Did anyone join the Magic Bullet System by Anish and Jay? Please give your thoughts about it?

  • nope, wouldn't mind paying to get access to the actual software itself without the seminar etc.
  • Quality information in
    my opinion alike anything
if the price is a stretch it
    is probably not right for
    your business yet
  • What is the "Magic Bullet System"?

Can you please give me some more information about this system?

    Thank you.

    • Hi everyone. I did sign up, we're on week 4. I have to admit it was a flood of information at the beginning but I've almost caught up with the videos posted on the system.

It seems really promising as everything is very automated. In my opinion it still lacks some testing, I still get a lot of bugs which make me lose some time.

I have the feeling that the flow is still not as well worked out as it should be.

On the other hand, it's incredible how many things it does like for example:

      - Spy competitors for keywords.
      - Expand on keywords suggesting new ones.
      - Find affiliate products to promote.
      - Compare CPC (cost x click) with CPDs (clicks per day).
      - Build your blogs automatically and host them on your hostgator.

Some other limitations are that it only works now with hostgator and I've only been able to post one blog on one domain (main one). I don't know if that's my fault or it's a system limitation. I think they were working on add-on domains but not sure about that.

Another positive thing is that many videos about things unrelated to the system are fabulous.

I was a bit dissapointed with today's webinar (number 4), but the first 3 were spectacular. (saw 2 and 3 on their video site as I couldn't attend).

All in all I'm happy and will stick with them. One thing I like is Amish, Jay and Eric seem really human and down to Earth and concerned about users, and that really makes you feel good in an environment which sometimes feels a bit cold (internet).

Hope that helped!! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask...

      Ciao ;-)

  • Watch out for anything that is not open source.

    Bottom line.

    • Is there any open source tracking and optimization software out there. Is prosper 202 actually open source for example?
  • I've started a Mastermind Group for owners of the Magic Bullet System. You can read about how to join in this Warrior Forum thread...
    http://www.warriorforum.com/local-me...ind-group.html

The general concensous in the Mastermind Group is that we've been very frustratated with getting the blog-builder part of the software working. But, most are optimistic and are giving it a chance to shake off the early bugs. Tech Support has been slow (2-3 days) during this period, but hopefully as the bugs get worked out, their response time will be faster.

The training is excellent with Amish and Jay sharing everything they know that's made them a lot of money. It's a bit scattered, but well worth the time spent sorting it out and absorbing it all. Erik does a great job with the nuts and bolts tutorials. Those are easy to follow.

  • I hope it makes your money back....
  • I have purchased the system. I am not a newbie, but this system scares me a little. First, these guys know what they are doing. The system is well designed and so far seems to be a great product. So, why am I scared to keep this system?

Here is the deal! If I was going to design the most covert CPA system ever, this would be it. You see, the tracking system, CPA network integration, PPC access, blog landing page builder, and many other features means they have total access and CPA metrics to steal from every member their hardwork. After, you go through all the expense and pain of finding a successful CPA campaign. They will know exactly what you did, how much you spent, the ads that worked, where your converting traffic comes from, and basically everything they need to make your campaign their campaign. In fact, because the system is all web based, on their servers, they could even have their software notify them when a member has created a profitable campaign. Not only that, it may even build a copy of your profitable campaign for them. You took all the risk and they get it handed to them on a silver platter.

Think about it, you put a bunch of well trained affiliates to work creating CPA campaigns. You then generate all the successful ones for yourself. By the way, we paid them to do it as well. I have to hand it to them, that is an incredible business model.

I am more than likely going to ask for a refund because, I see no way to use their system for promoting a CPA offer without them being able to steal it. I am by no means saying that they are or will. I am just saying they will have all the pieces you put together and the system to build it for them.

I may keep the system if I can figure out away to protect the information or use it solely for campaigns they will not be able to promote. Such as my own products or private offers. But using it this way limits its power.

It would be nice if they would create the software as a tool that could be run on the members own server. This would be the only way I could 100% trust it.

