Then today got the same email from Jason Dinner and Mike Filsaime, I can only deduct that it sells well. Deffo worth a look though.

It focuses on promoting IM products, some parts can be used for non IM stuff but the whole idea is about using his methods in this niche.

I know in the sales video he mentions no ppc or adwords so I guess he's implying totally free when it comes to getting traffic?

I've watched all videos and they are well done.
Something to point out:

1. I would recommend this course to experienced affiliate marketers with a list
that want to start promoting Big Ticket Items during Affiliate Launches as a new
strategy.

2. If you are a newbie, this is what you should know:

- how to set up an autoresponder
- how to build a website and host it
- how to create and insert graphics
- how to create and insert video
- how to use basic php
- how to use a html editor for basic html
- also you should have some copywriting skill

Or you have to know how to outsource it and be ready to pay for it.

Therefore I disagree with the promotional video where it says that it is ,"simple, fast cash" stuff.

The free traffic methods are nothing new, so I am not sure who is the main target group since this is well known stuff to us experienced marketers.

It really depends on your experience but I would not start with this course if you are new to affiliate marketing and online marketing in general.

After all this is one of the most competitive niches you could start with and the big product launches are even worse. Once you start having success, the course could be an add on, later.

Where to start? That's a good question. Again, depends on your intention, how much time you'd like to invest, how much money and so on.

I would start at Mark Ling's website, he is a super affiliate and has great resources.

For newbies, there are indeed better courses that lay steps for you.

Some say Commission Blueprint, some say Wealthy Affiliate. No links here but you can search them up. Other warriors, feel free to chip in. [Affilorama by Mark Ling is good too]

The Affiliate Launch Blueprint is a good course to learn how you can be a better marketer in a competitive niche. It is obvious that upon Michael releasing this course, a few things will happen. More marketers will begin using this tactic and marketing in this niche will become especially competitive and many will have to get creative with their offers and so on.

Those with a list will continue to thrive and those without can still build a list regardless and still market online.

But I'm sure only very few will apply after this purchase because tomorrow..another product will surface with another great "method". There are tons of launches right now happening but for most, you just have to PICK ONE system and follow through.

It will take a while for a person to understand that "pick one" method as well..because one has to explore and differentiate between a system that is suitable for the person.

There are people who prefer affiliate marketing, some people prefer marketing using their blogs, some by just sending out emails and so forth..

No matter what you pick, do one thing within the limited time that you have and learn and execute it well, otherwise, I guarantee that you will end up buying more products that will collect dust on your hard drive.

I've met people who bought product after product that when I asked them "What did they do with it?" they mentioned.."I didn't have the time to look it over but I will eventually."

Scary fact.

Furthermore, for those who are skeptical, here is what I suggest that you do.. do your research on not what others say about internet marketing/affiliate marketing but on methods of marketing that you can use to sell a product online.

For example, if Clickbank is your target. Go to Clickbank and search for a product that you want to market. There are a ton of vendors out there who are selling information products in various niches.

Research on how other affiliates are promoting it on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Just do a search for the product online and observe their "review" sites.

Learn what you can through observation. There are systems that they use to create an affiliate review site.

Some use blogs, some use videos, some would use direct linking, some negative advertising e.g Is FatLoss4Idiots a Scam etc..

These are all tactics. Some gurus say tactics are tactics but if your offer suck, your product will flop.

If you want to learn more about marketing besides online marketing, grab a book by Brian Tracy "The Psychology Of Selling".. cheaply via Amazon.

There are other books people will recommend but in essence, online marketing came as a result of offline marketing.

In the end, it comes down to a few things:

1. Identify problem. Provide the solution.
2. Ethical persuasion. Agitate the problem. Provide relief.
3. Close the sale. Get people to take action by using scarcity. Must be real.
4. Follow up. Follow up. Follow up. (Not very many people would do this.)

Have you ever had your dentist call you every week after a tooth extraction to see if you're doing fine or they just leave you with a set of instructions on paper and schedule your next appointment? Follow up is crucial as well. But for affiliate marketers, this part is left to the vendor to care for unless you're offering a service.

If you're selling something, ask this question "Why should a customer buy from you?"

Especially when it comes to marketing a product that may seem similar in your niche.

How will you then establish your USP? (Unique Selling Proposition)

What is it that makes you stand out and what is something that you can
give as a service or product that is exclusive that no one else can give?

What is it that you do better than anyone else in your niche?

