Glad to see this thread. I think it launched today because I've received a lot of emails. It looks pretty good but I was wondering if anyone has purchased it and if so what are your thoughts? I wanted to put it out to the warriors before I purchased.
    Thanks!

I'm seriously thinking of getting this. I see a lot of potentials with this.

One word of advice: Don't just buy it and expect it to make money right away. Work at it and keep plugging away with it and before you know it, you'll have some nice steady income streams.

I have used Multi Profit Websites (as an affiliate I have been testing it for the last few weeks) and have been very impressed with it.

I don't want to use this post to push my affiliate link so I won't publish it here.

If you would like to see one of my MPW sites check out my sig.

I am not really sure if its nice or not. And so far, I believe it's users cannot simply give quick feedbacks about it because the results will not be instant.

You will see a lot of testimonials in the offer page but I guess the testimonials would be real if we see them using it, right?

I admire Stuart Turnbull because he has real experience to it that's why he can share it with us :-)

You're right erwindegrave and that's why I always hit the warrior forum before I buy. I know that the product just came out so there probably won't be many success testimonials. However, it also seems that there are usually warriors that get to be beta testers and they may have testimonials that could give us some answers. If they've been using the product for a bit I would be interested to know if anyone has made any money so far, and if so, how long did you have your site up before you saw the beginnings of income.

I realize every site will be different and you have to work at promotion but just an idea of a possible time frame (week, months) would be nice.

      Looking forward to any input!

Multi Profit Websites enables anyone (this includes people with no coding or website building skills whatsoever) to create any number of websites targeted to any niche you can think of.

It then enables you to monetize these sites at the click of a button with Google Adsense, ClickBank products, Amazon products, Paydotcom products, eBay products and any other affiliate programs you choose.

To make money your sites need traffic, if you drive traffic to them you will make money.

I have created 2 sites using MPW (check out my sig to see them) and have driven traffic to one of them, it has made money.

So glad to finally see this thread. I have been checking out the MPW blog and John Thornhill and it looks awesome, but would really like to hear from someone who uses it. I am a newbie and haven't decided which way I want to go with the IM. Don't want to jump on board every shiny new thing I see, since there is soooo much!!

      Thanks!!

I have been using this system for the past few weeks as an affiliate and can recommend it for building niche websites quickly.

It is true to say that it is not going to make you rich overnight but then nothing else is either.

When you build any website for a niche it is critical that you do your research first before building the site. Once you have decided what to target then using Multi Profit Websites is very simple and very quick to build a site that is monetized in multiple ways.

Your strategy for using this product is to keep building websites and because you can do it quickly you will be able to produce quite a few in a relatively short time. You can get some good bonuses with it at the moment as well, take a look at mine along with everyone else's and choose the one that you feel will benefit you the most.

I am marketing it at the moment because I am using it myself and it does deliver the goods. The templates are reasonable but I would advise you to use your own graphics to add that totally unique touch to your website.
The RSS feed for automated content update is a good feature so it becomes quite literally set and forget.

In summary if you want to create niche websites quickly then it's a good buy. I am just off on holiday now for a coulple of weeks but if anyone has and questions or want some advice about it then let me know and I'll be in touch when I get back.

I purchased this program on Tuesday and now built my first site. It's very easy to do once you have all of your affiliate codes set up. I still need to do some more work on it.

With a little practice I can be building at least 5 websites each week. I don't want to get too carried away with it, since it still cost me 10 bucks for each domain I register. it's a good thing I have hosting with unlimited domains.

They offer us the choice to sell our own sites for a profit. It cost another 197 bucks for the license to resell. I took advantage of this as well.

Is this a one time offer, or can you if choose upgrade at a later time to the resell offer?

Yes, it's a one time offer. Sorry I didn't make that clear before. They said that I wouldn't see that offer again so I made the decision to get it, since they back it up with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.

I also just got an email from Dave Nicholson today and he said that they will be taking MultiProfitWebsite program off the market in a few days.

Here's a quote from the email:

In just a few short days we will be taking Multi Profit Websites
off the market, so we can concentrate on our existing customers,
and help them build their online business.

We may bring Multi Profit Websites back to the marketplace in the
future but if we do it will be at a much higher price.

