Income Kick Start by Anik Singal, Anyone?

Did anybody get this? I got the email yesterday... I know it's basically about list building but I'm wondering if there is any true value to what this package provides.

The video was long, promised to 'reveal' the exact system, and then never did. I would chalk it up to being very similar to his other products, which I've not cared much for.

I would almost bet that his system is 'set up blog/site, drive traffic, get an opt in, set up autoresponder, follow up with offers on autopilot'.

Sold at $497 for 500 seats

      $497*500 = 250K

Also, that is based on his prior products (I suspect) - PLnewsletter - which was killed, whereby the owner offerred LifeTime Access to his PPC Classroom customers as a bonus, via certain affiliates.

      See this thread -

      http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...ewsletter.html

To me, this is somewhat unethical business practice.

Offer you "life time" access and then killed it and repackaged it into some other business models...

If you had $497, I suggest you go for John Reese packages of $297. I am no affiliate of John in his promotion. At the time of writing, John is offering a similar product for 250 (as at Jan 31, 2010). I am not recommending this business model - I am just saying at least you can see what you get into (the niches involved and the demo look of the graphics that are included in John's packages). With IncomeKickStart, you have no clue what you are buying, except for the "easy formula" that was pitched in the video... it's just very poor informed decision, if you act on it.

I guess the gurus have figured the way to go after IMers to go niches these days. With these identical packages around, the result would be who has the network to get in the subscribers wins, ultimately.

Folks, get creative and stay away from being a robot, hoping to find ways to print cash.

I LOVE watching these "No Hype Videos" these days. All these videos have the same format - saying how they'd like to help you to stay out of rat race and PROVEN simple, and easy formula. In the middle of it, it's funny to see how they try to comply with the latest FTC legislation by saying this is "not" typical and based on only mathematical projection.

I suspect there must be some "guru" out there professing these type of salesletter and taught a whole bunch of marketers (including the one in this thread) to use their existing products and re-package them into these type of marketing messages... and they stink!

I can almost regenerate their sales plot from a mile away.

Their sales model is they don't reveal much, just there to entice you to be the selected few. With that little information, I am surprised to see why people are willing to pay $500 after watching a "No-hype" video.

If this is not hype, then tell me what it is... perhaps, it's a typo - it should be hope ... based of blind faith.

Also to save you time, I've seen time and time again ... that if you'd like to see the price tag before spending 15 minutes into watching some clueless video.

I suggest you use another browser to test the word: /go, /access, /live at the end of their URL.

99% will work. I guess, that's based on someone's IM video sales letter model and they simply copy the model to a "T" of using a "/GO" for their Order pages.

I've been able to save couple hours of NOT watching these "non-hype" sales letter.

Our industry needs something more than just hype please.

I bought this. I was hoping to see something different if I spent a little bit more this time. I got into the membership area and there is "week 1" training. It only takes about an hour to get through all the videos and do the steps they give you. The video format is terrible, you cannot stop, fast forward or anything... it doesn't even tell you how long the videos are!

So, after I've completed their bare bones instructions, I am left waiting for more instruction. I don't like it when people sell you something cheap at high dollar and its not even complete yet. I continue on my quest for REAL training. I work hard for my money, I don't use credit cards to rack up debt... all I ask for is HONEST, PROFESSIONAL AND QUALITY TRAINING!

I like the guy, but I'm losing respect for him because he talked a big game for this $497 product, but didn't deliver.

Who has ACTUALLY taken action from ANY GURU's training and made money (without scamming people)...enough money to replace their day job? Anyone? Please share numbers and experiences. Thanks!

For your information, I used to have much respect for this guy as well. He's been aggressively promoting stuff, hence I have unsubscribed his newsletter for a couple months, but kept on his PPCclassroom mailing list... and his recent promotions just ... are just too much to swallow - especially his video salesletters.

Again, check out John's program instead, if you are quick, as it's almost sold out. I am not an affiliate of it neither.

Same here. I used to have a high opinion of him.

Then, I purchased something with a monthly continuity on it. After a few months, I tried to cancel it. My emails weren't answered. Numerous ways to communicate were to no avail. In the meantime, my credit card was charged. Only after notifying my credit card company (with proof of my emails) was I able to stop the charges.