Like Hertz and Avis..they are both car rental companies.

Hertz is the leading rental service in the USA and Avis wasn't doing too well.

So,Avis came in with a smart method of saying that they are No. 2 but they try harder.

Anyways..explore marketing and $197 can buy you a good load of marketing books that is worth reading and if you have the time to invest in reading some good books, do that.

I like reading marketing books and it is important to learn every single day to be a better marketer. But for the moment, just following a system that you can use and practice would be best. Thing is, you have to find one that fits you.

In Michael R's product, he mentioned openly that there is work to be done but once the work is done, it is great.

In fact in his JV email he mentioned "It's been really worth his time working on this product that he launched." I'm glad he made this product available because it will help people.

This post is on fire! I signed up a couple nights ago and consider myself to be a newbie. I'll post a detailed review after I watch all of the modules and start seeing results (if any). My initial impression is that this program is best suited for affiliates with more experience and pre-existing lists of buyers, but you have to start somewhere, right? There seems to be a lot of emphasis on creating a superior bonus, but I'm just trying to build a list and get my first commission. Pick one thing and follow the instructions. Almost all of us have the same information to sell. You should learn from the ones you trust and the ones that teach the way you like to learn.

That would depend on your skills, how much time you have to work on this and your budget?

In a nutshell what you need to do to get this system to work is:

1. website
2. autoresponder
3. one or several bonuses, this you have to create yourself, buy or outsource. Depending on how resourceful you are you could need to spend some money here
4. marketing, if you're starting witout a list you can go the free traffic route which Michael explains in the material and do it yourself or spend some money to outsource/automate or on PPC traffic

So, if you can do it yourself and have the time, costs doesn't have to be big, if you can't or don't have the time, maybe a few hundred bucks to get everything together?
You could get it cheaper of course but you do not want to give away crap bonuses, so it's worth spending some money or time to create good bonuses

The Affiliate Launch Blueprint from my perspective appears to be an extremely valuable resource. However, I agree, it does appear to be geared toward the more experienced marketer. I could be wrong..that's only my impression.

I just joined Ron Walsh's, Easy Wealth System and from initial observation they have a similar feel when it comes to providing a complete system and the tools to be successful.

Now, I am fairly new to both these concepts, and I look forward to further post and feedback on the Affiliate Launch Blueprint venue. If there aren't too many negative reviews, I will likely buy.

I've attended an IM bootcamp by a IM & already bought several other prgrams like Ewen Chia's Newbie Cash Machine etc. Alot of the info I get are pretty repetitive and so far havent had much luck building my email list and closing sales (though I have a twitter list of >1.5k now and still growing).

Its hard for newbies like some of us we see all the bright lights of money and freedom pay are money the gurus who run off and were sunk!
I think having a online business affiliate or mlm is hard full stop!.
To me you need a good product great targeted traffic and good keywords to have any chance i think this system is to advanced for me but i hope the rest of you have good success.

You rarely build your and more the merchant list with affiliate products, launches. Thereby living, trying to compete with real marketing guru's, from one IM affiliate launch to the other, does not build a long term sustainable business other than increasing your stress levels, missing out, not quick enough to catch the next affiliate IM etc product launch etc.

There are just so much IM affiliate launches and it is not everyday that some really new and original IM breakthroughs are coming through. Most of the time very clever (new guru wave) repackaged IM affiliate product just in another fancy format not readily used in the past e.g. video marketing.

Better would be to wait and see what affiliate products IM etc are really selling and then create a product e.g. complementary ebook explaining concepts, software etc that buyers of the good selling affiliate IM etc product are talking, enquiring about (Frank Kern, Trey Smith trick). In this scenario times becomes your friend, the more time the better stats that an affiliate IM etc product is really selling and the more time you have to gather intelligence to develop a complementary product, you sell and piggy back on the original good selling affiliate IM etc product - this is the recipe for a sustainable business that does not depend on affiliate launches but where you are in control through your own product you can sell for years to come. If you want to learn how to create and sell your own product, you cannot go wrong with nicheprofitclassroom (and this is not even an affiliate link)

I am a newbie and I bought the product Affiliate Launch Blueprint. I have listening to the videos and it is a good place to start if you want to work in affiliate marketing.

It is a bit intimadating as a newbie, but you've got to start somewhere, and I feel the information in this product gives you an easy blueprint to follow without spending a fortune on adwords or time doing Seo.

