  • Hey JJ

Actually I ran across something the other day that I thought looked interesting. I am not an affiliate or anything but I thought I might try this one myself

  • I've started to use basecamp a few days ago and it's awesome.
I've never been so organized in my life.

Tested a few others too, but wasn't impressed.

  • You need to pick one tool and stick to it.

It can be any todo list manager or calendar or project management script.

personally i use Gmail Actions' widget, with Gmail Calendar and i organize my information
on a private wiki i have installed where every information is logged daily for future reference.

  • Good old fashioned white board does the trick for me....I actually have three in my home office and use them all A LOT.

Like any system, its YOU that has to make it work, it wont work by itself.

    • Whiteboards are the best I think. It's the perfect brain dump. What makes it a good organizing tool is that it is in your face all the time. You don't need to remember to pull it up in a folder or log into a website to see it. But then again different tools work well for certain people. Just depends on what your comfortable with and what you can consistently refer to when your trying to organize things.
  • For my projects that I personally work on I started using Office One Note 6 months ago and fell in love with it. One program to open, and all my projects in it. For my outsourced projects, I use Google Docs which works well for working with my out scourers in sharing excel sheets, and Google Calendar.
  • if your looking for just a todo list. Load up Google, sign in and use the free Google Widgets which you can place on your homepage. There is some nice ones for todolists and various others.
