Site profit bot - should I try it ?

Hi,
I've just received an e-mai from Ewen Chia (yes, I'm on his list too ) about a product - site building software, and it costs only 67 $.

Site Profit Bot

Does anybody know anything about it? Sounds great, but is it really ?

Just bought it. Looks pretty good but I have a concern about the possible similarities of sites.

So far there are only three templates but they say more are coming.

They suggest using high-level keywords which also would contribute to similar sites. But it's possible that you could use long-tailed keywords to make your sites unique.

I'll find out tomorrow when I play with it a bit.

Right now, I can tell you that it looks good. There's a lot to it.

There's also a continuity program which is free for the first 30 days. Interestingly, you actually have to choose to take part in that program, rather than having it foisted upon you and then forcing you to remember to cancel.

I like that approach. It may speak well of the creator.

Well, it sounds interesting, but I couldn't find any information about how your affiliate links get to your website ?

Is it possible to use clickbank links together with e-bay and amazon ?
is it possible to skip e-bay and use only amazon and clickbank ?

What about the domain name? You have to choose it and register yourself, or ?
      What about SEO ?
How is Google ranking tese pages for the chosen keyword?
How do you get that massive traffic that is shown in the sales letter ?

For my money the sales page is so looooong, and confusing and I got tired just trying to understand what is was all about.

        Maybe that's just me though!

Since I spent a lot of time playing around with Site profit bot, I can answer some of your questions -

        1. Is it possible to use clickbank links - yes you can by adding banner ads ... you need to have the Pro membership for this ($47/month). If you don't opt for the monthly plan you can use hyperlinks in your own articles to link to any affiliate program.

        2. Domain name is your own and it is hosted on your own website ...

        3. Onpage SEO - not much to be desired ... title tags do not reflect the page content! Maybe JP should work on this ...

        4. As a strategy, I would do the usual stuff to launch a site, keyword research, unique articles, etc. and then use this tool to aggregate additional content (similar to using Yahoo pipes), which I think this tool does a decent job of. Of course I would do the usual promo stuff I do with my sites - back-linking, bookmarking, etc. ...

The speed at which it builds the site and the content it aggregates is awesome ... like all tools, if used correctly, can be a great boon.

        5. On the limitation with the templates, I would for a start target 3 niches and build multiple micro niches using the same template so that the whole niche real estate looks similar and well themed ...

        Hope this helps.

One thing not on the sales page anywhere: Is the software a windows desktop app or browser based? It was difficult to tell from the videos?

I just watched a video demo of this product from Eric Holmlund. It looks like there is a $297 upsell if you want a license that allows you to flip sites made with Site Profit Bot.

The video can be watched at: Site Profit Bot Review
NOTE: The affiliate link on the review page is Eric's, not mine.

I won't be picking this one up.

I saw the same thing on Erics site its desktop application. It looks pretty good but I always cringe too at the thought of tossing in the same keyword as everyone else and getting duplicate site content and getting blocked.
It just makes me hear the voice in my head that tells me there is no short cut that works long term for making money it simply takes a bit of hard work. I personally hate looking like everyone else on the block but maybe that's why I am not filthy rich.

It looks as though WPManagerDX (Edna Melendez's software) can now do auto content WITH backdating of posts - I haven't upgraded my install in a while, so will play with the new version this weekend.

I think with WPMD, WPRobot and MarketSamurai, you could probably create sites just as quickly but with more control as to the quality - or am I missing something here?

You could also create sites for resale by simply taking out the premium WPRobot plugin and replacing it with the free components and have a blog with content that you could resell?

After reading some of the comments here and more importantly, seeing the resulting sites generated by SPB, I'm gonna skip it. The sites just weren't impressive and the duplicate content thing worries me.

I think Melody's idea (below) is probably good. It's a bit more expensive, but ultimately, you have more flexibility and you're not tied to some pre-compiled Windows program that you cannot modify or customize.

Thanks for the input on SPB everyone.

        Thanks,
The main difference to me is that I OWN all of the scripts outright - not paying a monthly investment. I haven't used Firepow in quite awhile, so I really could not address the current capability of FP as I know it has changed quite a bit since it was initially launched.

I think it is a very good system, but I would not honestly consider myself qualified to compare it what I am using right now.

This is a close call for me...

I have purchased several of JP's products over the years, and despite what Mike says in the post above, they usually work very well. But they do get out of date when Google and other sites change, so you have to keep the products updated with patches. But JP has been very good at issuing them. And the support and training is top notch. Once you buy into one of his products, you get free updates and upgrades, and everything keeps getting better.

That said, some of the negative comments in this thread ring true. The sites look spammy, and you have less flexibility and control with the look, feel and content than you would with Wordpress. And a $300 upsell to be able to sell your sites? As they say on SNL, "What up with that?!"

But what finally tipped the scale for me, convincing me to get this, was a suggestion by Matt Garrett in his affiliate pitch. He advises using this in conjunction with other site building resources to build a more search engine appealing site.

At the end of the day, SPB is just another tool, and should be evaluated based on its strengths and weaknesses. No, it won't create a perfect finished niche site that will generate big bucks on autopilot with no effort. But it does appear that it will create a search engine friendly site for any given keyword very quickly and easily.

And if it can do that, I can think of bunches of ways to use it. Using it as a domain parking site is a first step. Then if you want to spend more time to better target a niche, you could either add custom content to your SPB site and tweak the layout, or integrate it into a Wordpress blog or other site.

Bottom line, if it can create decent looking, search engine friendly sites quickly and easily, it's worth a try. Especially at $67. I'll report back if it turns out my experience is different from my expectations.

I paid my upfront fee, somehow I got left behind. I understand JP is one of the best but it seems to me he should do something about his support system.

I, first of all had a problem with his so-called "code" which turned out to be a password. Two days hold up with this. Now after 4 days of requests, Why does the Creative Niche software not work, I have have had no response.

If a paying customer says it is urgent why NO REPLY. and after 4 days. Do I have $67.00 to spend and get no service?

I agree..... I also like to have more control over the content of my site and keywords I am going after. Currently I'm using a combo of WP Robot, Slick Social Pro and Wordpress Unique.

I'm not sure that Site Profit Bot offers anything new. Cam Forbes' Niche Dominator and Automegascript Auto Mega Script Version 2 produce similiar sites.

      ok, I 've bought it.
my first impression - I'm not impressed.

I went for the keyword "tattoo", I have adsense and amazon ID's.

      here's the result: www.tattoodrawing.org

so this is the site that should earn me money ? I don't think so... I dont even see that I'm selling anything here...
And where is the content ?

