Best Program For A Newbie

I am trying to learn how to make a living from the internet and am looking for recommendations for a good program to get started with. I am experiencing information overload with all the programs that I get emailed with everyday.

I am interested in Auto Content Cash, The Mini Site Formula, and mini sites in general. I would appreciate any advice that you might have for someone that is ready to dive in.

Right now it is hard to say. As usual there servers are having problems. Most people are not able to login to there system and access the material.

I don't mind that they run into these problems but I sure wish they would keep us informed as to what is going on. I am completely in the dark.

    frustrating!

I personally recommend Wealthy Affiliate. It's where I have learned about 90% of what I know about Internet Marketing. It's got tons of training courses, tools, etc.

The link in my signature takes you to me complete review of it, if you want to check it out.

      Best of luck to you!

You may consider subscribing to Brian Johnson, Neil Shearing. Avoid all those who emails you for each and every products !! It's the PROOF enough to avoid them.
Don't browse lots of forums. Always avoid something like:--

      1. Completely AutoPilot
      2. Even a Monkey can Do it !!!
      3. Five-figures within a month
      4. Set it and Forget it
      and lots more

Search for reviews for the products of Brian Johnson, Chris Farrell, Mark Ling and start with any one of them. Avoid being Analysis-Paralysis

      All the best.

    Hi Ken,

My first piece of advice would be to never trust a 'review' which didn't include any negative comments in it ;-)

The three names I would look out for are Chris Freville, Steve Clayton and Ed Dale.

    Hi Ken,
I have only recently started IM, but my advice to you at this stage is to read a lot of the entries on the Warrior Forum and generally familarize yourself with the various types of Marketing and the type of products you want to market. The obvious route is creating your own product from scratch, buying a Private Label Right product and tailoring to your requirments, or go the Affiliate route. Maybe you want to start with just one and then use the others as you gain more experience.

    All the best,
    Lawrence

    Hi Ken

To be honest, all those programs and systems you have just described arent worth the paper they been written on. They only make money for 1 person, the guy selling it. What you need to do is do what everybody else does who makes an honest living with affiliate/internet marketing.

Most people own sites and drive PPC traffic to it (combined with SEO) and then pitch some kind of offer they get a commission on. I find this a bit too risky as I dont want to take ALL the risk by letting a merchant do the selling part if I send him valuable traffic.

What I do is share that risk and only do pay-per-lead. Works like a charm and I recommend you do the same. Much easier anyway.

    Ken,

My advice is to put away your credit card and/or PayPal account! You need to get a solid understanding of how to make money online and then act on it. At this point you don't need to spend any money on "how to" stuff. There are boatloads of quality information that you can get for free on this forum and other blogs, forums, etc. - the key is knowing where to look.

To help you out, here are some free resources that I highly recommend:

Thirty Day Challenge is all about starting your IM business and making your 1st $1 online. I took a similar challenge w/ 22 other n00b IM'ers back in 2006. I earned my 1st affiliate marketing commissions during that challenge, but the knowledge I gained from the experience was far more valuable ... it's something that can't be quantified.

Cash Tactics | The Internet Marketing Blog gives its readers very high quality content on different aspects of IM. I've been reading CT since it first started in 2007.

Bum Marketing Method - Free Traffic Tips is an excellent course by Travis Sago (a member of this forum). You can apply Travis' teachings beyond BUM marketing. His course will teach you what you need to know about (1) finding hot buying niches; (2) keyword research; and (3) how to generate free traffic.

You're going to find that internet marketing boils down to thinking, ability to focus, taking action, testing and being persistent.

Try to get yourself in Mike Filsaime and Liz Tomy's lists as soon as possible, they are at the present offering businesses in a box where everything is set up for you (and when i say everything, I mean everything), the only thing you have to do is drive traffic to your businesses, that's it

you can check Liz Tomy's opportunity here Ready To Go Business Models

Auto Content Cash is auto blogger. It will create the content for you automatically but remember that if your content is not unique or gives any added value to the visitors you won't get income since they will leave your site in second without see or click the adSense or affiliate links & won't get back to your web. So I think the promise of "never to be touched again" is completely wrong because your competitor will beat you unless you have a niche with has no tight competition.

