Anyone use Thrive Architect the new WordPress visual editor?

    As a long time customer, yes it is worth the membership cost (as you also receive all other themes, plugins, updates and an unlimited personal site license). Easy to use, yes but that's subjective. depending on how much you're willing to learn. Comparing this one with the older Content Builder, yes it is much easier to use.

      I have to agree. Thrive Architect is a great theme and is run by some pretty great people in my opinion.

      There are always loads of videos sent out of new techniques and 'how to' stuff and their customer service is the best.

      I would recommend thrive to anyone running wp sites.

    It was on sale so ended up buying the 15 licenses package. The monthly membership also looked like a good deal (affordable) but you have to pay a year in advance.

    I've been using Thrive since day 1. I really like Architect. When you say "Is it worth the price"? Hell ya! Architect handles Landing Pages so well that it allowed me to cancel my $800 per year LeadPages account! Moreover, I have control of my own landing pages on my domain. Architect has a number of templates and PRE-BUILD funnels as well! So that saves me $2,000 by not having to purchase Clickfunnels! Architect puts money in my pocket all day long. They have great tutorials as well. Along with the package comes "Thrive Leads" that integrates with any autoresponder. I use GetResponse or Mailchimp. Architect is way ahead of everyone on the market with this stuff.

    TA has been a nightmare for me at this point...it is full of bugs...not ready for primetime especially if you try to use it to edit existing pages. So beware!

    What specifically isn't working for you. I find it a breeze. But looking at your WebABCs.com I can see that you are going for the old retro look from the early 90s. Who is the market for a look like this? Just wondering? You could force Architect to make this old style look, but it would be some work.

    A number of people are quite happy about Thrive Architect. It's a good product, but unless I am missing something, it does not introduce anything new compared to Visual Composer, which is much easier to use.

    It supports both front-end and back-end visual editing, comes with lots of layouts and visual objects, and there are plenty of third-party developers selling their libraries of objects for Visual Composer (price lists, carousels, testimonials, team members...) for next-to nothing.

    My advice is, get Drag 'n Drop Boss at https://c-point.com/boss/about/ or some other top theme which includes and fully integrates Visual Composer, and only pay once. Don't know about you, but I am not a great fan of monthly subscriptions.

    I disagree. I have five of my websites that use VC. VC charges a $34 licence fee for EACH SITE! Architect covers all of my sites. I have 59 installs at this point. VC (Visual Composer) is clunky and much less functional than Architect. It is like comparing a Volkswagen to a BMW. Visual Composer also has no help. They give you "support" for the first six months then keep bugging you to upgrade your support contract every time you use the site. If you have an issue with VC, you are not going to get help that day. Maybe tomorrow if you are lucky. Visual Composer is last century and so passe. You can be way more creative with Architect. I have them both, but I choose Architect on both price and performance.

      Visual Composer is #1 under WordPress Popular Items on CodeCanyon, and many would disagree with you about VC being clunky and last century. But, if Architect works for you, no reason to change.

      59 installs, that's a lot. Kudos on being able to maintain so many sites.

        Yes. Maintaining the sites is a huge task. I go to bed daily at 2 am PDT and I get up at 10:30 am daily. Most of the time spent updating plugins! I have a program designed by a guy at Peerfly the automatically posts to my sites. I will normally publish about ten articles per day. Adsense revenue is now running about $30 a day from 6 of the sites. VC is for techno-geeks. Architect is for people who sell online and want to create landing pages to rival LeadPages.net.

            I looked at outsourcing, but for the same reason I stopped using Amazon, I won't outsource. People who cannot speak in full sentences or think in full sentences are never able to help out. Amazon was hopeless with its support because they outsourced to India. It once took me four days on the phone for two hours at a time just to get Amazon to the point where they could understand the problem. You can't outsource "passion" and "Intuition". You can only outsource manual labor. And making a profitable web silo is an art that requires timing, passion, intuition, judgment, and tenacity. For this reason, I reject outsourcing of my blog work.

              What you do guarantees quality. The only downside: it is hard to scale. Perhaps getting a personal assistant to speed up your work is the way to go. I've had very positive experiences hiring through onlinejobs.ph: Philippine workers are loyal, hardworking, and many speak excellent English.