This site looks really poor.. maybe it will change over night
      Further more..
I couldn't upload my site through the program, there was some kind of error repeating so I had to use Filezilla.

Once the page is up you have no possibility to enter it, or change anything, not even the theme.. for that you have to take the site down and build a new one..

Well, the fact that you cannot change anything after the fact just killed it for me. I do like having control over my sites. It may take me a whole 30 minutes to create a site but once you get familiar with Edna's system pretty much does everything, AND I have full control over my sites as well.

Plus Edna just keeps making it better and it's $97 for life time updates, and she supports the product as well.

I am not knocking the support provided by Greg or JP (in fact, JP has an excellent rep and his Niches-in-a-box program is really 'best in class') but I think with a little initial configuring to start with, you can put together a system that does the job, with a better chance at lasting for long term results - especially with Market Samurai in the mix as well.

save yourself the $67 and learn from scratch for a few hours - this is all about long term investment. No such thing as a free lunch! Once the "google" finds these sites like BANS and other quickies - you will want to learn from scratch (or at least the old school way)!

          Hi webmind,

In all honesty Site Profit Bot built the learn guitar site in under a minute. I described the steps/process on my blog.

I would like to reiterate - Site Profit Bot built the site in under a minute ... the exact same site you see online ... NOT ME!

The reason why I stress on the above is because I want to make it clear that I would not build a money website in under a minute and expect it to generate income for me on auto pilot.

          Here is why ...

I take typically 8-10 hours to build a money website... here is the break up of the typical time spent -

          a) 2-4 hours in market and keyword research,
          b) 4 hours coming up with unique and keyword optimized content,
          c) 2 hours in building the site and adding secondary content.

With Site Profit Bot, the last 2 hours is reduced to 30 seconds ...

After the above is done I start my website promotion activities which is can take at least another couple of hours and spread across a few days.

In the past few days I have been evaluating a number of these auto content generating software tools. Based on the reviews I posted on my blog I have been getting a volley of questions on these type of applications. I have noted that there are a number of misconceptions on these applications. The biggest misconception is that you can use these auto content generating tools to put up a money site in a few seconds/minutes and start expecting money to roll in the front door. WRONG!

If you are expecting a quick-fix-get-rich-quick-tool ... sorry to disappoint you - IT DOES NOT EXIST!

Internet marketing is a business ... you need to have a plan and the right tools to execute your plan. Once you have this in place, you will make money.

Think like a farmer - Sow before you reap ... and you reap what you sow!

Continuing on the farmer analogy, you need to take time and effort to -

          - PLAN where you want to plant the seed for your money tree (market research)
          - FIND the right tree to plant (keyword research)
          - PREPARE the land for a healthy tree to grow (unique content creation and keyword optimization)
          - PLANT the seed (build your website)
          - NURTURE and GROW your money tree (promote your website and generate traffic)

The farmer uses different tools/equipment for each step of the process - there is no 1 tools does it all!

          Hope this helps,

          Andy

          • Continuing on the above thread ... the other myth is that you can make a ton of money by simply building these 30-second sites and having listing of eBay, Amazon, Adsense, etc. on it. The fact is, you will make some money per site, but not a lot.

The truth is that it takes more effort than that ... I think of these affiliate listings as side servings ... peripheral income.

Your niche site needs to focus on a few carefully chosen products and you need to spend the time and effort to understand the products that you intend to promote ... so that you are able to offer some value to the visitor who comes to your site looking for a solution.

A significant part of the time I spend on research is in researching the product(s) I promote ...

Do this and the time/effort spent will pay off and you will see more consistent income from your Internet marketing efforts as well as return visitors. Otherwise its simple a matter of hit-or-miss.

Hmmm... I posed this keyword question to myself and realized that since I could add my own articles, I could add my own keywords via my article titles.

With this software I can make my niche site into a nice content aggregator and therefor attract more traffic. I use the word aggregator since this tool pulls content from new sources like news feeds, press releases, forums, videos, podcasts, etc ... not the usual places like eZine articles, Articalebase, Yahoo Answers etc ...

If you mesh your unique content with the aggregated content, your site will be very useful to the visitor ... and you will not get a duplicate content penalty ...

Site Profit Bot is almost like using Yahoo pipes to assimilate content ...

You can read my full analysis on my blog.

      Hope this helps.

If that is the product site, save your money. How long would you spend there? As melody said using the tools she mentioned that would be 20x better. And 297.00 to flip a site. Lets get real on what value is. You buy a domain etc. you pay for the right to use a tool and then you have to pay for the right to sell your work. Really......

But how can that possibly be enough content to get a high ranking in google unless there is very little competition for your keywords? Do you shoot for very low competition keywords and then just write a few articles 5-10? Is that really enough content?

How many articles do you have to write for a niche website with "medium" competition, say 10,000-20,000 competitors for your keyword? And do you target a different keyword in each article? Finally, how many keywords will you target for one niche site?

Thanks for any help. Do you do any private consulting?
          Hi webmind,

Thanks for the feedback ... if the site did not look credible or met my personal quality standards, I would not have put it up and written a word recommending the product. As a matter of fact I did not do anything different in generating the site than the demo video shown on JP's site. It worked the way they showed it works.

Regarding your question on how to rank on Google ... its a process you follow ... and the key to it all is market and keyword research ... you have to keep digging until you find a niche that has -

          a) high traffic
          b) low-to-medium competition
          c) high commercial value and
          d) the most important element - good products (from an earnings and market standpoint) to promote, ....

Once you get that niche and collect all the associated theme keywords then its about writing up content keeping in mind -

          a) the article title (has to have your keyword in it),
          b) article theming (some refer to it as LSI),
          c) keyword density and
          d) tags ...

If you get this right, then its good enough to write a single article per keyword ... but it doesn't stop here ... you need to promote these specially targeted keyword articles on your site by pinging, social bookmarking etc...

If you do this right you can be surprised at the results ... I have got page 1 rankings of my posted articles within minutes of publishing in the chosen niche ... many times with hardly doing any promotion.

The key is also to track your page ranking for the keywords. I use Market Samurai for tracking.

Regarding how many keywords would you target for a niche site? ... the simple answer is it depends on the niche and the extent of your keyword research...

Feel free to PM me any questions or post them on this forum or on my blog ... I will do my best to guide you ...

