the intermediate marketer? This only leaves the advanced person. It stands to reason the advanced person may already know what Michael's Blueprint is all about or at least have some idea of what it might have.

It may well be worth it for the newbie person but for the more advanced I think it is over priced.

The Affiliate Launch Blueprint from my perspective appears to be an extremely valuable resource. However, I agree, it does appear to be geared toward the more experienced marketer. I could be wrong..that's only my impression.

I just joined Ron Walsh's, Easy Wealth System and from initial observation they have a similar feel when it comes to providing a complete system and the tools to be successful.

Now, I am fairly new to both these concepts, and I look forward to further post and feedback on the Affiliate Launch Blueprint venue. If there aren't too many negative reviews, I will likely buy.

Thank you and have a fantastic day!

  • Hi Elisa & Volker, I'm pretty new to IM as well so I appreciate your feedback that this might not be suitable. And many thanks for recommending more suitable programs like Mark Ling's Affilorama & Commission Blueprint etc.

I've attended an IM bootcamp by a IM & already bought several other prgrams like Ewen Chia's Newbie Cash Machine etc. Alot of the info I get are pretty repetitive and so far havent had much luck building my email list and closing sales (though I have a twitter list of >1.5k now and still growing).

I'll check out the programs you recommended and if I'm interested, I'll search for your blog/site etc and sign up thru your affiliate link. Thks again!

You rarely build your and more the merchant list with affiliate products, launches. Thereby living, trying to compete with real marketing guru's, from one IM affiliate launch to the other, does not build a long term sustainable business other than increasing your stress levels, missing out, not quick enough to catch the next affiliate IM etc product launch etc.

There are just so much IM affiliate launches and it is not everyday that some really new and original IM breakthroughs are coming through. Most of the time very clever (new guru wave) repackaged IM affiliate product just in another fancy format not readily used in the past e.g. video marketing.

Better would be to wait and see what affiliate products IM etc are really selling and then create a product e.g. complementary ebook explaining concepts, software etc that buyers of the good selling affiliate IM etc product are talking, enquiring about (Frank Kern, Trey Smith trick). In this scenario times becomes your friend, the more time the better stats that an affiliate IM etc product is really selling and the more time you have to gather intelligence to develop a complementary product, you sell and piggy back on the original good selling affiliate IM etc product - this is the recipe for a sustainable business that does not depend on affiliate launches but where you are in control through your own product you can sell for years to come. If you want to learn how to create and sell your own product, you cannot go wrong with nicheprofitclassroom (and this is not even an affiliate link)
Do not be fooled, think for yourself! We newbies are not so new anymore...

Alot of great stuff on here. Thanks to all.

Here's what I'm gathering as I delve into this stuff a bit more. This is all a revolving door, and if you're not smart, you'll just keep going round and round.

The best example is this niche of making money online/working from home/affiliate programs.

All it is is people selling you a product to learn how to make money online so you can sell a product to teach people how to make money online so they can sell a product to teach people....... next thing you know, your buying a 'new' product from someone who bought a product from you. maybe its just in this niche but thats a bit scary.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is it that obvious? not gonna lie, as I stated in my first post on this thread, I am a skeptic but I try to see the opportunity in anything....and believe me, I know there is a HUUUGGEE opportunity making money online in any niche. But again, I am stuck trying to figure out the real from the fake.

Even on this forum, which I think is for likeminded individuals focused on the same goal, you don't know who to trust b/c you don't know the motivation of someone who gives you advice.

I am surely a newbie so you obviously should take anything i say with a grain of salt...but I a smart rational educated guy. I have worked for myself for the past 5 years(RE investments, ebay biz, couple other things) so I don't need the hand holding per se...but none the less, this is an arena that I am not familiar with and its harder to learn the ropes than the average brick and mortar business.

I guess i didn't have a point with that rambling post but I would really like to know where the money is these days Do I honeslty just go to a site like affilorama or a couple others that were mentioned on this thread and go from there?

I am a newbie and I bought the product Affiliate Launch Blueprint. I have listening to the videos and it is a good place to start if you want to work in affiliate marketing.

It is a bit intimadating as a newbie, but you've got to start somewhere, and I feel the information in this product gives you an easy blueprint to follow without spending a fortune on adwords or time doing Seo.

I feel the product is easily translated into any niche, although if you want to be a super affiliate in Internet Marketing, which is a very hard niche to succeed in, Michael R. tells you how to do it.

