  • Looks so to me as well, I haven`t joined yet though, and I`d love to hear answers to this too. I just read some thread yesterday that someone expected it to make the JV finding task easier, which currently is not handled by safe-swaps.

Anyone using safe-swaps, please let us know your experience. I know you still have to follow up manually every JV, doesn`t it sum up to the same amount of time spent?
  • You still have to read what you're going to send to your subscribers.

    Everything else is automated.

    • I've been using it for a month and in the last 3 weeks have added 1000 subscribers to my list.
It's made swaps so much faster to setup I don't know how I managed without it.

I've made a video about it on YouTube in case anyone wants to know more

  • Danny, paypal email used for affiliate payments only.
  • Hi Joes, this site rocks!

My list is only 1000 members and I am getting new ad swap requests every day!

I think you won't be disappointed if you join.
  • Safe Swaps says that it has a full-featured autoresponder service. I'm wondering if it really has the broadcast and automated follow up capabilities, as well as list sorting/searching, and other features that I have in iContact.

I don't care about iContact's RSS and social media integrations, but I wonder if Safe Swaps really can handle my list of 6,000 or so emails as easy as iContact does.

I don't have a problem dumping iContact to trade their high rates for a $25/mo system that is actually designed to help me build my list. But... I don't want to take all the time to move my list just to regret it later. Can this replace iContact for me, or is this only for list swaps?

    • Any autoresponder that allows you to import, without optin confirmation, is just looking for trouble... I'd wait until they have some history first. And, that's not an unqualified opinion, I've been in the autoresponder and email space for almost 15 years now.

    • Their autoresponder handles my 7000 list without any problems. I've imported it from Aweber and happy I did it.

I definitely recommend you joining Safe-Swaps.
    • Yes, it has both automated followup and broadcast features.

  • Safe Swaps is awesome. It gives you an opportunity to swap with people in your niche and I especially like the ratings feature (similar to ebay feedback) which allows you to see what other swappers are like. I have been a paying member now for over 2 months and have added over 1500 people to my mailing list.

Join if you are looking for a safe, reliable way to swap. Uncle Dimitry is always adding new features as well (Free autoresponder, solo ads, joint ventures, etc.).

    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Is this only good for the IM space, or do folks build lists in other markets too?
  • Most people there are in IM niche, but most likely you'll find somebody in other niches. We have 3000+ members.

In addition, you can buy solo mailings from others.

    Best, Uncle Dimitry.

    • Hi,
I am thinking of joining safe swap. May i know if it accept GVO eresponder for list size verification purpose? I recently converted to GVO from Getresponse.

      thanks

  • At first I thought this site was awesome, I was getting thousand of clicks and was getting massive conversions and real list growth.

Sadly the people joining my list were not buyers, and I was basically burning my existing list by sending people to loads of free offers and I had no idea if the people I was swapping with were decent marketers or people who promoted the hell out of their list for the latest product launch piece of hype.

Anyway since leaving my other traffic generation sources may not generate as many leads, but the quality has improved and so have my profits.

Bottom line is it's worth joining for a month and trying it for yourself and deciding on your own results.

  • Safeswaps is top notch Uncle Dimitry made a great site ..... I have been a member for almost a year now and it is one of my best investments by far!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Honestly though, not every list is equal. A list of 1000 buyers isn't the same as a list of 100,000 freebie finders. Read reviews and take them with a grain of salt.
  • Adswaps are a great way to build your list.
    Choose your Adwap partners wisely.

Check out the products they are are offering, signup to their list and see what content you get from them. You are sending your list to theirs so make sure you are getting value.

Or your subscribers will come back and bite you on your backside!
  • Someone recommended safe-swaps to me, so I went to the URL and saw this:

Just above the Login, I see a word XYЙ....

I can read Cyrillic and understand Russian - so this word means... DICK!!! LOL.

  • Safe-swaps is nice but traffic there is in seriously low quality ...

it converts, but much lower than "review" traffic.

However, it is definitely worth $25 / mo and you can easily return the investment. I'd recommend it to beginners who want to make their first money without much thinking.
  • Hi all
I'm a member of safe swaps and have been for the last 3mths I started out there just ad swapping but wasn't a great return on a list size of 50 of non responsive subs. I then bought some solos, sunce then have over couble my list and they are response to other persons advert also. I now have a 100 or so subs and also when I'm about 500 or so then can offer solos to get back some of my expenditure. All this was in like a month so 50 subs and a better quality of subs too. I thoroughly recommend safe swaps to any wanting to build there list.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • funny I was on my way to get safe-swaps when I came across this Q. i have a friend who is wild for Safe-swaps and has convinced me to try. So wish me luck I am on my way .See ya on the inside Dimitry.