Very very good way of summing it up, thank you so much! I landed here then very quickly started to worry with concerns after what I was reading.. this didnt work that wasnt functioning etc.. Ive been researching this since Ewen's email came in debating & not wanting to let a good thing get away on me here by spending too much time deliberating, I hate this phase & the feelings it brings lol. So, everything worked out for you np with the installation, great. I have vista too. Now, unfortunately this software does NOT do the market research for us, lol we do still have responsibility to pick our own niches, but thats a good thing to be in control over Id think..Try finding something within the 0-10,000 mark with 1000+ searches (I know, I know..) that would be optimal! -no that would be a small miracle lol but they DO exist.. look at the possibilities here, how many we can churn out & just focus on the campaigns..
Thank you so much for sharing your site, once I seen that I felt better. Im still not liking the templates, hoping they get nicer, I wonder if we can sumbit our own custom code for them I think I seen something about that Im going to check back.
            Thanx again.

It occurred to me after watching all the videos on the sales page, that the site created in the demo was done so around a single keyword.

We all know that people rarely type a single keyword into a search engine.

So I'm wondering if it still works using keyword phrases and long tail keywords as a basis to generate a site. For example, " how to win at gambling in poker".

Would it create a site around the keyword "poker' or around "gambling" or indeed around "win" ??

From what I understand (and guess - since there is no way to validate this) Profit Bot taps into social media tags to put together the most popular keywords in any given niche, and displays up to 20 related keywords for your niche.

IMHO , you can further strengthen your website authority in your niche by adding your own articles that are optimized for other traffic long tail keywords, based on your own keyword research.

      Hope this helps ...

While I agree with your assumption, it still doesn't clarify whether or not you can build a site by entering a phrase rather then a single word.

Using the example I set before.... if someone wanted a site on gambling but wanted several ways in which to gamble, say poker, horse racing and lotto, I wonder what the result would be??

          Hi,

From what I've seen happen, you need to enter a NICHE keyword or key phrase ... (not a long tail or micro niche keyword since the returned results would be less/narrow) ... SPB fetches relevant content relative to the niche ...

In the test site I set up, I used the keyword 'learn guitar' ... SPB went out and fetched all content and keywords related to 'learning guitar'. You can check out the site - Latest News and Information on Learn Guitar ... if you click on the 'Popular Tags' tab in the featured box you will see the list of keywords SPB collected ... and the whole site is themed around learning guitars.

If you click on the 'Blog' section you will see the articles I input there in addition to some related content SPB pulled from the blogsphere ...

Like I mentioned in my strategy piece on how to best use the software on my blog (see my signature below), here is where you can create content on the site based on your own unique content and built around long tail or other high-traffic-low-competition keywords that will help with the overall ranking of your website in the chosen niche ...

Hope I have been able to address your questions ...

I've been also receiving emails promoting this product SPB. From what I see I don't like it:

    1- Big and confusing sales page;
2- No link to demo sites (at least I didn't find it)
3- Sites created (found in this thread) are disappointing

I can not understand how a 10 page site can dominate SEs or get good positions on SERPs competing with hundreds of wordpress blogs with hundreds pages.

From my point of view it could be a nice tool to park domains and... nothing else. At least as a "30 second builder".

If we use it to display PLR and unique articles it could be better but if that is the case why should we replace wordpress (free, extensible and SE friendly)?

I'm also disappointed with "my" referrers. "Big dog" gurus mailing their lists (where I'm included) about this product, offering big bonus and saying this is great...

Result: Bad move. They lose one subscriber and my trust.

This is such a great forum with lots of informative feedback. This SPB product caught my eye as I am vacation in Disney Orlando. I have Master Mage program, somewhat complicated, but produces a good product after the site is set up.

I always go back to if its easy to set up (e.g. 30 seconds), it may be to good to be true or profitable. This could be a good practice program for the novice. I received an interesting email from another marketer (starts with a "H") with a video telling us not to purchase the SPB. I have never received this type of email before. This markerter said JP (of SPB) does produce good products, but that SPB was not one he recommended.

As some commented above, I didn't like the longgggggggggggg sales page and don't like the surprise needed upsells. With that said, buy it and try for the novice, then return it within 60 days it not getting traffic and sales.

Hello everyone! I am so thankful for this forum! I have been wanting to purchase the site bot myself & wanted to find out the downside of the software & was having trouble finding anything but good reviews.. I surely didnt expect to find anyone with sample sites yet as its still fairly fresh to the market, I am completely blown away from what this product does in such little time! Being huge on Social Media I think that is such an added bonus as everything moves forward to real time in the internet world, people will stay on your pages longer. Also Id like to point out everything opens up in your site, not off site. Theres PLENTY of opp to advertize your own products, I dont see why ppl are thinking theres not. You can replace the adsense/ebay/amazon ads with your own as well as pop overs, peel ads etc.. on top of text linking and do all the tracking & split testing for you. They take the initial work out for us so we can focus on our campaigns & driving traffic. Only thing Im left wondering is about naming the site, Can we not name it whatever we want or is it always the keyword we submit? Jewelery, play guitar,etc.. Im not getting that part i suppose.

For whatever it's worth - Someone was asking about using long-tailed keywords. I built a few sites today and two of them were (semi) long-tailed. It seemed to work with them although it's possible that the two-word phrases I used fit together well enough that they each brought in similar posts.

More experimentation is necessary (I say in my best Dr. Frankenstein voice) but I have a good feeling that it works.

I'm wondering about the Amazon affiliate aspect though. The software only asks for your Amazon ID, not for the AWS Key or Secret Key.

Can some technical whiz out there tell me how that can work? Doesn't Amazon require those two impossible-to-remember numbers?

Hey Uncle Don - this whole internet marketing business is a mine field. There always seems to be something popping up to stop us in our useful endeavours.

Have you filled in all of the required fields in the Site Profit Bot process? If something went wrong there you wouldn't get your finished site, probably just a screen with the word index on it and a few other non-useful tidbits.

How long before you built the site did you buy the domain? And did you buy it through your host or something like GoDaddy or NameCheap?

If you bought it through one of those it usually takes a little while - a few hours to a couple of days - to find its way home to your host. If that's the case, try again tomorrow.

If that's not it, you may have entered some info incorrectly in Site Profit Bot, although I think it gives warnings.

At any rate, I'd guess, if it's not a temporary domain problem you might want to take another look at the Site Profit Bot screen with the phrase "You're almost done. Simply click the Generate Power Site button ... " near the top.

Where it asks for Server, Type in ftp.domainname.com or whatever - don't add www before the name.

Username is the name your host gave you when you signed up with them and the Password is whatever you chose for your website.

Where it says Path, that's where you type in the "full path to the folder of your site install" which is s fancy way of saying, type in "public_html/domainname" without the quotes and without the .com or .net or whatever you have, and where domainname is whatever domain you registered.

Then, of course, click on Generate website and then Upload Website, and Bob's your uncle.

