LinxBoss Has anyone heard of it or used it?

I came across LinxBoss a few minutes ago while doing directory submission for a client. Has anyone heard of it or used it? They're supposed to give you 1,000 links a month divided between 5 URLs (equals 200 backlinks per URL a month) for $127.

I tried to look up reviews for the site but I couldn't find anything. Just curious if anyone has used this before and what they think of it.

    It's pretty damn powerful actually.

I've used a lot of these linking services (3 Way Links, 1 Way, Article Marketing Automation etc.) but this is my preferred choice right now.

I found with 3 Way Links and 1 Way Links, that most of the back linking sites were PR0 in general with a sprinkle of PR3 or PR4. The sales video for LinxBoss suggests PR1 to PR6, but I'm curious what quality of backlink pages any current subscribers are actually receiving?

      Thanks,
      Brian

I've been on Tommy's (the owner) list for a long time and he really delivers with quality.

Although I haven't used the service, I know that Tommy does serious business and I'm sure it works well.

I've just been looking at this service, it looks pretty good especially for people with many, many sites, but is there anyone that has used it for a while and seeing good results?

Looks interesting but i'd like to see trusted warriors reviews about this service. Does it deliver? Are the links really from pr1-6 sites?

I don't think that this will benefit those with many sites cause it says that one account is only for 5 sites. If you need to drive links to more than 5 sites, you'll have to get another account.

This does actually look very good.

I think they must have just rebranded and changed the name etc because that domain hasn't been around for long and there are hardly any links going to it (not a good sign for a link building service...)

May be someone like Matt James, who posted earlier can chime in because this service has supposedly been around for a few years. So if someone can let us no the previous name of it etc then may be we can find some reviews.

You can swap out sites you're linking to so you can tailor campaigns as you like.

Another strategy would be to get authority for a few centralized sites and network outward yourself from there. If you had your own network PR-4-6 authority sites you could boost up a good network of niche sites.

I've been a member for a couple weeks and am trying out the service. I have not tried to dig in and see where the links are coming from yet via yahoo, but I have seen some (positive) movement from the pages that I'm getting links for there.

There are some things about their concept that are interesting. While you get 1000 links per month each domain that you enter is limited to 200 which some may see as an issue. You can setup web 2.0 domains if say you have articles on hubpages or squidoo or blogspot blogs and get links to writeups at sites like that.

For each domain you can setup, you can add as many pages as you want to get links for. It will dilute the 200 links per domain though. So, if you have 2 pages for the domain they would get ~100 links each per month. (The way they put it is that one may get a few more, the other a bit less.) You are required for each page to enter a primary anchor and secondary anchor. 50% of the links for a given page will be primary anchor. You can enter more secondary anchors. It's not clear to me if this dilutes your % for the primary, or if the primary gets 50% no matter what.

If you have more than 5 sites you can add on the ability for more sites at a discount ($90 for 5 additional currently I think.) They have larger bundles at a bit steeper discount.

There are a few things I like about their tracking interface. One is that they chart pages ranking history for a keyword (updated about every 5 days). Second - they import traffic information for the keywords and if it's too low they'll fairly bluntly tell you that the traffic for the keyword is too low for them to bother tracking it. The way I see it - it can save you from wasting energy on a phrase that isn't going to get you much of anywhere.

Of course, the jury is out as far as I'm concerned since I've only been there about 2 weeks, but from what I've seen so far I like the system. (Although I do wish it were possible to find exactly where the backlinks come from within their interface.) I'm committed to trying them out for at least 3 months based on what little I've seen so far, quite possibly expanding my account there to accommodate more domains.

One slight quibble with the tracking is that currently it's only Google/Yahoo (no Bing).

For $127 it is no big deal to throw some money at it and see how well it works... Maybe that is why they priced it right there. We always look for tools that can help track our existing efforts - not so much just replace the tried and true methods of quality link building and relevance.

I'm very skeptical. The interface seems a little clunky, but I am not a huge critic in terms of a tool that "gets the job done" and looks ugly, versus the beautifully polished too that looks great but doesn't perform squat.

I side with the notion that it could be a beneficial system/tool. Will let you all know in the next few weeks. Our plan is to test for 1 month and either jump ship or renew in favor. Supplemental tools make us more efficient and with the demo'd reports, will make our in house systems more beneficial due to backup/audit.

Thanks for your review but i think that your review is based on mostly speculation and not on personal experience with it. The research you did was impressive but i would prefer a review from someone who has had personal experience with LB.

what I looked for in the testimonials was a list of websites that they've worked with so I could check the number of links and also search their keywords to see where they rank. They have no websites listed, bad bad sign. You want to have backlinks coming from relative content too.

Many exciting things going on around here...including a new friendship with a guy named Tommy Liantonio of Linxboss. I spent a half hour on the phone with Tommy a few nights ago; he called because he wanted to advertise on Cool Site of the Day. After I learned about his service and realized how much this guy knew about website marketing, I said "set me up with an account and let's do a case study."

Looks like a complete set up. Good job, and it showed me how to be better at digging in to find more info on what I am interested in.

      Guys,

Look, I speak only as a member here, I'm not interested in digging up dirt on anybody. **** happens and, frankly, you can find all kinds of people on sites like Ripoff Report even if they've only had a single complaint from one customer.

I too have spoken to the owner on the phone and I've seen some of the rankings his members are enjoying. Folks stay in this system for YEARS.

Now maybe you're right, maybe it's some gigantic scam and I'm heading down a rabbit hole of fraud and jail-time but really... it's a freaking linking system that, so far, appears to work.

Slam it all you want, fine with me, I'd rather keep it to myself anyway.

That's January 13th. Why is it that there aren't any other actual reviews?
Oh and yeah... I know that's a bit strange.

I think this is because it was a private system sold to business owners individually. Plus, there was no affiliate program until recently.

        Matt,

I can understand if it was ONE incident or ONE person, but we're talking about THOUSANDS of people who got ripped off. So it's not the same at all. You still didn't answer my question regarding how effective it may be for an already decent ranking website. With the success you're getting, are they on NEW websites or what?

I know people make mistakes and **** happens... but come on... 2 John Doe testimonials? Really?

I don't know what kind of seo/link building company this "George Kaldova" from Louisville, Kentucky is running, but he's no where to be found. I can understand if he doesn't rank well... but in this case... the ONLY mention of a "George Kaldova" IS on LinxBoss.

This was a testimonial by a "Mike Remer" from Atlanta that runs a small SEO consulting company. Tell me then... why is it that I could only find 10 results AND he isn't in either one of those results (besides LinxBoss)?

If his system really does work so well, WHY does he have to have fake testimonials?

I'm not slamming anything, I'm pointing out the facts, which you so call speculations. Btw, thanks for the 1 star rating on my linxboss review article. Oh, you too, Zeb. You guys have been great.

Dude, why are you pointing fingers now. I've got no beef with you. All i was stating that i would prefer someone who has used it personally. Now i find it rude that you're getting offensive on me here. Oh and i had nothing to do with rating your article...

As for the Mike Remer testimonial conspiracy, Kevin... the guy's LinkedIn profile is in the number one spot of your screenshot! He mentions he does SEO for local businesses right there.

For those that are actually interested in the product... as far as I can tell, it gives links from thousands of blogs of all different PRs. The blogs themselves suck but at least they have Google "trust". I've only been in the thing a month and already my main site has shot up 10 places.

            That's all I know, I'm outta here.
