Does anyone own trackback spider 2.0? Would love to know your opinions on it.

I see no one answered this, and a big relaunch is underway now for a couple of days. Or "re-opening" I suppose.

I believe it is $97 monthly. [OOOPS, I see now it is $49.]

      Don't waste your time.

Last time I tried it, it was horrible.

And for $97/month there was absolutely no customer support.

I bought it in mid Feb during their last "few new spaces available" campaign.

It took me several days to figure it out because the install files were non-existent.
Then it took over a week to "build the database".
After the database was built, it began to post.
It posted for 4 days until it crapped out.
Now every day at the assigned time it just changes dates as to when the next post is scheduled, but no posts are made.
The first few days customer service seemed fairly responsive - a "one response per day" setup...

I was told that the "PHP Guru" would be contacting me.

        That was 3 weeks ago.
Tech support stopped responding to my "trouble tickets" about 2 weeks ago - they will not respond at all now...

I had high hopes in the beginning, but they are fading quickly.

Of course my second payment was extracted a while back. I asked for a refund for that first month, since it didn't run much.. I guess I'll have to make a decision here before the next auto debit is taken out of my account...

BUT!!! I get spam emails from them every day pitching their latest and greatest new software that they are giving away for free to the whole world!!! They don't seem to miss a day.

Something seems amiss... They seem to spend all their time and efforts launching new free software, while their paying customers are languishing with inoperative crap.

Even at $49 per month, I would question it.

Jared Croslow is the owner, and similar to the above experiences, I found his support for another product I bought was also terrible.... Domain Dashboard. Very frustrating.

    Andy Beard reviewed it here:

      Billybob,

Is your problem with Domain Dashboard getting traffic results from addon domains? I have this problem for a long time, I can't get traffic stats from my addon domains at Hostgator. I was told to change the skin on the cpanel, but no luck. Still hoping to get this working.

        Batchos:

No, sorry that was not my issue. I cannot give you any advice on that.

I tried it back in `08.

to run it I had to upgrade my system. Then had it running for 8 days non-stop before shutting it down. Total backlinks created - 2 (two). Cancelled and refunded.

At 97 cents a month you would still feel ripped off. Avoid like the plague.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

I can say there is no or little support. There are some, but very very slow. I have tried other products from this same group and has been unsuccessful. I'll lick my wounds and move on.