I apologize if I missed your point and gave you information that you already had but you never know what can go wrong with this stuff.

Eeeh ???.........the sites generated looks like crap and are a lot out of topic. Just like the niches in a box crap and niche video site builder by JP. I have spent hours (more than a year) and a lot of $ on JP´s products.

Here is one of the sites that continually breaks down (for everyone who have one or hundred videosites setup with his "nice" video site builder script). I am showing my sites so you might see a pattern that they break down even if you leave them untouched (later with my niches in a box site, and I paid for installation).

OK, I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST LINKS IN POSTS YET, BUT WHERE VIDEO THUMBS WAS THERE IS NOW EMPTY SPACES.

All my island video sites is like this and all other niche video websites his "wonderful" script generates/poops out. And I am very excited waiting for a solution in the forum for this so I can go in and copy paste code into ALL my video sites (And he let me do it more than once a year too . Yes,yes,yes.... He has such a good rep lol....... Yes because he convince people of it (not the products)......but products isnt valuable.

And what about niches in a box ? Here is one of my sites that were just fine before.
Click at one of the mini sites on first page:

OK, I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST LINKS IN POSTS YET, BUT ALL ARTICLES ARE GONE, INVISABLE (REMEMBER THAT I PAID FOR INSTALLATION).

How is this site ? I paid $40 for installation..... Thumbs up !!!
    Same with this one:

OK AGAIN, I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST LINKS IN POSTS YET, BUT ALL ARTICLES ARE GONE, INVISABLE (REMEMBER THAT I PAID FOR INSTALLATION !! : ) ).

Inside niches in a box I was told that I had to "rewrite all the 300 articles, there is just no way around that" !!! It was a member webinar, a member who has been successful. Eeeh.....readymade site for you....eeeeh. Then there was also a service where they could change the whole site into a unique blog theme, I think it was for about $300 for the first site and then a lower fee for all other sites if I use the same theme. That I find on the inside and support said "that the search engines changed, about 4 months ago, so you need to get it changed into a unique blog theme"

Also a lot of the Niches is actually in very high competition and not at all possible for you and me to really get in. I researched the subject keywords on a few of the 15 mini sites on my niches in a box site. Result was that the keywords were to competitive and those that was even close to be worth competing for were weird/not related. Same on all the niches released by JP.

I have also been told by JP himself something like this: "I should not be focusing on google because they keep changing the rankings and rules......so dont think much of them, use social sites instead and such....."

Of course there is some truth to this, BUT it would be a big mistake to think you cant follow some basics and succeed with Search Engine marketing in google. Google is trying to keep searches and sites they show being of value, some quality. If you use Copyscape you can check if there is any site that has the same content as yours. I did, and there was a lot of Niches in a box sites with the exact same articles.....oh yeah I forgot.......I have to rewrite the 300 articles that are included every month.... Now they arent even visable...

Learn basic golden rules and avoid crap products like this that waste your time and money:
There is 3 golden Rule videos in Youtube showing Market Samurai and it tells a lot more then only keyword research. (I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST LINKS HERE YET).

(Market Samurai dont have any affiliate program yet, but they give you the keyword research module for free (after the trial) and that is not a small thing)

templates may look a bit plain, but they can easily be modified. and for $67 bucks, compared to $1297 for some products that do just what this one does, what would you go for? You'd easily make the $67 back within a month from just two sites if one picks the niches properly.

Just open up index.php page in dreamweaver, it'll list all the other php includes... one by one, take a copy of the include php pages and add it to the index.php page in replace of the include php function.

once you've done all that you can get a general idea of how the entire site was made.

Then you can create your own template, then add the necessary php code functions to output the results.

I'm no php coder, but I can build pages just fine. and I'm pretty sure others who have the logic to build div tag websites can do this.

When I get the time next year I'll pop over some templates for ppl to use.

All these darn sales pitches over and over and over again!! It keeps wasting my time. While this product may be the cats meow for some, it is just another tool, its not the first and it won't be the last. The big question one needs to ask is "do I need this product in my business right now?" This product, or some new variation of it, will always be available. Perhaps a "side channel" worth dumping some time and effort into, but I wouldn't expect buckets of cash.

Thanks warriors for saving me from wasting money too!

Purchased a few days ago and today I have the chance to upload one site for testing. It ends up without pulling anything. Checked knowledge base and found that I left listed items blank. Oh well, I have to regenerate the site. But it only takes 30 seconds, isn't it? It is easy to upload my own articles to a separate folder. Just wish JP can give us more control over the content because there are always some relevancy issues with these auto tools. Anyway, I will test it for 60 days and decide if I will keep it.

Andy, your site does include lots of irrelevant contents, especially on press section:
Individuals In Vegetative States Can Learn, Scientists Find
Blacks Suspect Stealth Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic (North Carolina)
Soldiers Learn to Assist With Surgeries
Humans Appear Hardwired To Learn By 'Over-Imitation'

These contents are obviously related to "learn" but not "guitar"

WPRobot 2.0 has just released. It makes much more competitive. Now I can virtually do the same thing as WP Mage does at a fraction of cost. Competition is good!

Yes, I know .. I have put in a request to JP to update the application so that in fetches no content if there is no relevant content with a simple user friendly message such as - "there is no information for [keyword] in the [forum/blogsphere/news/...] at this time ...blah, blah, blah ..." and provide a link to the articles page, where there definitely would be unique content ...

Hope JP is reading this thread and that he does make some changes ... the application is new and there is scope for improvements ...

What I like about this software is that it brings content in from a wider range of sources other than the regular Yahoo Answers, ezine Articles, Articlebase, YouTube which every other program uses ...

Has anyone any suggestions on an Auto Blog Site Builder?
I am a blogger and personally I like building blogs
It normally takes me about 4 to 6 hours to build from scratch using the semi-reloaded theme, and about 16 or so plugins.
what I need is something that cuts this time to half or less.
I have tried WordpressExpert but am not at all impressed with the theme, it's headers and the layout. here again, I have to spend some good many hours to sort it out. Furthermore, expanding it is a real chore!

      Hi,

You could use a plugin like WP Cloner .. there are a couple of them around ... this could save you some time ...

Also if you are installing a number of WP blogs check out WPmanagerDX for ease of managing them.

I hope JP can release some tools that can easily convert any theme into SPB compatible one. I know it's against his upsell strategy for Pro level. Like I mentioned in a previous post on this thread ... It used to take me typically 10 hours to put up a quality niche site ... with Site Profit Bot it now takes me 8 hrs and 30 secs ... the time I save is in generating the site and piecing together secondary content on auto pilot ...