I found the initial 30 minute video you have to watch was SLOW. The content in the videos of the product itself are great. The price is reasonable. If you can't afford it you can sign up as an affiliate and market site. The word in other forum is the sales are good.

      Hi fellas

Scott and Wuuki were pretty good posts for non-buyers of the product.

I bought in this morning, interesting from an EMAIL as I'm on a LIST of another big gun (but good) internet marketer. Sorry for the capitals - I'll let you read between the lines : )

It's a good product, I started this morning super enthusiastic but starting to think it's not as easy as all that (read final comment at bottom). I don't think it's fair to reveal the system too much - one thing I won't be doing is asking Warriors to read my review since that'd be with the sole aim of getting you to buy (HINT).

Given that I've never tried this particular model, I don't think I can accurately comment on it's effectiveness. And Yes it can most definately be used in fields other than IM. Here's a good example...

Forex where there are lots of product launches, they rise, they fall and new version replace them. Possibly weight loss and anywhere there is always a newer better thing with some hype. Heck - maybe even affiliates selling tickets for massive gigs (or via ebay) could use it.

Here's the deal though - sure as a newbie you're not going to do amazing to start (reality) but you may a) get somes sales and b) build a list of responsive buyers which will c) grow as you repeat the process and d) gain experience.

Will you be sipping cocktails by the weekend... probably not.

Might you start the ball rolling.... absolutely.

Do I recommend it.... only if you have no firm affiliate marketing plans already in place (ie. finish that job first) and are prepared to stick to this and get on with it. Regardless of how you feel or how much you want to think about it.

      Al

Very good post and I agree with you imlogic. And that's pretty much what the course teaches as well, just at a detailed level. Michael suggest you to promote 1 big launch every 4-5 weeks and 2-3 small every 4 weeks(or something like that). He says that if you don't have a list you grow one over time from your launches and prior to the launches by advertising pre launch material. Over time you will grow your own list of mostly *buyer's*(people who bought from your link and got your bonus offer) which is more valuable than just a list of tire kickers.

Of course all the information you need to do this is available for free here and from other resources but most people don't know how to collect a bunch of info and take action on it. They are insecure. They need someone to tell them what to do and in what order. And Michael does that.

And, as you say, it's important to build a relationship, get people to like you and make good bonuses, I mean, most people in this industry are already on the big guys lists and they ALL promote the big launches, so whom do you buy from?

I find it interesting that people who haven't bought or tried the product can so easily dismiss it as not being worthwhile.

If you watched the (admittedly excruciatingly long) video, you saw evidence that Michael Rasmussen ranked as the #1 affiliate on several MAJOR launches. He obviously knows how to do this stuff. This product explains in detail how he does what he does.

You can review the videos within a few hours and decide whether or not it's something you'd actually use. He offers a money-back guarantee, so there's little risk.

I bought it and have watched all of the modules. Yes, some of the concepts won't be new to you if you've been involved with IM/affiliate marketing for a while, but Michael offers a lot of nitty-gritty details in a well-organized, easy-to-follow package... and some new strategies for pulling it all together. And if you become an affiliate, the follow-up tips he sends you via email can be applied to any product you choose to promote.

I believe it's well worth the price.

Hi all,.. I bought Michael's Affiliate Launch Blueprint a couple of days back after being very impressed with the sales intro video. Yes there are a lot of typical clich├ęs in the first 5 to 10 minutes of the promo but that's only because so many clever IM scammers have dissected the psychological dynamics of the struggling IMers mind and then pushed it to the hilt because they know it hits a spot. I'm not a newbie anymore although like most folks on here I once was and have previously been too enthusiastic to throw hard earned cash at shiny new programs that promised much and delivered disappointment.

But the thing that kept me involved and interested in Michael's sales message was the sincerity and the relevance and credibility of the concept. I realize at the end of the day that the guy is an online salesman but the thing that I took into consideration was his past performance and his excellent reputation and online integrity,.. that carried weight with me and made me pay attention to the potential that he was referring to as being possible through getting his program and understanding and working it.
There have been some interesting and very relevant and quite insightful posts here about the product and also about IM in general. For those that relegate this program to the category of it being "same-old message packaged in different wrapping",.. I would say that yes, I can understand that reaction and at first I also was inclined to think that. But there is so much more to this program than meets the eye and it extends way beyond the IM niche and opens up a world of potential in other niches once understood and applied.

