Michael Cheney's fast cash training program

Hi,

I had a promotional email this morning from Jeff Johnson advertising Michael Cheney's "fast cash training program".

This is a new product where he is offering a 30 day trial for $1 for his coaching program + a lot of bonuses thrown in. ($97/month after the trial)

I realise, being a new product, that it is unlikely anyone has tried it out yet, but I'd just like to ask if anyone has heard of him or used any of his products/services before?

Its not a new product at all. In fact it was launched about 5 months ago... Called Deltra Squadron. Back then, merchant account couldn't handle the money he brought in in about an hour that they freaked out and started refunding everyone. So Michael made his apologies to his affiliates and JV partners and worked on it for 5 months.

In the meanwhile he has been promoting other people's products, and I get so much insight just by reading his emails. He tells it with complete hinesty... just they way he knows it. When he says nothing held back, he means it.

I am a personal coaching student of Michael's... And I paid $4K to just about get in touch with him. Completely happy about that decision. Turned things around fast just after that.

In some way he does better than many other IM'ers simply because he tells you like it is. He tells you exactly what he did. And he really does provide personal support. He gets back to you if he says he will. And finds time for you.

    Great guy.

And the product itself... camtasia videos showing you the insides of some of his million dollar launches. The real backstage. Will anyone else ever do that?

They all tell you how cool it is... they even tell you what they said to you to make you want to have the product. But no one actually records camtasia videos while the sales are coming in... Michael has done exactly that. he criticizes his own work and tells you openly about his own mistakes.

I'd say... try it. At all costs. You might end up loasing a buck if oyu don't use it, but if you even listen to him, you're not going to want to unsubscribe, well... in most cases.

Product Sales and affiliate in a balance. Although I'd say its better to put out more of your own products. But then, you've got to do what is comfortable for you.

10 minutes ago, I just bought Delta Squadron just launched with one of its upsell, and I still cannot login. There is no contact to Delta Squadron support either. Since I cannot login, I cannot submit ticket to his support team.

Infact, I tried to make purchase 3 times and my IE hang on me the 1st and 2nd time before the whole buying process complete. My credit card now show two charges for the same thing. But I only received 1 email. How do I make sure he do not bill me twice monthly when end of the 30 days come since this guy cannot be contactable?

Lakshay - since you are in his Delta Squadron testimonial, can yo point to me how to contact Michael Cheney personally? - urgent. Thanks.

            Nick,

Here's the part of the welcome email which is about login problems:

            CAN'T GET LOGGED IN?

#1. Check your email - your
            username and password were
emailed to you. Maybe it landed
in your filters or spam folder?

( it can take upto 10 minutes
to receive your login details via email )

#2. If you still don't have your
login info you can go to this page:

Home : DeltaSquadron | About DeltaSquadron

#3. If the above steps haven't worked
then you can post a ticket here:

            Reply to Michael Cheney

( this is ONLY for access problems,
any other questions cannot be answered )

    Hi Guys,

We have had a total of 10 people so far with the logging in issue (from a LOT of customers) and whilst it's frustrating (for ALL sides) it is rare.

WHAT WE'RE DOING TO SOLVE IT
    We're collecting info from those small numbers affected such as;
    - Browser
    - Operating System
    - Location
    - ISP etc

We're trying to spot a trend but as yet can't find one.

We have also contacted our own hosting company who are investigating this.

If you have bought and need help (and CAN login) then please post a ticket INSIDE the Delta Squadron Members Area.

    If you have bought and need help but CANNOT login please post a ticket here;

Reply To Michael Cheney . com (no spaces)

Thanks for your patience as we deal with the huge influx of customers - we ARE manned 24/7 and if the tiny minority of buyers who have the login issue are not able to get at all we will of course refund you in full.

    Thanks,

    Michael Cheney

I just signed up with this yesterday and had no problems getting in.

Although I did get their emails to my spam folder, I simply added them to my whitelist.