BTW, the 'learn guitar' site I put up is only a demo site and is not designed to make me any money or generate traffic .... I just set it up to test the software and to find the loopholes in the product ...

I guess one should wait for the debuging to take place after the initial problems of the launch before venturing to buy.

Anybody in this thread have any ideas or review notes on the Silo Site Creator

This product have existed a looong time, initial debugging ? I would like to show you my sites that were perfectly fine for a long time, then content (article area gone) and the niche video site builder script, the thumbnials for videos are empty now. Those hings has happened more then once and yes JP comes up with a solution after some time...BUT in my opinion I rather have sites created that are stable after setup and dont break down more than once a year.
I mean, getting encouraged to setup many sites and then go in and change code more than once a year on ALL of them.

I have to few post so I am not allowed to post links yet.

Andy, if the Learn Guitar site is only demo, what are you waiting for? Why not quickly put a REAL site up? I was using an IE compatible browser called Ace browser to view your Learn Guitar site and when I clicked on one of the articles to "read more", it fetched the content dynamically but the problem is that the inline content occupies the whole browser screen and I am not able to view base template. There seems to be a browser compatible issue with the generated website.

Correct me if I am wrong, I have read elsewhere about Google Search Engine not indexing sites that fetch dynamic content. That is because, I think, how would Google bot crawls content that has its source located elsewhere and is only parsed and shown on the aggregator site when clicked upon?

So, do you agree that it is not a matter of duplicated content co-existing elsewhere that will affect any SERP ranking but that Google bot, by its algorithms, will not or is not willing to index such content as originating from an aggregator site, which SPB generated sites really are anyway.

I bought the Site Profit Bot Website Building software program, because I liked the concept and benefits as outlined in the offer, they seemed to address my area of need. So I took the dive and placed my order.

With great enthusiasm, I quickly install the v 1.0 program without issue. Let me share with you my experience to date.

          Site Preparation:
          1. Profile - created
          2. Adsense ID - none
          3. Ebay or Amazon IDs - none
          4. Display results - blank
          5. Email - done
          6. Name - done
          7. Template - selected
          8. Keyword - done
          9. Select Profile - done
          10. Google Analytics - none
          11. Google Analytics ID - none
          12. High Impact Ads - none
          13. Articles - 1
          14. Generated the website
          15. Uploaded

So as you can see from the list above I wanted to see how the basic functions would work before I attempted to be creative. When I viewed the site, it was a big disappointment.

          On Site Situation:
          1. No content shown
          2. Article shown ok. I noticed an error in the article and decided to edit and re-upload
          3. Original article with dashes in the headline and part of the newer version was shown but it would not allow me to read the entire article.

That was the start of many hours of experiments which all failed to produce the results needed. The following was done:

          1. Installed v 1.1 - result was the same. The article now shows the 1st paragraph in a larger font than expected.
          2. Followed videos and created power ads which worked fine.
          3. Changed web host and got some content result but the article problem continued.
          4. I was now about to chuck the program then I read a post on the Knowledge Base; I then entered a number in for the results section of the Profile. The result was dramatic. Lots of relevant content.

          Solution:
Now, you may say the training videos told me to do that, but for me, some important details were omitted or not stated clearly. One must do the following:

          1. Put a number in the Results section of the Profile. This number has nothing to do with Amazon, or Ebay. Just put in a number. I use 10.
          2. Do not put a dash in the article heading. That was my problem.

          Conclusion:
Although I was very upset with the problems, I was committed to the concept. With the help of my Gypsy friend, we made every effort to resolve the issues and in the process we have learnt a lot.

I am now comfortable with the program and have since created 3 Websites in 2 shakes of a duck's tail and looking forward to having more templates.

This is also posted on my Blog @ affiliatebiztoday.com I will be making some recommendations shortly.

          Kenji,

I have put up a few REAL sites in the past few days ... will not be advertising them on this forum, though ...

Here's one I will share ... its built with a combination of Site Profit Bot and Wordpress with WP-Robot - Christmas Gifts | Ideas and Information ...

The entire site (including the domain) is a few days old and I am closely tracking the results ... there's both auto generated and unique content in the blog ...

This is supposed to be how it the site is designed so that your visitors won't leave your site even when they click external links! ...external links will open in an overlay window they can close at any time.

Only time, tracking and testing will tell whether your reading is write or wrong ... there is no definitive answer out there over how Google's indexing algorithm works and Google will never publish it. . Also what may be true today may not be so tomorrow.

JP is following a completely different paradigm with regards to site building and SPB has been built based on this ... one major difference is that SPB is generating and theming content using Keywords based on Social Media Tags .... haven't seen any other program do this before ...

              Kenji,

I've covered the process for creating the SPB-WP combo site on my blog (see details in my signature) ... if you need more info PM me and I'll explain ...

SPB generated the site in under 60 secs (after spending 20 minutes modifying the template that came with the software) ... I spent another 40-odd minutes generating the Wordpress blog with WP-Robot and posting my own articles ...

I'm using the base version of SPB.

              Hope this helps.

Here is another site I put up yesterday for my wife (and before you ask, no she's not pregnant)...:p

Information, Resources & Tips for New Moms Pregnancy

This is an example of an SPB site nested within a Wordpress site ... why do I do this? ... so that I have more control over content and affiliate promotions, while tapping into content from the social networks thru SPB ... the end result is that due to the wide range of content, I am able to provide more visitor value and they would spend more time on the site ...

Here are my thoughts so far after playing around with SPB these past weeks ...

              1. It is a good program and can generate organic traffic ... in fact the demo learn guitar site (Latest News and Information on Learn Guitar) I put up on day one has already paid up half of the software cost, without me doing any promotion ... (Adsense revenue) ...

              2. I think it is a good strategy to use content pulled from social media site using social media tags as keywords ... your site would be current with the inclusion of the ongoing conversation or buzz that is happening in the social media space within your niche ... and the time it takes to do it with SPB is simply a bonus.

              3. I've used just one template and have made them unique without playing around with the php code, by simply changing the background image (don't say it looks ugly or spammy) ...

I personally believe JP has a winner with this one ...

              Hope this helps ...

                Andy,

                Thanks for sharing.

Did Googlebot crawl your sites? Was any of the sites indexed? I believe you can find out if Googlebot come crawling to your sites from your webhost's webstats for your sites. Anyway, if you are getting organic traffic without promoting the site, then most likely your site is indexed but it is still interesting to know where your organic traffic come from. Do you install any kind of web analytics? I use Statscounter for my sites and it can show all kinds of statistics so I will know where my traffic comes from.

                Thanks again.

                  Hi Kenji,

Yes, both the Learn Guitar & Christmas sites were indexed is less than a week ...

