Recommendations for switching hosting provider? THREAD CLOSED

I've been with JustHost for years, and they've been pretty good at resolving issues and hosting has been largely trouble-free. With the trend now to make SSL standard, I've been looking at my options and am thinking that Let's Encrypt, as a free solution, offers a good way to implement and maintain certification. The issue is that JustHost isn't showing any interest in supporting them at the moment.

Any recommendations for solid, reliable hosting providers who support Let's Encrypt and don't cost the earth?

BUT BEFORE YOU REPLY, I know this is looks like an open invitation for people to post their affiliate links - please don't be tempted to do it - I want genuine information not a selling pitch, and I'll report you if you do.

    Have a look at hosting plans from hostwinds and hostsailor.
    Prices are low and their tech staff is skillful and quality.

    I am just gonna ask you one question. Does your site do any money related transaction or something such sort? Just like the eCommerce sites.
    If not then you don't need a SSL certificate.

      Yes and no: the thing is - ranking your sites is going to get harder as Google starts to flag them as being untrustworthy if they don't have an SSL certificate - starting later this year if the rumours are true. And I want to be able to help others get their sites set up for SSL so need to make sure I practice what I preach!

    The best hosts were looking ahead and have already made SSL certification as seamless as possible.

    I recommend the host I am currently using SiteGround.

    The free Let's Encrypt is automatic or you can install it through your cPanel.

    My second choice would be A-2 Hosting which I was also using until just recently. They are also excellent and the Let's Encrypt is automatic.

    Both SiteGround and A-2 Hosting have excellent tutorials. A-2 has excellent support. I don't know first-hand about SiteGround support because I have never needed it.

    I have used many hosts over the years including JustHost the one you are moving from.

    Bluehost has Free SSL, and is used by millions of Bloggers and businesses, that been said, they have a few things that are not right, but most hosting companies have a few things that we all don't like, so there you go.

    I recommend siteground. I switched over to them few weeks back and site speed is blazing fast. Great features too.

    Edit: They support let's encrypt

    Let's Encrypt is real good solution for FREE SSL implimentation. If you are looking for provider offering FREE SSL with good service I have many websites hosted with https://www.Webhost.uk.net this guys do offer good service using them for 6 + years now , they also offer letsencrypt.

    Thanks for all the input. In the end I switched to SiteGround and so far, despite a few glitches all seems fine. It's good to be able to talk to tech support who phone you back when they're busy.