Amish & Jay, I don't mean to attack you or offend you. I am just calling attention to the possibilties this system gives you. I invite you to respond. What insurance will each member have that you or someone within your organization will not take the work of the members and use it for your own campaigns. How will you use the information you gather? You have started your own CPA network, will you agree not to run your own campaigns as well as all those you employ.

If you intend to use this system at all the way I mentioned, you should not have charged the $3000 for it. In fact, you may have been better to give it away. I am sure a lot of people out there would have no idea the power this system gives you.

I look forward to your response,
    Eric S.

    • I know - huge quote - - but I agree wholeheartedly -
If it were a downloadable app - I know it would run faster on my machines vs sharing "cloud" resources with 1200 other NLP suckers. I also wouldn't feel like Big brother was looking over my shoulder or a "bully" was waiting for me to take my lunch money (profitable campaigns). There really is no excuse - we could always download "patches".
      What does anyone else think?
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Amish's response to the "Stealing Data" question in the Module 4 webinar is below.

Not really knowing the guy, I'm not 100% sure I believe him. But, the fact that he addressed the question gives me a comfortable level of reassurance (ie: $3000 worth)

      - - - -
Amish said (paraphrased from my notes)...
We're not going to look at your data! We don't care to look at your data.
We're not going to steal your campaigns. You'd know in a heartbeat if we steal your campaigns. Your traffic will drop in half. We don't need to steal your campaigns.

Only 2 programmers can access your data. And, they can only access it from their ip address. The data is sitting securely at "servername here". Your data is safe behind a hardware and software firewall.

  • Well, I don't think you need to worry about your campaigns getting jacked. There are two reasons for this:

    1. It would be very noticable, when this happens.
    2. Their existing business model makes sense and is lucrative without them having to steal anyone's campaign.

    1. You keep track of the niches/keywords you market to, right? You'd notice it very quickly when someone copies your exact campaign. If they really did that to all of the members, it would be a matter of a few weeks until word got around, everyone pulled out of the MBS and Amish and Jay's reputation would be destroyed forever.
I don't think anyone would create an elaborate software just for a few weeks of campaign-stealing (it's way easier to steal campaigns the conventional way, anyway).

    2. Their business model is as follows (as far as I can tell): Huge launch for a couple million dollars. Then, train all the members to make money with CPA and encourage everyone to use their own network (yMultimedia). Since they can build a relationship through the MBS, many will be glad to run campaigns on yMultimedia.
Also, they encourage members to sign up to other networks through their affiliate links, which results in them getting a cut of all the revenue made on other networks as well.
Finally, once the few thousand current members have tested the MBS and all the bugs are eliminated, I'm pretty sure it will be made available to an unlimited amount of members, so they can keep earning money from selling the system and the whole cycle of getting people to run campaigns with yM, getting affiliate commissions from other networks etc. can be kept going on and on.

Also, according to Frank Kern, more than 100'000 people signed up to Amish and Jay's list during pre-launch. That alone is something that can potentially make them millions every year.

So, with all that, do you really think it would be worth the trouble for them to go steal anyone's campaigns?

As for the system being hosted on their servers: I don't know why there is no other option. For some of the features, the system would obviously have to "phone home", but I guess it should still be possible to offer a self-hosted version.
Maybe the "final version" of the system (Revenue Logix) will be self-hosted, who knows?

Not trying to be a fan-boy for the MBS, by the way (I think it's a bit of a joke, really), but I don't see any reason to be afraid of campaign-jacking, that's all.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Firstly, I don't own the course. What I know about it is based on the original promotional videos and what I have heard from others.

Based on what I know I struggle to understand why anybody would part with such as huge amount of cash for some rehashed introduction of PPC/CPA and some mediocre automated web generation software. Just think about what else you could get for the money. Doesn't sound to me that any of the teaching or software is life changing. For that kind of cash you could get Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop elements, access to automatic blog posting (WP Robot), access to a decent PPC spy, a good WSO introducing CPA and money to test campaigns. Sure, takes a bit of time to learn it but with this kind of tool kit you'd be all set.