1,410 pages of my Learn Guitar site have already been indexed (you can check by entering - site:valuehideout.com/learnguitar/ - in Google).

The interesting point is that most of the organic search came via social media tag keywords ... which proves JP point.

I always squirm when I see these kind of posts. But I have to defend JP here. I've contacted him and his support desk several times with questions about different products over the years. I've always gotten timely and helpful responses. And I always feel that JP goes the extra mile to over-deliver. As I said previously, he updates the products with new features and they keep getting better. He has already announced additional templates will be available to SPB owners. I am happy with it so far... still learning how to use it best.

I just created one SPB site after learning from mistakes. Now everything looks fine and visitors continuously increase and am starting getting AdSense income from this site in less than two weeks! I think SPB focuses less than Google traffic but more on social networking traffic. So sometimes I have to drop off my traditional page ranking stuff.

Hi All - Enjoyed reading all the comments on SPB. I am a IM newbie (have been "learning" for about 1 year now) and I bought SPB basic for $67 about 2 weeks ago off an e-mail from Eric's tips.

I own an offline business that I have several domains registered related to it, so I built a site for one of those. I have also since registered 2 more domains after doing some kw research with Market Samurai and built a site for that - internet marketing related, thank you very much.

I agree, the sales page was long and confusing, but I watched a 5 min video Eric did and was able to build a site in a couple of minutes. I had more problems with where to put the damn files once I built it (new to the whole pulbic_html thing). But, once I figured it out, it was a cinch.

I agree, it will be interesting to see what Google thinks of these sites, when they get crawled.

On a positive note, after I registered one of my domains, I put a banner add up on it (in the basic version, you can add 2) for a twitter related product that has an affiliate program (which I joined). Then I clicked on the banner ad and bought through my own affiliate link. Saved half the cost of the product .

I purchased SBP on the first day of release mainly from the interest
generated on the whole Mage program which I declined to get.

I had a bunch of domains that were sitting unused because I was
too busy (lazy) to put up a site on them. SPB made that extremely
easy and now they are at least being used until I actually need them
      for projects.

If you go to the forum (if you own SPB) there are some active people
on there as well as JP himself working through some rough spots that
some people are having. New templates are coming up along with
user adding their own images at the top, so they are and will be
      looking pretty good.

The main focus it seems on the forum, is people looking at building
hundreds of these sites with only a few little changes in each one.
So it will basically come down to the speed at which these sites can
be put up to earn money versus another program that takes a while
to build and tweak and test etc...but only a few built.

I see a lot of people here saying how ugly they are and just garbage
sites. Personally I don't think they are that bad and I suspect once the
new templates come out and a new program update or two come in, plus
good people like Andy in the above posts step in to give some POSITIVE
ideas on some relatively quick alterations, then possibly they will be some
pretty nice sites built at fast speeds.

For someone like me who has more projects on the go than I have time for,
the idea of building lots and lots of sites quickly sounds like a great idea,
even if it's to get my head out of a frustrating project. I'll put up some quick
sites on some a bunch of lesser known niches, if nothing comes back then
so what, I lost 5 minutes of time. I'll put up another bunch and forget about
them while I clear my head on the frustrating project I'm currently on.

The bottom line is I'm getting off my ass and actually doing something much
unlike some of the other posters who are so damn negative about almost
everything and bitch about not having a magic program that automatically
makes beautiful moneymaking sites that wins the applause and admiration
from people all over the world. For $67, it was very cheap for me to own a
warp speed site maker when I want to just play around with unique niches
even if it's just to see if I get any hits. Then maybe I'll make a more cleaner
site. So I'll just call SPB my bird dog to sniff out any potential game who come
to my quick sites. Whether or not these type of sites, including Mage and all
the others ones that are in the same category, hold up in the Googles eyes
are another thing, but I'll have some fun with building them regardless.

I'll been a member of this forum for a few years and I have spent thousands
of dollars each year on stuff that I didn't find interesting or wasn't something
that I wanted to try. I don't refund, so they sit collecting dust on my hard drive.
They may be good but don't fit what I'm doing as a theme at the time. I don't
say much as shown on my post count, but I watch and learn as see too many
people bitching because they still haven't found the magic wand to turn them
into the internet marketing guru lifestyle that marketers are pitching.

I seem to going off on a rant, probably some built up tension from reading the
same stuff all these years from people who don't at least give some worthwhile
information to help the community here.

So thank you Andy and Melody and even Loz, who I'm waiting for to release his
warp speed program, for some insightful, helpful posts.

It will be interesting once Loz has his program up to see how some of the
other guys who he has had a somewhat combative discussion, will have
      to say in their review.

Anyway, too much complaining and not enough building. Let's get to it ladies
      and gentlemen.

      Hi All,
I have continued to use the Site Profit Bot Software and learning more ways to do things; I have made a few adjustments so far; changed one of the images used by the template, just to personalize it somewhat. Basically the program does what they say it would do, in terms of the speed in creating a website.

As a Customer/User, my wish list for improving its usefulness, are:

      1. Better templates, period. Of the 3 provided I have found one of them not working properly (Pure Template) which caused me to use one twice over my three sites.

      2. The Profile should store all the input information including the ad spots customizations I made...this would save me the time spent on work-a-rounds as well as reducing the chances of making errors.

Incidentally, switching to HostGator, did make my life easier.

Well that is my 2 cents for now. You may view my sites as shown. I would appreciate any comments.

          Hi Kenji,

As stated in my 1st post, no content was shown, edited articles were duplicated and some pages did not render well. It seemed there was an issue with the .htaccess function. I had already changed from a Windows to a Linux package. Numerous telephone discussions with the hosting provider did not resolve the issues.

When I switched to HostGator without changing anything in the program settings, the result was unbelievable except for one aspect of the article which was a formatting issue on my side. For the 1st time I saw the Site Bot as it was designed. All hosting issues were resolved.

I have only spoken to HostGator once to clarify their offer before I switched. In terms of hosting issues they have made my life easier.

              You're welcome Kenji.

              Good news
Site Profit Bot will release a new version, V1.2 in less than a week from today.

I received an email from JP earlier today. The new version will have a "Save Project" feature. As I understand it, it will save all inputs from profile through to the FTP settings.

Guys, I take no credit for this decision, it may have come about due JP's own realisation that this is the way to go or because of suggestions from others. Regardless, it is welcomed news.

He further stated that the upgrade will be free of charge.

The problem I find with site profit bot is everybody using the same templates.

I feel that I have designed unique templates - colour change, removal of ebay, new layout, review section and lots more.