I was thinking of purchasing his video as well, but read your email and think that it is probably the same like the other ones out there. The things they mention I'm sure we all can do it ourselves if we want to, we have to put our minds to it and effort of course and learning alot of things. I've been trying to find different products to use and along the way I've learned alot of different things by purchasing small programs, etc... I've spent thousands of dollars on building a network of emails which is have over 4000 members now but don't know how to sell to them because i don't have a product. I've recently purchased an automated program I think this is a really good program, but it requires alot of time to put everything together, but if you don't have a product to sell what do you do? Is there anyone that has any ideas on how to create a product, etc.. Thanks!

Agree with Roy here. What you said is completely true. I just watched his annoyingly long video this morning and decide to drop by at WF to find out more info about it.

Its unbelievable almost everyone is getting on this irritating video format as their launching method. I have received more than half a dozen different offers in the past month all with such video launches. Soon the common folks will get fed-up once they saw these uncontrollable video sites and simple close off the browser and this method will die off faster than you can say 'die'.

AS seem willing to compromise on his reputation by introducing such a product to the market. Its another turnkey product, unsustainable biz model, ridiculously expensive and even tells you that you can sell of your list if one day you decide you don't want the biz any longer (No1 cardinal sin in list-building that any serious IMer should never make).

Anyway, good suggestion by Roy on the URL though. Never thought about it before. At least it helps to save 30mins of time-wasting listening to the same old story time and again.

Guys don't waste your breathe. they sell you a website that captures it's visitors email addresses and then they also provide you with a 52 week email system to spam the email addresses that said website captures...

In the hope that eventually those people that have been spammed will buy something off you i the end..?

I believe the key in these packages is how you are going to drive traffic to your landing page. In my experience, if you use PPC, it's going to be expensive. If you use Article Marketing, you don't know when the results will come in. Besides, surfers do not give their emails easily.

If you are not hot about the topic, you will simply give up before seeing any results.

From a "internet marketing" perspective, it's okay. But from a business perspective, that is if you are in for the long run, it's better to build a full-blown content website.

If you are into these money-makers, John's program is definitely much better than the captioned offer.

    My 2 cents.

After Anik said for first 200, you get 15 ready made biz with list of 500 targetted contact emails to start-off immediately, and did some calculation, it is about $33 per niche with complete immediate start off biz ready to go. I thought it was cheap.

Now that I read the thread here and jessuccess's experience after he bought it and seen the member's area, I am having second thought.

Then again there is really no secrets in this biz and that is why all the gurus' products are reurgitated products. They are all the same information. The only thing that make a huge difference is what kind of Support and personal touch from the creator of the product himself can give you once you paid him.

And what is the % of students who can really quit their day job?

Yes, they don't let you control the video because they want to control you - that is,
to "establish a relationship". That's all. Just a part of marketing.

You can usually find the .mp4 or flash file that is being played and run it outside of the player parameters that they set up for you. Then I can skip through parts of the video.

I found it. And some other goodies too.

I watched the entire video this morning while doing time on my exercise bike. I did however take time off to drive my wife to the train (15 minutes) and missed the part about making millions in the hospital ICU.

The only reason I viewed the video was because Jeff Johnson had sent me the link. He is a guy that I admire and trust because of the great free content available on his site. This is not the first time I had started to watch the video. A couple of days ago, another guru, who's list I am on, had sent me the same link. I did not finish watching because I could not pause or control the video.

Riding my exercise bike while viewing informative videos is a great way to combine activities. I call it ride an learn.

This morning I feel however that I could have used my time more productively way. I think most of us in this business while hoping for a quick $500 shortcut must realize that these kind of offers rarely pan out.

Thanks for some of the great replies above me.

Here is what i am taking a way from watching the video.

