Hey all,

I am seriously considering buying Video Robot (http://www.videorobot.io). It looks great on the outside but then again most products do.

I wanted to ask people who have actually purchased it what they think of it? Google is full of positive reviews with affiliate links so it's difficult to know whether to trust them or not.

If I do go ahead and buy it then I would require 2 of the OTOs aswell and it would come in at a total cost of around $160. Do you guys think that is too much?

I recently found a site offering a discount on it but the link brought me straight to the Agency OTO page and that got me thinking... Can I buy the Agency and have everything included from the standard or must I first buy the standard edition and then the OTOs?

A little while ago I also reached out to the creators via their website with a few questions and to date I have not received a reply. That has delayed me in purchasing because I feel if they can't answer me then what will the support be like on the inside?

So, to recap...

I am thinking of buying Video Robot and want real peoples opinions on it.
Do you think a total cost of around $160 is too much?
Can I buy the Agency as a stand alone of do I need to purchase the standard first? I guess Yes but worth asking.

Thank you for your time.

It'a good product. I've had it for a few months and I like it a lot. Fairly simple to use, but there is a slight learning curve. The more you use it, the easier it gets. VR is very flexible and you can pretty much change anything and everything. Support is terrible. Paul Ponna and Todd Gross are in it for their next big payday only. They make it sound good to get the sales, but they really don't care about their customer getting the help they need. You have to buy the front end product first, then they hit you with OTO1 (deluxe) and then OTO2 (agency). So, good product with terrible support.

Thank you for your reply, Drew. Yes, it looks like a good product and I did try to contact the creators before buying and as of yet they have not responded so I guessed the support would be terrible. I also discovered that the domains are set to expire later this year and I would imagine if they expected longevity of this product that they would have bought the domain for several years. It makes me worried that if I buy now, would the site become inaccessible in a couple of months when the domain has expired and the creators have moved on to other things? Thanks again.

I will never understand why, of all things, support is the item that most product marketers cheap out on. A good support person who not only knows the product but has used it and can also speak intelligently about related topics (marketing, WordPress, internet, etc) is literally worth their weight in gold.

Yes, you are exactly right and in this case, they lost out on my sale of product + OTOs because I couldn't get my questions answered before buying.

    There are alternatives out there;

    1. Easy Sketch Pro - Can pick this up for free.

    2. Videomakerfx

My questions have always been answered by Video Robot, usually in few hours. Probably fall short sometimes I guess.

Videopal is great too & then there is recently launched Animation Studio.

I have all 5 and each has its own unique purpose. Though haven't tried out Animation Studio yet.

I would recommend Video Robot. Been a great asset so far.

Thank you for your reply. It does look like a great product with the Text-To-Speech and 3D Characters.

Max video length is 30 seconds, unless you buy agency license which brings it up to about 5 Min. That's the one thing that I didn't like.

It is an amazing product if utilised correctly.

Imho the product is worth the cost. Helped me out a lot. Give another angle for your projects.