So if you don't want to let this 'Golden Opportunity' pass you by,
then you really need to ACT RIGHT NOW!
Take it for what it's worth.

I bought this a few days ago with the reseller license. Working on my first site now but I am having some technical issues. And I am waiting for technical support to answer. Its a bit frustrating not being able to move on and have to wait for support. The first response from support was to change hosting to there "recommended" hosting which of course is an affiliate link which is ok but really lets try to solve my problem first. I host with Host Gator and I am sure thousands of other people do to and its just not the host provider. Anyway still waiting to here back. This is my issue:

When I put text in the WYSIWYG editor and save it just vanishes after I save it and it wont stay. This is for all three: right, left side and middle? Even if I try to copy and paste text in from other programs and even tried putting html under the source of the WYSIWYG editor and as soon as I hit save it all vanishes?

This is just under the add/edit custom content. Under all the other areas as far as I can tell the WYSIWYG editor works just fine.

I also have this error code on my home page: Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0

I have no idea what that is or how to fix that. If anyone can chime in on either of these problems let me know please.

I haven't seen any problems on my end. I'm not sure if the hosting company has anything to do with it. Have you tried using a different browser? I use Firefox myself.

Maybe as a test you could try a free hosting service like zymic.com or something. And see if you get the same errors. This way you can determine whether or not the problem is from the host or the MPW script.

        Good luck!

I have tried different browsers and even installed another site and its just that one area add/edit custom content. I can add a block and a title but not the content, it just vanishes as soon as I hit save.

I noticed on your site you didnt add any blocks, as far as I can see. I just wonder if its a problem with the software or what. Even if it is my host, Host Gator there should be a fix for it and in my opinion it should work on any host especially a big one.

            Mike,

Ask Hostgator to take a look at the problems you're having. There should be a fix, whether changing permissions or whatever that may fix your problem.

That is a very good question. My assumption is that the new owner wouldn't need to purchase MPW, since it's not going to be available by next week.

A MPW site is basically a CMS ( content management system) that doesn't need a database to be setup. It can run independently on your own hosting company server. And it can easily be transferred to your customer by zipping everything in one folder. Then they can just unzip it and upload to their own server. Then they would be able to login and make their own changes.

This is the way I understand it. I will get more details about this later on.

Good to see I am not the only one having the issue. Sorry nothing personal . Yeah I was frustrated as well when the their solution was to use their hosting. I will try to call my hosting but to it should be address from MPW and let us know how to fix it. I did pay $400 for this so I just want the features to work. But I do agree I really like it so far other then the few issues.

If I find a fix I will post it. Please to the same if you find one.

    According to their support:
    1. You can buy a reseller license later.

    2. I asked them Adam Jackson's question
If one decides to sell a site would the new owner have to purchase MPW in order to edit the site?
    I got the following answer:
No the buyer must buy from you a fully edited site which is uploaded by you to thier website, you cannot sell them the raw engine unedited. It must be premade. You cannot give them access to MPW by any means your login is monitored by login amount, time and IP.

Your customer will need to edit the site to do the changes but you will need to support it unless they buy access to the video tutorials. We cannot support the resellers.
Finally, what is it with using their hosting? If I purchase I dont want another monthly expense just so I can use their system. Has anyone purchased and used their own hosting without any problems?

Hmmm.... I may just get my money back for the reseller license. How is the person you sell it to suppose to change content etc. Surely they will want to change it overtime. It would be a pain to have to do updates for people you sell it to.

Although I didn't really want to post here I feel I must to let everyone know this situation.

MPW works on over 99% of hosting packages, if you don't have a hosting plan we recommend a host we have personally worked with to secure you the best deal and support. We are also looking into the Hostgator issue.

Also, if you are a reseller anyone you sell a site to can edit their content. Once you sell your site we will even take care of support for you as they can contact us via their admin panel. If you watch the training videos I show you exactly how to prepare and sell a site.

We also plan to update MPW regularly and are open to any comments and suggestions from our customers.

    Thanks

      Hello everyone,
This is my first post on the Warrior Forum, i have been lurking for a while so that i can understand what is going on. I thought i would say a few words about Multi Profits Websites as i bought the package including the resale rights.

