I've been using Mattie Blaze hosting. They allow unlimited domains with 1 hosting account. Not sure about the reseller account though.

I hosted over 250 sites on midphase dot com business package, it's my 3rd yr with them, they are currently having 20/25% off promo for first timer. Definitely cheaper than hostgator.

Have any of you used hostgator before and compare the ease of use and customer support to these other suggestions?

Why do you want to move from Hostgator? I ask because I just moved to Hostgator  !!!

Can't say anything about the others as I use One.com in the UK for my main web sites - they are cheap for the first year BUT not to be touched with a barge pole for any serious IM. I hope they won't sue me for this.

i had a problem with one of my forums and i was finally able to get things working but now they shut down a main component of my site for using to much resources. Ive been using the same thing for months with no problem. I believe the problem lies with the multiple reinstallation attemps and such having compounded the resource use somehow during all my problems. However they wont budge or help in the matter.

I can wholeheartedly recommend HostGator as their support has been excellent and I have hosted my properties in a couple of other places before but find HG be the perfect provider at the moment.

        And look, no affiliate link

        Best Wishes

Most cheap shared hosting plans aren't really suited to cope with multiple forums. Have you thought about upgrading to a semi-dedicated or VPS plan for more cpu power?

Ive alway been a fan of hostagator, their servers are setup perfectly for affiliate marketing. With all the modules compiled that you are ever likely to need.

I also have a midpahse account and they come a close second, (while they use The Planet, as does hostgator) they are missing a few minor functions in the WHM such as bandwidth notification and the package modification is not as flexible as hostgators is.

Why do you want to move from Hostgator? I ask because I just moved to Hostgator  !!!
You made the right choice moving to hostgator, im assuming you got a reseller account that is..

I recommend one that no one around here has heard of but the service is phenomenal: just199.com. They have reseller accounts, cpanel and fantastico and then some.