For sure there are a lot of basic fundamentals in this program but then again that's to be expected unless M.R. was to assume that every potential buyer would be an advanced or pseudo-super-affiliate,.. which of course isn't the case as most of those guys have their own little party going on and probably wouldn't be too excited about it all even though I reckon that just one or two little distinctions and twists from the "master" could add major padding to some of their paydays,- and therefore would well be worth an investment of $197 or $297 or whatever it's going to be!

I've made a review about the program on my blog that goes into more detail without totally commandeering this thread but I will repeat here what I wrote on the blog and that is that this program isn't for everyone,.. and if you're a total noobie you should just skip this one and cut your teeth on something more suitable and able to get you powered up to a higher level first.
About 10 to 15 minutes into the first module I thought I'd made a mistake and that I should get a refund,.. I really did! I Just sat there with that sinking "not again" feeling. The thing that really deterred me and sent those negative waves rolling was the thought that this program seemed to mostly be promoting a suggestion to compete in all of those major product launches which have in many ways become obnoxious pitch fests and back-slapping conventions amongst the bigger players in the IM circle.
"How on earth can I compete with the bonus packages that those guys offer?" I thought. Many of them are loaded so solidly with excellent bonus content that would blow most (if not all) "try-hards" right out of the water!

Anyway,.. I kept watching and hoping that another light would come on... and to my delight it did indeed. I actually think I had one of those "aha" moments that everyone talks about but it was really more like an "uh..huh" moment because I really got the point behind the whole concept and message that M.R. was stressing. The thing is that if you pick your product launches carefully (and M.R. gives heaps of insider tips and references on how to find them) and then you very creatively start at creating a bonus package that will appeal to the main product launch prospect being targeted then you just can't fail to kick a few goals. In fairness, you've got to give M.R. credit because he does say in the pre-sales video and again in the program that this will take a lot of work to get rolling into the bigger paydays. There's just no way that you can come fresh into this and start racking up $10,000 to $30,000 paydays when you haven't any previous history of those kind of results.

One of the things that really appealed to me was the suggestion that you don't need a big list (or any for that matter) and that you can use Web2.0 and organic methods to get the ball rolling and all the while start building that list of targeted buyers. That's frankly where I am right now,.. I've done lots of minor things (and had minor successes... not for the want or trying though) but I don't have anything like a huge list at all (not even 100,.. believe it or not!). After watching the video modules all the way through I've got to say that I'm really impressed and I can see that the organic methods that M.R. spoke of are really valid and are only getting stronger by the day (knowing Web2.0 and SEO helps,.. but I do have good knowledge there so it's all positive news,. and it's simple stuff to learn).

Bottom line is simple here folks as far as I'm concerned,..
    1) pick your battles and prepare your weapons for a convincing win,.. i.e. pick your market(s) and IM niche and the launches therein and then prepare your bonus packages to suit so that you look like an attractive player in that game!
    2) Be prepared to spend a week or two in planning your bonus packages and then put aside several days to bring it all together into a powerful offer. If you just hurriedly put something together half heartedly then you'll most likely get a half hearted (or worse) result. If that happens,- don't blame the launch, the competition, or your bonus package,.. blame yourself for not having put more energy and effort into it.
    3) Be prepared and willing to spend some money creating and delivering your bonuses. Free stuff and PLR is good to a point,.. but it's getting weaker by the day and the market expects more. Every business requires capital investment and promotional budget expenditure,.. problem is that most IMers either don't get that or won't accept it. Of course if you're budget poor then you just have to get down and dirty in the creative department and be happy with a more moderate result that could provide your with more funds for the next promo,- even if its only $50 or $100 extra you could do a lot with that if you invested it creatively on products/programs that your niche will love.

    Closing comment:
    • If you're a bit lazy or want lightning fast push button results,- stay away from this program as you'll be wasting your money.
    • If you're a total noobie (or still struggling to get on the first rung) then you should skip this and focus on something simpler and more tangible.
    • If you're expecting to take this program and then go shoulder to shoulder against the big gun marketers in the hopes of a big payday,.. I'd say you're going to be disappointed and that whilst such ambition could pay off very well eventually,.. it would take a lot of work and probably 12 months of consistent effort before you gate-crashed into that party.
    • If you're reasonably well experienced, energetic, positive and creative in seeking out new opportunities and you'd like to add a few hundred or a few thousand dollars a month to your income then I'd say definitely consider investing in this one as you'll get your money back many times over.