Seems to me that too many people are still looking for that "magic" secret that just doesn't exist and ways to cut corners. You've got to admire them though - how they HELL they managed to persuade so many people to buy this I'll never know!

    Cheers,

    Andy
  • I signed up for the MBS, have been patient but the truth is that the support just isn't working...

I've sent in 5 tickets so far. Two have been lost (don't even appear on the system).

    Out of the other 3:

    - Feb 7th: No reply
    - Feb 8th: No reply
    - latest one with subject "Complaint": I was told to start the whole process over again.

Pretty frustrating and I'm dissapointed as I was really excited about the system...

  • I bought it, don't think the training is any good. Sure they've shared some good tips, but that's all it was tips. It's not training, not for a $3K product. I know they're the real thing, but they haven't shared anything worthwhile at all, even in the mastermind.

For newbies it may seem like they're providing all this how to stuff, but it's so slim on content, I was shocked.

I was really looking forward to learning from Amish.

I think any new person that follows their training will just burn through a bunch of money.

As for the software it was disappointing. Great concept, but sooooo many bugs. And more importantly, it's very time consuming.

I've seen some of the comments where people have said it saves them all this time, but I don't see where.

You can build a blog in less than a minute using WP Direct, have all the same content. And then go and build your pitch post yourself, because their offer sense, makes no sense.

Once you build a blog, you can't go back to the wizard, and change your pitch post, etc.... so if the offer goes down, you'll have a hard time removing it without breaking up their tracking.

It's just really a crappy system.

I was really looking forward to it, but after wasting 6 weeks trying to make it work and learning basically nothing from their trainings, I'm having a lot more success with WordPress Direct, Speed PPC and PPC Bully.

By the way their Keyword Research tool is also very mediocre. It's supposed to spy on competition, and Amish said they've spent $250K on this technology, but I have a hard time believing that, because when I run PPC Bully I get a whole lot more data, more ads that were running longer than what shows up in MBS.

I'm sure they have good intentions, but for $3K it's not worth being a guinea pig.

The Seminar Videos from San Diego last year, were good, but again for $3K?

I have no problem spending money on good information, and I do all the time. But I expect it to perform as advertised.

I think when the dust settles, this just might be the biggest flop in IM launches with so many refunds and disappointed users.

    • Hi Infowarrior,
I also took the Magic Bullet Course and would have to agree with everything you said.
From originally reading all the promo, I thought I had found the key to the Golden treasure chest. It was just a waste of hard earned money. As for the Mastermind group $300.00 a month. What a crock of crap. As for Amish and Jay. They have lost all credibility with me.

      Jan.13, 2011
I would like to retract my previous statement. I have recently started learning and re-studying the Magic Bullet again. It is truly a great course with fabulous tools. It appears to me they have taken out the bugs.
My sincere apologies to Amish & Jay. They have done an excellent job creating this outstanding system.
  • I bought the Magic Bullet System at the launch, knowing that I wouldn't get around to using it for a while - other lucrative work to do.Well it's now (nearly) June 2010, and I think that the dust has now settled. I've been looking at the platform, and studying the materials this weekend, and this is what I think:

    1) The Magic Bullet platform - This is slick - a very useful tool to research, set-up, manage, and optimise affiliate marketing and CPA marketing. It takes you from end-to-end in the process, supporting you with information and automation. It doesn't take care of everything, but it takes a lot of the donkey work out of it, leaving you free to think about marketing (rather than technology).

    2) The courses - sorry guys, but these are frustrating. I'm sure that the content is good, but the pace is tiresome. The organisation of the content is good, but the content itself needs a lot of work. I can see that it's gradually being improved, but it should be spot-on for the money.

    3) Mastermind - It's OK, but I don't think I can see the value I get in return for the payment. There are a few good tools here, but it's slowed to a trickle now. I expect I'll be stopping my payment for this shortly.