    I do agree with Mick535

I'm not sure how much of a beginner you are, but start listing items on eBay.

It's tough to just jump into this head first. And don't believe all the hype! Everything is scalable, but takes a lot of hard work and mental focus.

Start with the obvious ways of making money online and go from there.

I guess this question realy boils down to what IM model you want to follow. And if you don't know what's available spend some time here and check out your options before jumping in.

Having said that there are a couple of starting points you might want to check out.

Check out the Mini Site University. Great no cost site that has a ton of free information.

      Welcome To Mini Site University!

The War Room is a must.

And if you are happy to pay to learn, which at some point you're going to have to, Dennis Becker's Earn 1K a day online will give you everything you need and all the help to get started.

      Good luck

First of all keeping your c card in your pocket is a very good idea at first.
Alway think that all these good writen sales pages are just that well writen sales pages.
Theres no riches over night program out there. And each and every one of them needs work to be done.
Business in a box are not bad as such But one of the hardest things to do is:GETTING TRAFFIC
Even the best bib don´t work if you can´t get traffic to it
Keep a strait head on and don´t get suckerd into every "Deal" that comes down the pike
And if you pick a program stick to it don´t go bunny hoppin around every biz takes TIME

I myself is just recovering from information overload. Unfortunately, I didn't put my credit card away fast enough, and ended up buying many ebooks and courses on varying topics on IM. But its not an entirely bad thing, because I believe the content of those courses has shorten my learning curve somewhat.

My suggestion for Ken as a fellow beginner, is to throw the mindset of 'fast, easy money' when thinking about earning online. A couple of months ago, I had that kind of a mindset, and it got me no where. But now, I am ready to bust my behind to make sure I figure out this whole IM business, and make a living doing it.

It's good that you already have something you would like to focus on. As for me, I am focusing my effort on promoting CPA offers, and building a list of my own.

Good luck Ken, and wish me luck as well!

Best thing to do about starting out is do your own research, study what works and what's not, (trial and error) and of course a lot of action and a lot of work and be careful not to fall into a lot of hype, although there are a lot of courses that can help you. To me, i have realized that most people won't exactly tell you their very own secrets that makes them money online, however there are a few people who are willing to do so. I've experienced the information overload, fall into a lot of hype, so what i did, i started with creating products. Sell the products. Sell it on ebay, amazon, or just sell digital products and sell them on tradebit, or create your own website and sell physical products mixed (CD/DVD and ship them through fulfillment) or CD+book/manual.
Or you can try affiliate marketing if you like -- CPA. There are tons of money making ideas that can make you money. Just do your research.

    Hi Ken,

I still consider myself a Newbie even though I've been dabbling in this internet marketing "thing" since Oct. '08. I have a full time job so its been difficult to study and apply the new skills I've learned. I'm hoping to one day quit my day job and do this internet marketing full time.

I've tried Wealthy Affiliate, 30day challenge, One Week Marketing, Bum Marketing, Beginners Internet Marketing Strategy and several other beginner programs. All are excellent in ideas, techniques and strategies.

But the program that really got my attention is Chris Farrell's Membership site. I've learned more in the past month from this site then all the other programs.

His video tutorials are easy to follow and I like his step by step approach.

Good Luck in your journey to success!

Personally I would go for a different approach. When I started in IM I didn't buy a "program" as such and still I never have. I bought senuke, mark dulisses senuke videos (amazing) and got to it and luckily it all seemed to work out. however I realise that's quite a big investment to start with and it can be quite demoralising if sales don't come through for a while. My advice would be to work out the in's and out's of article and affiliate marketing and then automate that process either senuke, brute force seo or any other automated program like that. Then you will see results for sure. Good luck