I offered these templates to members of spb for free but the owner JP told me that I wasn't allowed.

If you look at the sites below, I'm sure you will agree they are an improvement on the original templates.

      Mick,
Can you provide a link to your free templates? Will your templates be able to integrate with the SBP niche generator?

      Thanks in advance.

Thanks to everyone who has commented or pm'd me regarding the templates I have created for site profit bot.

Apologies for not being able to reply to the numerous pm's but I am unable to reply until I have posted 50 posts (is this true moderator?)

If I'm not breaking any rules, you can always email me at "info at guidanceon.com"

JP gave the following response when I offered these templates to members for free:

"You cannot sell, distribute, or do anything other than for your private use with our software. This software and script running the templates are copyrighted and you only get the right to edit the template to fit your needs, but only my company can develop and distribute templates. Reasons are multiple: but here are some of them. It's a commercial product and we control its distribution and branding, all templates are supported by our company and we could not start supporting 3rd party templates"

I fully understand and have to respect JP's response, but I have asked whether he would allow me to tutor people on customising the templates - still awaiting response.

All I was hoping to do was help people who were struggling to get to grips on customising the templates.

The templates are simply a modification of the original templates provided by site profit bot and work in exactly the same way. There is nothing additional to do to get the software to work with my templates.

One idea I did have was to provide free tuition and guidance to anybody who brought the software through my affiliate link. Honestly guys customising these templates to your requirements is easy to do.

Please remember if you would like to email me you can do this direct or via any of the site profit bot sites below.

    Very nice work, Mick.

Did JP give any reason why he didn't want you to offer these? Off the top of my head I can't see any harm in it.

It might even add to the reasons to buy SPB for those trying to decide.

Mick, I, and I'm sure many others on this forum, appreciate your efforts to help us out with the templates. I bought Site Profit Bot and I think one of the weakest limitations of it is the variety of templates.

I know we're told that new ones are being produced but there's really no reason at all why we should be limited to any finite number. Perhaps JP has plans on selling templates down the road sometime. Can't blame him for that, I suppose.

You were very courteous in asking JP for permission and I understand you wanting to respect his wishes even though you're not fooling around with his software or other copyrighted material.

    Thank you for your generosity.

    Doiron,

I don't have all the facts here but I would assume that JP made you agree to various terms and conditions when buying his product. You seem to be suggesting to Mike that he break these terms and conditions - and that's got my little moderator antennae shaking like mad ;-)

I don't know the exact situation, I know you're all sensible and trusted posters but I just want to express a word of caution.

Pearson, I might have been unclear, but I am certainly not suggesting that Mick go against JP's request. Personally, I can adapt the templates myself so I'm not in need of Mick's offer, although I can still see the goodwill involved.

My point was that Mick was, in fact, being quite the good guy in this case and that's an admirable thing.

To address your point, which is tangenital to mine, I cannot find anything in the agreement with JP, either on the sales page or in any purchase confirmations, that prohibit someone offering templates for free. Actually, I can't find anything that says he can't sell them although nobody wants that.

So my point was that Mick is showing a level of respect in voluntarily withdrawing his offer, even though not legally compelled. From the perspective of my old eyes, that's something that's rarely seen nowadays.

But perhaps I'm somewhat of a curmudgeon.

Doiron, sorry but you're wrong. Included in the package you download AS WELL as directly inside the member's area you have a license file. This license clearly stipulates those limitations. Also, general terms of my company apply meaning that when you get a product with private use rights, then simply made you can't distribute it. These are quite common terms and I am not sure it's worth discussing it. Would you distribute EXCEL or Windows illegaly because you think it would do good for the community.

I appreciate the efforts Mick did, but in all honnesty, those templates are not up to our standards. The extra stuff make the templates look heavy with no clear structure and most of all this has not been tested. Further more we control what is made with our product and brand. We don't currently want any template provider let prospects or customers think they are "part" of the brand. What if your template is not optimized or is buggy or what will arrive quite often is not compatible with the latest version of the software?

We are updating the software as well as the template (in 2 days we release an update with improved cacheing features...) and your templates will not carry them. Your customers (or those to whom you would redistribute the templates) would end up having issues or not able to understand why it's not working. It will simply harm our business and brand and not yours since this is our product which will be questionned.

It's a NO-NO and that's it. I understand it's not what you want to read, but this is the way it is. Develop templates for yourself and you will do great.

We also have people who will handle training to interested customers related to editing templates. But letting people believe it's a major concern is not true. We have 3000 customers and more, and it's a marginal need.

You've read it extensively on my forum: if you know how to edit a template, do it. If not, why would you waste your time instead of marketing your website, building backlinks and driving traffic? when you install a wordpress theme and that you have no idea how it works or how to create your own, will your first ideas be to tweak the templates or simply to start creating your website using the available capabilities.

SPB is flexible and can be used at many different levels. 95% don't need to edit their templates or create new ones. Since we will provide many more, I think they are right. Some want to customize things. They are right too since this is what they want to do!

Some want to distribute copyrighted material and infringed their license...and even if this is what they want to do, they are not right :-)

JP's concerns and requests are reasonable and within his rights. But I would just point out that one of the things that has led to the enormous popularity of Wordpress and Firefox is the ability for third parties to add to the platforms. Now I know SPB is not open source, but if there were ways that others could add value to it, it could be good for everyone. Again, I don't know the degree to which this could even be possible, but in theory I think it's a good idea.

      • Profile picture of the author Ethiccash
Yes, but since SPB is not open source, it's not worth discussing the difference between open source and commercial license. I am quite surprised people need to be reminded the difference.
Let's call ALL marketers out there: please give away all your products, info products, services, softwares, staff and please stop charging people for these... and most of all, please allo anyone to give them away and distribute them freely, things would be way much simpler.

Let's get real and serious here: you're refering to 2 examples which are not the rules. 99.99% of open source products are open source because their creators have just no idea and not a single clue on how to market them. It's the easy way and it's all free but then what kind of support do you get if you're not Wordpress or Firefox? NONE. Wordpress and Firefox are not a reference in the open source world for this reason. Same as if you were creating a software and woult take Windows as a reference of what is achievable.

If you guys want to give away your systems and allow others to do it, it's plain easy: create a system, hire 10 people to develop and market it, and then just get back here with download links for anyone who wants it for free. It's so darn simple :-)

Just do it and then give lessons.

Andy, glad to read your results... but after driving millions of visitors using this system, this is a scientific approach. The proof I get from your post is that you can do it when you take action. The major issue is with people waiting for things to happen without doing anything. This system works, but of course it won't work for people not doing anything :-)

Yeah Site Profit Bot isn't what it appears to be. I know the idea of getting a million visitors in a year and tens of thousands of dollars in adsense revenue appeals to a lot of us. The increased adsense revenue may be true because those pretty ad images is about the only thing that attracts visitors.