So, a professional tool, that falls a little short in terms of content presentation. On the whole, I'm very pleased with my purchase! As for data privacy, I don't know the answer - I guess it's a risk I need to consider before using the tool in earnest. I would be reassured if I knew that my data was encrypted on their database.

    Cheers,
    Philip
  • I am a big fan of Amsih, but so far this MBS doesn't sound too hot. So is Amish basically using a blog as a landing page, and just posting creatives above the fold and links in the content to the cpa offer?
  • ok for starters I would like one person to come forward and say that they have actually made money from the magic bull**** system... second If you want to make money you have to do it the old fashioned way and earn it .... the other options are usually illegal or unethical... Personally I make money with a real business and it took lots and lots of effort and skill ... no one handed the cash over... I truly believe that CPA is a scam and proved it to my self, my programmer and others over the period of 6 months all day every day ... with the best software money can buy including the magic bullet...and an account with every major CPA network under the sun It is my gut feeling that the only people actually making money in CPA are the networks... In conclusion if you are still lookin' for that magic pill, magic bullet or magic anything that will launch you immediately into quick riches.... let me save you the trouble IT DOESN'T EXIST.... and if someone tells you it does if you only pay 3000+ dollars .... THEY ARE LYING...

    • Check this out: hxxp://mbstestimonials.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html

There are many people coming forward who are having success. They just put in the hard work.
  • I was about to make a new thread but noticed this one had already been started so I thought I'd just post here as well...

As I am no longer involved with CPA I have no use for my MB System account and would like to sell it to someone who has a passion for CPA and wants to be able to use top online technology to control all their CPA campaigns.

I also have 3 sessions of MB System Mastermind material along with other extended bonuses for Mastermind members only.

I am willing to let the new owner take my MB System license for $1500 as well which is half the initial $3000 price point.

If you are at all interested please contact me at cpakid at gmail dot com

    Thanks

    • Did you try to get a refund considering the bugs folks are talking about?
  • Banned

  • Yes I purchased this but ended up returning it because I was quite disappointed with the quality of the tools / content considering the price.
  • So from my understanding, it sounds like the MBS system can be replicated just by using WP Direct, Speed PPC and PPC Bully, is this true?
  • How much did MBS cost? $2K? $3K? I don't think that buying expensive tools is the way to go for beginners. Tools can be great and make things really easier, but I still haven't seen a tool that can turn a newbie into a successful internet marketer.

First, you need to learn how to do things by yourself, how to choose niches, pick offers and combine them with traffic sources, etc... Then, when you know what you're doing, consider buying some tools to make the process of creating and managing campaigns easier.

  • This looks like it is being relaunched. know if there are any changes since the last launch. Anyone have any reviews to report from people that have been using it for the last 6 months?
    • [1] reply
    • there have been no changes since the last launch but if you want a all-in one tacking system then i can highly recommend it,
  • I'm currently giving it a one month test to see how it compares to various individual tools. My initial thoughts are that you can just as well use other tools, though the strength of this suite seems to be the way everything is integrated, pluss you can create accounts for outsourcers who can do all the work from one simple interface.

Some of the features are very weak compared to other dedicated products. For instance, the adtracker system seems pale compared to ispionage & similar tools.

I will take it for a serious spin and bring back a more complete review. There is some training as well, and an invitation to an event. That may be the coolest thing about the whole package.
  • I quite like this system ... one big advantage for me is that I can use the entire integrated system from anywhere and from any PC (Mac or Windows), especially since I travel a lot.

I used to do much of the same tasks using SpeedPPC, my own hosted Posper202, Market Samurai, Placement Locator etc. etc. but had to switch between Windows PC and (my favourite) Mac to perform different tasks ...

Its highly productive to be able to accomplish multiple functions from within a single platform. I find the system well organized from the tools and the traning stand points.

Yes, the price is quite a stretch (I would have preferred that they optioned out some of the training to reduce the price point) ... but I figured if I use the system to its full potential, it is a worthwhile investment, provided the developers continue to maintain and upgrade to the tools and the platform over the next 2-3 years or more ...

    My 2 cents!

    Andy
