RoboForm..Is it Worth it?

Hey Warriors

I was looking at a tool called roboform on the internet.

Some of you guys may have heard of it....Others might've not.

But the tool will save your passwords/address/ credit card

information for you. Basicly some of the features are below

AutoSave passwords in browser.
• AutoFill passwords to login form.
• Click Login button for you.
• Fill personal info into online forms.
• Save offline passwords & notes.
• Generate Secure Random Passwords.
• Encrypt passwords and personal data using AES, Blowfish, RC6, 3-DES or 1-DES algorithms.

• Take RoboForm with you on USB disk for ultimate portability.
• Sync your passwords and notes to Palm or Pocket PC.

I am thinking about buying it especially, now they have a holiday sale but

wanted to get some reviews for the software.

So how is roboform working out for you and is it worth buying?

    May very well be one of the best purchases you ever make for your business.

    And it's only $30 or so.

    Alternative for Mac users is 1 Password which is just as amazing.

    I use it literally every day and have done so for about 3 years now. I can't even imagine the time I've saved cumulatively over that span of time. Has to be in the hundreds or maybe even thousands of hours.

    No brainer. Buy it. But then really dig in and learn all the ways to use it, especially the Custom tab. I use it for link building primarily, but there a ton of uses. One of the best purchases I've ever made for my business.

    Oh, and search for a coupon at Google. I think I got like 20% off when I bought it using a coupon.

    Isn't it kind of scary to just insert all your vital information into a script that hypothetically could have been programed to transfer/forward that information to someone else?

    I have thought about using this but I was very skeptacle of entering all my important passwords, not knowing the trustworthyness of the programmers?

    I would like to use it if I could be assured that there were no hidden backdoors programmed into the software allowing someone to get at my private info?

      I have been using it since 2005 and have never had any of these issues you are afraid of.

      Maybe you should stop using any google tools you may be using because they have all your info and are probably mining that data right now as we speak!! AAAHHH RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!

    Roboform has many users and if it is vunerable, i'm sure that there will be many complaints on the net by now. I've been using it for 2 years and never once were my accounts (email, wp sites, paypal etc) compromised. It's one of my essentials.

    What compromises your password are what you do yourself. Giving out your info, passwords to untrusted sites (phising etc) are what the hackers look for. If your browsing habits are safe, then you are safe.

    I love Roboform. Not only for the save passwords aspect but also when using link packets and the like you save hours. Even better, you can create custom identities for say, article submission. I have one I use that has title, author, body, resource box, and keyword fields. I fill them in once then go to my top 10 article directories and click one button to have it instantly filled in for me. I can submit to 10 directories in 5-7 minutes : )

      I'd re-iterate what everyone else is saying; Roboform falls into the "must have" category of IM tools.

      There's currently an offer on their front page which gives you 20% off. That offer expires Boxing Day but you can use the code "NEVR1" if you miss the Christmas special and still receive the 20% discount.

    If you aren't going to actually use it, then it's not worth buying.

      I've been using Roboform for 3 years now and it's been very, very
      useful. That's one piece of software that you really need. If you
      are going to do numerous marketing tasks yourself it can help
      you keep countless passwords and profiles and even semiautomate
      profile creation.

        RoboForm for me is an essential tool. It helps me to keep track of all of my log-ins.
        I like the feature that you are able to back up your data. You never know when you'll need it.

        I just purchsed a new lap-top and I was able to put all of my RoboForm data on it. (You have to pay a nominal fee to add another computer).

        I recommend RoboForm without any hesitation.

    Considering it is free it would be well worth it even if it did not work.

    Since it is one of the most helpful add ons for firefox it is absolutely bloody wonderful.

    Do you need any more convincing, if you go to cnet reviews for it you will see that 14.5M+ people have downloaded it, cnet rates it five stars and over 2000 users have rated it an average of 4.5+

    In fact the only negative comment that I have ever heard of it is that it doesnt do your memory muscles much good! lol

    If it wasn't good there is no way so many people would go near it, it is simply one of the highest rated programs available anywhere and even with the free version they have not crippled it...but do them a favour, buy a license and help them keep developing.
