Anyone Have Results From Using CrowdSearch.Me?

So I try to stick to mainly white-hat, Google approved SEO strategies, but this CrowdSearch.Me service really intriqued me as the theory of CTR from a Google Search to your website has been proven on multiple studies to increase rankings, even if only short-term. Just curious if anyone has tried CrowdSearch.Me and what the results where?

We actually tested it and found it to be a great negative SEO tool right now. Sites that were put into if for the test all dropped in rankings.

We think that the method they were using, and that worked great in the beginning, was busted by Google and they've addressed whatever it was that was giving benefit and turned that signal into a negative.

Thanks Clint! Yeah I saw some positive reviews of it, but they all seemed to be from 2016 or earlier, so I wasn't sure if that has changed since. Thanks for sharing and best of success!

I want to learn how to use it for negative SEO. I tried using crowdsearch against my competitor's site and he ended up ranking higher ever since I did it. And now I don't know how to reverse what I did I am afraid if I do anything else it may rank him higher still.

We're still using it at my agency. Like Clint said it's easy to harm your sites if you just focus on exact keywords.

    So what did we do?
Focused most of our searches on our brand name and lowered the keyword searches we were doing.

Our rankings jumped up quite a few positions over the last few months in a very competitive niche once we made these changes.

    Just my 2 cents.

Isn't something that will make your site crash and burn? Well, it is too good to be true.

Yeah it seems a little sketchy, and I've heard both positive and negative feedback now. Doesn't seem like it will crash a site when used in moderation and when brand name searches are included in a campaign. Either way it's definitely not my favorite SEO technique, but was just curious on some results that people were seeing (good and bad) were.