I feel the product is easily translated into any niche, although if you want to be a super affiliate in Internet Marketing, which is a very hard niche to succeed in, Michael R. tells you how to do it.

I found the initial 30 minute video you have to watch was SLOW. The content in the videos of the product itself are great. The price is reasonable. If you can't afford it you can sign up as an affiliate and market site. The word in other forum is the sales are good.

Very good post and I agree with you imlogic. And that's pretty much what the course teaches as well, just at a detailed level. Michael suggest you to promote 1 big launch every 4-5 weeks and 2-3 small every 4 weeks(or something like that). He says that if you don't have a list you grow one over time from your launches and prior to the launches by advertising pre launch material. Over time you will grow your own list of mostly *buyer's*(people who bought from your link and got your bonus offer) which is more valuable than just a list of tire kickers.

Of course all the information you need to do this is available for free here and from other resources but most people don't know how to collect a bunch of info and take action on it. They are insecure. They need someone to tell them what to do and in what order. And Michael does that.

And, as you say, it's important to build a relationship, get people to like you and make good bonuses, I mean, most people in this industry are already on the big guys lists and they ALL promote the big launches, so whom do you buy from?

Hi all,.. I bought Michael's Affiliate Launch Blueprint a couple of days back after being very impressed with the sales intro video. Yes there are a lot of typical clichés in the first 5 to 10 minutes of the promo but that's only because so many clever IM scammers have dissected the psychological dynamics of the struggling IMers mind and then pushed it to the hilt because they know it hits a spot. I'm not a newbie anymore although like most folks on here I once was and have previously been too enthusiastic to throw hard earned cash at shiny new programs that promised much and delivered disappointment.

But the thing that kept me involved and interested in Michael's sales message was the sincerity and the relevance and credibility of the concept. I realize at the end of the day that the guy is an online salesman but the thing that I took into consideration was his past performance and his excellent reputation and online integrity,.. that carried weight with me and made me pay attention to the potential that he was referring to as being possible through getting his program and understanding and working it.
There have been some interesting and very relevant and quite insightful posts here about the product and also about IM in general. For those that relegate this program to the category of it being "same-old message packaged in different wrapping",.. I would say that yes, I can understand that reaction and at first I also was inclined to think that. But there is so much more to this program than meets the eye and it extends way beyond the IM niche and opens up a world of potential in other niches once understood and applied.

For sure there are a lot of basic fundamentals in this program but then again that's to be expected unless M.R. was to assume that every potential buyer would be an advanced or pseudo-super-affiliate,.. which of course isn't the case as most of those guys have their own little party going on and probably wouldn't be too excited about it all even though I reckon that just one or two little distinctions and twists from the "master" could add major padding to some of their paydays,- and therefore would well be worth an investment of $197 or $297 or whatever it's going to be!

I've made a review about the program on my blog that goes into more detail without totally commandeering this thread but I will repeat here what I wrote on the blog and that is that this program isn't for everyone,.. and if you're a total noobie you should just skip this one and cut your teeth on something more suitable and able to get you powered up to a higher level first.
About 10 to 15 minutes into the first module I thought I'd made a mistake and that I should get a refund,.. I really did! I Just sat there with that sinking "not again" feeling. The thing that really deterred me and sent those negative waves rolling was the thought that this program seemed to mostly be promoting a suggestion to compete in all of those major product launches which have in many ways become obnoxious pitch fests and back-slapping conventions amongst the bigger players in the IM circle.
"How on earth can I compete with the bonus packages that those guys offer?" I thought. Many of them are loaded so solidly with excellent bonus content that would blow most (if not all) "try-hards" right out of the water!

Anyway,.. I kept watching and hoping that another light would come on... and to my delight it did indeed. I actually think I had one of those "aha" moments that everyone talks about but it was really more like an "uh..huh" moment because I really got the point behind the whole concept and message that M.R. was stressing. The thing is that if you pick your product launches carefully (and M.R. gives heaps of insider tips and references on how to find them) and then you very creatively start at creating a bonus package that will appeal to the main product launch prospect being targeted then you just can't fail to kick a few goals. In fairness, you've got to give M.R. credit because he does say in the pre-sales video and again in the program that this will take a lot of work to get rolling into the bigger paydays. There's just no way that you can come fresh into this and start racking up $10,000 to $30,000 paydays when you haven't any previous history of those kind of results.