    • Well, I have heard good things and bad things about Safe-Swap, so I think I will give it a go and see for myself. From what I am hearing it's only $25 a month.

I guess I can afford to invest that to see if it works...stay tuned..I will let you know.

  • I got safe-swaps before a couple of months, I am thrice happy, safe-swaps has permitted me to build a reactive mailing while building a major base of like minded persons that want to build a mailing list together.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Thanks for the feedback everyone, safe-swaps is something I've been looking at for awhile. What's the pricing like on the solo ads? Is it the $25 monthly fee + your solo buy or is the monthly fee only there if you're "swapping?"
    • [1] reply
    • There's a $29 monthly fee I think and swaps are free solos are what you buy and range in prices and depending on clicks bought and seller..
      Rick Ling
  • There's a package deal for $25 and you have to buy solos on top. The adswaps are free of course.

I fully recommend it... One of the best investments I've made in fact.

  • Everyone really needs to be doing their own testing because every marketer is at a different level, therefore conversions will depend on your own marketing abilities.

This is why it pays to read Gary Halbert newsletters, anything by Dan Kennedy, Joe Sugarman, John Carlton and a whole bunch of other world class copywriters.

Get your copy right and you'll see a good conversion.

    Mike Hill

PS. I wonder how many people on Safe-Swaps conduct A/B Split tests on their landing pages and email copy?
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • I'm very happy with Safe Swaps.
Solo Ads and (targetted) Ad Swaps can really be a good addition to your list building strategy and Safe Swaps seems to me to be the best site to do both.

I wrote about it extensively as part of my free "50 Names a Day" free list building WSO, and am actually in the midst of creating an extensive list building WSO. In it I've done a case study using safe swaps as the source for solo ads and swaps. I'm also interviewing some advanced users of the site.. so it should be real interesting to anyone considering.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The other thing you have to be careful of with any adswap is where the traffic is coming from. Some new marketers that do not have a list are swapping and sending traffic from adfly. Adfly is junk traffic in my opinion and will not convert.

So when you think you are building a list because the numbers in your autoresponder are climbing you should double check the IP addresses of the traffic your getting for any similarities or a lot of duplicates.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Mike I agree but unless you get optins you won't know where just clicks come from. Maybe your own tracker on top of the safe-swaps tracker may show generally but not IP addresses. Hence if your a member there the lastest with one user sending traffic and ripping off alot of people within safe-swaps but I guess cause of the optins told them the ip's and apparently were duplicates....!!

  • Hello!

Yes it is very easy to use and makes work easier. It has less hustle and is very handy. You should try it if you want to. It's ok. You should at least give it a try and see if it also suits you or if you find it as a big help. It's really a big help.

    Best of Luck!
  • I am currently testing safeswap and i have purchased 4 soload campaigns. I have gotten about a 25% opt-in rate to my e-mail list but no buyers yet. seems to be a good bang for the buck.

  • My weekend project is to sign up for Safe-Swaps to offer solo-ads to our investor / make money related 30k+ opt in lead list.

Any other places to promote your solo-ad offer? I'm open to ad-swaps but want to make sure we can screen first to make sure its a fair trade.
  • I was recommended to safe swaps about slightly more than a month ago. I must say this is a fantastic way of building a list . It sure cuts down all that effort in finding swap partners.

I'd recommend it for IMers. You'll get quality subscribers and sales conversion if you know which solo seller to buy from.
  • I used safe-swaps for two ad-solo's and it has been a great success, i recommend it.

  • Hmm...i just recently started on solo industry & still building a list. This sounds like a good place for this purpose.I will definitely check it out soon. Thanks
  • This site is good and I've started few solo ads. The results are pretty good.
  • Hi,

In my experience, its better to make first your own swipes and send to your fresh list, then when you have more subs, you can offer some giveaways,. But you will read first your swipes before sending it.

Safe swaps can help you build your list in a fast pace.

    hope this helps.

    Cheers!
  • I've just started using Safe Swaps. I have some solo ads going out over the next couple weeks. I'm sending the clicks to a Contest Domination page for a $1,000 prize contest I'm holding this month on my blog.

