What Autoresponder Do You Use?

Alright Guys

Currently I am using norabots for my autoresponder and they charge me about $9.99 per month for unlimited everything.. But I have found sometimes a lot of the software out they that uses autoresponders does not support them..

I have looked at aweber and getresponse but I think the price is too high for the time beign..

I know that aweber is one of the best autoresponders out there, but what puts me off using them is that they charge depending on the number of people that you have in your list...

Aweber is too expensive when they decided to charge depending on your size, the size of your list

I use icontact. I think you are looking at this the wrong way.

If you have a decent size list which is responsive, you should be able to make back your payment to your autoresponder company. If you can't then you should look at ways you can make changes so you do make enough to pay the company.

      Alright Bev

      Thanks for your input

At the moment I am in the process of putting together a membership site. I've already go a script to run one through.. That's all sorted

At the moment I am just creating the layout of how I would like to have the membership site look.

I am thinking of doing different levels at different prices per months.. i.e first 50 people that join will get access for $5.00 per month, the next 50 people 9.99 and so on..

When I have got that all up and running then I should have no problems with other fees etc Then I can consider moving up to aweber....

yeah dude most of these are charging by the size of the list. Aweber is one of the most popular auto responders out there along with Getresponse, icontact.

I myself am not using any autoresponder either right now due to not being able to make the payments.

But for now I think I am going to be using MailChimp..

I personally use both Aweber and Get Response, and have done so for years.

The money I make from my lists easily pays for both services. Now it certainly did not start that way but it was a cost that I included as part of my monthly business expenses.

If price is a concern at this point you may want to look at automateyourlist.com

This is a program by Michael Rasmussen. Now I have not used it I just know of it through his marketing, the price is only $19.95 per month and that's it. And you also have the option to pay by the quarter year, half year and full year.

    Hope that helps

I use getresponse and aweber too. But getting to love aweber more nowadays.

    Is aweber cost?

    Yes and No.

I think it is a question of value you get.

There is much more to an autoresponder service than a small price difference per month.

$19.95 or $49 or $69 per month shouldn't be that big of a deal.

The ease of use of the autoresponder service and how it will help you earn revenue are the biggest things to consider.

Aweber is integrated with many top shoppingcarts - a HUGE plus.

They have great customer service - another huge plus.

Their interface is easy to use (in my opinion) which makes using their service efficient.

These are benefits that I will gladly pay more per month for.

I went with Profollow to start with simply because it's a white label of Aweber. Even though its the same price as Aweber the upgrade cost doesnt start until your list is something like 10,000 vs 500 or something for Aweber.

Apparently Profollow does lack in some of the tracking facilities (I've never looked into yet...).

With hindsight I think I'd have actually tried Get Response to play around with single opt-in results in different niche markets. Profollow and Aweber only allow double opt-in.

I use Aweber and I love them. They deliver the mail and they work closely with ISP`s and email services...

I don`t recommend using any free or self-hosted AR because most of them are already blacklisted or will blacklisted meaning your messages will be delivered straight to junk folder.
(I have tried some free systems when I started and the results were horrible)

If you want to get results, get a pro AR like getresponse or Aweber...

    That`s only my opinion, tho...

Definatly awebber is the way to go, i tried a number of free or very cheap alternatives to this as a way of keeping costs to a minimum to start with but it actually ended up costing me more money with (loss of sales ) as email's were not getting through to my list's. So the monthly fee they charge really is worth its weight in gold (in my opinion ) if you have even a small number of people on your list then one email per month will cover this.

I have been using Getresponse for the past few years and I think that they are pretty good. If Aweber is cheaper, then you can go with them......

I think Aweber is the way to go for most people who are serious but export your list of people now and then. What appeals me to me about having my own set up is being in control but it can be a PITA.

Deliverability has been very good for me with Aweber and I admit I should learn to use it more indepth and make use of the features.

I regret turning on the double optin feature, which to my knowledge can't be changed, but on the other hand it qualifies people so no big deal.

I got in at the old price but even with their newer pricing scheme if you have a list that grows and you pay more you should be making more.

If you don't have the money then try something like GetResponse. If you like it, stay. When you have the money and want to see what Aweber is like then you can.

GetResponse is $1 more per month?

What is this double opt-in feature in aweber?