I like most newbies to the internet marketing arena have been attracted to the many shiny, 'killer', 'absolutely guaranteed to make money' systems that are avaiable. I have 'dipped my toe' into a couple and not had too much success for various reasons (mostly my lack of understanding).

I bought the package last wednesday and have so far uploaded my website to my website host and have been changing the site to my requirements. The Admin panel is very easy to use with help next to each action that is required. There are a series of 'step by step' short videos that show you how to set up your website using the admin panel.

I am awaiting confirmation of some affiliate links with ebay and amazon so the site is not fully optimised or finished. Yet i can see that from what i have done so far i think it will be ok. I am treating this first one as a learning website for myself and will no doubt improve on the next few i make.

I bought this package on the understanding that it would not make me wealthy overnight or be able to give up my day job. I see this as a repeatable, fairly quick process of getting a website up and running on any Niche topic once the domain name has been bought and the research has been done on the chosen niche.

I also envisage making websites for sale once i have fully mastered the system and have got a little more IM savvy.

Overall i think this product is a good product and certainly ideal for new people starting out in the IM world. I cannot comment yet on how it fares at generating money as:
      1. I haven't finished my first website
      2. I am no doubt not operating efficiently yet (so much to learn )
      3. Having done fairly well over the years at selling on Ebay and will use this knowledge to compare results when i have some return from my website.

I would recommend to fellow newbies to first read up on as much as you can about the various types of IM and the Warrior Forum is an excellent place for information. If you want to get into websites then this package is a good way, however if websites is what you are going to concentrate on then i expect you will want to later on design your own from scratch.

I will continue with my learning website and then probably in a wek or so update on how things have gone. I hope this post has been of some use. Regards,
      Paul

Anyone know how this compares to Pubster?

I looked at MPW examples and it appears easy to use although there are many, many types of ads on each page. Not sure from video if you can avoid having clickbank and adsense on the same page.

          Hi,
Sorry i don't know about Pubster for comparison, however i can tell you that in the Admin Panel you can select to have or have not each type of ad. So if you want to you can deselect all of the ad types in turn and just have your own content. Each Ad type is like a module you put on your website and obviously you can take out as well. I hope that answers your question. Regards,

Thanks for Chiming in John. That clears it up about the resale rights. So they will get the admin panel etc so they can make changes they just cant get the engine to produce multiple sites. That is great.

I have put up a couple of sites already and It is pretty easy to navigate and build, and I really like it. I just have this issue with the one site that has "Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0"

And both sites with the add/edit custom content issue. Just waiting for support to take a look at the issue.

I think I can't help you about it with no detail. Is it just that error message you get? Usually it had more like :

"Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in 'filename.ext' on line 'xxx' " or something like that.

That means error in the 'filename.ext' on line 'xxx'. You must use your editor and look up what's on that line. If you can post it in detailed here or new thread perhaps, maybe I can help some little more.

John has a good reputation. And the product looks great. But I am wondering how this would compare to using Wordpress blogs as a platform for niche affiliate sites. Seems to me the WP platform already has tons of themes and plug-ins for easy set-up of good looking affiliate sites. And dripping content into a blog would seem to offer some SEO benefits. So what would be the advantage of going with a custom solution like MPW? Other than the fact that everything is all integrated in one package, which I would agree does have some value. But then WP has all that flexibility. Thoughts, anyone?

I Include a link to my eBay 'me' page in the description (an incentive to visit the 'me' page works well, free gift etc)

This strategy gets traffic to my MPW sites from where I build mailing lists and make affiliate sales.

Hi all, this is my first post. I purchased Multi Profit Websites and even for a newbie, it is extremely easy to use. You can fill in everything you need to from the admin panel, click save, and have a site up and running. I have mentored with John Thornhill and I can tell you his products and customer service is top notch. This really is a very easy way to get niche sites up and running in an afternoon. I am very happy with the product. AND the bonuses are more than worth the cost of the product (I know, I paid for most of these products and am very happy with them).

It is a web site that promotes Amazon, Google, eBay, and other affiliate links and products. You purchase the site, get a host, add your links, choose colors and write a little copy, and you're good to go. You can choose to add a list building part to your site too. Excellent for newbies. Does not need to be babysat much if you just need an additional income stream. Not free, but great value for the price and very good customer service.