One of the things that really appealed to me was the suggestion that you don't need a big list (or any for that matter) and that you can use Web2.0 and organic methods to get the ball rolling and all the while start building that list of targeted buyers. That's frankly where I am right now,.. I've done lots of minor things (and had minor successes... not for the want or trying though) but I don't have anything like a huge list at all (not even 100,.. believe it or not!). After watching the video modules all the way through I've got to say that I'm really impressed and I can see that the organic methods that M.R. spoke of are really valid and are only getting stronger by the day (knowing Web2.0 and SEO helps,.. but I do have good knowledge there so it's all positive news,. and it's simple stuff to learn).

Bottom line is simple here folks as far as I'm concerned,..
1) pick your battles and prepare your weapons for a convincing win,.. i.e. pick your market(s) and IM niche and the launches therein and then prepare your bonus packages to suit so that you look like an attractive player in that game!
2) Be prepared to spend a week or two in planning your bonus packages and then put aside several days to bring it all together into a powerful offer. If you just hurriedly put something together half heartedly then you'll most likely get a half hearted (or worse) result. If that happens,- don't blame the launch, the competition, or your bonus package,.. blame yourself for not having put more energy and effort into it.
3) Be prepared and willing to spend some money creating and delivering your bonuses. Free stuff and PLR is good to a point,.. but it's getting weaker by the day and the market expects more. Every business requires capital investment and promotional budget expenditure,.. problem is that most IMers either don't get that or won't accept it. Of course if you're budget poor then you just have to get down and dirty in the creative department and be happy with a more moderate result that could provide your with more funds for the next promo,- even if its only $50 or $100 extra you could do a lot with that if you invested it creatively on products/programs that your niche will love.

Closing comment:

• If you're a bit lazy or want lightning fast push button results,- stay away from this program as you'll be wasting your money.

• If you're a total noobie (or still struggling to get on the first rung) then you should skip this and focus on something simpler and more tangible.

• If you're expecting to take this program and then go shoulder to shoulder against the big gun marketers in the hopes of a big payday,.. I'd say you're going to be disappointed and that whilst such ambition could pay off very well eventually,.. it would take a lot of work and probably 12 months of consistent effort before you gate-crashed into that party.

• If you're reasonably well experienced, energetic, positive and creative in seeking out new opportunities and you'd like to add a few hundred or a few thousand dollars a month to your income then I'd say definitely consider investing in this one as you'll get your money back many times over.

That's all for me today. Sorry to ramble on a bit in my first post but as an observer of this forum over the past 18 months or so I notice that some of the posts tend to be a bit long but often contain useful information. I hope you found my post in such regard.

There is alot of hype about this product whether does it really worth the money. Its $197 anyway. I tried the product too, and I can only say it's one of the best guide out there. It will not be another long and draggy ebook which you purchase and didn't even finish reading.

The training content consist of 6 training module which are all high quality videos with straightforward points and ideas. I particularly like module 5 and 6, because I don't have a huge list yet but he show how to move on with your promotion with some techniques

And Affiliate Launch Blueprint really deserve its title because it is what Michael Rasmussen want to share. He disclose the method of how big time marketers can earn big money within a time frame. I am a average internet marketer, making some income through PPC and article writing, I'm simply amazed by the information and techniques that Michael Rasmussen shares.

Well I've been reading a lot of opinions about the product here, including some who are falling over themselves to say how great it is ... but in the end, there's only one thing that really interests me - has anyone who has actually bought the product AND implemented it's recommendations, made any income that resembles the kind of big money in the short timeframe that the salepitch claims?

If no one is going to step forward, then as far as I'm concerned, it's just another lot of "great ideas" but I've seen plenty of those with no real $$ attached when you actually go out and do it.

I bought the product in September, but quickly realized I was in over my head (I am a newbie). I tried to return it within the 30 days and after repeated emails to every available email address, phone calls (to a full voice mailbox - at least whenever I tried to call), there has been absolutely no response and no refund. I even left a voice message on the "testimonial" part of Michael's website - just to request a refund.

I purchased it through Elisha Hong and I must say he has been extremely responsive, helpful and good to his word for the bonuses he was promoting.. I'd do business again with him... just to be clear... but I'm sorely disappointed in the lack of response from Michael R. I'd heard such good things about him initially and have no quarrel with the product, other than I would say it's for more experienced folks...

I'm still looking for my refund... Any ideas out there? I would not want to tarnish someone's reputation, but I've been trying to reach this person since October...