I love the formula for success
Relationship = Trust = More Money

*1 email is worth $1 per month
I do CPA and this number is proven with my own test, I have done a campaign that gave me $2.80 per email submit, made over $1500 in one week

Small commitments leads to larger commitment

I learned this from my mentor Marshall Sylver. this strategy is used to train animals to at the zoo to jump flip play basketball. and the same is used at your job to clock in and clock out to receive little rewards called paycheck.

if you want to bypass this whole system and just build your list you can do with co-register site like listbuilderpro
    500 opt-in subscribers per
    month for 3 months

1500 opt-in subscribers total for only $97 that is like 6.5 cents per lead

your acquisition cost is 6.5 per lead and it is worth $1 per month $12 per year
    your ROI is 18,361 %
now the trick is come up with great pre-qualifying Title and Description and the best place to create the highly targeted headline ... I use the headline generator FREE (if you want the link just send me the message - since i am new here)

you can get cool landing page template at wix.com and make go viral and it has a built in feature to upload to many sites.

And want viral traffic, I used turobuzz and it has viralinviter software will bring in leads by the word of mouse. this tool made me over $2500 in just one campaign with only $197 investment.

my first list of 500 last year was responsible of at least $8000 in sales.
and if I had to do it all over again. I will just pick up Anik's course and start out winning.

Here is the bottom line, "my time is more precious than any money. and professionals have coaches, armatures do not" I appreciate the video and I admire and model successful people.

P.S. Do not believe anything I say here, it is not because I am right or wrong... it is simply my own experiences and the only truth is your own experiences.

P.P.S. "Stop learning from your mistakes, you life is too precious to be wasted on mistakes! Instead start learning from success." Frank Kern at Strategic Profits Seminar

This kind of stuff gives internet marketers a bad name.

Let's look more closely at the sales pitch...
    "Establish relationships by building trust"
And you do that by forcing people to sit through a sales video with no controls? By not showing any of the sites or graphics or materials that you are selling? Yes, that builds my trust

    "Eliminate the hype"
By using a lot of fake numbers to establish the value of your product? By creating artificial scarcity? By using wild income projections, and then saying they are just mathematical examples? It turns out the whole sales pitch was hype. I would offer to pay $497 for this system... but not real dollars, just the mathematical figure

And what can you say about a system that is supposed to make you able to quit your day job, but that is run completely by his "team", who are apparently still doing their day jobs. One must wonder why these people who are supposedly so good at picking niches and developing websites are willing to do it for a salary and hand it over to you so that you can make $150K/yr... doing what exactly? Wait for it.... copy and paste!

I have a better idea... Why doesn't the Team do the copying and pasting for me (because I am too lazy and clueless even for this), earn me $150K, and then at the end of the year, they can deduct their $497 payment.

    This kind of thing stinks!

I was sent this video from Mark Ling's list. I respect Mark's accomplishments and the professionalism I have experienced around his business but this is the second flop he has sent me and it is getting annoying.

I am starting to think the top few percent of IMers stand around in a circle patting each other on the back and passing their crap from list to list.

Thanks to all that are posting honest opinions!

Did you purchase the material? If so, can you give a review?

Well, I fell for it and bought it 5 days ago. I'm a newbie and I was hoping this would give me a jump start into this business. But, I'm finding the training to be lacking in detail and some technical problems with the videos that are making me crazy. Either I'm missing something in his training or the level of detail he goes into is not enough for a newbie. I can't seem to be able to load some of his videos either. I've submtted a "support" ticket - if I don't get some good info from them that will help me actually do what he is training, I will ask for a refund.
Those who have asked for a refund - did you get it?

Does anyone have any good suggestions for basic (hold my hand) training - that doesn't cost a fortune. So far I'm finding Ed Dale's "30 Day Challenge" to be the best overall training. It is loaded with info - and it is all FREE!

Any ideas you have would be welcomed.

      Hey Dano,

Don't feel bad I think all of us have bought bad products at one time or another. I would also encourage you to continue evaluating the course with your own critical perspective. Most of the comments in this thread including my own are people that are understandably turned off by the sales pitch and have not purchased the course.

Since you have already bought it learn what you can from it. There is usually a thread of truth in these products they just conveniently leave out some of the really important details. Don't hesitate for a minute to request a refund if it does not live up to your expectations or the hype, err I mean "Mathematical Model."