I finally have understood that you purchase additional domains for the additional sites, but that will still be worth it. The sites look similar, yet you can make them unique with your favorites. Also, you can get the hosting quickly thru their suggested host and they get it up and running quickly. I've had helpful customer service from both John Thornhill and D9 hosting staffs. I have never had any problems with anything I bought over 5 yrs from John Thornhill. I used to sell more on ebay and now mostly am promoting this site for time and simplicity sake. They do have some one time offers and upsells, but they too are helpful and not much money for what you get. I would definitely say it is ideal for newbies and non-techies. Hope that helps!

I think your points are excellent and I'm sure you've got John T's mind racing. My personal feeling about MPW is that it is very good for people who are just starting and who want a little extra income, but are not going to build lists, at least in the beginning. One thing I've heard for many years now is that the money is in the list. That concept does not mean much to someone who doesn't have a product or web site; I think it takes a while to sink in.

I purchased the multi profit websites package and reseller package on launch day and have been working with it since. I did have the same issues with trying to add blocks of information in the main webpage and seeing them disappear after trying to save it. I too have Hostgator so I really hope that isn't the issue as many people who I would resell sites to probably have Hostgator too.

You can set up a sales funnel by adding your own custom pages with your one time offers and download links. All you have to do is change the default easy aweber set up which is in the template and replace it with your custom aweber code that you create at Aweber. Then when you create your code at Aweber, you can redirect to the one time offer page you set up and effectively take your prospects through a sales funnel using your Multi Profit Website.

If you are a newbie, then you can cheaply hire a php programmer to help you with this step. If you are serious about a sales funnel process, then why should a few bucks hold you back from using Multi Profit Websites?

I have also found the perfect Wordpress (clone) to multi profit websites. It is virtually identical since you can easily ad widgets and plugins that virtually do the same thing. Of course it took me longer but is more SEO friendly and you have many more customization options.

I plan on offering both versions to my customers when I'm ready to resell affiliate sites. Multi Profit Websites is perfect for the newbie and those who don't want to put much time and effort into the setup of their site using Wordpress but with so many wordpress users out there, the demand for wordpress affiliate sites is there I think.

The more work you put into a site, the more return you will get is my opinion.

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to say I appreciate all your comments and thought I would clear a few things up regarding MPW.

In my experience there is a fine line between keeping a site simple enough for newbies and advanced enough for experienced users. It's hard to find some 'middle ground', that is exactly why me and Dave said we are going to keep updating MPW. We purposely left a few things open to improvement as we wanted to get the feedback from the users and use that to build upon.

The Hostgator problem was solved as soon as we were made aware of it, like a few other teething problems were also solved. This was to be expected, as I'm sure many people will agree with any new products.

We are currently taking ALL our customers improvement ideas and constantly adding to the site as best we can.

As Michael said, the sales funnel from a squeeze page is possible, but now that we know people want it we will work on making it simpler, along with many other ideas.
I you have any ideas that you want putting forward, then you can leave them with support here and we WILL try our best to make them happen.

    John

      John,

Can posts be made to hostgator now; or are the developers working on a fix?

      Thx,

Just a few observations here having used both wordpress blogs and Multi Profit Websites.

Lets face it Wordpress is extremely flexible and given time you could build a Wordpress site that has all of the facilities that a Multi Profit Website will have. The point here is time. A MPW website can be set-up and implemented very, very quickly, much faster than an equivanlent Wordpress site with the same amount of profit links in it.

I am not saying that MPW is the ulimate system, but it can be used to produce results quickly in a niche and then move on to build another one, and rinse and repeat is the bottom line when it comes to niche marketing.

On the SEO question, MPW can be optimised for SEO and works quite well from a natural search perspective, but it will never be as good as a hand crafted site that you have spent time on. The question you need to ask yourself is "Is it time well spent building it more slowly?" You will probably get slightly better results but while you are building one site using traditional methods you could have implemented numerous MPW sites.

The bottom line is, it's still early days with MPW and I will continue to use it as well as the more traditional approach and monitor the outcome, but my initial impressions are that it is simple to use, quick, and does produce reasonable results.

I'd like to add my two cents worth here also. I have purchased MPW and have set up a few sites already with it. It does have some limitations and I'll try to list a few pros and cons that I can think of right off the top of my head.