              ...unless, of course, you're perfectly happy and fulfilled with the way things are.

    I bought Thrive Architect to primarily use in creating new sites. I understand that there could be bugs in using it to modify existing sites and knew that before I bought it.

    The only "bug" I am aware of is I saw on a forum that one guy tried to use it with Generate Press and it made it impossible for him to resize fonts and images, but he acknowledged that the problem could be a conflict with one of his many plugins.

    I would love to use it with Generate Press's theme and their premium plugin on a new site and may try that, but I may use it with other themes as well. I imagine that it works flawlessly with any of Thrive's own themes, but I did not want to pay their yearly subscription fee to get all those themes.

    I use it with 3rd party themes and there is no problem. If you are using Architect is should overwrite the CSS of the existing theme. Thrive techs will log onto your site for you and test it. I don't use any of the Thrive themes. I mostly use Socrates 5 and sometimes Newspaper theme from Envato. But socrates is the fastest theme on the market.

    yep, its easy to use, but it takes time to getting used to its awesome features, but one downside to it though is that it doesn't have dashboard, so that i can see all my pages on one page.

    Not sure I understand. In WordPress, you just to go to Pages - All Pages. There are all your pages on one page.

      yes thats right. Other page builders like "clickfunnels", "Instabuilder" has a feature that allows you see all pages created using the page builder in one place - thats makes it easy if you build complicated funnels.

      That is the feature which not available in thrivearchitect

    I might be missing something. For any of my funnels I just use my URL or my shortened URL for the page. I have my pages laid out in a spread sheet that relate them to an offer I am doing. That said... you mention "Instabuilder".

    I really liked that plugin but I spend 12 hours trying to get it to work and there is just NO WAY it would save any of the landers I made. I could change the text or put a new YouTube video in, but it still ony ever showed the spiderman default template. I saved and did everything I could think of or find to make it work. The company's support page was not there and they refused to answer any emails or calls for support. I did NOT want to refund. I wanted the plugin to work. I tried it on five of my WordPress sites and it was the same for each site. Nothing worked. Is there a trick to getting this plugin to work?

    I installed the latest update. I only purchased it about 12 days ago. I really liked the functionality. It is 99% there, but it won't save any changes I make. Otherwise, it would be a killer app. I tried it on 5 sites and got the same results on all of them. One of the sites had no other plugins - just the basic WP install. So, I suspect that a WordPress update may have tanked their code. That is likely why they disappeared. Even Clickbank couldn't reach them. They just refunded me. I would have rather kept the plugin and had it working! So sad...

    imsolutions, Thrive's suite of plugins have been supported from day one. If you look at the pricing for each individual plugin compared with the yearly membership where you will get all of them, the membership is by far the better option. They are not a fly by night company and if you also throw in their Thrive University, you can easily make back the cost of the membership.

    Thrive Architect is the best, period. The support is awesome, and these guys are constantly adding new features. Bug fixes get fixed.

    I purchased it when it originally came out as Thrive Content Builder and right now it is the only builder I use, and I own OP2, Instabuilder, Profitbuilder...Thrive beats them all, hands down.

    If you get the full membership, things get even better with Thrive Leads, Thrive Quiz Builder, and other plugins that are useful (Headline Optimizer, Smart Widgets, etc.).

    My Thrive Architect Squeeze page doesn't integrate with my mailing service provider. Upon clicking subscribe the user isn't redirected anywhere nor are they added to the desired list. I have the API connection set up and can choose the list whilst editing. When I click publish though nothing happens.

    Does anyone know why that is? Would really appreciate the help.

    If you go to Thrive University (https://thrivethemes.com/university/) you'll find courses there for members. Go to "How to Setup a Complete List Building Funnel" and watch it. No one does it better than Thrive.

    Thrive doesn't have agency licenses, so it is only a matter of time before you're out of luck. You need the weekly updates. It's only $120 per year I think. But worth every penny of it. If money is an issue, I am developing a quick training module to show people how to make $400 per month in Adsense Revenue with just about a half hour per day of work. Some guys are making much more, but $400 would take care of a lot of your app purchases and advertising. I'll be releasing it in a couple of weeks probably on WF or Warrior Plus.