I'm planning to test the results with the landing page and then tweak it a bit. I'll be writing a post about it on my site to share the results with my readers.

  • I'm new to IM so I don't have a list yet. My first step obviously, is to build a list. Will safe-swap help me with this or is this only for those that already have a list? As an unpaid member, can I buy solo-ads? That makes more sense to me then trying to swap lists when I have nothing to swap and not enough experience to know if it's a responsive list or a junk list.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
  • Seems as safe-swaps has some problems with their website, account suspended ?
  • I think their service is great and it really helped me build my list...I will also try to sell solo ads through safe-swaps!
  • after a recent spam blacklist, entire subnetwork from our provider - Hostgator has been blocked. We are working right now on unblocking.
  • The entire 'safe swaps' site has been blacklisted, it doesn't even go to a 404 page now - dead in the water!
  • the site is not in blacklist anymore, but entire HostGator's subnetwork doesn't work for some reason. Right now our people are working live with them to get everything up as fast as possible

  • hi

do they offer forex solo ads?
  • Swaps are alright, but giving your subscribers to other IMers repeatedly may not be the best idea. I only run a few swaps a months, if any at all for that reason. But, there are mixed ideas on this so...

As long as you replenish your list and keep building swaps are great, and Safe Swaps is the best I have seen.

    • Thanks Anoosh

I was considering this service to start building my list.

Do you have any other recommendations? Also can you expand on how you are replenishing your list. Are you using Solo Ads for this from anywhere in particular?

    • My experience is that safe-swaps is 100% Internet marketing
  • The rating feature is really what makes safe swaps so great. Just as you instantly get a sense of credibility of a vendor or Ebay, you the same sense when considering who to swap with.
    • [1] reply
    • I'm not sure, when I look at the forums there seems to be reason to careful. I read how more advanced users can trick ad buyers by faking the clicks. Sounds like you really have to be careful if veteran safe swap members are calling out others for theses deceptive practices. You need to know how to look at your data and be able to spot suspicious clicks, beginners beware......
  • I already joined the safeswaps but hasn't started testing out yet.I just started building my subscribers so its too early for me to do swaps on there.
    • [1] reply
    • Can you just purchase a mailing off of a member without swapping your own list?
  • Hi,

What kind of conversions are you getting building a list with Safe-Swaps?
Lists are still responsive will all the swaps?

    Thanks!
    • [1] reply
    • I do 2-3 swaps a week and my list is active thanks to constant contact with subscribers.
  • I've looked through the site before and recognized a lot of the big name IM gurus on there using swaps.

I personally have never tried it (as I don't have a large list myself yet) but believe there is defintiely results to be had here.
  • Has anyone here ever purchased a safe swap mailing without having a list yourself?
  • I heard it also a goo place for swapping, does anyone any other place for solo swap?
  • safe swaps is garbage and NOT SAFE

    why?

the rating system? lol it's just like ebay.

i'll rate you 5stars if you rate me 5stars after the swap? then we can keep on swapping with others...

    just a big con job.

oh and the lists are all freebie seekers.

    • Not true. I've seen "reputable" members banned after a newbie wrote to the support, asking to check log files.

I like Safe Swaps. Besides they are implementing a good deal of features right now, making it even more safe.
      • [1] reply
  • ok, I might give this a try I need more subscribers.
  • My biggest concern with Safe-Swaps is the quality of leads you are generating.

The people sending out your offer, are sending offers to their list everyday.

What kind of quality do you expect from those type of vendors? Think about it.

People talk about building a list fast, what good is it to have a big list of freebie seekers?

When I think of solo ads the #1 thing I think of is where these people are coming from.

If these subscribers were so good, than why are people selling them left and right?

If you took good care of your list would you be promoting offers every single day?

I'm not saying they are bad, I haven't used them long enough to make that judgement.

But I do question the quality of these subscribers, especially in this niche.
    • [1] reply
    • I also got this question in mind. I'll start purchasing Solo Ads next week using Safe Swaps and I'll tell everyone the result. I'll simply promote an offer but will also catch their emails.

By the way, is there any other website similar to Safe Swaps?

      Best Regards,
      Mesina
  • If you have an attractive offer, it is possible to get good signups from some of the well-renowned vendors in safe-swaps. Like averaging over 30% conversion at least to your squeeze page. An OTO sale or two is a nice bonus, then hope to make more money on the backend.

True to its name, it's safer than buying direct from unknown vendors, since the site automatically tracks the vendor's traffic for you. If it's not good, leaving a negative rating would hurt the seller's business, ebay style.