As was said already, you can set up an affiliate site fairly quickly. You'll still have to set up accounts with the affiliate programs you promote there, which will take a little time. Setting a site up in 30 minutes, while possible, isn't realistic. Unless you work every day with this or any other program, it will take more time than that.

That being said, 1-2 hours or more is certainly within reach for most technically challenged people, like me.

I was a little disappointed about having to purchase a resell license to sell sites, which I haven't done yet, but will probably do in the future. But, I can see why they did that regardless.

The sales funnel systems are something that needs to be highly personalized as everyone will want to do this differently. I think it would be asking a lot for them to include everything, as no website builder implements every aspect of the sales funnel process. Still, agree that a little more flexibility would be nice. Can't wait to see the updates offered in the future, I'm sure they'll be awesome.

I have purchased many of John and Dave's products, have taken John's mentoring class and know John is looking out for YOUR best interests. Sure, he is a marketer and makes a very good living at it. But, I continue to purchase from him because his products are very high quality and his support is second to none. This is no exception and I have no doubt that he's reading our posts and finding ways to improve this product with our suggestions. I'm sure they'll both keep improving and investing into this as this will have a very long term presence.

Regarding the SEO properties, I have found this to be extremely SEO friendly and without any promotion, see my sites increasing their rankings automatically. Plus, there are automatic links being given to every site because of the streaming content offered. I would say with a little backlinking and promotion, these rank very well.

However, Wordpress has tremendous weight with Google and I honestly think it will be hard for MPW to compete with them. Let's face it, you can rank a WP site in a matter of hours or days and get it on the front page solely from the weight WP holds in Google's eyes. So, I think from an SEO standpoint, I'd have to say that WP will probably outrank MPW. But, this isn't all about rankings and you certainly can get good rankings with MPW. Either way, you'll have to promote and build links to any of the sites. This is about ease of construction and MPW surely has that going for it.

On the graphics part, MPW is lacking a bit. I can see why they only give a limited graphics collection as Dave's site sells graphics, and very nice packages at that. But the fact is that you will probably want to upgrade the graphics as the ones offered are a little plain looking. I would have to say that WP has that going for them also.

I'm still not sure you can actually change themes with MPW other than the colors and if anyone can clear this up, I'd appreciate it. So far, I haven't found out if that's possible. It doesn't appear so at this point and I'll definitely be suggesting this to them.

Regarding money making possibilities? That's completely personal, depending on experience level, promotions, links, etc. I cannot for the life of me understand why people think ANY product out there will make them money on autopilot. It doesn't exist people. There is NO system, product, website builder, report, software, course, video or anything else that will make you money online without a LOT of hard work.

People always want to ask how much money they can make. Like any other job in the world, it depends how much time you devote and how efficient you are. If you're like the typical marketer online, you spend well in excess of the typical 9-5 workday as well as weekends, after hours, before hours, holidays, spare time etc. learning and trying to find the best way to make money online.

Some never will, others find a system quickly and become successful overnight. One thing I think is fairly common is that every spare moment is devoted to the pursuit.

Building a website will not make you money unless you put all of the other factors into play such as research, promotion, and traffic generation. This will not get done for you nor will building a website guarantee any income whatsoever. It's just a website builder, not an ATM machine.

You're building a business that includes having to know how to build websites. Businesses are work. They take time, effort and money to make successful. So, PLEASE don't think that building a website will make you a dime. It's a very very small part of the overall process, although a very necessary one.

It is a baby. You will have to feed it, cloth it, send it to school, learn from it and teach it, then send it out into the world and hope it does well. Without constant dedication, it will fail or worse , die. That's business. A constantly evolving entity that requires attention. If anyone finds any push button system, you can bet they're not telling a soul about it.

That being said, I would definitely recommend getting this. If you already know a ton about html and website building, maybe it's not for you. But even experienced web builders seem to like this for its ease of implementation. I'm awaiting the updates to see what they will offer in them. So there you go. Take care. Patrick

          Webmind,

It seems like there's already a sales funnel in place, although you have to customize every aspect of it. You have the option on the optin box, but you have to configure the followup emails, sales pages etc. after they opt in. I understand that a little more automation would be nice though not sure how that could be included to fit everyone's tastes.