So far i like what's in the back office and there are some good videos to watch. And they're broken down to 15 minute segments, so i don't feel too overwhelmed with information.

    Hope this helps,
    Michael

      Hi Michael,

I know that you probablly haven't had much time to digest the info yet, but do you think that his course is newbie freindly, and that within the thirty days you would be able to use the info to generate some income to at least help cover the monthly fee.

I was in the process of signing up yesterday, and when it came to the up-sell to get you to join Delta Squadron Elite it gave the impression that it only costs $37 per month (the basic costs $97/month) - so I contacted their support to clarify exactly what was on offer and at what price. As yet I haven't been back to sign up. (Basically, if it is going to take several months befoere I can see some results, then I'd sooner try something else)

Did you sign up to the DS Basic or Elite?

I signed up with the Elite knowing that it would be $37 on top of the $97 a month. So if I stick around next month I'll get billed $134. But the first month is a trial period so I am still in review mode.

As far as this being good for newbies, I can't really say if this is for someone that's totally clueless with the way the internet works and stuff. As long as you have the drive to succeed and use this as a learning experience, you can make some things happen.

I signed up for the trial as well. If I recall correctly, the basic membership after the trial is $97 a month and $37 more for the elite version.

I went through the first 3 videos and they are quite newbie friendly. So far most of the ideas are review for me. The exception is his emphasis on creating your own unique jargon for talking to your community, to make them feel special, while positioning yourself as unique.

A mild example of that might be calling an IM forum, the "Warrior Forum", and referring to the members as "Warriors". Michael carries it to an extreme, having coined lots of war-themed words for familiar IM concepts.

Maybe it's a great idea, but frankly it doesn't make me feel special. I have enough to learn about this business without adding a bunch of excess jargon for what turn out imo to be mostly pretty basic concepts like getting your propects to feel the pain of their problem, selling the vision of the better life that your solution will help them achieve, etc.

I don't even remember 1/2 the new terms he introduced (nor do I care to). Maybe there are some new ideas that went over my head, but I don't think so, other than the idea to "create your own language". I'd be interested to know if my response is unusual, which might vindicate the practice.

On the plus side for me, he included PDF transcripts of the videos, so I'll simply read the rest of them, which will be much quicker. In fact kudos to him for that; I wish everyone would do it; there's no way to skim your way through a video, or "speed watch" it, and time is money (if we work it).

Also, Michael, please tone down your salescopy. There is no way you're teaching anybody to make a million in 7 days. Perhaps you mean that in 7 days, after a year of building up to it, one could possibly gross a million which might earn you 250K-500K after affiliate payouts, and other expenses. If that's what you mean, that's what you should say.

I know reasonable people can figure out that it's just standard industry hype, but it takes away credibility from what might be a fine program (even if I don't like the jargon;-).

Okay, I need to add something because I just checked out a couple more of Michael's modules since writing my previous post (reading the transcripts of the videos).

The material definately quickly goes beyond the basics and is quite insightful. I softened my view of the jargon, as a lot of it actually makes sense, and is a pretty good way of describing the subjects it refers to. He does make an interesting case for it, that I just re-read. In fact I'm sorry for being grumpy about it earlier.

Even though he goes beyond basics and describes some pretty cool ideas, he does it in a clear and simple style which should be understandable by anybody who starts at the beginning and goes through the videos (or transcripts, which I recommend).

All in all, I have to say I recommend signing up for the trial; you have nothing to lose, and you could end up learning a lot, and making money with it. I still don't agree with the wording "how to make $1 million in seven days", but his material is certainly worth a lot more than it costs to check it out with the generous trial!

His sense of humor is starting to grow on me as well. If you're taking time to read this thread, you might as well take the time to sign up and read through a couple of his transcripts, or view the videos. You can always opt out if it doesn't suit you.

