What is the best Hosting?

I've been looking for a hosting service and autoreponder service all in one.

There are two places:

Goldbar hosting and thirdsphere hosting, let me know which direction I should take.

I'm a total newbie, I admit, but in my limited experience, it seems that there are a ton of very specialized niches that have different areas of expertise. Unless there is some real reason for wanting these two services in one company, it seems that hosts are a dime a dozen, and there are at least 3 autoresponder companies -all of whom should be able to meet basic needs.

Let each expert meet your needs the way that you want them met. Otherwise you'll be stuck conforming to the way THEY do things, rather than you working with people who do things the way that YOU want them done.

Hosting and autoresponder all in one? Hmmm...

    What are your needs?

For very high volume mailings look into:
    • Lyris
    • Strong mail
For serious high quality hosting look into:
    • Rackspace
    • LiquidWeb
These are pricey industrial strength solutions for people with high demand/volume and big budgets.

If you just need some basic hosting and good small volume autoresponder service I would go with:
    • Hostgator or siteground for cpanel hosting
    • AWeber, Icontact, or Getresponse can all handle your mailing needs.

I'd recommend keeping them separate. Why put all of your eggs in one basket?

I've been very happy with aweber. For small sites, hostgator.com 's tech support is outstanding.

I personally like Bluehost for hosting. If you're using Wordpress and just looking for a starter autoresponder check out the free [GWA] Autoresponder plugin.

Keep hosting and an autoresponder separate. They do not relate to one another.

Hostgator & Aweber are my recommendations

    I personally keep them seperate.

Hostgator for hosting and Aweber for my autoresponders.

There are some hosting companies that provide mailing software (like ThirdSphere) but professional services will always get more mail through. Just MHO anyway!

Hi I Definitely would Reccomend Both Hostgaror and AWEBER Hands Down...

That being said. I believe the best solution is to keep them seperate in my opinion.

    Hope this helps.

Hostgator is the generally accepted standard,

Although a hot tip for autoresponders:
Check out pro-response.com - It's an affiliate site for aWeber but they've kept the old pricing structure, so its cheaper and you still get truly unlimited subscribers without paying more

I've a couple of servers at Hostgator, and one at LiquidWeb.

Hostgator is pretty good and so is LiquidWeb. If you need shared hosting, or reseller; I'd recommend Hostgator. If VPS, or dedicated, go with Liquidweb.

I use Hostgator for all of my hosting as had a bad experience with a previous host and needed one that was affordable, easy to use and great customer service - they fulfil all 3!

I have only ever used one autoresponder - Aweber - it works great and again is easy to use and affordable.

    Hope that helps!

For hosting, personally I recommend (mt) Media Temple - Web Hosting Built to Scale. although I am using Blue Host.

As for autoresponders, I have used before iContact, Mail Chimp, Imnica Mail and so on but I think the best of the best will be Email Marketing Software, Email Newsletters and Autoresponders by AWeber

    Cheers,

In my opinion you should go with hostgator (as long as everything is whitehat) as they are the most reliable around. Plus theres a coupon to get the first month free :-)