The updated version of SPB 1.3 does provide about a dozen more templates to choose from. I've tested out a few of the newer templates and they aren't formatted correctly. They're too wide causing surfers to have to scroll left and right, a big no no.

The homepage doesn't look appealing at all, even if you do populate your website with your own articles. There's just too much blank space. Everything is aligned to the left and a few things aligned right. The center is pretty much blank.

When you take a keyword and build your site around it that becomes your titles and headlines. So in the case of "Learn Guitar" you would see under the blog tab "Learn Guitar Blog" or under news "Learn Guitar News" I even created some banners to place in the top area to fill the blank space that is left after the keyword title and the keyword just populates over top the banner.

There really isn't much you can do with this software except for making quick junkie content sites to pull in visitors and monetize with adsense. Even the adsense ads are not placed in strategic locations. You get the first one at the top of the page that's nice, but if visitors do go to another page on the site, they'll most likely see the same ad again.

Content Website Builder is way better and it's half the price. At least with CWB I can edit quite a lot of the site with banners, choose my own keywords, get rid of all the stuff that draws attention to your site from SE's like "Powered By" video content is also easily added through feeds.

So SPB is a lot of hype that doesn't deliver and there are way better programs in the same price range and some even cheaper

        Glen,

You're absolutely right. Despite all the the hype out there, it is always important to remind newcomers to the Internet marketing business, that IM is no different from any other business - you need to plan you business, build it and promote it. There are many tools out there that help you execute your business plan quicker and scale your business faster, but these are just tools ... they cannot replace your thinking and creativity to make your business successful. If you focus on creating a plan and taking the steps to acting on it, you will succeed, irrespective of the tools you use.

        My 2 cents.

People wouldn't THINK that if internet marketers didn't constantly PROMISE that.
For example, SiteProfitBot boasts that it is a "push button solution" that cranks out sites in 30 seconds. Almost every IM sales pitch has some variation on that kind of "instant results with no effort" pitch. We keep falling for it, because they keep promising it...with more convincing methods.

The newest post I can find is Dec 09. I didn't think I had been using it that long. I liked it. I'm a domainer, so it really worked for me. I could set up a fairly decent looking website with refreshing content in minutes.
It didn't permit very much of your content. It was advertized that you could publish articules. It was not easy. You had rebuild the site each time. It only takes a minute or two, but still it's a little dangerous. That's what happened to me. I was doing a rebuild/update and something went wrong and I haven't been able to get it to work again.
There was supposed to be no limit on use. The siteprofitbot app. still exists. However I have not been able to get it to function for some months. I have been troubleshooting my webhost but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I keep getting 403 and 404 errors. I'm still trying to fix it.
I still think it is a good idea and there is room to improve the product. I don't know what has happened. There is not proper contact information on the site, strange.
I don't want my money back, I want it to function. If there is upgrades available I would consider them, for a reasonable price, but only if what I purchased before starts to work again.
I'm not emotional about this. It's part of the craft. I just thought I'd give an update.

I just have the basic version and edit the templates to include Clickbank code and also remove some links and sections like the ebay part as i couldnt get an affiliate signup with them.

    B2B Ecommerce Software - B2B Ecommerce Software Solutions B2B

Its number 2 for b2b ecommerce software in Google at the time of writing this.

I have other sites in subfolders of Wordpress blogs as well.

Treated Now | Health news and Articles

The anti-aging, antioxident, health foods and vitamins sections are Siteprofit minisites.

I say minisites as the only real problems i have had are the due to the caching it can take up to 500mb per site and some of the video that get pulled are from Revver not youtube and Revver seems to not work often so the videos do not load.

Theres nothing to stop you editing the template files after the site is created and just uploading the edited section so you dont have to recreate the whole site again. To add more articles just upload them to the blog folder. Make sure though that the titles do not have odd characters in them or hythens or question marks as this can cause problems with some of the internal linking.

To see changes just delete the pages cache file so a new one is created when the page loads.

I like it as i was fed up with constant Wordpress problems, updates, plugin updates Wordpress hacks etc and wanted something simple that could be left alone a lot more. Just the odd check for disk space and any cached files that had strange filenames due the way they are created.

@trimmerman : I am not sure what your issue is. But since it's a desktop software, there cannot be any 403 or 404 error. You just use it as any desktop software to generate the website. If you're refering to the websites you created, then the issue is on the server side.

As allonline reports, you just need to add articles and clean the cache without rebuilding the website when you want to edit it. It's that easy. Also, we have tons of customers making a killing with tis software. It's easy to get hundreds of first page rankings just with one website (due to its internal linking strategy and to the way it collects and display content).

Thank you for the reply. I figured out what the problem was. A person only needs to set all the permissions to 755. I just went into my webhost control panel file manager and changed them. It only took a few minutes.
Thanks for the advice on posting articles, I will be trying it.
I looked at allonline's B2B Ecommerce Software Solutions B2B. The supplied ad spaces seem to stretch up/down a little if you need more space that way. Do you agree?
JP: I intend to start using my siteprofitbot a lot. I think SPB has a lot of potential. However, it could use some improvement. A big space for articles right at the top of the page and an admin area to type or copy the articles on the site would be great. It is necessary for good SEO to have fresh content in that space regularly. Please work on it. I will be posting things I try that prove out to work as they develop.

I have been working with the SPB. I discovered something today. If you do a generic search: "Latest News and Information on" with the quotation marks. You get an almost perfect list of all the SPB sites in your search results. I don't think Google is banning SPB sites. Clearly, they do come up in search results. However, It is quite possible that Google makes our SPB sites "not" fall in the top 1000 of a generic search.
I think users need to be able to control this line of text on our sites. There might be a way. I will work on it.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[3765852].message }}

I have been working on the problem with the generic search. It is simple to correct. You go to the file manager of your web host. Open the "header.php" file with an editor. It's a heavy duty html file, but it is fairly simple surgery to improve. Near the top of the page you will see <title>Latest news and information on<
It is simple text. You can change this to whatever you want. I recommend 70 characters or less so it fits cleanly on the first line of the google search but it can be more. Save the file and it will change almost immediately. If you change it several times in one day it might take three days to fully reconcile but it will. The improvement on a google search is amazing. My site went from nowhere in the first 1000 pages to page three of the search in a few minutes. I will be writing a slogan that is even better soon.
I am still working on getting good looking original posts on the top of the page but I feel it is not much harder. I will keep you all posted.