There is a thread on this forum called "Best product you've purchased?" that may help you find what you are looking for. I don't have enough posts yet to put up links but if you search the text in quotes you will find it.

I'm so glad I'm with the warrior forum. I totally "bought" it and was ready to part with $497 as well... but decided to check here first! This is becoming a habit, thankfully it has proven very useful

Thank you all who took the time to post reviews, opinions or your experiences with this program...

    Cheers

No it isn't. I bought "I Made 500" and am not impressed. Some observations:
I have been using I Made 500 for a couple of weeks and I am not impressed.
It is true that the steps are simple, but the interface is clumsy and restrictive. You can only type and edit your articles and reviews in little boxes that allow you to see 3-4 sentences at a time without scrolling down. If you need to edit something you need to search through the 8 or so boxes they force you to type in the find the section of your page to edit.
Every time I log back into the program I have to click through 10-15 pages to get to where I left off. After the first five or six times of doing this it gets old quick. they have a "Take me to where I left off" button but it does not work properly.

I published my website - they own the content and the domain name - if I want it back I have to pay $97 and wait a few weeks - and after a few days the link for the product I was promoting just disappeared.

There is no way to communicate with any other web site developers in I Made 500 - no forum, nothing. People post their sites and ask for feedback but there is no way to communicate with them.
AND the only way to communicate with I Made 500 is through a support ticket submission. I have been waiting 2 days for a reply.

They ask you to come up with a domain name and suggest something like "www.joewilliamsbookreview" with no thought to the back that if the book is on dieting, google will never take you to "joewilliamsbookreview" - people aren't searching for that.

When you submit an article, you are asked to add tags or keywords. They give you NO training or direction on how to pick these very critical tags.

All in all, I would be surprised if anyone, including me, makes any money using "I Made 500"

I sure appreciate all the honesty here. I am maybe not a newbie anymore. I am getting my sites on page 1. Problem is that even if ou hvae an autoresponder, you don't get emails unless people come to your site which won't happen unless you are at the top of page 1. I have done it with hard core SEO tactics. I wanted to shout out to Market Samurai for much of my training. That was the best 97 dollars I have spent in the last year. I think you can even watch his videos without paying. Look for Noble samurai. That mans teachings are so genuine. And his product is amazing for creating your own campaigns. I use it mostly for watching what backlinks my competition has. Eventaully I will climb to the # 1 spot and THEN I will get the traffic I need. This whole issue about traffic, and how people get it, is constantly overlooked. You can have up 100 sites but if noone sees them then .......................Work is needed. I am now onto back linking and article writing. Any suggestions on a good way to help with that. Again, I can't believe that 1000 backlinks could be see favorably by google.

Thanks for saving me the time to watch the video again. I started and paused thinking I could pick up where i left off and then it reverted back to the beginning.

As in all relationships from building a house to a love life to this business, we need to build a foundation. Study. Practice and in time the benefits will come. There is no such think as a magic course that will make you the money. Sorry but true. Seek out reputable teachers. Nobel Samurai is one of them. REally listen. Learn about SEO. Practice. Buy domains and practice doing it yourself. Wordpress has incredible tutorials everywhere. It just takes time. If you buy something that is bad, get a refund! They want to keep their business up and running. They know that places like this exist and that we will spread the word if they "f" us so they will comply. Use pay pal or click bank only to pay for things. they have excellent refund policies and I have always gotten my refunds.

All the best. Any suggestions on backlinking would be appreciated.

      Sincerely
      Dr. Marika Zoll

The video states these one page websites get search engine traffic without PPC, how do you get the backlinks to this, blog guest posting? Is this the 1-2 hours of work a day the video talks about, what about duplicate content getting nixed by the engines if everyone has the same 7 websites, I don't get it?

I was interested in this but suspicious since there was no information about what it really is. I'm always suspicious to all this hype marketing that tell you what it is NOT, but not what it IS.

Anyway, after reading all the posts here I put this in the garbage bin ;-)

I love the warrior forum for helping us. Without these honest reviews many of us would easily buy into the hype!

I watched the video but am lucky I didn't press the "buy" button thanks to my recent "ban" on hyped IM products.
Its saved me lots over the last three months!