I still cannot login and Michael Cheney's solution of going through proxies is temporary solution and extremely slow way to open up the member's page. Because of the slow proxy method, I can't view the videos either...the video hang on you.

However, I have to say, his team of support is very fast in replying to you and I believe Michael is a genuine guy.

I think this program is not for complete newbie. It it more about learning business skills than IM per se.

I joined for $1 and plan to give it a good 30 day trial. He seems like a great guy. I guess charisma sells product too. Is there an affiliate program? Would be great recurring income.

I signed up for one of his programs about a yr ago--don't remember the name, something like Business in a Box, but I think it cost $497. All the info and videos in it were a little overwhelming and, at the time, I couldn't do enough with it in the 30 days to see if it would work. Because the time guarantee was almost over, I sent it back and got a refund.

If you are interested in creating and marketing your own product, I would recommend to take the test trial for $1.

      PRO:

      * Well done videos of high quality
      * Easy to understand and follow instructions
      * Good amount of knowledge to both, the newbie and the advanced marketer

      CONS:

      * A starter might be confused what to use first, the monthly cash cast videos or the "main" course
      * It is not clearly outlined on the sales page that once cancelling the monthly membership you'll lose access to all of the video material.

      Hope that helps.

    Fellow Imer's,

I joined Delta Squadron on Oct. 7, and I MUST honestly say that the information, and espcially Michael Cheney's take on some conventional marketing methods, contradict some other marketers I have followed; this however, is not a bad thing.

Let me start by saying that you ain't gonna get somethin' for nothin', no matter what part of life we are speaking of. If you think that you can buy this course, or any other, and sit back because you paid money, and not have to lift a finger (or a brain cell) to get results, then you have the wrong attitude. The ONLY magic bullet is investment of time to acquire knowledge, and taking the time, and if you want it to happen quicker, spend some money while applying the knowledge that you have acquired. Let's remember; Michael Cheney did not get where he is by accident, so anything you read that is overly critical, remember this, and take it with a grain of salt.

With that being said, I have nothing but praise for Michael Cheney and Delta Squadron, as I sure I would for his other products/endeavors.

Michael is a real person, and this comes through in his training videos, even the audios. He is trying to show YOU that what he has done is acheivable for anyone with the right tools, attitude, and work ethic; not to mention concrete, specific goals.

If you want to learn how to get FREE, sustainable traffic, (which you should, because this is the KEY to your success, (unless you are putting out crap) or you want to learn the intracacies of building a list of PROSPECTS AND BUYERS, get JV partners and affiliates to line up to promote YOUR stuff), Michael definintely OVERDELIVERS! !
    (Plus ALOT more)

He brings some new insights on some "old thinking" in the internet marketing arena; you might be surprised at how "easy" it is learn how to succeed at affiliate marketing, and why creating your own brand and products is the ONLY next logical step. You will be surprised at how achievable it really is, once it is layed out for you.

There are a lot of other aspects to Delta Squadron's trainings, including productivity and self help methods that are actually "CRITICAL" to your success.

Ultimately you need to check it out for yourself, 'cuz even though I could go on and on, you can only get so much from my telling you about what I get from Michael's training.

I used to look around for reviews, testimonials and other affirmations as to the effectiveness of a given program or product I was considering; honestly, the ONLY true way to find out is to evaluate it yourself.

What's the worst that could happen? GOD forbid you actually learn something........
and at the VERY LEAST that is what you will do. The information presented to you, in a style only Michael Cheney can provide, is PIVOTAL to your success.

I don't know about you, but I am staying on; even though it makes it tight for me ($) because the only money I get is VA disability since 1991.

Why would I do that? This is not a risk, not even a calculated risk. This is me investing in my future. I hold all the cards, and armed to the teeth with knowledge, if I fail to achieve my goals, it is ONLY my fault.

You are no different; any results, or lack thereof are directly related to your knowledge, efforts and of course, goals.

    Hope this helped someone.