My only gripe would be that the earliest you can get traffic is within 3 days, that's the earliest possible date scheduled by the system in the calendar. I don't think a vendor can deliver earlier than that from my experience. Whereas if you're familiar with a solo ad vendor, they can send you traffic anytime within 24 hours or less based on their availability.

    Cheers,
    Chris

  • OK - I think it is important to read this as I am concerned about Safe-Swaps (though I haven't so far had what I call a negative experience)

    https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...05767012782350

Here are my comments from that post -

"Well I tried to post this in the safe-swaps forum but because I'm not a paid member (I do buy solo emailings there... at least I thought they were solo emailings - hopefully they actually were).

In your post there regarding the Wild market vs Safe-swaps you state this comment to someone "Facebook and Twitter traffic is valid too, but the System marks it as Web traffic, which it actually is. You won't have problems with your customers, if they are ok with FB and Twitter traffic. They will see it on their stats page."

    HUHHHH?

I'm extremely concerned about this. Are you saying that traffic outside actually solo ad mailings are allowed in the system?

Let's look at what safe-swaps advertises on the front page "Buy solo mailings from top notch sellers with verifiable history and get instant traffic, optins and sales"

I buy Facebook clicks from Facebook ads & pay a less amount for it with targeting then via solo ad clicks. I am using safe-swaps to send solo mailings as promised & want my traffic to be from the sellers email lists.

If safe-swaps allows this then you must make it plainly clear for buyers like myself that a seller is generating traffic outside of their list otherwise it is just plain deceptive - a "wild market"."

I have purchased solo ads elsewhere so maybe this is an issue there as well (likely)?
    • [1] reply
    • There are going to be bad apples in just about any industry/market.

Safe swaps is so named because their tracking system filters all the non-email traffic that could be sent by solo'ers and swapers. If too much of the non-email traffic is detected (the exact amount is debatable) an account can and will be shut off without a refund for the $30 monthly fee.

I can posting it but people don't seem to listen so much. There is a facebook group with a flash flood of testimonials, updated constantly, that posts the results of different solo sellers.

Just watch that thing like a hawk to see which solo sellers are consistently rated well and stick to them.

Don't use the skype groups to find quality providers. It appears that the scammers on there now out number the legit sellers. It's sad that might not actually be true, but from experience it feels like it.

Being referred to quality solo sellers and researching and examining their reviews, reaching out to buyers to ask them questions etc all play a role in this game.

If you plan things out well you can easily create a small rolodex of solo sellers you can trust on Facebook simply by examining solo testimonial pages for the high converting sellers (both for sales and opt-ins).

Just be smart about who you hand your money to.

No testimonials or reviews = walk away.

No sales page and super low cost = 50/50 could be beginner needing testimonials or scammer

Only pay more than 40 cents a click if they have the reviews to back up the quality of their services; this means lots and lots of sales made from their solos. Opt-ins are ok but sales are the cash cow here.

But don't be surprised if you come across a scammer. If happens on occasion if you're looking for a good fresh seller who isn't known yet (there are tons of legit people just coming into the industry). Just take a lot of screen shots of whatever evidence you can come up with and try your best to look for established solo sellers who are far less likely to screw you over.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Yes - I have been paying attention to that testimonial group on Facebook (as well as MANY other FB groups). I am about to start doing requests for sellers in the FB groups, just paid for a forum post (want to buy) at Safe-Swaps & likely will create a classified ad here at WF as well. Luckily I haven't felt ripped off on my solo ad buys anywhere (except Fiverr - LOL). It's important for me to get this right as I'm also advising a growing network of affiliates as well.
    • [1] reply
    • The solos offered in the classifieds on the WF appear to be some of the strongest that I have seen. That $20 fee seems to be a big enough barrier of entry to keep the scammers out, or most of them anyway.

Putting in the effort to create a decent sales page for solos shows me that the person is serious about their business and isn't afraid to either put in the work to create their page or hire it out to make it look nice.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • How much is it to buy instead of swapping? What's the average rate?
    • [1] reply
    • Buying clicks on SS is not a set amount. Every member can set their own prices.

The most important thing to pay attention to is the sellers rating from other buyers.

You can expect to pay anywhere from .35 to .75 per click.

If you can afford it, buy at least 100 clicks to get a measure of the value. Understand, it may not be the seller, it may be your offer.

      Good luck.

      David
