I've received several emails about this program from Tellman Knudson. Does anyone know anything about the 90 Minute Cash Advance program?

here's the sales page (not an affiliate link) http://www.90minutecashadvance.com

Thanks,

Diana

  • I just got done listening to this. There's alot that I think is pretty cool here for people that have good ideas on reaching out and helping people. Artists, producers, writers etc..
I was left wondering how ok it would be though, to keep funding for personal expenses that were meant to go to whatever project you were getting funding for. This point was not really covered very well enough for me....although there was one example where some guy asked for 'sabbatical' money to continue a pretty odd project....and he got it. Like 25 thousand dollars no less!

Anyway..overall pretty cool info. I guess I'm still trying to come up with some ideas that I could actually do where I could add my living expenses in there too as part of the deal.

Hoping for additional feedback as well while I think about all of this.. =)

  • OK, I can afford $1 and a phone call if it's BS. I'll report back.

Still not going to stay on Tellman's list though! No Shabambo for me please.

    • lol.. not in a rush to spend even a dollar on the shabambo dude 's offer just to uncover his "revolutionary" cash advance find

      Please do let us know.

I'm getting off his list as well
  • SHABAMBO! I have a new respect for Tellman. Did I use it right??

Soo... it's pretty much like he says in the sales letter, though the title is a little misleading. It's more like, cashadvancewith90minutesofwork, not a cash advance in 90 minutes - certainly not! It's about "crowd sourcing" and how to do it. I've gotten through 3 of the 6 audios. The first one was 17 minutes and the next 2 were an hour long each. So it's like 90 minutes plus the hours and hours of listening to how to do it.

I wouldn't say it's easy money, per se. Nothing is ALL peaches. But I haven't done it so I don't really know. Tellman says to look up his project where he raised $7K and well... I didn't find it. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, it just wasn't on the website like he said it would be...? There is certainly something to this and it is VERY LOW RISK. There basically isn't any except using your time. If you don't mind getting handouts from benevolent people, I would pick this course up, for sure.

I will say I have a new respect for him because I enjoyed his enthusiasm and candor presenting a new idea as well as his views on how to contribute to society... and it was only $1. It does have a $67 forced continuity that I will cancel (I mean, he didn't sell me on it AT ALL... I don't even know what I'm getting). Maybe his thinking might have been (I'm speculating, of course)... "I've got this idea that is so outlandish that I don't think anybody will buy if it's not $1 or free. But I've got to make some money, so why not slap some vague continuity on it?" Well, at least that's what it seems like. There's also 2 upsells, one for $47, a social site marketing training and a $97 which is 3 of his old courses. I passed on both.

All in all, I'm glad I learned about it. Not sure if I'll implement yet, but it could definitely have its uses in the future. I might just post some projects and see if they get funded. I mean, why not? Free money is free money.

Still not going to stay on Tellman's list... ha! I kind of kid around about this but do I really want emails with JUST A LINK and SHABAMBO? Not really. I would like to at least know what kind of offer I'll be going to. Shawn Casey, who sent me this link, is only a small step up from this (in terms of content within emails) but credit where credit is due, he did send me the link. However, his email read this:

    "Yours in success,

    Shawn Casey

P.S. Don't delay, you could be watching
your first free funds falling into your
account within two hours from right now..."

Uh... not quite Shawn. But almost. I'll stay a subscriber.

End rant. Hope this helps some peeps.

Yeh, you could probably do this on your own though.

That is why he never mentioned the website.

I used clues in his pics to find it though.

  • Tellman's an interesting person. Three minutes on Google and I came up with the
core (although, not the whistles and bells offered by Tellman) of the concept, which
is underpinned (it seems to me) by a site called Kickstarter.com Kickstarter

I have NOT bought Tellman's product and know nothing about its overall workings.
That said, specific Internet marketing principles applied to a presentation on Kickstarter could (no promise is made here nor is any guarantee made OR implied, as per FTC regulations) ... could produce some form of result.

The answer might be to split test the two: one version just using Tellman's methods and one version winging it on Kickstarter. Ya picks takes yer number and takes yer chances.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Thanks for the reviews from folks above. I came here, not because I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest the $1, but whether I wanted to spend the time looking into this. I may just go take a peek at Kickstarter, if that is a substantial portion of this idea.

I DO actually have an offline (and online too) product that I am trying to launch. I have about $10K funds available for start-up, but there is more that I could do with more that would increase chances of success. Will investigate further based on comments above.
  • I saw this and also looked up the Kickstarter site on my own.

To me it would only work if you have a cool project you need funding for. Going there and saying you need 5k to build a bunch of adsense websites probably won't cut it.

I skimmed the salespage but it sounded like he was saying you could get funding for anything, which probably isn't the case.

Maybe if you come up with the right angle to present it, and maybe that's what the course covers?
  • I didn't take the $1 trial, but I knew right away it was kickstarter. It *had* to be as it is the hottest thing right now for funding projects. A friend of mine is pushing his indie record label on there right now and he's had a bit of luck with it so far.

From an IM standpoint, this could work, you just have to think outside of the box.

For example, if you have an ebook you want to sell, just "give" it away with a $47 donation.

Expanding on that example - let's say you have an ebook but you want to also offer a video package. Ask for donations, set the bar at $3,000 (for video equipment let's say). Then give the ebook away for $50 donations, and give the video package away for $100 donations. You get the idea.

I am not a lawyer, so my biggest question is the legality of all this. I *guess* if you deliver on your promises you may be in the clear, but if you're trying to raise money for products you already have created you may be in hot water. I think like Tellman's sales letter says, this is to *fund* projects, not to make a quick buck off philanthropists. Just my two cents.
  • It might work to others but I'm wary...
  • The link is not working now. When I put my name and email address, it does NOTHING.

Anybody else have had this problem?