That's all for me today. Sorry to ramble on a bit in my first post but as an observer of this forum over the past 18 months or so I notice that some of the posts tend to be a bit long but often contain useful information. I hope you found my post in such regard.

All the best to my fellow IM Warriors out there,.. cheers

That's a good first post Russ. There is truth in what you mentioned.

Anyways, the affiliate launch blueprint is for people who can take up a challenge in promoting products and offer good and high quality services/bonuses to enhance to usability of a particular product. It helps a person who wants to learn how to offer good value. This is the basis of doing good business as well. If people know the story of Zappos.com, they focus on quality customer service.

Bonuses are a means of offering more than what a product can do or if not compliment the product. There is so much to learn and think about when anyone buys an information product. Broaden your mind to learning and do not be afraid of learning and applying information that you purchase.

This method also works with eBay or anything else you can think of. If you look at products that vendors sell on eBay, they offer additional accessories or something more to add value to their product. So look at this information product as a means of providing you with inspiration to think out of the box and apply it elsewhere.

Those infomercials you watch on TV, the familiar "Call Now and We'll Offer You A Second "Product X" absolutely FREE for just $19.95 only when you Call Now" This is a similar concept of offering something of the same value for free for the price of one. It's a great marketing strategy and it is value for consumers.

The negative reviews are kicking in, naturally as I've heard from a few marketers, this niche has a high refund rate. It's okay to have those reviews but mostly are coming from people who have bought product after product stating that it is the "same" stuff.

Anyone ever thought of other information products like books and so on? I buy many books on photography and film making because that is my passion. Most film/photography books that I buy have overlapping information but they come from different perspectives and are based on some fundamental teachings. Those books are helpful to gain insight on how those professionals think.

If you've been to a friend's personal library, especially if they are in a professional profession, they have similar and plenty of books related to what they do in their profession. If you want to be good in what you do, it is better to immerse yourself in books, audio, information products that help you be a better marketer.

Likewise in the IM space, there will be some overlapping materials that most people will encounter and usually complain about. It is not surprising. When I first started out, I knew this issue would happen but it happens in different books that I read as well.

      Well..just some of my thoughts.

These are very good and relevant thoughts Elisha. The key of course is to minimize duplication where possible and just go after gaining those few points of powerful distinction and functionality from any new program. Just focus on the relevant stuff that will empower your objectives and don't waste energy worrying about the rest.

        Have a great day

Hi Russ, excellent post here.. I share the same sentiments as I bought his product 1 week ago, I have always been a average affiliate marketer closing some decent sales every month, the problem on my mind is I always wonder how those big time marketers managed to earn big cash in short amount of time.

I have seen some negative reviews online saying that how ALB is a professional done trash consisting of free tactics that can be found online regarding doing product launch. But I feel the point is those free information are like missing puzzles everywhere. You really need do your research well before you really understand the whole thing especially the JV part, I heard of the JV thing in the past but I actually have no idea how the whole thing work or how to find any JV myself. ALB sort of like put all this missing puzzle pieces together to give me a clearer picture of how to get started and do my own promo advertisements.

There is alot of inside tips and information inside which is very useful I feel. For a beginner in IM, my advice to you is to give it a miss like what Russ has mentioned to eager get ALB. Why? Because ALB is a course that let you understand how to source for big product launches, do your own promo and bonus, let you score big even when you does not have a list yet. All this require alot of work and committment with a detail action plan of what you gonna do to make a killing for your very own product launch promotion.

As for the price tag, for $197 I feel is very worth it with the high quality content inside, all straight to the point syllabus with no BS. I particularly like his free traffic method using web 2.0 websites. But seriously, those looking for get rich fast scheme or profit pushing button software can give it a miss, beginner in IM should also also stay away too unless you are one very committed to really learning as this course doesn't really teach the very fundamental of IM.

And all the best to all fellow warriors

There is alot of hype about this product whether does it really worth the money. Its $197 anyway. I tried the product too, and I can only say it's one of the best guide out there. It will not be another long and draggy ebook which you purchase and didn't even finish reading.