Also, completely agree with the aggregating of web 2.0 content as many of the other web builders are coming out with this. Although, I have to wonder if they are in fact monetized specifically for the owners like MPW is. I only watched one video on the SPB and it was indeed impressive. I would love if John could have these do something similar as it would give us more flexibility.

I have already put in a request to consider a way to implement Aweber's new customized opt in boxes and also a way to edit the headers easily with our own custom headers without having to go through the help desk.

If anyone has figured out how to do this, please let me know as I'm technically challenged. I tried messing around with it for a couple of hours but was unsuccessful in the end.

Also, I asked about enabling a comments section as this would be a good way to interact with visitors. I realize that's what blogs are for but still the option would be nice anyway.

          Teleologist,

Can someone explain what one is getting with the resale option? If I create a website with this system and then sell it without having the resale option, what is the downside for the buyer? If I sell a website with the resale option what is the advantage for the buyer?
It is specifically stated in the Terms of Use that you cannot resell these sites without the resell licenses. They are for your personal use only. They (MPW) would probably remove them and you would have to refund the money to the person you sold them to. I think that is the reason you have to register every site you make into their system.

Truthfully, I was a little bothered that we have to buy resell licenses for these but I think it will ultimately protect the integrity of the product. Since I'm not totally versed in web building, I still find this program is a bit limiting in flexibility. Hopefully the updates will address some of these limitations. Take care. Patrick

After working in the software business for over 30 years, I find it absurd to make someone pay for a resale license. Is this clearly stated before one purchases it? What other piece of web software does this? Its amazing to me how we have swallowed this business model as okay.

If I buy Expression Web or Dreamweaver or any other software to set up a site, I don't have to pay a fee to resell the sites I set up with it. And how much does Wordpress charge to sell sites you create with it?

This is the kind of thing that gives internet marketing a bad name. Upselling should provide additional functions, features, and benefits not additional rights to something you already paid for. Why not just increase the price and be honest about it?

Aren't most of us going to eventually sell one or more of these sites? It seems like an additional way to get more money without delivering any additional value.

I say get with Wordpress, or find someone who does, and do it right. What do you guys say?

This is the first paragraph of the TOS on the MPW site.

"The website you download and all of its contents is copyrighted to Multi Profit Websites and is not for resale or distribution in any way. This includes images, scripts and software applications. The websites you create are for your own personal use only and carry a single user license that allows you to create an unlimited number of websites."

I think for all the scripts that are part of the MPW system and the ease of use, it is a pretty good deal. Sure you can set up similar sites with WP, dreamweaver or (insert favorite HTML editor here) but that usually has a steep learning curve and it is time consuming.

webmind nobody is trying to talk you into it. It sounds like you got it figured out in your mind. You will not truly know what MPW is until you try it for your self. To me you can create any sales funnel you want and MPW makes it easy. This is my opinion. If your that interested and want to see first hand for your self get it and review it with the money back guarantee when it reopens. Simple is that. Is MPW perfect...?.. Nope I would like to see a few changes and I have sent my requests in, but its as simple as setting a webpage can get for anyone.

            Webmind,

I never said there was an automated sales funnel in place. I said all of the pieces were there to customize and personalize your own. No web builder out there has an automated sales funnel, at least not the ones I've seen. If you DO find that, it's most likely an affiliate site that they give you so you can promote only their products, and not an actual web builder.

It seems a bit contradictory to say there is already a sales funnel in place "but you have to customize every aspect of it". That sounds like there really isn't an automated sales funnel in place.
Like I said. I'm not being contradictory. I never said anything was automated. Look at my previous posts and you will clearly see that I've continually harped on the fact that there is NO push button solution, and that includes this software. People always want "pushbutton" income. This is JUST a web builder, not an income system, not a push button solution. Just a web builder.

There are some aspects that are good about it and it seems to be VERY SEO friendly. But, for me, it has some severe limitations in the fact that it isn't completely customizable. Every site looks exactly the same, which may be good for some, but I still think Wordpress is infinitely more customizable.

For a real web builder, I'm seriously looking at Xsitepro. If I want automation and feature rich, I think I like it a lot. I'm very impressed with the features it offers and think it offers more "automation" and option for customization. Feel free to cling to your notion of automation. I'll stick with mine. Either way, I wish you luck in all of your endeavors. Take care. Patrick