The training content consist of 6 training module which are all high quality videos with straightforward points and ideas. I particularly like module 5 and 6, because I don't have a huge list yet but he show how to move on with your promotion with some techniques

And Affiliate Launch Blueprint really deserve its title because it is what Michael Rasmussen want to share. He disclose the method of how big time marketers can earn big money within a time frame. I am a average internet marketer, making some income through PPC and article writing, I'm simply amazed by the information and techniques that Michael Rasmussen shares.

My signature is my review on Affiliate Launch Blueprint, hopefully it will be able to people draw a clearer picture. Cheers

I stumbled upon the affiliate launch system when I was a newbie, and I've made my first $500.00 (my biggest commission at this time) with a blog post and a product launch.

It works very well. Since that time I've made thousands of dollars with this system (the launches, not the blueprint).

It adds a couple of hundred (or thousand) dollars to my monthly income.

    This stuff really work.

Well I've been reading a lot of opinions about the product here, including some who are falling over themselves to say how great it is ... but in the end, there's only one thing that really interests me - has anyone who has actually bought the product AND implemented it's recommendations, made any income that resembles the kind of big money in the short timeframe that the salepitch claims?

If no one is going to step forward, then as far as I'm concerned, it's just another lot of "great ideas" but I've seen plenty of those with no real $$ attached when you actually go out and do it.

    Any takers?

I made money from product launches since I got started online. my first BIG commissions at this time was a whopping $500.

Today, I am still making anywhere between $500 and $3000 monthly from affiliate launches. This is not because of this product, I just want to show you that it does work. It's not the thread for this, but if you need visual proof, just pm me.

As an example, my last month product launch income was around $1000.00, and this month it's $1,456.00, from launches.

This is only my affiliate launch income, and I am working on a new project right now, so I didn't have the time to really work at this.

      All the best,
      Franck

This is a fair comment and question I think.

Let me give you my really honest answer even though it may be a bit disjointed,...
To your first and main point as to whether I've applied this particular system of MR's to make money from launches... NO!
Now to qualify that,.. to be honest, launches haven't been something that I've been particularly interested in,.. especially at the grand master level of the apparent back slapping boys club standard that MR has experience with and is largely addressed in his ALB course. To be fair though.. Michael does say that you've got to pick you launches and go with the ones that resonate with you and that you've got time for. I do agree there's too much whoring by many promoters and for me that just loses them credibility to the point where I just opt-out.
The reason I invested in this course was because I felt that I could really learn something from it and gradually strengthen skills in that area and also apply some of the excellent concepts to my overall marketing efforts.
At one stage I felt that I'd made a mistake in buying the course because it seemed so directly focused on the big launches that I just quite frankly can't see myself competing in at this stage. But when I go back and review the course info and re-watch the videos I tend to think that there are distinctions within this course that can be powerfully applied in other ways (from smaller more isolated launches to general marketing and presentation).
You're post referred to "the kind of big money in the short timeframe that the salepitch claims" which indicates you're looking for a quick fix or shorter termed results (which is fine..I'm all for a quick result where possible),.. but I can't recall anywhere in the preamble where Michael indicated that. In fact, I do recall MR going to lengths to point out that this is definitely not another quick fix proposition and that initial results will be poor to mediocre. To me that speaks of integrity and openness that I think are worthy of subscription.
Bottom line,.. this course contains solid info and MR does not hold back. There is plenty to draw from that can be applied. So it begs the question... if you could draw a couple of game changing distinctions from a master that you gave 195 bucks too would you think that was a fair exchange?... I'm inclined to think so!
      Cheers

    Thanks
I bought the product in September, but quickly realized I was in over my head (I am a newbie). I tried to return it within the 30 days and after repeated emails to every available email address, phone calls (to a full voice mailbox - at least whenever I tried to call), there has been absolutely no response and no refund. I even left a voice message on the "testimonial" part of Michael's website - just to request a refund.

I purchased it through Elisha Hong and I must say he has been extremely responsive, helpful and good to his word for the bonuses he was promoting.. I'd do business again with him... just to be clear... but I'm sorely disappointed in the lack of response from Michael R. I'd heard such good things about him initially and have no quarrel with the product, other than I would say it's for more experienced folks...

I'm still looking for my refund... Any ideas out there? I would not want to tarnish someone's reputation, but I've been trying to reach this person since October...
Thanks and good luck to all you who choose to do business with him.
To me, customer service is REALLY, Really important..
If the guy is out of the country or ill or something, I wish him a speedy recovery.. but I still want my money back.
